“joni” made a great comment about President Barack Hussein Obama that pretty much sums up his last eight years as a Leftist-in-Chief that has been very sympathetic toward Muslims who subscribe to a Salafist ideology.

I still sit in disbelief at the last 8 yrs. of our government, and what happened, in those 8 yrs. I have been a United States citizen, since birth, and followed politics a long time.

When Obama was elected president, a 12 yr. old boy, that I know said, "I can’t believe we just put a Muslim in the White House!". This from a 12 yr. old! Out of the mouth of babes!

I have never seen corruption, as evil, and blatant as with Obama, and his administration. With all the above scandals, people lost lives, but that is just a small amount compared to ALL the lives lost under Obama’s Presidency and Administration.

We must also look at ISIS, and the so-called "Arab Spring". At the time of Obama moving into our White House, our military was still pretty strong. Obama decimated it, and did so for his Arab brothers and sisters. Now, as we move down the time line, our military is not near what it should be. We could have stopped ISIS, years ago; and I get angry, thinking about it. Angry, because of all the lives that have been lost, in the “Caliphate” that islam has never given up on, and has seen a great rise, under the Presidency of Obama.

Imagine, if you will, our military strongest, in the world. And imagine another president in office, in the years Obama has been. What do you see? I see an end to ISIS, and all terrorist groups, before they got started! I see the U.S., and our allies (the ones we had before Obama) bombing, sending ground troops, and doing whatever it took, to stop the terror of terrorist. Not only would tens of thousands of our guy’s lives been saved, but the Muslims, living in these areas, as well. All of the innocent people, who just want to live peaceful, lives with their families, and not be told how they worship, or really, how they live.

Tens of thousands of these peoples' lives have been ended, because Obama did nothing.......unless it benefited his Islam friends. To this day, I still believe that Obama is a lying, racist, who holds Islam close to his heart.

He is still trying to gain approval, from a father, who didn’t have anything to do with him. In other words, a lost cause.

The media is just as bad, as Obama, and his Administration, and of course, let’s not leave out the Republicans. I hold them responsible, too.

They sat around, collecting their money, living with their security, in gated communities, and handed everything over to Obama, on a silver platter. We all know, this is why Trump won. And I thank God, he did, because America is still in a very bad state. It is going to take a lot of hard work to put it together again. So what do the Democrats do?

Instead of losing, like adults, they have made it known they are going to oppose Trump on everything! Who, are the losers, when that happens? The American citizens...... Obama has not only decimated our country, but the Democrat party, as well.

The sad thing is he isn’t going anywhere. He will stick his Muslim nose into all he can, and make as much trouble, as he can. God, help Trump put America back together again. And God, please keep us from falling asleep again, and putting an enemy in our White House.

 – Blog Editor: I have no clue who “joni” is. This is excellent! The only disagreement I have is labelling Obama as a Muslim. It is my belief that Obama is closer aligned to the Leftist paradigm of Marxism BUT has a large amount of sympathy toward Islam due to the way he was initially raised in Indonesia under a Muslim step-father. Making America Muslim through “Refugees”

A Muslim refugee will not ever be a long term friend as long as that Muslim is dedicated to the inerrancy of the Quran and reveres the Hadith and Sira which are essentially a collection of witness accounts of the actions and words of Mohammed. Paul Sutliff says a Muslim will act your as your friend – especially if he lives in a location in which Muslims are a significant minority. Islam tells its adherents to fool the non-Muslim (kafir) until he/she converts or the Muslim can assert an eventual majority stake in the population. Sutliff shows this Islamic fool than dominate paradigm is ethical in Islam theologically in English is called duality or dualism.

Islam is puzzling because it seems so contradictory. With contradictory statements in the Koran in regard to beating women, compulsion in religion, peace and jihad, torture and brutal punishments, one asks the question which statements are correct. The answer is that both are right. Islam is dualistic. It has whichever answer it needs when it needs it.

This another reason not to allow Muslim refugees or immigrants into America ESPECIALLY if those Muslims are devoted to Islam.

On April 14^th, the State Department issued a press release headlining that “The United States Contributes $421 Million to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.” The press release reveals the willful nature of the Obama administration to remake the United States into a Muslim country through outward hostility to its Department of Homeland Security and the FBI.

According to the State Department, the U.S. Government has now contribution to UNHCR to nearly $698 million to date in 2016. In 2015, the United States contributed more than $1.3 billion to UNHCR to support continuing and emergency programs around the world. This included nearly $352 million to UNHCR for the continuing role it plays in responding to the Syria crisis.

