SlantRight Observation: There are four links of note. The first link is about self-described Liberal Marxist Muslim Tarek Fatah proclaiming the Obama Administration has been infiltrated by the Muslim Brotherhood. For me Tarek Fatah is a bit of an enigma. How does one reconcile anti-religious Marxism with the theo-political religion of Islam? Of course Fatah is coming across that radical Islam is hijacking Islam. My opinion is that radical Islam is the actual reformist movement of Islam which calls for a return to the purist days of Islam as guided by the “perfect” man Mohammed and the first Rightly Guided Caliphs that succeeded Mohammed. Even so-called Moderate Islam will call the good old days of Islam in the formative years of the Quran, Hadith and Sira as the holy days to aspire to; however the so-called Moderate Islam is in denial about the truth of its brutal past in spreading Islam by conquest and civilization transformation.

So what does Tarek Fatah stand for in his representation of a good Islam? How does Fatah actually reconcile Marxist transformation and Islamic Submission? I am not saying Fatah is inaccurate in his denunciation of the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama Administration infiltration. The denunciation is a welcome politically incorrect public stand from a Canadian Muslim that will get himself in trouble with Muslim apologists and Leftist multicultural diversity supporters.

This first link is all about the Muslim Brotherhood and Obama. The last three links are about Governor Perry being in close interaction with radical Muslim groups that deceptively claim they are representative of so-called Moderate Islam.

Frankly I just took a bit of a step away from Governor Rick Perry.

Instead, it’s Canadian political activist, devout Muslim and self-described liberal Marxist, Tarek Fatah. Surprised?

Back in June, Fatah appeared at Ideacity, Canada’s “Premier meeting of the minds” to share his shocking viewpoints on both mainstream and radical Islam (including the Muslim Brotherhood). During his fascinating talk, Fatah said that “the religion of Islam is being used as a tool by a fascist force.” It is important to note that Fatah is also a Muslim. Perhaps most shocking, though, were his words about the Muslim Brotherhood and its relation to the American presidency. He said:

“Instead of bringing victory over the fascist forces of the Muslim Brotherhood, we now recognize that their infiltration is right up to the American White House, but we can’t say that.”

Some questions have been raised about Rick Perry's views on Islam. Islamic infiltration into American politics means that every candidate deserves close scrutiny. My purpose is not to attack Perry, but to conduct a preliminary discussion of the subject. Pamela Geller and Debbie Schlussel have written their own articles, which add more pieces to the puzzle. As with every candidate, the discussion will go on as more materials are brought forward.

First of all it's important to recognize that the Rick Perry question, is also the Chris Christie question, it's the question that comes with every governor from a state with a large and politically active Muslim population. This question will have more serious implications as the size of the Muslim population expands even further.

The multicultural pandering that used to be associated with the Tammany Hall political machine has become second nature in American politics. There is hardly a governor who does not pay lip service to diversity or do roundups of all the religious groups in America. That's an unfortunate reality.

The initial good news is that Rick Perry did not try to influence the judicial system on behalf of a member of a terrorist organization, or appoint a terrorist Imam's political affiliate to a superior court judgeship the way that Christie did.

The worst thing he seems to have done is played footsie with the Aga Khan and appointed one of his people to the State Health Council. He also seems to have met with a group of black clergy, which included a Nation of Islam minister, and made the usual trips to Dubai to talk up trade and academic exchanges.

Then there's the Texas Halal Law, which makes it a criminal offense to sell Halal and non-Halal meat in the same store, without specifically labeling the two, and of misrepresenting non-Halal meat as being Halal. In theory that's not such a big deal. Similar laws are on the books for Kosher meat. But the problem comes with the definition of what Halal is.

"Halal," as applied to food, means food prepared and served in conformity with Islamic religious requirements according to a recognized Islamic authority.

And so it’s in that vein that I can’t understand the fascination by some normally good people with Rick Perry.  My friend, Michael Reagan–who normally gets it on the Islamic threat–endorsed Perry for President.  And, when he announces his candidacy for the White House, thousands of Christians who get the Islamic threat to America will support his bid.  That’s despite the fact that Perry is close with open Islamic terrorism supporter, Palestinian extremist Farouk Shami, who bragged that his father killed many innocent Jews in Israel.  And it’s despite the fact that the HAMAS financier and unindicated HAMAS co-conspirator in Islamic terrorism, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) Action Network is having allahgasms over Perry.  If they support him, it’s a good reason to oppose this Republi-dhimmi.

Any (and every) candidate who hopes to win the Republican nomination and, ultimately, the presidency must understand the threat of the stealth jihad. It's not rocket science -- and it is apparent to every living breathing American who self-informs. Perry is a useful idiot in this -- and his failings are too monumental and damaging to be ignored.

