Ben: Islam's Relations with Scriptural Religions

Ben’s Blog provides another be educated about Islam moment. Ben writes about a tafsir written by Sayyid Qutb. Qutb is one of the psycho founders of the Muslim Brotherhood (AKA Ikhwan) (SA MEFORUM)that advocated violent Jihad to conquer the world for the glory of Allah (Mohammed’s god that Mohammedan apologists incorrectly insist is the same as the Judeo-Christian God).

Islam's Relations with Scriptural Religions

Sayyid Qutb wrote a tafsir of the Qur'an called In the Shade of the Qur'an. In the past, links to it have proved to be dead ends. Today a link turned up in a large on line library which did not lead to a dead end. It led to download links for 15 volumes of the shade.

Curious to see what Qutb had written about Surah at-Taubah 29, I downloaded volume 8 and searched for the ayeh of interest, which I found on page 83 of the pdf file. The translation given does not match any of the usual translations word for word, perhaps Qutb did his own translation, but it does contain the essential elements and does not appear to distort the meaning of the ayeh.

Qutb styles his tafsir of this part of the repentance chapter as "Relations with Other Religions". On page 85, he gets down to the detail I sought.

The main amendment the new rulings include is the order given to fight those who deviate from the divine faith until they pay the jizyah, or submission tax, after they have been humbled. No peace agreement may be made with them except on this basis of submission evident by the payment of a special tax which gives them the right to live in peace with the Muslims. On the other hand, if they become convinced of the truth of Islam and accept it, they are considered part of the Muslim community.

I would have chosen scriptural instead of other in the topic title, and I find only one fault in the critical paragraph quoted above. A hudna or temporary cease fire would be possible if the Muslims found themselves unable to conquer their intended beneficiaries.

The wording of the previous sentence will seem unusual until you adjust your thinking to the Islamic point of view. Islam views us as slaves to tyrannical systems which must be destroyed so that we can be liberated. Think of it as a mirror image of Shrub's dream of liberating Afghanistan & Iraq.

Inevitably, coexistence between the divine system and human systems opposed to it is possible only in certain situations and under specific conditions. These ensure that no material impediments are placed in the way of the implementation of the universal Islamic declaration of the liberation of man from submission to any authority other than God. The divine system wants to prevail so that people are liberated from submission to other human beings and can submit to God alone. By contrast, the other systems want to defend their own status by crushing the movement aiming to establish the divine system in human life.

Qutb confirmed the obvious: 9:29 is an imperative for perpetual offensive warfare against people with scriptural religions other than Islam. The relationship between Islam and us is perpetual war.

Christian Hector Aleem Murdered in Pakistan?

John Houk
© June 19, 2010

Yesterday I had post a story about Oklahoma State sending an Amendment of the State Constitution to the State voters that would ban Islam’s Sharia Law from use as precedent and criteria for Oklahoma’s judicial system to make rulings citing Sharia Law. I could not post it at my primary blog because occasionally wording or too much html flags security software prevents a post. So I had to post at the sister site SlantRight 2.0.

I mention this because my pal Ben sent me a post about the plight of a Christian Pakistani who was jailed for his faith in Pakistan. The reason for his incarceration is the religion of peace’s Sharia Law has labeled him a blasphemer for allegedly sending a blasphemous text message to a cleric. Blasphemy is code for insulting Islam or that perfect human being Mohammed. Such an accusation under Sharia Law is not a good outcome for an accused Muslim and certain death for a Christian. That good old Sharia Law which is the measuring stick of being a good Muslim stipulating that ye old kafir blasphemers must die for insulting Islam.

The reality is Aleem sent no such text and was framed for attempting to protect a Christian Church in Pakistan.

The Pakistani Christian that has been incarcerated is Hector Aleem. The lack of news coverage by the Western MSM is appalling. One of the classic MSM deficiencies is that Hector Aleem has inexplicably disappeared from his Pakistani jail cell. The only explanation given to the Aleem family is some undisclosed Pakistani Agency has moved him to an undisclosed location. The word “undisclosed” is probably a euphemism torture (in the Muslim style) which will be followed by bodily mutilation and death – unless a miraculous deliverance occurs.

Now on to Ben’s Blog exposé.

