Chick-Fil Shows How Religious Freedoms Are Being Lost
Ann Matos got my attention commenting on an article by Thomas Messner who writes that the Leftist and Homosexual activist attack on the Family Values promoted by Chick-Fil-A.
Messner’s point is that all the Leftist talk to ban Chick-Fil-A is just one more symptom of utilizing political power and money-sucking litigation to force Christians to be quiet about Biblical Morality.
Friends that is so evil that I can say that is Satanic.

Chick-Fil Shows How Religious Freedoms Are Being Lost

Use the above link to read a chilling article how Christians who express their conscience are being placed under legal, cultural and economic pressure to recant. I feel these are signs of the end times and may indeed be unstoppable. However, for the sake of our nation, for what it once was, for what it can be again, I haven't yet given up hope that this situation can be reversed. After all, when Jonah went to Ninevah, they repented. Who knows? Maybe we will yet have a great revival -- a time of renewed Christian committment (sic), as Billy Graham prays for. I still believe ... ... ...

Chick-fil-A Latest Example of How Same-Sex Marriage Threatens Religious Freedom
July 30, 2012 at 3:30 pm
Same-sex marriage combined with nondiscrimination policies will result in significant discrimination against individuals and institutions that hold to the belief that marriage is—and should be defined in law as—the union of one man and one woman.
In the latest illustration of how this will happen, a Chickkago alderman recently explained that he plans to block the Chickkken restaurant Chick-fil-A from building a new restaurant in his ward because he is offended by the belief of the company’s owners that marriage is between one man and one woman.
“There are consequences for one’s actions, statements and beliefs,” the official stated. “Because of this man’s ignorance, I will deny Chick-fil-A a permit to open a restaurant in my ward.”
Under pressure, this official might attempt to alter his rationale for targeting Chick-fil-A—or even back down altogether like the mayor of Boston did when he was criticized for targeting Chick-fil-A in his city.
However it turns out, though, the Chick-fil-A situation certainly adds to the growing list of cases illustrating how individuals and institutions that continue to support marriage as one man and one woman will likely face a variety of significant burdens:
§ A Christian photographer in New Mexico who refused to photograph a same-sex commitment ceremony was hauled before a human rights tribunal and forced to pay nearly $6,700 in attorneys’ fees to the complainant;
§ Christian charities have been forced to stop providing foster care and adoption services because they cannot in good conscience comply with laws that would require them to violate beliefs about marriage and family;
§ Boy Scouts of America has lost equal access to public facilities and programs because of its position on open homosexuality;
§ A graduate student claims that she was expelled from a public university counseling program after she conscientiously objected to counseling a potential client seeking assistance regarding a homosexual relationship; and
§ A Christian organization at a public university was denied official recognition because it required officers and voting members to adhere to traditional Christian teachings, including a prohibition on extramarital sex.
This is not “live and let live.” This is the state—and sometimes private citizens and the culture at large—punishing people who refuse to recant their belief that marriage is the union of a husband and wife.
This kind of thing happens because proponents of same-sex marriage declare support for marriage as one man and one woman to be a form of irrational prejudice and bigotry similar to racism. In this view, support for marriage as one man and one woman is the kind of belief that should be purged from public life through legal, cultural, and economic pressure.
This is precisely what is happening right now to Chick-fil-A.
Defending marriage takes courage. For more stories of people who have demonstrated courage in standing for marriage as one man and one woman, visit the website of the Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance, a group that stands up for people who stand up for marriage.

Answer the Census, or else, II
I told you all one year ago about my little encounter with the Census. Now they've come back.
I was wondering if any of you have heard about The American Community Survey [SlantRight Editor: Click HERE to read another encounter American Community Survey Agents from January 2010] being conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau? I was wondering because I've received the survey packet. I've never heard about it, so for those of you who haven't, I'm going to give you a peak at what's in it.
I got the packet then tossed it out. Then I ended up getting phone calls every day about it from the Census Bureau. Then I got another one in the mail. So I opened it up.
There's some info about it on Wiki at http://tinyurl.com/bt24zk.
The About flyer in the packet says the survey "collects information about population and housing characteristics for the nation, states, cities, counties, metro areas, and communities on a continuous basis."
"Communities need data about the well-being of children, families, and the older population to provide services to them. By responding, you are helping your community to establish goals, identify problems and solutions, and measure the performance of programs."
"The data also are used to decide where to locate new highways, schools, hospitals, and community centers; to show a large corporation that a town has the workforce the company needs; and in many other ways."
B***s**t.
The Census Bureau (the Census) counts population to determine the number of people in the country and to determine Congressional representation. That's it.
It also reads, "Your response to this survey is required by law." That may be true, but the U.S. government does not determine where to build hospitals or schools or help businesses relocate. So it’s b***s***t.
The "traffic" and "build roads" excuse is b***s***t, too, because cities get traffic counts either by deploying those black cables across the road lanes that counts the hits or by new computerized methods using traffic cameras. And besides, it isn't a federal issue. None of these questions are.
The Census isn't supposed to ask your name, either. In fact, the envelope was addressed to me as "Resident." So if that's true, why does this survey ask my name? Not only that, it asks a lot of really specific questions. This is nothing but Big Brother and a violation of my privacy.
I've included below what those questions are. To keep it short (yeah, I know) I didn't include all of them, and those I included are paraphrased. A few of them were so offensive that I quoted them for your amazement. I'm only going to answer the "Date" and the "Number of persons living there." That's all they need to know, which I already answered the first time last year.
Please take a look at these questions. While reading them please ask yourself: Why are they really asking these questions and why we should be compelled to answer them?
Thanks,
-NG

