To Love and Let Live

 

If you are an American Patriot there is the glaring appearance Liberty and Freedom is evaporating like a dissipating mist that even history might brush aside into non-existence.

 

I would not have considered this thought in my early Christian Born-Again days, but life under Dem-Marxism eerily has the appearance of the warnings of Matthew 24 and the Revelation (some say Apocalypse) to John the Apostle. For brevity, here are some Matthew 24 excerpts from the Amplified Classic (AMPC):

 

³ While He was seated on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately and said, Tell us, when will this take place, and what will be the sign of Your coming and of the end (the completion, the consummation) of the age?

 

⁴ Jesus answered them, Be careful that no one misleads you [deceiving you and leading you into error].

 

⁵ For many will come in (on the strength of) My name [^[b]appropriating the name which belongs to Me], saying, I am the Christ (the Messiah), and they will lead many astray.

 

⁶ And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars; see that you are not frightened or troubled, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.

We watch our world crumbling before our very eyes, as those people who hate America, citizens and foreign nationals alike, work to do the bidding of the authoritarian globalist statists, Marxists and Fascists currently in the seats of government in America, tolerating the intolerable and still incredulously working to "find compromise" with those who seek to transform America and eradicate the Founding and all that has gone before us.

 

Why? And for how much longer? One might ask.

 

Our captors and occupiers continue to spend trillions upon trillions of dollars, with no true understanding of exactly how much wealth each trillion might actually represent or any care for how the borrowed trillions and the $30 trillion national debt will ever be paid off, or if it ever will be paid off. Do they even care? I think not, for they know it is all either going to soon come tumbling down like the house of cards it is, or they won't be living to see the end of the feast at the trough and the slaughter of the hogs, when the dark winter is upon America, the world in fact.

 

And the propaganda machine rolls on just as fast as the printing presses at the Federal Reserve Bank.

 

The Covid Hoax continues as Dr Anthony Fauci continues with his lies and fronting for those very same so-called "elites" who would be kings of the world under whatever system they believe they can sell to the ignorant madding masses, who have sold their individual Liberty, their inalienable God-given Rights and their very soul to the Devil and the immorality, deviancy, depravity and vile evil it brings, just so they may be "taken care of" by the Leviathan and the tyrants.

 

Oh yes. The looters, takers, thieves in broad daylight, laughing and smiling at the great heist they are getting away with to the detriment of good and decent Americans, are certainly going to "be taken care of", as the Jab leads to one long string of booster shots and brings them the death sought by the Modern Day Malthusians, those early proponents of baby sacrifices at the altar of Planned Parenthood and the abortionists ever so willing to murder a baby, even as he, as she -- yes, we use pronouns here -- peeks their little head from the vagina and escapes the womb, leaving baby body parts on the birthing table to be sold to the highest bidder, to be used in more transhumanist "research" enabling the continuation of the Covid agenda, the agenda of depopulating the world.

 

From the first day Evil has sought Man's death, and Adam and Eve blindly fell under its spell, setting in motion all we witness and battle against today. And despite the knowledge that the forces of Good, those faithful believers in Jesus Christ, win in the end, it doesn't make life in the here and now too much more bearable, as we suffer an ever more increasing and advancing tyranny around the world, but especially so in what has largely and historically been known as "the Free World", 'til now, as tyranny has slung Australia and the U.K low and is working to do the same in America. 

 

Life has become an everyday battle for most people, just to navigate the "new rules", the illegal mandates and executive orders that are being imposed under the color of law, when in fact they have absolutely zero basis in any actual U.S. code, or "law". And while we may make it through each day by taking pleasure in the simplest of things, from a bluebird chirping on a tree limb outside our kitchen window, the sunrise or the cute little neighborhood fox running down our street in the moonlight, we get no pleasure and only misery of heart and mind from being put upon and abused by the tyrants who currently hold the reins of power and the seats of government.

 

We worry for our children and how they might survive the idiocy of an energy policy that works to destroy conventional automobiles and diesel trucks and tractors before anything viable is in place to replace them, to fill the void. More serious is the void left by attacking fracking, new drilling and coal, to end its days, in favor of wind and solar energy, without even considering expanding the clean energy of the highly efficient nuclear industry.