Ben’s Blog on Geller Ground Zero Interview

John R. Houk
© June 9, 2010

Ben’s Blog picks up on the Mainstream Media (MSM aka Left Wing Media) being so committed to diverse multiculturalism that they show a blind eye toward issues that should insult and offend Americans in relation to the violent nature of Islam. Not long ago Pamela Geller of Atlas Shrugs and Stop Islamization of America (SIOA) joined in the protest of the Cordoba Foundation building a Mosque to be named Cordoba House in the shadow of the former site of the Twin Towers (Ground Zero) that were destroyed by Islamic terrorists (also to mention the murder of thousands of innocent victims of theopolitical Islam).

Geller and Robert Salaam give contrasting views in a CNN interview. The interviewer was openly hostile toward Geller while remaining silent as Salaam shared the typical Islamic deception that Islam is peace and that the representatives of Islamic terrorism is an aberrant distortion of the true nature of Islam. Salaam even reads from the Mecca portions of the Quran as if the violent portions from the Medina portions of the Quran did not exist. In case you have your head in the sand: Mecca portions of the Quran are typically peaceful while the Medina portion of the Quran is typically violent calling for violence and destruction of non-Muslims and those who left Islam.

Ben takes the interview and dissects it to demonstrate the deception of Islam and the open stupidity of the MSM.

Pakistan: Muslims Persecute Hector Aleem for being Christian

John R. Houk
© May 21, 2010

Who is Hector Aleem? Hector is a Christian involved in human rights issues in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. One day a Muslim Cleric claimed he received an anonymous text message which in the Cleric’s estimation insulted his psychopathic insidious Prophet that we know as Mohammed. Whether the text message was a stage event in order to blame something on a Church to ensure its destruction or a prank by a Muslim or a Christian not pleased with the Muslim Cleric is not determined. The only thing that Pakistan authorities have determined is that Hector DID NOT send the text. In the Islamic way of the so-called religion of peace it was apparent someone had to pay for the text. Thus Hector was originally charged with Blasphemy in Pakistan – a capital offense in enlightened Islam. (A Western Muslim defining the Islamic penalty for Blasphemy and Apostasy)

When it was proved the text message was not from Hector, the Blasphemy charge was dropped. BUT the vendetta to blame a Christian and undoubtedly to destroy the Christian, the Muslim authorities thought of another charge against Hector. The charge is “abetting Blasphemy.” Now if Hector is innocent of Blasphemy under the crazy Islamic law, what in the world kind of dreamed connection is being imagined for Hector abetting Blasphemy against Islam?

Here’s the rundown from Compass Direct News 2/5/09 of how Hector of the Christian faith began receiving persecution from intolerant Islam in Pakistan:

More than 100 protestors last week surrounded a Pakistani courthouse and chanted death threats against a Punjabi Christian said to be framed for sending a “blasphemous” text message on his cell phone.

Rawalpindi police arrested Hector Aleem, 51, on Jan. 22 and detained him on charges of sending a text message that insulted the Islamic prophet Muhammad. At his Jan. 27 hearing at the Rawalpindi Sessions Court, crowds gathered and began shouting death threats.

His attorney, Malik Tafik, told Compass that a local man allegedly framed Aleem for the charges because Aleem has made legal challenges on behalf of Christians involved in a land dispute. Aleem directs a small agency that often defends the rights of Christians.

Last November, a scholar associated with the national Islamist political movement Sunni Tehreek received a text message claiming to have come from Aleem. The religious scholar registered blasphemy charges against Aleem on Nov. 28 at the Rawalpindi police station.

Police raided Aleem’s house at 1:30 a.m. on Jan. 22 and assaulted him, his wife, and his two daughters. They also stole 50,000 Pakistan rupees (US$630) worth of valuables and broke pictures of Jesus hanging on their walls, according to a report from the Center for Legal Aid Assistance and Settlement (CLAAS).

Authorities charged him with violating sections 295c (blasphemy) and 109bb (abetting) of the Pakistani criminal code. Aleem was transferred to a Rawalpindi anti-terrorism court for a second hearing on Jan. 30, where an even larger crowd of protestors gathered shouting that his life would not be spared. Many of those who came to protest were associated with Sunni Tehreek, which has been involved in violent sectarian clashes with other Islamist movements in the last decade.

“There were about 150 people protesting that Aleem should be handed over to them,” Tafik said. “And there were many journalists, two news stations, and lawyers who came out to protest against him.”

At a hearing at an anti-terrorism court on Monday (Feb. 2), Judge Sakhi Mohammad Kohut exonerated him of blasphemy charges but did not clear him of abetting. A government official told Compass that the judge’s decision was heavily influenced by Islamic extremists attending the open court hearing who told the judge, “If you release [Aleem], then we will kill him outside.”