But Perry has been sucked into the propaganda vortex, and is now wielding his enormous power to influence changes in the schoolrooms and in the curricula to reflect a sharia compliant version of Islam.  He is a friend of the Aga Khan, the multimillionaire head of the Ismailis, a Shi'ite sect of Islam that today proclaims its nonviolence but in ages past was the sect that gave rise to the Assassins.  Perry has concluded at least two cooperation agreements between the state of Texas and the Ismailis, including a comprehensive program to feed children in Texas public schools and taqiyya nonsense about how Islam is a religion of peace.  Another agreement stipulates that Texas officials will work with the Ismailis in the "fields of education, health sciences, natural disaster preparedness and recovery, culture and the environment." Perry let on that this was all about whitewashing Islam's bloody historical and modern-day record: "traditional Western education speaks little of the influence of Muslim scientists, scholars, throughout history, and for that matter the cultural treasures that stand today in testament to their wisdom."

It gets worse. Last March, Perry gave a speech in Dallas in the company of Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform. Norquist was close to George W. Bush, and Perry's anti-tax, anti-Big Government rhetoric sounds like it's right out of Norquist's playbook.  But there is a dark side to Norquist as well: Norquist's ties to Islamic supremacists and jihadists have been known for years.  He and his Palestinian wife, Samah Alrayyes -- who was director of communications for his Islamic Free Market Institute until they married in 2005 -- are very active in "Muslim outreach." Six weeks after 9/11, The New Republic ran an exposé explaining how Norquist arranged for George W. Bush to meet with fifteen Islamic supremacists at the White House on September 26, 2001 -- to show how Muslims rejected terrorism.

Ezra Levant with Tarek Fatah

Listening to people like Tarek Fatah is one of the reasons why I go back and forth about the existence of moderate Islam. On the other hand I am quite certain that those that would designate them self as a moderate Muslim would condemn Mr. Fatah as being too liberal. At any rate this interview between Ezra Levant and Tarek Fatah demonstrates the hypocrisy that is rampant in Islam especially in nations in which Islam dominates society.

Muslim Fifth Column in U.S. Government Exposé

WorldNetDaily sent a link to an article that demonstrates the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) has infiltrated the U.S. government on a greater scale than most comprehend. MB infiltration has gone on through a number of Presidential Administrations; however high level placement of MB associated or openly MB sympathetic Muslims has taken place under the Obama Administration.

Now why in the world would President Obama be so in tank with radical Muslim ideology attending a Christian Denomination that has a penchant Progressive Christianity and the Marxism of Black Liberation Theology (BLT)?

Here are some guesses:

1.   BHO was raised among Muslims until his Grandparents began to raise him in Hawaii.

2.   BHO attended a Church heavily involved in the racist-Marxist teachings of BLT.

3.   BHO apparently had Black Superiority drilled into thought patterns along with Progressive Christianity which meant Biblical spirituality is a Whitey invention.

4.   BHO has no affinity for Biblical Christianity thus desires a societal transformation along Socialistic/Marxist terms that must attack Biblical Christianity in order to emphasize the transformation.

5.   BHO’s Progressive-BLT Christianity allows for pushing Islam and its Sharia Law to denigrate Biblical Christianity. One can perhaps see BHO thinking with his association to Louis Farrakhan of Nation Islam.

I would describe BHO as a Progressive Christian steeped heavily in Secular Humanism. BHO was under the tutelage Rev. Jeremiah Wright for a couple of decades. Rev. Wright is a Black racist at worst and a Black Supremacist at best. Although BHO would deny being influenced by negative aspects of Wright because of political correctness, I have no doubts the President harbors his mentor Wright’s world view.

BHO’s apparent reckless regard for the Muslim Brotherhood goes a long way to explain why some cities in America force their employees including the police to attend a Mosque in the name of multicultural diversity training. This practice seriously violates the First Amendment by forcing an individual to attend a religious service that is contrary to his belief system. In the case of Tulsa Police Department Officer Paul Fields, he was ordered to attend a police appreciation day at the radical Mosque Islamic Society of Tulsa. Fields refused to attend and TPD police Chief Chuck Jordan demoted and suspended Fields without pay.

When one finally apprehends the realization Islam has nothing in common with the American way of life, which began to develop with the experimentation of the Revolutionary War and the approval of the U.S. Constitution including the first ten Amendments, then one will realize Islamic authoritarianism and Islamic dualistic ethics cannot work in America.

Is WND reporting on MB infiltration based on own investigations? Not this time. WND is reporting the words of former FBI John Guandolo (Read about Guandolo at this SEG about page) and what WND calls a Muslim reformer named Tarek Fatah.

Islam is a Jew-Hating Religion

Andrew Bostom demonstrates that if there is a difference between Islam and Islamism it is a very thin line. Bostom’s point of discussion is taking issue that Muslim Tarek Fatah is an example of a majority of so-called moderate Muslims who condemn Islamist violence (i.e. terrorism). Islam is beneficent to Islam. Islam is beyond what a moderate Muslim will lead a Westerner to believe.

Tarek Fatah has managed to acquire an image of a moderate Muslim academician. Moderate implies non-violent and abhorrent of violence committed by Islamic (or is it Islamist?) terrorists. A moderate Muslim implies that Islam is not inimical to Western ways of Liberty and Freedom which also imply a moderate Muslim would not embark on a path to the practice of racism. The reality is Islam and Western culture cannot co-exist peacefully even on a secular multicultural diversity level because Islam is a theo-political supremacist religion that has intolerant violence embedded in writings considered holy by Muslims. This embedded violent intolerance is particularly manifested as racist Jew-hatred.

