GOP Convention: Sandmann on MSM Fake News & Johnson Exposes Baby-Killers

John R. Houk

Nicholas Sandmann was in a Catholic High School in Kentucky when a made a Pro-Life school trip to Washington DC. While at the Lincoln Memorial a group of racist members of the radicalized Black Hebrew Nationalists (ironically one focus of hate are Jews ergo Black Hebrew Nationalists has zero to do with Judaism), then enter elderly Native American Nathan Phillips (not associated with Black Hebrews) was lionized as a hero by the MSM while the Pro-Life teen from Kentucky was demonized as a White racist. Phillips definitely tried to agitate Sandmann. THE PROBLEM: The MSM LIED to smear a Trump-supporting kid.

Thank God Sandmann and his family had the cajones to stand up to LEFTIST LIES. To date under the legal counsel of L. Lin Wood a number of defamation lawsuits have been filed against:

§  ABC News
§  NBC News
§  CBS News
§  the New York Times
§  Gannett
§  Twitter
§  Rolling Stone
§  CNN
§  Washington Post

The later two was for $275 million (CNN) and $250 million (Washington Post) were settled out of Court for an undisclosed amount.

This defamed Nicholas Sandmann made of one the best speeches at the Republican National Convention that I heard. I don’t watch MSM news outlets anymore so I am unaware if any actually aired the Sandmann speech. If you didn’t catch it, HERE IT IS:

Today will be Day Four of the Republican National Convention that I am convinced will culminate with a stirring President Trump speech. And there have been some great speeches in support of a Trump reelection. But this Pro-Life speech from Day Two by Abby Johnson shows just how murderous Dems supporting unborn Baby-Killing are. And Johnson assures listeners the stench of Baby-Murder will increase under a Biden/Harris Administration. WATCH WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT:

Christie Crooked Hillary Indictment Speech

John R. Houk
© July 21, 2016

On Fox News I heard a couple of minutes of Chris Christie’s speech at the Cleveland 2016 GOP National Convention. I was fired up with just a couple of minutes. So I wanted listen to Governor Christie’s entire speech. GLORTY TO GOD! Governor Christie needs tp be the next Attorney General of the United States under the Administration of a President Donald Trump!

Below is the entire roughly 15-minute speech Governor Christie’s Crooked Hillary indictment Speech. Then I am following that with an article that has the entire speech in print format – just to allow that speech to sink in.

CLEVELAND  — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie spoke to the Republican National Convention Tuesday night in Cleveland.

Here's the prepared text of the governor's speech:

I am here tonight not only as the Governor of New Jersey, but also as Donald Trump's friend for the last fourteen years.

We are about to be led by not only a strong leader but by a caring, genuine and decent person.

I am proud to say that the voice of the people of our nation is being heard in this hall and those voices want Donald Trump to be the next President of the United States. But this election is not just about Donald Trump.

It is also about his Democratic opponent, Hillary Rodham Clinton.

In the past few weeks we have seen this Justice Department refuse to prosecute her.

Over the last eight years, we have seen this Administration refuse to hold her accountable for her dismal record as Secretary of State.

Well, tonight, as a former federal prosecutor, I welcome the opportunity to hold her accountable for her performance and her character.

We must present those facts to you, a jury of her peers, both in this hall and in living rooms around our nation.

Since the Justice Department refuses to allow you to render a verdict, let's present the case now, on the facts, against Hillary Clinton. She was America's chief diplomat. Look around at the violence and danger in our world today every region of the world has been infected with her flawed judgment.

But let me be specific so you can render your verdict. In North Africa, she was the chief engineer of our disastrous overthrow of Qaddafi in Libya.

Libya today after Hillary Clinton's grand strategy? Libya's economy in ruins, death and violence in the streets and ISIS now dominating the country.

Hillary Clinton, as a failure for ruining Libya and creating a nest for terrorist activity by ISIS guilty or not guilty? In Nigeria, Hillary Clinton amazingly fought for two years to keep an Al-Qaeda affiliate off the terrorist watch list.

