CPAC is huge with rallying Conservative Republicans with a platform to disseminate Conservative concepts. Thus candidates for Office up to and including the Office of President of the United States often make appearances to gauge support.

The next CPAC meeting is in February 2011. The 2011 CPAC meeting has become controversial among Social Conservatives because the homosexual group GOProud. Many Conservative Pro-Family groups that usually attend CPAC are wavering about attendance due to the presence of the homosexual GOProud.

Personally I concur with Pro-Family groups that GOProud should not be at CPAC. GOProud should go to a Libertarian convention where fiscal Conservatives and Social Liberals can walk hand in hand.

While many Pro-Family groups are deciding whether or not to attend CPAC, The American Principle Project has announced it will not be attending CPAC as long as GOProud is a part of the conference. I heartily say, “AMEN” to the American Principle Project.