In addition, the Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) published How to Screen 600 Syrian Refugees a Day: A "Surge Operation" by Nayla Rush that tells you what the State Department is not telling you!

U.S. ambassador Alice Wells said…The temporary processing center… will run until April 28 and will process 10,000 refugees. It is part of "our effort to reach President Obama's directive to send 10,000 Syrian refugees to the United States by September 30, 2016, while also ensuring that every refugee accepted by the United States has been thoroughly screened and vetted through our rigorous security process."

 Six hundred interviews will take place at the center every day to meet that goal. Most of the 10,000 refugees will be resettled from Jordan despite the fact that all Syrian refugees are covered by the surge.

According to Ambassador Wells this expediting system to rush Syrian “refugees” to America began on February 1^st.  This means that they have had all of February, March and April to interview 600 persons a day, 5 days a week. 53 days since Easter and Presidents’ Day are two Federal holidays equates to 31,800 interviews to date as of April 15th.

Will America be flooded with Syrian Muslims as most of Europe is enduring today if President Obama keeps his promise to take a minimum of 10,000 Syrian Muslims as refugees? What will this like? What will it mean to American culture? 

We can answer that question by examining what is happening in Europe today.  This is what we can expect:

1.       Islamic Enclaves will be created where sharia is enforced. The United Kingdom’s former head of Equalities and Human Rights Commission said this week that  Muslims are establishing "nations within nations" throughout Europe for the purpose of not assimilating into the culture of their new countries.

Guy Millière pointed out in his article for the Gatestone Institute this week, Europe: Suicide by Jihad” the inconvenient fact that:

One of the organizers of the Paris bombings, Salah Abdeslam, was able to live peacefully in Molenbeek for four months until police decided to arrest him. Belgian police knew exactly where he was, but did nothing until French authorities asked them to. After his arrest, he was treated as a petty criminal. Police did not ask him anything about the jihadist networks with which he worked. Officers who interrogated him were ordered to be gentle. The people who hid him were not indicted.

 2. Muslims will portray themselves as good “Americans to non-Muslims.” Brussels jihadist attacker Osama Krayem was featured in a 2005 documentary, “Without Borders — A Film About Sport And Integration.” In this documentary Osama was shown to be an excellent example of integrations into Western Switzerland culture. However, just 10 years later he became one of the jihadists who attacked Brussels, Belgium. The reason for this “change” is that the duality in Islam requires saying and appearing one way to non-Muslims while supporting your Muslims Brothers and Sisters. The Koran reveals this duality when it says to the Muslim:

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as friends, they are but friends of each other. And whoever befriends them, then surely, he is one of them. (Surah 5: 51)

This order is given and backed up with other Islamic scriptures. The Tafsir Ibn Kathir vol. 3 pages 203-206 cover this in depth. Reading what Muslims tell other Muslims reveals a whole other world about Islam than what they tell us they believe. That is the duality. In Islam Allah is the “Great Deceiver” and war is won through deceit.

This means they will appear to be the greatest of friends but will stab the non-Muslim in the back when they feel safe to do so. When they move from a minority to a majority they will feel free to do what their Allah commands.

A British TV program ran a program that was created from an ICM poll that revealed many disturbing things about the growing population of Muslims in the UK.

3.  Muslims plan to commit Civilization Jihad They plan to take over through overpopulation by having more wives and babies than other Americans. This concept is so prevalent in Europe that people are now predicting that Denmark will soon cease to exist as a democracy in Europe and will be proclaimed an Islamic country soon.

This means infiltrating every level of government, schooling and society to prevent the truth about Islam from being told. (Read my Book: Civilization Jihad and the Myth of Moderate Islam)

4. Muslims will work to take away your free speech beginning with your ability to insult Allah and Muhammad. The White House was caught censoring another head of state on this issue last week! This action simply put the word Islamic and terrorism together!

Recently, President Obama met with French President François Hollande to discuss matters of international security. When footage posted on the White House website was discovered to be missing portions of Hollande's audio, the White House replied that a technical problem had led to the gap in audio. However, a closer examination of the footage shows that the audio footage was not accidentally missing and then restored; instead, it was deliberately removed and then replaced when the censorship was exposed. David Wood discusses the evidence.

This is the reality we face today!