What happened because of this reckless action by the candidate who is the self proclaimed champion of women around the world? These terrorists abducted hundreds of innocent young girls two years ago.

These schoolgirls are still missing today.

What was the solution from the Obama/Clinton team? A hashtag campaign! Hillary Clinton, as an apologist for an Al-Qaeda affiliate in Nigeria resulting in the capture of innocent young women guilty or not guilty? She fights for the wrong people.

She doesn't fight for us. She doesn't get the real threats America faces. In China, Hillary Clinton praised the Chinese government for buying our debt to finance President Obama's bloated stimulus plan.

So desperate for Chinese cash, she promised to oppose the Buy American provision in the stimulus bill in exchange for the cash to finance his huge expansion of government spending.

Hillary Clinton, putting big government spending financed by the Chinese ahead of jobs for middle class Americans guilty or not guilty? In Syria, she called President Assad a "reformer" and a "different kind of leader".

With 400,000 now dead ... think about that.

Four.

Hundred.

Thousand. Dead.

At the hands of the man Hillary defended.

We must ask this question: Hillary Clinton, as an awful judge of the character of a dictator-butcher in the Middle East guilty or not guilty? In Iran, she led the negotiations that brought about the worst nuclear deal in history.

Let me be clear: America and the world are measurably less safe and less respected because of the Iran deal Hillary helped cut.

Period. After she launched those negotiations, she became the biggest cheerleader for it at the end.

A deal that will lead to a nuclear Iran, an Israel that will be less safe and secure and much more dangerous Middle East.

Hillary Clinton, as an inept negotiator of the worst nuclear arms deal in American history guilty or not guilty? In Russia, she went to the Kremlin on her very first visit and gave them the symbolic reset button.

The button should have read, "delete" she is very good at that because she deleted in four years what it took 40 years to build. The next year, she said our goal was to strengthen Russia.

Strengthen an adversary led by a dictator who dreams of reassembling the old Soviet empire? What a dangerous lack of judgment.

Once again, as a flawed evaluator of dictators and failed strategist who has permitted Russia back in as a major player in the Middle East is Hillary Clinton guilty or not guilty? In Cuba, Hillary Clinton supported concessions to the Castro brothers and got almost nothing in return for ending the embargo.

She supported a deal that didn't even require this murderous regime to return a cop killer, JoAnne Chesimard, to face justice.

Chesimard murdered a New Jersey State Trooper in cold blood, fled to Cuba and lives there to this very day.

How do you live with your own conscience when you reward a domestic terrorist with continued safety and betray the family of fallen police officer waiting for decades for justice for his murder? Hillary Clinton as coddler of the brutal Castro brothers and betrayer of the family of fallen Trooper Werner Foerster guilty or not guilty?

Finally, here at home, in one of her first decisions as Secretary of State, she set up a private e-mail server in her basement in violation of our national security.

Lets face it: Hillary Clinton cared more about protecting her own secrets than she did about protecting America's secrets.

Then she lied about it over and over again.

She said there was no marked classified information on her server.

The FBI Director said that was untrue.

She said that she did not email any classified information. The FBI Director said that was untrue.

She said all work related emails were sent back to the State Department.

The FBI Director said that was untrue.

As to Hillary Clinton, putting herself ahead of America guilty or not guilty?

Hillary Clinton, lying to the American people about her selfish, awful judgment guilty or not guilty? Time after time the facts, and just the facts, lead you to the same verdict both around the world and at home.

In Libya and Nigeria guilty.

In China and Syria guilty.

In Iran and Russia and Cuba guilty.

And here at home on risking America's secrets to keep her own and lying to cover it all upguilty. Her focus group tested persona, with no genuineness to be found, is a sham meant to obscure all the facts and leave you able to vote for her. We cannot promote someone to Commander-in-Chief who has made the world a more violent and dangerous place with every bad judgment she has made.

We cannot make the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of the United States someone who has risked America's secrets and lied about this to Congress and the American people.

We didn't disqualify Hillary Clinton to be President of the United States the facts of her life and career disqualifies her. We in this hall agree with all of this.