 

The psychopathic monsters pushing this ideology of death don't really care how much ordinary Americans or people elsewhere around the world are hurt by their policies, since they never intended on being held to the same standard themselves, forever pressing forward with "rules for thee, but not for me", just as we all see former Vice-President Al Gore's 10,000 square feet mansion in Belle Meade, Tennessee regularly lit up like a Christmas tree, especially at Christmas time, or Special Envoy for Climate Change John Kerry regularly jet-setting around the globe in a private jet, whose twelve cars, two yachts and six homes most assuredly have an exponentially larger "carbon foot-print" than my little ol' ten-speed English racer bicycle, '98 Mercury and three bedroom ranch house.

 

And as if this isn't enough for the average, everyday normal American family to have to worry over, we see our borders opened wide for any and all comers, with Afghan terrorists, Haitian gang members, Mexican cartels and even Chinese communist spies, or any and every other enemy of America, coming and going at will by way of South America and the Darien Gap between Colombia and Panama, and area I loved to roam as a boy of seven, when my father was stationed at Ft Davis, Canal Zone, Panama.

 

The enemies from within are doing the dirty work for America's enemies, whether we speak of China, Russia, Pakistan or Iran and a sundry litany of others, as they have allowed the continuation of the theft of intellectual property and technology from the U.S. to the point that we recently witnessed a significant juncture in history and the U.S. surpassed by China with the successful test of a new hypersonic missile, for which America has no defense.

 

Ah yes. Good times ahead for all. 

 

And the hits and the misery index just keep on coming and climbing higher, as everything under the sun is jumping in price, anywhere from a ten percent increase for milk and bacon to a forty-five percent increase for fuel oil and gasoline. Used cars are up a whopping twenty-four percent, and stagnation is on its way.

 

If Americans survive the Idiots in the White House, Congress and the U.S. Supreme Court over the next few years, we might just stand a chance at remaining free, however we maneuver this obstacle course filled with pitfalls, booby-traps and traitors tripping over traitors to see who can present the most anti-American image to the CNN and MSNBC cameras. But staying alive will be the real battle, as we will find ourselves playing "Hurry-up and Catch-up" to counter and neutralize the current edge China has gained and to restore our domestic economy back to health, enough that everybody has what they truly may need, if not what they may want.

 

Life isn't perfect. But it's damned tough when one is crippled on all fronts by Fat Ass Know-nothing Bureaucrats, Yes Men, Useful Idiots and Knowing Purposeful Traitors. It's damned tough, when one could find one's way out of the tunnel and into the light, but for communists intent on keeping everybody driven down into "equality" in the common denominator of poverty for all, as serfs cowed and submissive to the Super State.

 

At a time when the mechanisms of government that were designed as checks and balances on such overreaches of power and means to safeguard our Freedom and Liberty no longer seem to be working as intended, 'We the People' -- for whoever that designates -- are left with very few options these days, and corrupt men declare themselves to be the arbiter of truth and what is "law" without comment or proper public discourse. And the result is a Republic being hacked away at by Marxist and Maoist Cancel Culture radicals, who will not rest until America is destroyed, and even now, they are successfully removing the statue of Thomas Jefferson from the chambers of the New York City Council, which opens the door to every single Founding Father who owned slaves to be erased from American history, including George Washington.

 

Say "Good-Bye" to the Washington Monument and say "Good-Bye" to everybody's Freedom and Liberty if freedom-loving Americans don't start doing a whole hell of a lot more to stop these Fascists and Communists than they have done to date. Freedom comes at a cost and nobody ever promised the fight to remain free would be an easy road.

 

But if You're "A'OK" with Biden and Marx Inc and all that portends for America's future and the state of liberty in the country generations from now, I suppose you can join in the chorus as you and your ilk sing "let them eat cake" while an ever increasing number of Americans go onto the public welfare rolls or simply fall by the wayside in new manmade diseases and starvation. Carry on like there's no tomorrow and no consequences to follow; do a little dance; sing a little song and get down tonight" and see where you may land in the end.