Liberty or Big Brother Order - YOU Choose

Somehow (probably of my own doing) I have found myself on the mailing list of the Campaign for Liberty. Undoubtedly since I reside in the great State of Oklahoma, the national organization has funneled my name to the local State chapter. The Campaign for Liberty is plugged into the Conservative-Libertarian views of former Representative Ron Paul. I confess I have an affinity for Ron Paul’s policy reforms on a national level; however his foreign policy ideals are something I am in great disagreement.

I’m not real big on Ron Paul isolationist policies to manage the national budget in a more efficient manner. It is my belief once America relinquishes the reach of its military prowess, ideologies (the variations of Marxist-Socialist transnationalism), religions of hate (viz. Islam and Islamic Supremacist ideologies) and various reawakenings of foreign American-hating nationalism (e.g. Russia and Iran); THEN America’s National Security will be vulnerable to outside intrusions into our way of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

The thing is though, if America continues on the Left Wing path that Obama’s transformation agenda has sent we Americans, great turmoil will occur in our nation once the rest of the Americans awaken to the loss of the American way of Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. Once that awakening occurs then those who still are drawn to the Founding Fathers’ revolutionary paradigm will recall the words framed by Thomas Jefferson and signed by the representatives from Thirteen British-American Colonies demanding the bonds of tyranny from an unjust government be ended – by arms if necessary.

In that spirit I share this email not only with my fellow Oklahomans but also with the citizens of all these United States to take a moment and contemplate the posterity of American freedoms especially under the light of the Christian principles and morality those former Englishmen and other Europeans brought to the then British American Colonies to worship as freely as an equal to the Church of England.

It is time for Americans to unite under the Freedom and Liberty issues that draw us together and not to hold the slimmer issues in which we might be in variance to separate us. For example, I am not an isolationists. BUT a time may arise in which isolationism vs. international military power is rendered irrelevant in the face of any tyranny that threatens our moral Freedom, moral Liberty and our moral Common Good.

Statement of Principles

Americans inherit from our ancestors a glorious tradition of freedom and resistance to oppression.  Our country has long been admired by the rest of the world for her great example of liberty and prosperity—a light shining in the darkness of tyranny.

But many Americans today are frustrated.  The political choices they are offered give them no real choice at all.  For all their talk of "change," neither major political party as presently constituted challenges the status quo in any serious way.  Neither treats the Constitution with anything but contempt.  Neither offers any kind of change in monetary policy.  Neither wants to make the reductions in government that our crushing debt burden demands.  Neither talks about bringing American troops home not just from Iraq but from around the world.  Our country is going bankrupt, and none of these sensible proposals are even on the table.

This destructive bipartisan consensus has suffocated American political life for many years.  Anyone who tries to ask fundamental questions instead of cosmetic ones is ridiculed or ignored.

That is why the Campaign for Liberty was established: to highlight the neglected but common-sense principles we champion and reinsert them into the American political conversation.

The U.S. Constitution is at the heart of what the Campaign for Liberty stands for, since the very least we can demand of our government is fidelity to its own governing document.  Claims that our Constitution was meant to be a "living document" that judges may interpret as they please are fraudulent, incompatible with republican government, and without foundation in the constitutional text or the thinking of the Framers.  Thomas Jefferson spoke of binding our rulers down from mischief by the chains of the Constitution, and we are proud to follow in his distinguished lineage.

With our Founding Fathers, we also believe in a noninterventionist foreign policy.  Inspired by the old Robert Taft wing of the Republican Party, we are convinced that the American people cannot remain free and prosperous with 700 military bases around the world, troops in 130 countries, and a steady diet of war propaganda.  Our military overstretch is undermining our national defense and bankrupting our country.

We believe that the free market, reviled by people who do not understand it, is the most just and humane economic system and the greatest engine of prosperity the world has ever known.

We believe with Ludwig von Mises, Henry Hazlitt, and F.A. Hayek that central banking distorts economic decision making and misleads entrepreneurs into making unsound investments.  Hayek won the Nobel Prize for showing how central banks' interference with interest rates sets the stage for economic downturns.  And the central bank's ability to create money out of thin air transfers wealth from the most vulnerable to those with political pull, since it is the latter who receive the new money before the price increases it brings in its wake have yet occurred.  For economic and moral reasons, therefore, we join the great twentieth-century economists in opposing the Federal Reserve System, which has reduced the value of the dollar by 95 percent since it began in 1913.

We oppose the dehumanizing assumption that all issues that divide us must be settled at the federal level and forced on every American community, whether by activist judges, a power-hungry executive, or a meddling Congress.  We believe in the humane alternative of local self-government, as called for in our Constitution.