Tarek Fatah has been caught partaking in this Jew-hatred in his Islamic Supremacist tirade against Wafa Sultan for speaking the truth about Islam at a Jewish Synagogue in Toronto, Canada. According to Joanne Hill, Fatah’s editorial went so far as to misquote and mislead concerning the tenor of Sultan’s words. This attack on Sultan by Fatah essentially proved Sultan’s statement about Islam:

“There is no moderate Islam.”

Although Sultan was quoting the Turkish Prime Minister, it is an accurate statement if a Muslim is following the tenets of Islam as prescribed by their Prophet Mohammed. If a Muslim is diluting Mohammed’s theological dictates, only then can one accept the existence of a moderate Islam. As long as Mohammed’s Medina mindset which changed to violence and murder is part of Islam there is no Moderate Islam. This would be more than an Islamic Reformation; it would have to be an Islamic Transformation. I cannot think of any acclaimed moderate Muslims willing to promote a transformation. The closest I have seen are Muslims who wish to be looked upon as reform minded. Reform in a religion (e.g. the Protestant Reformation) has the mindset of returning as close as possible to the purity of its earliest days. In essence the Muslims who have been labeled Islamists or radical Islam are the reformers. Islamists wish Islam to return to its earlier blood thirsty days of Mohammed and the early post-Mohammed blood thirsty conquest days that actually stretched until European empire-colonialism began to push back against a culture that failed modernize along with its non-Muslim rivals.

Tarek Fatah’s tirade against Wafa Sultan is reminiscent of that old racist Islamic Supremacism. Fatah was so upset that Jewish Avi Benlolo spent twenty minutes after Sultan spoke to calm an upset Fatah. Here is Joanne Hill’s description:

Why was Avi Benlolo required to spend at least 20 minutes after the debate placating the hurt feelings and smoothing the ruffled feathers of a self-described "hardened secular Muslim" who is supposed to be on the side of freedom of religion and freedom of speech?

I see at the bottom of Mr. Fatah's article that his upcoming book is entitled, Unveiling the Myths that Fuel Muslim Anti- Semitism. On the night of the debate, Mr. Fatah informed Avi Benlolo (in my presence) without a trace of irony that his new book was going to be called, Why We Hate Jews.

Hmm … Does Fatah’s response sound like a moderate Muslim in which Westerners pray a majority of Muslims should be indicative of? No! It sounds like the Jew-Hatred embedded in Islamic holy writings.

Silencing the Jews, Redux

My essay on Mr. Fatah’s diatribe against the Canadian Jewish community, and Jews at large, appears in Pajamas Media today. Fatah, hailed as “a paragon of secularism and moderation,” makes plain his desire to impose Islamic blasphemy law on Jews. This is hardly surprising, given the supremacist nature of mainstream, classical Islamic doctrine and practice for over a millennium, through the present era, as the great Orientalist Gustave von Grunebaum observed in 1971:

Islam is interested in making the world safe for Islam, in getting Islam into the controlling position and making it possible for Islam to be practiced perfectly, completely, and without any danger of controversion or subversion wherever Islam wishes to be practiced.

I am one who has wavered on the existence of a moderate Islam. Fatah’s diatribe against goes a long way toward moving me into the column of: “there is no moderate Islam.”

Update added: I was searching for a photo of Tarek Fatah to use on other blogs I post at. I came across a critical article of Fatah written by a Muslim at MuslimMatters.org. The writer is upset that Westerners paint a picture of Fatah being a mainstream moderate Muslim. The writer claims Fatah is representative of fringe Islam and is un-Islamic. The article ends with:

Who represents mainstream Muslims then?

Many. Find someone at CAIR, ISNA, ICNA, MAS, TDC. I think the media has gotten it right a few times with Hamza Yusuf, Zaid Shakir. But we need more of Ingrid Mattsons too. More of Siraj Wahhajs. More of Yasir Qadhis, Johari Maliks. More of Yasser Fazaqas, more of Suhaib Webbs, more of Usama Hasans, more of Mohamed AlShareefs, more of any of the Sunni Shayookh, the Shayookh of deobandis, tablighis, ahl-hadith, ikhwanis, more of any of the signatories of the Sunni Pledge and even beyond. Why? Because most Muslims are confident that these scholars have two important foundations, even if everyone doesn’t agree on ALL their opinions: (1) a firm understanding of the religion and (2) more or less in line with the mainstream Sunni opinions.

The writer for MuslimMatters.org emphasizes that these people and organizations are representative of mainstream Islam. The fact is the organizations mentioned all have ties to either the Muslim Brotherhood (Ikhwan) and/or Islamic terrorists. This means the organizations (I haven’t research the individuals) are actually representative of enemies of Western culture that are described as radical Islam or Islamism.

It would seem that Tarek Fatah has raised the ire of those that expose the truth of Islam and the devotees of Islam’s holy writings.