 

I'm still of the mind "better dead than red", and I intend to remain Free, even if it means picking up a rifle and killing amerikkan Commies and a combination of ChiCom and UN Security Force invaders, if finally left with no other choice.

 

In the meantime, I'll muddle along through this world, doing no wrong and meaning no harm, enjoying each new sunrise and each new rising moon, and hoping to be left alone alongside those I respect, admire and love to continue to love and let live.

Save America's Children - Own the Youth, Gain the Future - Garland Casts an Evil Shadow of Fascism Across America

America's children are the core and the heart of Her future, but one wouldn't know it by the manner in which so many school board members across the country are willing to indoctrinate them to accept immoral and deviant personal and social behavior and hate America; and, along with this indoctrination, their illiberal and tyrannical mask and vaccine mandates serve to also make our children believe that their Liberty and Freedom are privileges from government rather than [JRH – After reading about your Inalienable God-given Rights you could by outraged at our current tyranny] Inalienable God-given Rights, against the parents succinct and concise wishes. And most Americans would prefer and are demanding today that these school boards actually educate and keep their children safe from drug-pushers, shooters and rapists who roam the halls of their schools.

 

Instead of doing anything that truly makes schools safer and better in America, they inundate our children with homoerotic and Critical Race Theory trash [Blog Editor: SEE *** Below paragraph] that is as vile and as evil and immoral a thing as one will ever witness, in a nation that is supposedly ranked number one in education globally, although our children can't do math and science, and then they have the gall and arrogance to act as if they have been attacked and victimized, when parents arrive at school board meetings to angrily confront the evil they have facilitated and perpetrated.

On September 29th 2021, Viola Garcia, president of the National School Boards Association (NSBA), wrote a letter to the Oval Office placeholder asking for help in stopping "threats and acts of violence against schoolchildren, public school board members, and other public school district officials and educators", essentially because her fevered imagination equates parents attempting to hold school boards accountable with threats and intimidation. Her and her ilk are pushing a Marxist, Maoist Cancel Culture agenda, and anybody that expresses real opposition to that agenda are told to shut their mouths and sit down or leave, and failure to obey too often results in police officers violating those parents' rights and forcibly removing them from the room.

 

Exemplifying the extraordinary lengths these ideologues are willing to go, Garcia's letter incredibly specifically requests that her concerns be reviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Homeland Security, and the U.S. Secret Service in cooperation with the Department of Justice. 

 

On October 4th 2021, Attorney General Merrick Garland fired off a memorandum  -- a real piece of Fascist garbage --  that never would have been written by any Administration mindful of the Constitution and the actual law, in response to Garcia's letter, and in the egregious manner of a good little Fascist attempting to intimidate parents. Without any foundation in U.S. law or any cited legal basis, Garland never cited any specific federal or state crimes that drove him to act in response to Garcia's obvious transparently political missive that complained about parents who fiercely defended their children through statements that have been loud and angry, and righteous. However, Garland did make vague reference to "a disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence", as he defamed constitutionally protected dissent and ordered the DOJ to coordinate with thousands of school districts in basic retaliation, complete with investigative harassment aimed at parents, along with associated potentially ruinous legal costs, to force Americans to submit and comply.

 

Garland is basically hoping to use the federal government's own threats, coercion and intimidation and the legal process as a penalty against Conservatives, Independent and Christian dissidents, even when they haven't in fact violated any federal law, casting an evil shadow of Fascism across America.

 

Ironic isn't it? Garland expressing his desire to use the full weight of the federal government against concerned citizens and parents, who allegedly threaten, intimidate or harass public servants, on the same day Joe Biden declares such acts are "part of the process" when his Democratic Party Communist supporters used them against Democratic Senator Krysten Sinema for obstructing his $3.5 trillion spending bill. But despite all of this, Garland, a longtime DOJ official and a former federal appellate judge, actually does fully understand that historically the First Amendment leaves little leeway for any law enforcement restraints against it in the role of domestic political opposition, especially through the federal government.