We oppose the transfer of American sovereignty to supranational organizations in which the American people possess no elected representatives.  Such compromises of our country's independence run counter to the principles of the American Revolution, which was fought on behalf of self-government and local control.  Most of these organizations have a terrible track record even on their own terms: how much poverty have the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund actually alleviated, for example?  The peoples of the world can interact with each other just fine in the absence of bureaucratic intermediaries that undermine their sovereignty.

We believe that freedom is an indivisible whole, and that it includes not only economic liberty but civil liberties and privacy rights as well, all of which are historic rights that our civilization has cherished from time immemorial.

Our stances on other issues can be deduced from these general principles.

Our country is ailing.  That is the bad news.  The good news is that the remedy is so simple and attractive: a return to the principles our Founders taught us.  Respect for the Constitution, the rule of law, individual liberty, sound money, and a noninterventionist foreign policy constitute the foundation of the Campaign for Liberty.

American Interests First

American interests must come first in any discussion on immigration and the illegal alien invasion at the core of the U.S. immigration policies, that are currently threatening U.S. national security, and most recently, our immigration crisis has been exacerbated by President Obama's failure to recognize his primary duty to protect the safety and economic well-being of all Americans. He ignores seventy percent of Americans, who do not welcome these illegal aliens, and he embraces the illegal aliens' concerns and views them as future Democratic voters, eligible for free legal aid, housing, education, health care and "amnesty", thus ensuring the complete fundamental transformation of America; demands from illegal aliens have no place in this discussion, if America is to survive as a nation.

On October 25th, Oliver Merino, whose mother faces deportation in North Carolina, held up a sign that read, "Hillary, do you stand with our immigrant families?"

Americans are sympathetic to the terrible situations others face worldwide, and we try to help where we can. Americans are even extremely welcoming to legal immigrants. But, if a person is here illegally, no matter if it's to provide for their children _ good reasons, they are still violating the laws of the United States and deserve no more consideration than a thief.

Many Latino leaders have demanded reassurances that Obama will not put off executive action that gives legal status to millions of illegal aliens currently in the U.S.  Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi and Representatives Luis V. Gutierrez (D-IL) and Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) make the case in an October 30th op-ed for Univision that "Congress and the Constitution give presidents broad authority to take executive action on immigration policy" and that the authority has been used by past presidents, however, this Congressionally delegated authority was only intended to supplement existing law; Obama's "amnesty would be violating existing U.S. statutes and making new law, which is not within the executive's Constitutional authority.

Obama knows that he must wait until after the November 4th elections, before unilaterally granting amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. This is such an unpopular potential "solution" to a manufactured immigration "crisis" that it would cost the Democrats a heavy political cost, especially in the hotly contested Senate races; however, White House officials have reassured frustrated Latino lawmakers, such as Representative Raul Grijalva (D-AZ), that Obama intends to take executive action before the end of the year. And, despite no official action from Obama, recent covert actions by the Obama administration reveal the proof of an impending Obama amnesty.

On October 3, 2014, the original Solicitation [order] #HSSCCG-14-R-00028 left the offices of Citizenship and Immigration Services [USCIS] and went through a Burlington, Vermont contracting office. This document requisitioned "Permanent Resident Cards [PRC] and Employment Authorization Cards ... for an estimated 4 million cards annually with the potential to buy 34 million cards total" over the next five years (point of contact _ ronald b. slater@uscis.dhs.gov. / phone: 8028724645).

A June 2014 article, by Steve Camarota and Karen Zeigler, illustrated that net job gains from 2000 to 2014 have gone to immigrants, legal and illegal, while natural born U.S. citizens accounted for two-thirds of the growth in the total working age population. And, in conjunction with this, studies like the one conducted by Harvard economist Dr. George Borjas also prove that American workers lose wages from illegal and legal immigration.

Along with concerns over jobs for U.S. citizens, Americans are concerned over a dangerous disease problem, as Americans saw hundreds of new cases of Enterovirus D-68 [about virus], heretofore uncommon, arrive with this summer's 65,000 border crashers, who did not receive any health inspections. They were dispersed across the country, and now American children are being paralyzed by this deadly disease, from Chicago to New Jersey and on to Kansas City, MO and Children's Mercy Hospital where five children have died.

According to Dr. Reichmann of the New Jersey Tuberculosis Clinic, "antibiotic strains of tuberculosis have migrated to the border states of Texas, Arizona, New Mexico and California. Since the 1990s cases among immigrants, legal and illegal, rose from 30% to 42%, and over the past three years, half of the 16,000 new cases of tuberculosis were found in illegal aliens.

