Here is an example of the Mainstream Media (MSM) holding the Obama Administration accountable for its actions: “Fox News: What happened to its Benghazi exclusive?”
So this story in the Washington Post criticizes the Fox News story for not investing in the government view of what transpired at the Islamic terrorist attack in Benghazi? Sounds like a plus and not a reason to criticize Fox News. Perhaps WaPo and others should be more interested in finding whistleblowers as Fox News has in order to shine the light on the Obama Administration rather than rest in the darkness of blanket agreement with the Obama Administration, right?
The answer from the Left is “defend Obama at all costs.”
The Conservative and Counterjihad answer is “shine the light in darkness to expose the corruption and protect the integrity of the American people and Constitutional government.”
Obama, his minions and the MSM are covering up the details leading up to the Benghazi Massacre and are covering up the details of the decisions that allowed the Massacre to take place. President Obama was asked about his knowledge of not allowing witnesses to come forward to Congress. BHO responded that he was not aware of such activity. Then in another news conference Jay Carney was asked the same thing and he echoed the President’s answer.
Such a detail will come out because lawyers have gone public about the intimidation tactics. Plausible deniability simply will not hold up forever because as the legal system works even the MSM will to begin reporting accurately. A failure to report accurately will prove to Americans that the Left leaning media is completely unreliable.
For example even WaPo was forced to print the truth that the State Departments investigators responsible for the information that made up the ARB Report are coming under scrutiny by the Inspector General Office. In essence State Department investigators under then Hillary Clinton are being investigated!
Fox News and the Hill both report that the State Department has ordered an inspector general’s review of the work of the Benghazi Accountability Review Board (ARB).
Fox News, which broke the story, reports: “The IG’s office is said by well-placed sources to be seeking to determine whether the Accountability Review Board, or ARB — led by former U.N. Ambassador Thomas Pickering and former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Adm. Mike Mullen — failed to interview key witnesses who had asked to provide their accounts of the Benghazi attacks to the panel.” The report observes, “This disclosure marks a significant turn in the ongoing Benghazi case, as it calls into question the reliability of the blue-ribbon panel that then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton convened to review the entire matter. … Read the Rest (State investigates the Benghazi investigators; By Jennifer Rubin; Washington Post; 5/3/13 9:30 am)
If WaPo grudgingly begins to report the truth about Benghazigate then the President can now officially begin squirming ala Richard Nixon’s Watergate.

Details of Benghazi Massacre Cover Up Begin to Emerge
May 4, 2013
COMMENTARY | The Weekly Standard has an explosive article that seems to document how the Obama Administration sought to mislead Congress and the public about the events that led to the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, including a U.S. Ambassador.
The article documents how the official CIA talking points were altered in an attempt to soften the political impact of the Benghazi Massacre in advance of the 2012 elections. For example references to Al Qaeda affiliated involvement were deleted and references to an "attack" were replaced by the word "demonstration." References to jihadist surveillance of the Benghazi consulate and attacks by terrorists on other foreign interests in Libya were also expunged. The final version of the talking points suggested that the Benghazi Massacre was a spontaneous reaction to protests then going on in Cairo and not a planned attack.
All of this led to UN Ambassador Susan Rice's assertion, based on the revised talking points, on the Sunday morning talk shows, that the Benghazi Massacre was inspired by a incendiary YouTube video that denigrated that Islamic Prophet Mohammed. But when the narrative began to fall apart, the Obama administration pointed its fingers at the intelligence community, accusing it of providing false information, even though it was the administration that pressured the CIA into altering the talking points to begin with.
All of this leads to the inescapable conclusion that the Obama administration sought to cover up the true nature of the Benghazi Massacre, including the now known fact that it was a planned attack by an Al Qaeda affiliated group. Coupled with the assertions by an unidentified special operator on Fox News that, contrary to administration claims, there were military assets that were available that might have saved Ambassador Chris Stevens and his companions, Benghazi is shaping up to be a Watergate with a body count.
Also the Weekly Standard notes, "--the State Department's inspector general acknowledged that the office would be investigating the production of the Administrative Review Board report on the attacks because of concerns that investigators did not speak to a broad spectrum of individuals with knowledge of the attack and its aftermath."
The House Oversight and Government Reform committee will conduct further hearings on the matter. How high up the cover up goes, whether it involves former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton or even President Obama, has yet to be determined.