But I want to talk to all of you at home, in your living rooms. You are the ones who will decide this election. We have an alternative.

We have a man who is unafraid.

We have a man who wants to lead us.

We have a man who understands the frustrations and the aspirations of our fellow citizens.

We have a man who judges people based on their performance regardless of your gender, race, ethnic or religious background. We do not need to settle for less.

We cannot reward incompetence and deceit. We need to demand more than what Hillary Clinton offers for America.

We know exactly what four years of Hillary Clinton will bring: all the failures of the Obama years, but with less charm and more lies. It is our obligation to stop Hillary Clinton now and never let her within 10 miles of the White House again.

It is time to come together and make sure that Donald Trump is our next President.

I am proud to be part of this team.

Now let's go win this thing."

3 Comments Against Suissa ‘dump Trump’ Article

Ari Bussel is a frequent contributor on my blog. This submission is about three comments to an anti-Trump post in the Jewish Journal by David Suissa. The three comments are pro-Trump. The third comment is penned by Ari Bussel. If you read this blog you are probably aware that I have been in Trump’s corner since Senator Ted Cruz looked at the math, realized he could not secure the GOP nomination and so dropped (or suspended) out of the nomination race. I am a Trumper primarily because the alternative is crooked Hillary, one of the most corrupt American politicians next President Barack Obama and former President Slick-Willie Clinton.

Ari’s submission includes the anti-Trump post entitled “Republicans must dump Trump”. Ari placed the article at the end of the comments, but if you want to know what the three comments are defending against you may wish to scroll down and read the Suissa article first.

Republicans must dump Trump

[COMMENTS] In the order they were written:

1) Lily Steiner (lilily@earthlink.net):

David SHAME ON YOU! Do you not understand who 'We the people' are? Do you have so much disdain for people that do not agree with you? Do you have to be right to the exclusion of the Democratic process? Is your ego so huge that just because you have taken a vendetta to Trump anyone that does not also see it is wrong? Has it ever occurred to you that you may be, perhaps, just a little wrong yourself? Do you care nothing about a free and democratic election? Can you not even entertain that you are one of the elitists causing the problems. Do you not understand that the SILENT MAJORITY, who do not usually even vote, have taken the time and trouble to leave their chairs and couches and go out and show their support for a candidate they can finally support?

I don't know how we have survived almost 8 years of the current leadership, and in fact we have not yet, as he has deeply and widely embedded Islamists into every department and level of government in a way, only someone like Trump can weed out.

But you of all people David, the wonderful father that you are, MUST understand that to raise a family as good and supportive and respectful and dedicated to a father like Trump, especially after 2 failed marriages, that type of father, that type of man cannot even come close to your close minded description of his character. The Trump kids, who grew up in wealth and privilege and the pain of 2 divorces, are exemplary citizens, ALL OF THEM, and totally support and respect their father. Do you in any way question that as their foundation and nurturer he could be anything but a man of solid values and integrity? You've raised many kids, you know the challenges, and how they turned out could only be a testament to his moral fiber.

All men have egos, and Trumps main challenge is that he is not a smooth charismatic speaker. So yes, you elitists will jump on media extracted sound bites that paint him so negatively, but take the time to see the substance of his 'straight from the hip, unfiltered' comments and you will not see lines of insulted workers of all backgrounds waiting to add their stories of the despicable boss they had, you will find stories and comments of a man that treated everyone fairly and equally.

When the media tried to show how awful he was to women, you had those same women come out and support him, showing the media, the folks you are supporting, to be totally biased with a lack of integrity to the truth. Now you, David, join them too!

You have created the most shameful column you have ever written. You besmirched the good character of a man who doesn't need the power or aggravation or home or airplane that come with this office. Trump is running because he really does want to MAKE AMERICA GREAT again. With all the votes on the ground and support of all the We The People, not acknowledging him as the Republican Candidate shows you to have a TOTAL DISREGARD for the democracy we enjoy. I respect your disapproval of Trump, even though it does diminish you in my eyes, but I respect your right to your opinion. Your suggestion that we overthrow the democratic process because you feel you are smarter than the rest of us, is just plain ego on your part, far more vulgar than anything you describe in Trump.