Aside from health and economic woes, Americans are also witnessing an increased growth and expansion of third world microcosms in U.S. sovereign territory, due to Progressive multicultural policies and immigrant reluctance to become fluent in the English language. Nearly 62 million U.S. residents speak a foreign language at home, representing 21% of America's population, with 27 million of this number born in the U.S.

Steven Camarota, Director of Research at the Center for Immigration Studies offers this observation: "Allowing in over one million new legal immigrants a year and, to a lesser extent, tolerating illegal immigration has important implications for preserving a common language." It also has important implications for preserving a nation.

Why are you not insisting that the U.S. military be deployed to reinforce an overburdened Border Patrol along the southern border and that the U.S. immigration laws be enforced? How much does it cost all of us when a majority of Americans stay silent?

Kenneth Palinkas, president of the National Citizenship and Immigration Service union, recently told the 'Examiner', "We are still the rubber-stamp entry into the United States ... Whether it's the failure to uphold the public charge laws, the abuse of our asylum procedures, the admission of Islamist radicals, or visas for health risks, the taxpayers are being fleeced and public safety is being endangered on a daily basis."

Shortly after the revelation of the 34 million PRCs to be handed out by the Obama administration, Senate Budget Committee Chairman Jeff Sessions (R-AL) said, "This revelation provides startling confirmation of the crisis facing our Republic." Sessions accused Obama of "violation of plain statute", in a bid to "nullify the immigration laws of the United States and its sovereign people."

Americans must demand that Congress defund any "amnesty" executive order Obama might make, and Americans must call for the repeal of the 1965 Immigration Reform Act that injects over one million legal immigrants into the U.S. annually; demand that all immigration be halted temporarily, and tell Congressmen and Senators that before they worry about less fortunate foreign nationals, they need to consider the cost of their actions on the less fortunate of the United States, whose Constitution they have sworn to uphold.

Our Constitutional Republic, once a free republic, is failing through the ignorant, uneducated and ill-informed choices of its Congressmen, Senators and American voters, and it is also failing because many Americans are culpable and willful in their support of actions and policies that negatively impact America. Far too many Americans do not understand or do not care that Obama's Siren's call for the Progressive fundamental transformation of America is found nowhere in the principles that built America, and many do not care that this is being done by unconstitutional means.

There was a time when there existed fine, decent Democrats, liberal only in the classical sense, who loved America and worked for Her in a benevolent fashion. Senator Joe Lieberman (CT) was one such Democrat, who was a foreign policy hawk. Another such Democrat was Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson (WA _served from 1953-1983), who was a leading "anti-communist" hawk. But today, the Democratic Party and nearly all Democrats are ultra-socialist, right on the verge of being outright communists and fascists.

Democrats Kaye Hagan (NC), Mark Begich (Alaska), Mary Landrieu (LA), Mark Udall (CO), Jeanne Shaheen (NH) and many other Democrats are all currently distancing themselves from President Obama in preparation for the November 4th election. All of these Senators voted with Obama's agenda 95% of the time, according to the Congressional Quarterly Roll Call calculators. Voting for any Democratic leader is voting for the Progressive Movement's legislative agenda and Obama's fundamental transformation of America.

For six years America has careened through a sluggish economy worsened by Democrat economic policies advocated by Obama that come straight from Franklin Roosevelt's New Deal. They didn't work then and they haven't worked today, as we find approximately 100 million Americans now receiving government assistance of some sort.

Democrat policies from Roosevelt's era have been greatly expanded upon by the Progressives of Obama's new marxofascist based Democratic Party, because dependent people equal an easily controlled population. Many Americans on welfare today could have been productive, if only they had been encouraged to be independent. But, their entire lives the Democrats so convinced them that they could not succeed under the free market system and Adam Smith's Capitalism, which they never really tried. And this is immoral, but then immoral pretty well describes the entire Progressive platform of ideas.

Increasingly Americans are experiencing Progressive Democrats' tyranny, just as in California where Democrat Governor Jerry Brown and a Democrat supermajority in the legislature seized control of all ground water supplies in the state this past September, under the guise of conservation and due to a drought of their own making. More of these Agenda 21 based regulations are due to go into effect nationally in November, despite efforts to block them (HR5078), and they are setting the stage for the biggest land grab in U.S. history, in terms of power over land use, at the hands of Progressive Democrat bureaucratic political hacks and unelected despots.

