Hector Aleem’s Judge showed up but Hector’s lawyer did not. Hector has been incarcerated for years on a false Blasphemy charge in Pakistan. Hector was cleared of Blasphemy but has been kept in the slammer reasons I am not to clear about; however I am convinced being a Christian activist in a Muslim nation has something to do with his incarceration.
The lawyer was a no-show because he did not receive his fee. Below is Mehwish Aleem’s brief description of watching in futility as her father was sent back to jail.

Yesterday was Hector Aleem, Chairman Peace Worldwide’s hearing in High Court, the judge waited for the lawyer but he didn’t appear. The judge kept the case in waiting because he thought that the lawyer would appear after a little while but he didn’t. Now the next date for hearing is October 2, 2012. The lawyer didn’t appear because of the nonpayment of fee. Brother Shane did arrange some money but the amount wasn’t enough. Any of you who want to donate please donate because we have to pay him before October 2nd. Please keep us in your prayers and those who can donate please follow this link http://tinyurl.com/hectoraleem
Hi there,
ReplyDeleteThe plight of this family, has been going on for a long time. We need to continue to pray for them at this time, actually right up to the time Hector is released and beyond. It is our job as a Christian community, to lift each up in prayer, to help one another out when we can, to pray against anything or anyone that may try to distract us from doing what we are called to do. There will always be distractions. The Lord wants us to take care of our families and then help others as we can. Of course, for those of us who have been Christians for a while...we know we are not called to all do the same thing but different things. It just seems to me, that the body of Christ tends to leave our 'wounded soliders' behind and pretend like everything is ok when it really isn't. I pray for the body of Christ in the US, to cry out to the Lord, stand up, repent of whatever they should repent of, move forward, and sincerely ask the Lord 'what would you like me to do Lord.' In my opinion, there would be fewer needs in our community, if believers really did that. So, I will start with myself and be praying.
Blessings, Sue