 

Many Americans would prefer to see Biden, Garland and school board members taking steps to ensure that teenage girls couldn't be raped in our schools, rather than trying to conceal the fact, fail to immediately report such incidents to police and facilitate the continuation of dangerous pro-LGBTQ policies that allow fully male deviants to commit such crimes against young girls, as brought to the spotlight by the case in Loudon County, Virginia. But instead, they are affronted by arrests, such as in Scott Smith's case, that happen for no other reason than a parent voicing something a board member doesn't want to hear or be made public.

 

Where was the mainstream media's coverage of this poor girl's rape? A ninth grade girl, fourteen years old, who was forcibly sodomized and forced to perform fellatio. Where is the coverage of the attempted cover-up and the fact that the Loudon County School Board wanted to handle it "in house" rather than go to the police? And we are supposed to trust our children to these immoral and dishonest sorts of people who managed to get themselves elected?

 

No wonder Mr Smith demanded to be heard and kept talking when they tried to silence him, as some also called him a "liar" despite hard evidence to the contrary. How could the police dare side with the tyrants and arrest Mr Smith for speaking the truth to those who failed both him and his daughter?

 

And please recall that it was the Biden Education Department that opened the door to transgendered students having access to any bathroom of their choice under Title IX and paved the way for the numerous abuses we are all already witnessing. An anatomically correct teenage male has no business at all in the Ladies' Restroom, no matter how much he protests that he is "a lady".

 

Most Americans are not going to tolerate their children being taught now thinly veiled Critical Race Theory curriculum from kindergarten through high school, which attempts to paint America as racist to its core. We aren't going to stand for one minute more to be spent on teaching young White children that somehow Christian and Western principles and the ideas of objective reasoning, individuality and personal responsibility driven by one's conscience and a certain sense of urgency are all somehow wrong and "an aspect of White Supremacy". We aren't going to tolerate so-called educators, who reveal their own racist agenda in the name of "anti-racism" when they use CRT to disingenuously and erroneously suggest that black children cannot effectively think in a proper analytical manner due to racial and cultural factors, even though many studies suggest the problem is found in their early childhood environments. 

 

Derrick Wilburn, a black descendant of slaves, gives one of the most outstanding speeches one will ever hear in a fairly recent video, as he expressed his opposition to CRT before the Colorado Springs School Board, noting that he was "not oppressed nor a victim" -- that his three children are not oppressed, stating in part, "We are not victims of America". The Colorado Springs District 49 school board asked for community comments regarding "Critical Race Theory" being forced into or banned from classrooms. They asked for comments - they got them!]

 

The public education system supposedly exists to serve the needs of American families, not as an entity unto itself, existing only for itself and its own agenda. These parents aren't showing up and disrupting classrooms. They are arriving at public meetings to address real, valid and vital concerns and issues, where they have been exercising their First Amendment rights to effect change in their children's schools, necessary by all accounts and given what has transpired to date. And rather than being treated with proper respect and cooperation, they encounter intransigent, intractable school board members who disable microphones in mid-sentence, end comment periods early and mock the concerned parents behind their backs. 

 

Our right to petition our elected officials to redress our grievances is an inalienable right that is constitutionally protected.

 

American parents are right to be angry, to be outraged, and any government official that attempts to silence them, to the point of having them dragged from the room and arrested, just because they express their anger is completely out of touch and on the wrong side of the issue.

 

If I tell a school board member that I'm going to have his job, is that a threat? Yes. And if I said it, it would be meant more as a promise, but it wouldn't require the intervention of the police. Similarly, if I were to say, "I'd like to knock your head off" or "someone ought to tar and feather you", that could be perceived as a threat, but not an imminent threat that would necessarily require the federal government to intervene, and they really aren't violations of any federal law; and absent a very specific call for violence or the act itself being fulfilled, they really aren't prosecutable crimes under state law. 

 

Unless someone clearly and concisely calls for the use of force against somebody else or an entity and obviously intends real and imminent violence in any public setting, our First Amendment protects our right to speak freely, and even actual threats of violence are not a matter for law enforcement to do anything other than give some perfunctory and initial scrutiny. 