At the hearing, the judge implicated the man who allegedly framed Aleem – Bashar Kokar, previously charged multiple times with fraud – accusing him of using his cell phone to send a blasphemous message against Muhammad. Kokar was charged with blasphemy and arrested later that day. But court evidence shows the original text message came from an unregistered mobile number that pertained to neither Kokar nor Aleem, sources said – exonerating Aleem, but also making it difficult to prove that Kokar framed him. Khushdil Khan Malik, deputy secretary of Pakistan’s Ministry of Human Rights, said he believes the judge implicated Kokar as a scapegoat for the blasphemy charges in order to appease the extremists.

Thoughts on ‘Islam is the Enemy’

John R. Houk
© May 13, 2010

Ben’s Blog brings a good point concerning the existent of Islam. I also believe Islam is an inherently wicked religion. Mohammed was evil. On the other hand I think the majority of Muslims have bought into "Islam is peaceful."

I believe the Islamic terrorism the world is seeing is actually a reform Islam movement to return to the example of Mohammed to conquer the world with the goal of establishing international Islam, BUT also that there is an agenda to allow some people not to be Islamic in order for a second rate class can exist to collect humiliating taxes designed to produce the image of protection but really is economic slavery designed to keep extortion revenue and a class of people to occasionally blame for woes that are actually the result of Islamic intolerance and dehumanization.

I realize that this is an extra-Quranic extrapolation; nonetheless at the very least Mohammed was interested in acquiring an empire of wealth utilizing his cult of theopolitical Islam as a vice grip to maintain a controlled stability of that which was conquered. It is probably disputable if Mohammed intended economic slavery via humiliation and dehumanization as a control method beyond conversion; however Mohammed’s example became the theopolitical basis for
managing conquered areas that fell to Islamic conquest.

Yet the clubhouses of the majority of Muslims blind their eyes to Mohammed's evolving saintliness to crazed bloodthirsty rapist. A majority of Muslims have convinced themselves that the Mohammed of his pre-Hijra Mecca days is the same persona lasting the rest of his life.

Free Speech for One is Free Speech Another

John R. Houk
© May 6, 2010

Ben’s Blog utilizes a SIOA video to bring to focus to the plight of Rifqa Bary. I have not updated her info in quite some time. Actually Ben’s post is not so much about Bary as it is a reminder of what Islam is capable toward Muslim Apostates, Christians and Westerners in general. The SIOA video is actually a promotion for funds to post ads on public transportation vehicles in major cities providing options to those wishing to leave Islam to counter the same agenda by American-Islamic organizations that have used the public transportation ad to promote joining Islam. Both situations should be protected by free speech; however Muslim-American organizations have attempted to pressure cities to remove the SIOA ads as offensive to Islam. Offensive: meaning inciting hate-speech thus a back door accusation of bigoted racism. Perhaps Christians should be offended that American-Islamic organizations are promoting Islam in a nation that over 70% of the people consider themselves Christians. Using the Muslim logic the Muslim ads promoting Islam would thus be offensive toward Christianity; ergo the Muslim-American organizations would be inciting hate-speech toward Christians entering the realm of racist bigotry against non-Muslims?

Of course accusing the promotion of Islam as bigoted is as ludicrous as calling ads that show a safe way to leave Islam is racist bigotry is ludicrous.

Jihad-in-Islam-by-Maududi

Ben’s Blog has produced yet another post to give us non-Muslims an understanding of Islam as progenerated in the 20th and 21st century by Muslim theo-ideologues. Ben focuses on Syed Abul A'ala Maududi. Apparently Maududi is one of the 20th century theopolitical philosophers that have a huge influence on present day Islam as promoted by such salafist offshoots like the Muslim Brotherhood and Wahhabis.

Prepare to enlighten your perception of Islam.

Brennan Counterterrorism Hubbub

John R. Houk
© April 7, 2010

John O. Brennan is Assistant to the President for Homeland Security and Counterterrorism which is a White House job. A White House job means Brennan’s appointment (Like Obama Czars) did not need Senate Confirmation.

From the brief research I have read on Brennan suggests he has credible credentials for his White House job. The research also suggests Brennan is a political opportunist. Why?

In the G.W. Bush Administration Brennan worked under CIA Director George Tenet and appeared to support many of the interrogation techniques supported by Tenet and the Bush Administration. This is to say Brennan supported enhanced (harsh) interrogation techniques to extract information from Islamic terrorists bent on destroying America while killing U.S. citizens along with their dream of Islamic domination.