2) Paul Schnee (sch290@hotmail.com):

During the last 12 months nobody has won any money betting against Donald Trump. As I understand it the gravamen of Mr. Suissa's argument is that some method should be found to deny the will of the primary voters either before or at the Republican convention in July. This suggestion would have been more beneficially applied to Obama's candidacy in 2008. Had it been successful the likelihood of a populist Trump candidacy, which seems to horrify Mr. Suissa even more than the 8 mirthless, poisonous and treacherous years of Obama's presidency, would have been remote. Denying the will of the people is a conceit of the political elite as Prime Minister Cameron just discovered on Thursday.

Those conservatives and Republicans who will not support Donald Trump because they imagine themselves to be too politically pure, too morally superior, too well educated and too sophisticated because they consider Trump to be an unprincipled quasi-liberal vulgarian are committing a costly form of sanctimony which will hand over America and the Supreme Court to a political party which has abandoned Israel, supports the hate-group, Black Lives Matter, and whose members have moved so far to the left they would be unable to see the center if they were standing on top of a ladder looking through a pair of binoculars.

3) Ari Bussel (bussel@me.com):

Dear David,

Good writing evokes emotions and transfers the piece from the writer to the reader.

I am not going to say you are misguided, wrong or otherwise delusional.  I have read at least two lengthy comments to that effect.  Quite on the contrary, I immensely enjoyed, as always, reading your column.  The comments show that people read your column and that what you write affects them, sufficiently to drive them to engage in a discussion with you and/or with the piece.

I wonder, and you might too, of all the very many columns you have written this year, is that the single most “profound” or “comment-enticing” one.  Time will tell.  And your readers may think differently than you (each holds a different column of a writer as “most memorable”).

I would say, though, that had your “Dump Trump" been published a few weeks ago, it would have been timely, suggestive and thought-provoking.  As it is now, it is stale, outdated and plain sour.

The current timing is similar to all those Britons who, moments after the final Brexit results were announced, started calling for another vote, and will likely demand another and another … until their vote is the one that prevails!  Two million, three million and the count is rising.  But how many of them voted to separate in the first place?

You admit that “Love him or hate him, the man has earned his delegates.”  You do not question the process; you simply do not like the results. Thus, you call to tailor new regulations, just so that we can change what is truly rightfully earned and fait accompli.

You care not that you undermine the integrity of the process, and that is exactly how Democrats today behave; as if they are the owners of the process, and the process must therefore fit itself to them.

You advocate somewhat similar to Ehud Barak’s call, at present time in Israel, for a “rebellion” or an “uprising” or anything of the sort, simply because he does not like the current government and/or because he is desperate seeing the “Left,” of which he is a part, evaporating to non-existence.  [I wonder what would happen if I were to use the same about the sitting President of the United States.  “Ousting” or “Rising Against” or anything similar, and I might find myself - in a best case scenario - in a jail cell, keys thrown to oblivion.]

You further suggest to Republican leaders to take the long view, the high road and to set an example.  You say, inter alia:

Republican leaders must say to America, "We have decided that Donald Trump is so far out of line that we can't in good conscience support him. Even if we have to bear the wrath of his supporters, divide our party and forfeit the election, we will encourage delegates to go in another direction."

Since when did party leaders - Democrats or Republicans - do the right thing?  They care about one thing, and one thing only - perpetuating the status quo:  immense power and wealth, corruption and politics all concentrated in their hands.

Out of necessity - like the Israelites at the Red Sea, with the Egyptians fast approaching - Republican leaders finally understood the demand of (everyday) Republicans - we, the (simple) people, those who have a single, legitimate vote - and internalized the call to stop “Washington Politics.”  Further they understood (not so much by choice, but by sheer and overwhelming reality) that if the party is to survive, they must unite and reflect the people; not the comforts of the status quo where they rule and “let the people be damned!”  Thus you call for them to do the right thing; they have already done so.