 

Garland's Fascist Department of [JRH] Schutzstaffel (aka the Department of Injustice) and the equally unreliable and Fascistic FBI do not hold any general, national police power and no federal crimes exist without clear, intentional and imminent threats against federal interests, along the line of bomb threats and real and clear threats against the U.S. Armed Forces or federal buildings and officials, which explains his memorandum's proposed partnership between the DOJ and FBI and "State, local, tribal, and territorial law enforcement" to address threats against school board members and other educators. He perfectly well understands he is overstepping his constitutional authority in taking any action against parents due to their dissent over CRT, Transgender and Homosexual Studies and other controversial topics, and can only be relevant or effective in any ongoing set of circumstances by acting in conjunction and cooperation with state and local law enforcement, as he circumvents and violates the constitutional federalism principles that are supposed to prevent this very thing from becoming our reality. 

 

If this wasn't ideologically motivated, as Merrick Garland asserts, then why is he and the DOJ and these various school boards headed by Democratic Party Communist apparatchiks so threatened by the free exchange of ideas and concerns of Conservatives, Christians and others within the dichotomy between the proponents of the destruction of the Republic and those supporting traditional America?

 

In 1935, Adolf Hitler spoke to the German people and declared:

 

"He alone, who owns the youth, gains the future."

 

All of this action by the Looters and Takers, the Socialists and Communists of the Democratic Party is nothing less than the culmination of endeavors to ensure that parents have as little say in the education and training of their own children as possible. It's nothing less than silencing parents through government threats and intimidation, in order that vile, treacherously immoral and evil proponents of an unbelievably, unfathomably depraved worldview may continue to indoctrinate children to conform to that new depraved model they wish to impose on us all, and just as there was the Hitler Youth, the Soviet Komsomol, Mao's Red Guard and the North Vietnamese Revolutionary Youth League, Biden and Democratic Party successors hope to have their comparable group, perhaps a revamped Students for a Democratic Society.

 

In the wake of a tyrannical regime that looks at Conservative, Independent and Christian Americans with contempt and hatred and perverts our public education system in a way that is detrimental to all America, dissidents across our great country must not wither and wilt under the Biden regime's attempt to defeat them through an extreme abuse of power by Garland's weaponized Department of Injustice. We must fight back and resist with the utmost effort in this battle that is one of the most important battles we will fight in this war being waged, so that our children and their children's children and many generations hereafter will remain Free, long after we are dead and gone.

 

Fight these Communist revolutionaries in the Biden regime and across society, who allowed U.S. cities to be burned with little consequence to the arsonists but now want to use arbitrary whim and the government jackboots to repress and criminalize our Inalienable God-given Rights. Fight those Fascists, who would destroy traditional America and trample on the Rights and Freedoms that have defined America from its first days, and refuse to let them take our Liberty or super-impose a lie in place of American heritage and God's truth.

On the Xephula Group Introduce Yourself, a person going by Rogue Nation Eternal Militia shared what can be better described as a video essay with “1984” style scrolling photos to highlight how 2021 is emerging to resemble the George Orwell novel more and more every day.

1984 is a dystopian social science fiction novel and cautionary tale written by English writer George Orwell. It was published on June 8, 1949 by Secker & Warburg as Orwell's ninth and final book completed in his lifetime.

 

Thematically, it centers on the consequences of totalitarianism, mass surveillance and repressive regimentation of people and behaviors within society. Orwell, a democratic socialist, modelled the totalitarian government in the novel after Stalinist Russia and Nazi Germany. Keep in mind that since the ‘vaccine’ came out they have told us that it is 100% safe. Most reporting says the opposite but when people don’t research anything all they do is believe what MSM is telling them. New VAERS numbers should scare the daylights out of anyone who is considering getting the jab. There have been 701,559 adverse events, 60,741 hospitalizations, 80,393 urgent care, 6,637 heart attacks, 5,765 myocarditis, 1,862 miscarriages, 19,210 disabled, and 14,925 deaths. More people have died from the COVID ‘vaccine’ than all other deaths from all other vaccines combined. Remember that these are just America’s numbers. In my last column, I reported that the European Union has reported 26,041 deaths, 2,448,362 injuries.[1] Why is the government demanding that the whole planet gets the ‘vaccine’? It surely isn’t for our health as it seems we’d be a whole lot healthier NOT taking the jab. You’ll also find out that any mention by MSM about these adverse effects is not allowed. This administration does not want the public to know about them.