Appeasement minded Leftists who are more concerned about the civil rights of America’s foreign enemies (and fifth column enemies) than they are for the lives of American men, women and children; love to call enhanced interrogation techniques torture.

Since Brennan appears to be a bit of a political opportunist, he has earned detractors across America’s political spectrum. The Left distrusts the guy because of his Bush/Tenet affiliation as well as being a defender of torture to extract security/defense information from Islamic terrorists. The Right distrusts the guy for joining the Obama team as an Intelligence campaign advisor, an Obama White House employee and as an Obama apologist supporting the current Obama Foreign Policy agenda.

With this in mind, one of my favorite bloggers has written criticism of George Brennan that you should explore.

Criticism of Newt’s Stand on Political Correctness

John R. Houk
© January 1, 2010

Ben believes Newt Gingrich is a hypocrite.

Ouch. Your observations are valid. I think your conclusion is a bit rough. Newt and Palin are victims of political correctness and yet also practice it. It is true it is hypocrisy. Unfortunately effective politics in America is rarely successful in black and white terms.

For Newt to step up to the plate to make an effort to spot light that political correctness is hampering National Security and American safety is a good thing. No one can seriously believe an American politician will step up to the plate and state the obvious - Islamic ideology is evil when compared to the American heritage of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. The concept of religious freedom is simply too ingrained in the American conscientiousness. It will take some time to bring an understanding to Americans that a religion is inherently evil in its core beliefs. There are simply too many Muslims who are brainwashed that their religion is a religion that brings inner peace (the so-called greater jihad that is deluded hogwash).

For Newt to begin the push toward putting a spot light on Islam is a huge politically incorrect gamble for him. Thus I say good for Newt in this instance. I am certain political correctness will have Newt make some not so great stands (Here is an example), but that is inevitable in American politics.

Homeland Security or Insecurity?

Ben of Ben’s Blog operates several blogs as many of us bloggers do including me. Many such blogs operate under a pseudonym to avoid be a target in their personal life. I suspect Ben may be a pseudonym. I mention this out of clarification rather than as an exposé.

Ben has written a post which demonstrates that organized Islamic terrorism is still trying to make hits on American soil. Home grown Islamic terrorism comparable to Major Nidal Hasan’s killing spree on American soil might be the result of an individual snapping at the perceived insult to Islam; however organized efforts representing foreign radical Muslims continues as well.

Ben’s Blog writes about such an occasion.

Palin is Finding Political Admirers

On October 6th I posted Bill Warner’s disdain for Lt. General Stanley McChrystal as the military leader in Afghanistan and Sarah Palin for a speech in Hong Kong that included her current thoughts on Islam.

Warner’s complaint is that these two do not have a grasp about the correct actuality about Muslim tenets to be in the positions they are either in or aspire to be in.

Another excellent writer exposing the tenets of Islam picked up on Warner’s piece and focused on the Palin’s Facebook description of her time in Hong Kong.
Ben’s Blog took Palin to task for her ignorance of Islam because she followed the politically correct path of Islam is not evil, terrorists are. Or anyway that is my take on a brief summary.

Ben is very specific and so I cannot fault his thinking; nonetheless I had some thoughts that I posted in the comment section:

Ben you would be surprised how many Conservative Republicans feel Sarah Palin is not bright enough for Higher Office. I am not one those Conservatives.

Palin's total lack of knowledge about Islam is not unique. Leftists and Conservatives alike tend to believe spoon fed information concerning the religion of evil. Would Palin find advisors in the know if indeed she runs for Higher Office? I pray that is the case.

Bush began with Islam is Islamofascism. Whether or not that is a good description of Islam is debatable however at the least it had the seeds of knowing Islam inspired violence and not peace. Then as Bush began to backtrack by describing Islam as the religion of peace. One has to think that Bush caved into State Department Republicans of the nature of James Baker and the deception of American-Islamic organizations such as CAIR.

As it stands now I believe Palin is flexible enough yet political enough to grasp the wickedness of Islam yet not having to commit to a public understanding of such an understanding. To publicly announce Islam is evil would be political suicide in America today.

That is one lesson Palin or any Conservative candidate can learn from President Barack Hussein Obama: Deny everything, promise what your followers and centrists want to hear and attack the attackers' credibility for criticism.

P.S.: No anger here. Palin definitely has to change her vision of Islam.

With those thoughts in mind I discovered an article at Investors.com concerning Palin’s time in Hong Kong that is more on the positive side.