My "Thought Crime" series is usually about the ultra-Left's (now mainstream) homosexual agenda against our freedoms as Americans and their attempts to silence and oppress Christians through Political Correctness, intimidation, propaganda and legislation.
But in this message I'm adding some news articles and videos regarding related topics, such as the ultra-Left's targeting of our other freedoms with the same tactics, such as our 1st and 2nd Amendment freedoms.
Once again, I'm very sorry about the length.

A message from Eugene Delgaudio
President of the Public Advocate
Chick-fil-A, Crimes Against Humanity?
Dear Friend,
Chick-fil-A, one of the largest fast-food businesses in the U.S. provides jobs to some 50,000 employees and serves millions of customers at 1,500 outlets across the country. An American success story, wouldn't you agree? So, what's the problem?
Well, Chick-fil-A is run by Christians who believe in the godliness of marriage and family. In fact, the official statement of purpose is "to glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with Chick-fil-A."
And the company proves it by investing generously in community service initiatives such as scholarships, summer camps for children and teens, foster care, and marriage enrichment programs. But according to recent homosexual blogs, Chick-fil-A's corporate principles constitute a crime against humanity.
When it was reported that a Chick-fil-A in Pennsylvania agreed to donate sandwiches and brownies for a marriage seminar sponsored by the Pennsylvania Family Institute, which happens to oppose same-sex marriage, homosexual activists went into full swing.
Dutifully, the rank and file waged war against Chick-fil-A calling for boycotts, intimidating college campuses into banning the business, and cruelly calling it "Jesus Chicken."
I am telling you all of this to let you know that the threat to the family is real... and relentless. Simply put, the homosexual agenda begins with destroying the family. From there, it's just a domino effect, and they will continue to tear down all decency in our society. But together, you and I are working to prevent that from happening.
So, thank you for standing with me, and Public Advocate. I know you believe, as I do, that our families are worth it. If you can, today, please make the most generous contribution you can afford.

Please go research the "Student Non-Discrimination Act." [You might have better luck researching Homosexual Classroom Act.]
The Radical Homosexuals infiltrating the United States Congress have a plan:
Indoctrinate an entire generation of American children with pro-homosexual propaganda and eliminate traditional values from American society.
Their ultimate dream is to create a new America based on sexual promiscuity in which the values you and I cherish are long forgotten.
I hate to admit it, but if they pass the deceptively named "Student Non-Discrimination Act," that's exactly what they'll do.
Better named the "Homosexual Classrooms Act," its chief advocate in Congress is Rep. Jared Polis, himself an open homosexual and radical activist.
the Homosexual Classrooms Act contains a laundry list of anti-family provisions that will:
*** Require schools to teach appalling homosexual acts so "homosexual students" don't feel "singled out" during already explicit sex-ed classes;
*** Spin impressionable students in a whirlwind of sexual confusion and misinformation, even peer pressure to "experiment" with the homosexual "lifestyle;"
*** Exempt homosexual students from punishment for propositioning, harassing, or even sexually assaulting their classmates, as part of their specially-protected right to "freedom of self-expression;"
*** Force private and even religious schools to teach a pro-homosexual curriculum and purge any reference to religion if a student claims it creates a "hostile learning environment" for homosexual students.
And that's just the beginning of the Homosexual Lobby's radical agenda.
Please oppose the Student Non-Discrimination Act. It was introduced into Congress in 2010 but did not finally pass. Actually it didn't come up for a vote because of more pressing legislation. But it can be introduced again, and I have no doubt it will.