 

It is being reported that in many places that there are high numbers of COOVID patients who are fully vaccinated: Israel: “85-90% of the hospitalizations are in fully vaccinated people”[2]  Scotland: 70% of Covid deaths and 58% of hospitalizations are fully vaccinated.[3] The illegals coming across our southern border are testing up to 20% positive: Over 20 percent of illegal immigrant unaccompanied minors and 18 percent of family units who recently crossed the U.S.-Mexico border have tested positive for COVID-19 prior to being released from U.S. Customs and Border Protection custody over the last several weeks, according to a Department of Homeland Security document prepared for President Joe Biden and reviewed by NBC News Saturday.

 

The document also said some flights being used to deport illegal immigrants had over 25 percent of the passengers test positive before leaving, forcing Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to remove the sick illegal immigrants and place them in quarantine.

 

“In the last 2-3 weeks, the percent positivity rates among all demographics has increased,” the document says.[4] Biden isn’t requiring them to get the ‘vaccine’ but he’s demanding that the border patrol get it or get fired.  Biden is also shipping the infected illegals to red states with low numbers of cases. Tell me again Biden is demanding people to get the jab for our health’s sake and I’ll have to call you a liar. It’s more proof that the Democrats hate America and will do anything to bring her down.

 

In an article from the Washington Post, there is a call for anyone traveling from one state to another to show proof of vaccination. Requiring vaccination for travel is hardly radical. The U.S. government has been considering a mandate for people flying into the United States from foreign countries. It’s already required for Americans to fly internationally if they don’t want to quarantine for 10 or more days in Germany, Britain, and other destinations. These policies have allowed international travel to resume. More than a month ago, Canada announced a vaccine mandate for interprovincial travel on all forms of public transport. We should follow our neighbor’s lead.

 

Such a mandate would be straightforward to create, based on protecting federal employees from the infection risks created by unvaccinated travelers. Transportation Security Administration staff are exposed daily to thousands of unvaccinated people who pass through security checkpoints.

 

Of course, there will be pushback. But cries of “freedom” and “personal choice” are hollow and politically motivated. Our freedom is not unlimited.[5] This sounds like 1930s Germany with security checkpoints at the border. Notice that they mock our demand for freedoms and personal choice.

Rand Paul questioned Xavier Becerra recently about the science behind the ‘vaccine’ and Paul destroyed Becerra’s defense of demanding everyone get the ‘vaccine’ with common sense but Becerra held to the left’s narrative. Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) grilled HHS Secretary Xavier Becerra on Thursday for “lying to people about natural immunity” to COVID-19 as well as “ignoring science.”

 

“Mr. Becerra, are you familiar with an Israeli study that had 2.5 million patients and found that the vaccinated group was actually seven times more likely to get infected with Covid than the people who had gotten Covid naturally?” Paul asked the health bureaucrat during a Senate Health Committee hearing.

 

“I’m not familiar with that,” Becerra said in response, feigning ignorance with the well-publicized study.

 

“I think you might want to be if you’re going to travel the country insulting the millions of Americans, including NBA star Jonathan Isaac, who had Covid, recovered, look at a study with 2.5 million people, and say, well, you know what, I should make the decision. Instead, you’ve called Jonathan Isaac and others, myself included, flat earthers,” Paul clapped back. “We find that very insulting… Are you a doctor or a medical doctor?” the liberty-loving senator asked.

 

“I have worked for over 30 years on health policy,” Becerra said.

 

This is when Paul went in for the killshot on the paid shill for Big Pharma.