In Biblical times, Nachshon jumped into the raging waters.  In current day Washingtonian politics, it was the Speaker of the House who was last remaining at the edge of the cliff, refusing to jump to save the institution, the party and himself.  He had no choice but to finally relent as well.

Once Paul Ryan announced he will vote together the entire party behind its presumptive nominee, the last fort of opposition to the New Reality has fallen.  Had your column appeared until that moment, it would be a wonderful, thought-provoking, reality-questioning piece.

But as it was published after that tipping point, it is nothing but a lamentation of a sore loser; and I know you are not.

Imagine a similar column published moments after the Berlin Wall was toppled on 11/9/1989 or at the time President Reagan said, on 6/12/1987, “Tear Down This Wall!”  Timing - all the difference in the world.

DJT might be a narcissist, but what is new under the sun?  Are we not completing eight years under another similar narcissist (“it is my way, and only my way!”), simply from the other side of the aisle?  The difference is that with one we had to undergo eight long years of subjugating everything we hold dear (from the Constitution, tumbled under his feet, to the medical care we used to get to anything else that was “life in America” before BHO) to him, and you seem to be afraid of the next four years of “narcissism break[ing] loose.”

Anything - either Clinton or Trump - will be better than what we have endured thus far.  As a Republican all my life, and for the sake of America, I hope it will be DJT.  My vote will be for him.

Always,

Ari Bussel

Republicans must dump Trump
By David Suissa

It's bad enough when a narcissist is so full of himself that even a defeat can't humble him. Win or lose, he's always right. Imagine, then, what happens when an extreme narcissist starts to win, and wins big. All narcissism breaks loose. He goes from being drunk on his greatness to being totally plastered.

This is what is happening to Donald Trump.

He has passed the drunken phase. His stunning victories in the Republican primaries, his endless media exposure and his raucous rallies have become like cocaine-heroin speedballs to the part of his brain that triggers his ego. Blinded by self-love, he has doubled down on his offensiveness and recklessness.

His critics inside the Republican party say, "What did you expect? This is who Trump is." But I think it's worse than that.

What we're seeing now is Trump becoming more and more Trumpish, a man so hypnotized by his own success that he can't see himself unraveling (with a 70 percent disapproval rating). He can hire and fire advisers, but it won't help, because he can't help himself.

If Trump pulls off a miracle and wins the White House, we will have an unhinged leader of the free world, intoxicated by his greatness, prone to even more recklessness.

But even if he loses, which is more likely, we will still have to brave another few months of Trumpian bile. Come November, there won't be anyone left to offend. We will all need a National Detox Day.

Among the many fallouts of this cringe-inducing year is how Trump's crassness has overshadowed some genuine grievances among his working-class voters. Many of them feel, rightfully, that the economic recovery has left them behind and the Washington establishment has ignored them.

Some Trump voters also are tired of seeing their country getting ripped off, whether by a badly run war in Iraq that squandered $3 trillion, a badly negotiated nuclear deal that empowered a terror-sponsoring Iran, or unfair trade agreements that have cost American jobs.

The great GOP tragedy of 2016 is that it was a vulgar and divisive circus clown who figured out how to tap into many of those grievances.

In the beginning, many of us saw the Trump phenomenon as a harmless and amusing sideshow. Now, we see it is contaminating a party -- and a nation.

That's why Republicans must do everything they can to dump the Trumpster.

This is no longer about partisan politics; it's about defending the honor of our country. As Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said recently, "There'll come a time when the love of country will trump hatred of Hillary."

With their convention only a month away, for Republicans that time is now. Trump's beyond-the-pale behavior justifies looking for every possible angle in the playbook to allow delegates to nominate another candidate.

Yes, it'll be messy, but as John Fund writes in National Review Online, there are expert opinions in support of freeing up the delegates:

"Curly Haugland, a member of both the Republican National Committee and the convention's Rules Committee, has co-authored with Sean Parnell a persuasive mini-book, 'Unbound: The Conscience of a Republican Delegate,' to make the case that delegates to the GOP convention are free to vote their conscience."