President Obama can only use an Executive Order to supplement previously existing law passed by Congress, not to make new law in his current manner. When Obama issues Executive Orders, such as the Dream Act, that go astray of Constitutional limits and when bureaucracies, such as the EPA, are able to bind Americans through regulations, not law, it is extra-legal. One also is denied their Constitutional rights if forced to arbitrate any disputed matter through a bureaucrat, as this places administrative power above the law, side-stepping the courts and judges.

Along with Obama's boastful disregard for the Constitution, Obama and the Progressive Democrats have worked tirelessly to undermine Christianity and Our American Heritage, as witnessed by their support of homosexual "marriages" (nothing "gay" about it) and their assault on Hobby Lobby's position regarding birth control. They don't "mean well" and they don't give a damn about America or anything outside their Progressive ideology.

Disagree with the Democrat divisive platform and the opposition is accused of hatred: If you oppose illegal immigration, you hate Hispanics. If you have concerns about Islam in America, you hate Muslims. If you oppose Affirmative Action, you must hate blacks. And if you oppose "gay" marriage, you must hate homosexuals - "well - hmmm?" One out of four ain't bad. I'll let Ya'll figure it out. (Just joking folks - please, no hate mail).

Six years of Democratic failed policies have shown that voting for the Democratic Party is both foolish and dangerous for the nation. Our border patrol agents are used to nullify immigration law, allowing terrorists to cross our borders. The Justice Department now enforces U.S. law through race-based initiatives. Every vote for Obamacare and its death panels, the most destructive legislation in U.S. history, came from the Democratic Party. The Islamic State has set the Middle East ablaze due to Obama's and Democratic support of the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama's insistence on complete withdrawal from Iraq. And now, the incurable and deadly Ebola virus and previously eradicated diseases, like tuberculosis, are in America due Obama's "open borders" policy and his ideological idiocy.

But isn't this what Americans wanted after all - "Hope and Change"?

Americans themselves are largely responsible for their own misery. One hundred and eleven million eligible voters, 45%, stayed home in 2012, while 27.4% believed Obama's lies and pie in the sky promises and voted for "free" handouts and government benefits. 25.3% voted to be left alone by the government.

Incompetence has become the rule at many of the highest levels of government and in private businesses. Corporations like GM now seek protections and monopolies. Obama's and John Kerry's bungling will soon ensure that Iran has nuclear ICBMs, while the U.S. space program is compromised by its reliance on Russian, an old enemy renewing its adversarial position. It takes 10-15 years now to build a bridge that used to take 3 years, because of environmental studies required by the EPA. It takes an average of seven years to get a mining permit. And $7.2 trillion of new Obama debt has the U.S. debt at $17.8 trillion, undermining our fiscal responsibility to future generations.

Friederich Hayek, renowned economist, once remarked that having "seen millions voting themselves into complete dependence on a tyrant (Hitler) has made our generation understand that to choose one's government is not necessarily to secure one's freedom."

Thomas Jefferson, the third U.S. President, simply stated, "Educate and inform the whole mass of the people ... They are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."

Our Founding Fathers didn't expect government to control every aspect of the American people's lives, as Obama and the Progressives are now doing by using the IRS against political opponents and telling us what medical insurance we can purchase. The Founders had survived tyranny, and they wrote the Constitution as a promise to the American people that government would be kept out of our private lives. Nobody - not elected Progressive officials, not Obama - gets to dictate how we live our lives, and Americans can remain a free people, a republic, despite Obama's numerous lawless edicts and threats of one man rule, by sending the message in November that WE are restoring Our U.S. Constitution.

AND the only evolution today from violent jihad is the development of a deceptive Stealth Jihad against the West and the USA in particular. Should You Be Concerned?

Despite assurances to the contrary from our nation’s commander in chief, it turns out that global Jihad is thriving. And it constitutes a greater threat to our nation’s security today than at any time in history.

Should you be concerned?

Of course, the answer is “yes,” but with qualification.

The most imminent domestic threat to your life and property, statistically, emanates from the sociopathic drug/gang culture, which continues to metastasize on urban poverty plantations and is now spilling into suburban and rural communities. That threat has been cultivated for the last five decades by ruinous political and social policies that were, ostensibly, enacted to eradicate the poverty those policies institutionalized.

That notwithstanding, the elevated threat to your life from Islamic extremists should be a concern – not because the probability of being an individual victim of an Islamist assault will soon be higher than the drug/gang culture threat, but because the probability of being among the cumulative victims of a catastrophic attack on our homeland – be it conventional, nuclear or biological – is escalating largely unabated.