Denying Trump the nomination is a long shot, to be sure. Love him or hate him, the man has earned his delegates. Still, this is one of those torturous moments when one imperative overrides another. If there is a legitimate way to replace Trump with another candidate, it must be tried.

Republican leaders must say to America, "We have decided that Donald Trump is so far out of line that we can't in good conscience support him. Even if we have to bear the wrath of his supporters, divide our party and forfeit the election, we will encourage delegates to go in another direction."

Politicians and operatives inside the GOP who have mocked and criticized Trump but are nevertheless supporting him are simply proving his point about the cronyism of the political class. The only way they can salvage their integrity is to throw themselves at the mercy of principle and work to replace him.

This would be good not only for America -- in the long run, it also would be good for the Republican Party.

"There will always be other Trumps until Republicans decide to make defeating Trumpism a cause, even if that means short-term losses," former Democratic speechwriter Jon Favreau writes on The Ringer website. "If the party does not become more welcoming and inclusive, young people and other voters will tune it out."

Donald Trump is too narcissistic to learn from his experience, either in victory or in failure. The Republican Party cannot afford to become like him.

Personal Memo: The Road to the Convention

Brokered Convention 2012
Newt is counting on a Brokered Convention to win the GOP nomination. A Brokered Convention is incumbent on Romney not acquiring the minimum amount of delegates to take the nomination by Convention time.

On Super Tuesday I voted for Rick Santorum who did win my State.

I got to tell you though, if Newt did have a chance to win a Brokered Convention I would go with it.

On the other hand the social values of Rick Santorum are something to get behind. I am guessing there would have to be a large amount of back room dealing in a Brokered Convention for Newt to pull out a nomination; however dealing is something Newt has experience in as a former Speaker under a Left oriented President Clinton.

Personal Memo: The Road to the Convention

From Rick Tyler
Sent: March 21, 2012 3:50 PM

Can Newt still win the Republican nomination?

Yes.

Is he still the only candidate who can beat Barack Obama?

Most definitely.

I am writing to you today because I know you to be among those who have closely followed Newt Gingrich. I have known Newt for many years. It was a great privilege to have served as his spokesman for over a decade.

Since late last year I have been working with a small team that makes up the Winning Our Future Super PAC, a team solely dedicated to helping Newt secure the Republican nomination for President of the United States. Working with such a loyal group of supporters has been a great and tremendously challenging experience.

Recently, many in the mainstream media have essentially dismissed Newt's campaign. You may have been tempted to do the same. But let me tell you why I believe that this race is far from over.

First, a short history lesson. For decades prior to Newt's election to Congress from the Sixth District of Georgia, the Republican Party was a regional party and not a national party. But Newt believed that our nation is conservative and that the GOP could once again become a governing party if it adhered to conservative principles. But first we needed to recruit and train candidates that could run as conservatives. To do that, Newt developed courses for GOPAC to teach Republican candidates to win elected offices throughout the country. But he did not stop there. Newt understood that helping our candidates to get to Congress would require a strong network of local grassroots support. Newt spent a great deal of time helping local, county and state parties organize, recruit the right candidates and raise money. Then in 1994, he successfully nationalized the Congressional races with a set of bold ideas contained within the 'Contract with America'. The result was a stunning victory for Republicans creating the first majority in both the House and the Senate in forty years.

The reason the election of 1994 was so successful was the power of ideas that inspired a nation. Nine-million MORE voters turned out for Republicans than did in the last off-year elections in 1990 while at the same time, one-million FEWER voters showed up to vote for Democrats. That was a ten-million vote swing in favor of the GOP.

When elected, Speaker Gingrich:

·         Formed the Conservative Opportunity Society in the Congress, which still meets today to shape public policy based upon conservative principles.

·         Took on President Bill Clinton and the Democratic Party directly.

·         Led the charge to balance the Federal Budget cutting both taxes and spending.

·         Strengthened the military and reformed Welfare.

·         Helped the private sector create 11 million jobs with pro-growth economic policies. During his speakership, the Dow Jones rose over 130% and the NASDAQ rose over 180%.

Compare this success to what is going on in the race for the Republican nomination today.

The front-runner Mitt Romney has steadfastly refused to run an issues-based campaign.  Instead, he has engaged in a scorched-earth strategy outspending his competitors by tens of millions of dollars running false ads against his Republican opponents. These negative ads have had a devastating effect on voter enthusiasm and turnout. Remember, the key to winning majorities in 1994 is directly related to inspiring voters to turn out for a positive set of ideas. Mitt Romney has eviscerated the enthusiasm the Republicans had just a few short months ago. We simply cannot beat Barack Obama with depressed turn-outs.

Romney has offered nothing to inspire voters. His strategy is rooted in the fact that he does not have a conservative record to run on.

As a US Senate candidate in 1994, Romney ran against the Contract with America and the conservative agenda.

He ran to the left of Senator Ted Kennedy and lost badly. In fact, he was the only Republican Senate challenger to lose that year. As a candidate for governor of Massachusetts, Romney said that it was a burden to run with an R attached to your name.

He called his views "progressive".

As governor, he enforced the nation's strictest and unconstitutional gun-control laws. He supported pro-abortion laws including the radical position of giving a judge authority to overrule the parents of a minor daughter seeking an abortion. He appointed pro-abortion judges. His state was 47th in job growth. He passed "Romneycare" which included a health insurance mandate, the forerunner to "Obamacare". He supported the radical environmentalists' job-killing cap and trade policy. Romney left the governor's office in disgrace. More than half the voters believed he did a poor or very poor job.

But more recently and perhaps most disturbingly, Romney revealed his true colors as a nanny-state politician when he condemned the poor to a cycle of government dependency and hopelessness declaring on CNN that he did not worry about the poor, the government takes care of them.

No wonder he only runs ads tearing down his competitors. Romney does not want you to know his record.

All in all, Romney is not us.

He has never been with us because he simply does not believe in the America we believe in. That's why he sounds so disingenuous; it's because he is. He does not believe what he says most of the time. Romney has failed to wrap up the nomination because the conservative base will not support him - the same base WE will need to beat Obama.

Then there is Rick Santorum.

He initially looked like a candidate Conservatives could like. But a look at his record shows he was often at odds with conservative ideas. When Santorum first ran in 1990, he said he "danced around" the issue of abortion because he was for most of his adult life up until that point, pro-choice. He modified his position when he found out that more voters in his district were pro-life.

He described himself as a "progressive conservative" which is, not only an oxymoron, but completely ignorant and irreconcilable.

Any conservative with any sense of history and judgment could not possibly describe himself as a progressive. Just to make the point, it was the progressive movement that promoted eugenics which, when repudiated, morphed into the pro-abortion movement.

The progressives also gave us Prohibition. That is the same thinking of the people who are now telling us today what we can and cannot eat.

Santorum supported Arlan Spector for President.

Spector was one of the most ardent pro-abortion members of the US Senate yet Santorum endorsed him for President in 1996. Santorum also endorsed Spector for his reelection over conservative Pat Toomy. Santorum said that Spector could be counted on for the votes where we needed him to be with us. But Spector was the deciding vote for Obamacare. So while Romney invented it, Rick Santorum, it can be said, gave it to us by supporting Spector's reelection. Spector, as you know, went on to switch to the Democratic Party.

So much for us counting on him.

Santorum, like Romney, is a big-government Republican.

He once claimed credit for saving the Food Stamp program. He voted for Medicare Part D, a program bigger than Obamacare. He voted to raise the debt ceiling five times. He voted twice to force FedEx to unionize. He voted against "Right to Work" and anything else the union bosses told him to vote for or against. He voted for Planned Parenthood funding even when he said he didn't support it. He voted for the "bridge to nowhere". His success in getting earmarks is legendary, a legacy he says he's proud of.

In fact, when Santorum was in the Senate leadership, government spending continued to explode and yet he provided no leadership to stop it. His mantra was and is “go along to get along" because he's a team player. He may be that, but he is no leader. And let's not forget, in 2006, he ran to the left of Bob Casey. Like Romney, he thought the key to getting reelected was to run as a moderate. He lost his Senate seat in Pennsylvania, the same state Romney is currently beating him in, by 18 percentage points -- a modern-day record defeat.