The 9/11 attack on our country was perpetrated by 19 al-Qa'ida operatives. Its immediate effects – the loss of lives and the longer-term economic impact – were devastating. It would only take five to 10 al-Qa'ida operatives to create destruction on a 100-fold scale, with a little help from Iran or other terror-sponsoring states.

How real is that threat?

Islamic terrorist groups are surging worldwide, including Jabhat al-Nusra, Boko Haram, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Taliban, Jamaat-e-Islami, Lashkar-e-Taiba, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Khorasan Group and now, front and center, ISIL, a.k.a. the Islamic State – all of which together constitute Jihadistan, that borderless nation of Islamic extremists aligned under the Qur'anic umbrella.

Currently there are many American Islamists actively fighting among the ranks of ISIL in the Middle East – and they have significant networks of support in the United States. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper concludes that the direct links between ISIL and those domestic networks has created “the most diverse array of threats and challenges as I’ve seen in my 50-plus years in the [intelligence] business.”

How did this surge get underway?

In 2012, amid the cascading failure of his domestic economic and social policies, Barack Obama centered his re-election campaign on his faux foreign policy successes, which were built upon the following two boasts: “Four years ago, I promised to end the war in Iraq. I did.” And “al-Qa'ida is on the run.”

The reality, however, is that Obama’s “hope and change” retreat from Iraq left a vacuum for the resurgence of a far more dangerous incarnation of Muslim terrorism under the ISIL label, which has displaced al-Qa'ida as the dominant asymmetric Islamic terrorist threat to the West.

Clearly, it is Obama’s foreign policy malfeasance that poses the greatest threat to U.S. national and homeland security.

So, is the Islamic State actually, well, Islamic?

Not according to Obama. While he subscribes to the hate-driven rhetoric of Afro-centric theology, six formative years of his early life were spent attending Islamic schools in Indonesia, and that has clearly influenced his discernment regarding Islam.

In his address to the UN this week, he declared, “We have reaffirmed again and again that the United States is not and never will be at war with Islam. Islam teaches peace.” That was a repeat from his address to the nation last week, when he claimed, “Let’s make two things clear: ISIL is not Islamic. … And ISIL is certainly not a state.”

Reasonable people may disagree on whether the Islamic State now occupying much of Syria and Iraq is, at least by the Western definition, a state, but it certainly is a state in the Jihadistan context given the Islamic World of the Qur'an recognizes no political borders.

But for Obama to suggest “ISIL is not Islamic” is flatly absurd. Why else are American taxpayers providing Islamist prisoners at Gitmo copies of the Qur'an and payer rugs?

It is equally asinine, of course, for Secretary of State John Kerry to perpetuate the lie that “Islam is the Religion of Peace™” by claiming, “We must continue to repudiate the gross distortion of Islam that ISIL is spreading.”

Their errant assertions prompted this rebuke from Islamic State spokesman Abu Muhammad al-Adnani: “[Obama and Kerry] turned into Islamic jurists, muftis, sheikhs and preachers, standing up for Islam and the Muslims, so it appears that they no longer have confidence in the ability or sincerity of their sorcerers…”

So, is Islamic Jihad really “Islamic”?

There are many excellent resources for understanding Islamic extremism and the rise of Islamic terrorism. But allow me to offer a brief overview of Islam and the schism that gave rise to global Islamic Jihad.

In 570 AD, Abū al-Qāsim Muhammad was born in Mecca (in modern-day Saudi Arabia). In the year 610, Muhammad went into the hills and claims to have received instruction from an angel to spend the next 22 years as the exclusive transcriber of Allah’s message, the Qur'an, which means “recitation.” Its 114 Surahs, or chapters, outline the religious, military, civil, social, commercial and legal systems of Islam. Most Muslims believe that Islam originated with the prophet Adam, and that Noah, Abraham, Moses and Jesus were Islamic prophets.

After Muhammad’s death in 632, Islam split into two factions, Sunni and Shi'ite – a split originating from a dispute about whether the religion should be led by strict adherence to the Qur'an, or led by Ali, the son-in-law of Muhammad. The Sunnis (from “Ahl al-Sunna,” meaning “people of the tradition”) bonded through Muslim orthodoxy. The Shias (from “Shiat Ali,” meaning “party of Ali”) were a political alliance formed around Muhammad’s descendant.

Despite the split, Islam thrived, and by the 17th century, a vast Muslim empire was controlled by a powerful military and was the cultural cradle of mathematics, architecture, art, law and science. But the rise of Western military power would divide and conquer the Muslim empire by the end of the 18th century, followed by European occupations of much of that former empire over the next century.

By the end of World War I, Islam’s Ottoman Empire was lost. Many Muslims adapted to Western culture, while some held to old Islamic traditions. But the re-constitution of the State of Israel in 1948 seeded a resurgence of Islamic fervor, a fervor that would unleash itself 30 years later under the watch of Jimmy Carter’s administration.

In 1979, the powerful and strategic state of Iran fell to the Islamic Revolution, and Shia cleric Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini returned to power. Student revolutionaries seized the U.S. embassy in Tehran, taking 52 Americans hostage, and that act galvanized both Shia and Sunni Islamist activists throughout the Middle East.

Today, Shia Muslims represent majorities only in Iran, Iraq and Bahrain.

But Islamic Jihad, including al-Qa'ida and subsequent terrorist groups, is rooted in Sunni orthodoxy. Sunnis represent about 85% of Muslims worldwide, including countries in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

So again, is Islamic Jihad “Islamic”? Indeed, it is.

 

The Suras of the Qur'an and the Hadith (Muhammad’s teachings) require jihad, or “holy war,” against all “the enemies of God.” For the record, orthodox Sunnis understand that these “infidels” include all Muslim or non-Muslim people who refute any teachings of Muhammad – which is why ISIL Sunnis are slaughtering Iraqi Shias.

It should be noted here that in the Old Testament of the Christian Bible, particularly the books of Deuteronomy and Joshua, the Israelites are instructed to destroy entire cities, including women and children. But unlike the Qur'an, these acts were isolated exceptions rather than the rule. The New Testament of Jesus is devoid of any such commands, and in fact is built on the maxim of loving our neighbors as we would want to be loved, including loving our enemies. There are clearly examples of atrocities in the last 2,000 years that have been carried out in the name of the church not God – including the Catholic Crusades, the Inquisition and the Encomienda System of forced labor and conversion in Spanish America. But every Christian Historian, Theologian and Preacher brands those actions as aberrations and contrary to the faith.

On the other hand, few Muslim leaders worldwide, brand Islamic Jihad, which is undertaken in the name of Allah, as contrary to the faith.

Rebutting Obama’s assertion that Islamic Jihad is disconnected from Islam, Hoover Institution Fellow Dennis Prager writes: “Killing ‘unbelievers’ has been part of – of course not all of – Islam since its inception. Within 10 years of Muhammad’s death Muslims had conquered and violently converted whole peoples from Iran to Egypt and from Yemen to Syria. Muslims have offered conquered people death or conversion since that time. … More than 600 years after Muhammad, Ibn Khaldun, the greatest Muslim writer who ever lived, explained why Islam is the superior religion in the most highly regarded Muslim work ever written, ‘Muqaddimah,’ or ‘Introduction to History’: ‘In the Muslim community, the holy war is religious duty, because of the universalism of the Muslim mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force.’”

Thus, if you’re among those who resist or refute Muhammad’s teachings, you’re a de facto enemy of Islam.

According to Muhammad in the Qur'anic verses, Allah commands, “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them.”

Do you refute any teachings of Muhammad?

Based on the Sunni Islamist history of violence, it is clear that Islam is not “the Religion of Peace,” though a significant percentage of Muslims worldwide, and in the U.S., do not subscribe to Islamist Jihad theology. But the number of Sunni Muslims who do support that totalitarian theology is staggering.

According to the Pew Research Center, there are 2.75 million Muslims in the U.S. today. Notably, about 90% of Muslims in America are Sunni. The Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Nation of Islam have now established more than 2,200 mosques, some of which have become hotbeds of support for Sunni Islamist extremists. The ethnic group with the fastest growing conversion rate to Islam is Latino – 12 million of whom are now in the U.S. illegally, and who continue to pour across our southern border.

Do any of those grim statistics concern you?

Obama declared to the UN, “When it comes to America and Islam, there is no ‘us’ and ‘them,’ there is only ‘us’ because millions of Muslim Americans are part of the fabric of our country.”

Do have less concern now?

At the conclusion of the American Revolutionary War, George Washington wrote that our nation has its roots in “the establishment of civil and religious liberty.”

Islam, on the other hand, is founded on the abolition of civil and religious liberty – which is to say it is diametrically opposed to the notion that Liberty is “endowed by our Creator.”