Here is why I am writing to you and why I don't want you to give up on Newt.

I am not going to attempt to persuade you that the challenge is not great. It is. But Newt can still win.

But, let's look at the current reality.

Newt is far behind in the delegate count according to the mainstream media.

But many of those delegates that they are counting have not even been selected yet.

Romney's challenge remains getting the required number of delegates needed to secure the nomination. Today, that looks increasingly unlikely if Newt stays in the race.

Despite what the pundits are saying, Romney needs Newt to exit this race as soon as possible so he can eliminate Rick Santorum. If that happens he will likely get enough delegates to win and wrap it up.

Santorum simply cannot beat Romney in a one-on-one contest. Santorum needs Newt to stay in the race to deny Romney as many delegates as possible to keep him from getting the required number of delegates before the Republican National Convention in Tampa. If that happens then Romney would fail to get enough votes on the first ballot to secure the nomination. After losing the first ballot, all the delegates are released and can vote for any candidate they choose.

In that scenario, Newt has a very good chance of winning the nomination.

Remember, the delegates at the convention are not casual observers. They know the history of all the candidates. They know Romney is not a conservative. He did not govern as one and would not. They know Rick Santorum did nothing to stop the spending spree in Washington and was absent without leadership when conservatives needed him.

They also know that it was Newt Gingrich who led the way in shaping our party to go toe to toe against liberal Democrats, not by accommodating them but by beating them with conservative policies.

They know that Newt has a proven track record of increasing voter enthusiasm and turnout. They know he would beat Barack Obama in a debate and on election day in November.

Given that choice, I believe the delegates will do the right thing and nominate Newt Gingrich.

Today, our Party has tried to recapture the conservative spirit it had when Newt was Speaker by forming the Tea Party, a direct challenge to the establishment. It was the Tea Party after all that led the way to recapturing the majority in the US House in 2010. It was not the GOP establishment. They are still active today and will be a force at the convention.

If the Republican delegates in 1976 picked Ronald Reagan over the establishment's candidate, Gerald Ford, we would not have suffered through four years of Carter. In August, if the delegates pick Newt, we will not have to suffer four more years of Barack Obama.

It can happen. In fact, it is likely to happen.

But to ensure it does, I need you to continue to believe in Newt and his ideas of energy independence, job growth, free enterprise and prosperity. While the other candidates and the media focus on trivia, Newt will continue to focus on the issues that matter to our future.

For Newt's entire career, which you already know, he has taken on what for virtually every other politician goes into the "too hard" file.

He led the GOP to being a governing majority when no one thought it could happen.

He led the fight for tax cuts, spending cuts, Welfare Reform and a balanced budget when the establishment said it was too hard.

Washington cannot intimidate Newt.

He is the only candidate with a record of standing up to Washington, which is why the establishment is working so hard to defeat him.

He is the only candidate who knows how to energize voters to turn out.

And most importantly, he is the only candidate capable of defeating Barack Obama in the fall.

These are serious times and require an experienced and serious leader.

If you are in a state that has not voted, please vote for Newt and help get others to do the same. We need as many delegates in Tampa as possible to win a brokered convention.

Consider running for delegate yourself.

Some say a brokered convention is bad for the Party, but what is bad for the Party is to give it over to the moderate establishment who, as in years past, will lead us to defeat.

Newt showed us how we can win and be a governing majority and he did it by running and governing on conservative values.

If you can financially help it would be a big help to Newt, we would be grateful. You can do so by clicking the donate button below.

And while I am asking for money, it is not my main objective in writing to you.

I am writing to you personally to ask you again to believe in Newt and our conservative movement. We can beat Barack Obama in the fall but it will take the right candidate with a solid conservative record - someone who has worked tirelessly for decades to make the Republican Party competitive by representing conservative values.

It's time to choose Newt Gingrich to be our nominee. Please go to TimetoChoose.com and join us.

Sincerely,

Rick Tyler