 

“You’re not a medical doctor. Do you have a science degree? And yet you travel the country, calling people flat earthers, who have had Covid, looked at studies of millions of people, and made their own personal decision that their immunity they naturally acquired is sufficient but you presume somehow to tell over 100 million Americans who survived Covid that we have no right to determine our own medical care,” Paul said.[6]

 

There is more and more evidence coming out that this is more than a health issue. It is obvious that the left is making a power play to get all the power they can. Even the Supreme Court is completely ignoring our constitutional rights and their constitutional obligation.  They ignored their responsibility to review the evidence of voter fraud and on October 1^st Sotomayor denies New York school teachers the right to make medical decisions for themselves about their own health. Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor has denied a request by a group of New York City teachers to block the city’s vaccine mandate for Department of Education staff.

 

Sotomayor did not request an additional briefing and also did not refer the request to the full court.

 

As the Supreme Court Justice overseeing the Second Circuit, Sotomayor has the discretion to address emergency applications on her own.

 

Four New York Teachers had claimed in a petition that a vaccine mandate had violated their right to due process and equal protection. 

The roughly 148,000 school employees in New York City had until 5 p.m. Friday to get a least their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccination or face suspension without pay when schools open on Monday.[7]

 

The fourteen days to flatten the curve has turned into almost twenty months with no end in sight, lockdowns, mask mandates, vaccine mandates, and the loss of our right to work and shop unless we take what has been proven to be a very dangerous gene therapy shot not a ‘vaccine’. If we don’t stand now we won’t have that right in a very short time. The Democrats will see to it.

US Set to Pay $712 per Patient for Merck’s COVID-19 Pill

Merck & Co. is set to receive $712 per treatment course for its COVID-19 antiviral pill from the U.S. government—even as it costs a fraction of that amount to produce and is reportedly on track for a price of $12 in India.

 

The gap between production costs and the price for molnupiravir is wide and emblematic of a problem that some say requires Congress or the U.S. government to intervene by implementing price caps, or utilizing so-called march-in rights. Others, though, warn that such measures would curb innovation and lead to fewer drugs coming onto the market.

 

Merck filed for emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration for the oral drug last week, after it said an interim analysis of trial data shows it cut hospitalizations in COVID-19 patients. An FDA advisory panel will consider the drug in November.

 

The treatment, a collection of pills given over five days, would be the first of its kind since the pandemic started.

 

Originally developed by Emory University with U.S. government funding, the drug was licensed by Ridgeback Biotherapeutics last year. Efforts to win authorization during the Trump administration were stymied, leading Ridgeback to turn to Merck.

 

Researchers this month pegged the cost of production for the five-day treatment course at $17.74 (pdf) and estimated that Merck could make a sustainable amount even if it priced a course as low as $19.99.

 

Melissa Barber of the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and Dzintars Gotham of the King’s College Hospital used the cost of the active pharmaceutical ingredient and other numbers to calculate the estimate.

 

The U.S. government committed last year to obtain 1.2 billion treatment courses if the drug received regulatory clearance. According to a contract (pdf) obtained by Knowledge Ecology International, the cost of each treatment would be $712.

 

“This price is equal to about 35 times the estimated sustainable generic price,” Barber and Gotham said.

 

It’s also 46 times as much as Indian manufacturers plan to charge for a generic version, according to Leena Menghaney, the South Asia head of Médecins Sans Frontières’ Access Campaign.

 

“The molnupiravir case illustrates why the ‘TRIPS Waiver’ is so urgently needed, which would waive intellectual property for COVID-19 medical tools during the pandemic and would remove legal barriers so that countries the world over could produce versions of these medicines and more lives could be saved,” she said in a statement, referring to a proposal to waive intellectual property rights for COVID-19 vaccines and treatments.

 

Merck officials didn’t respond to requests for comment. After public criticism of the cost of the company’s antiviral, an executive, Dr. Nicholas Kartsonis, said the price it charged the U.S. government isn’t the final figure.

 

“We set that price before we had any data, so that’s just one contract,” Kartsonis told the Associated Press. “Obviously we’re going to be responsible about this and make this drug as accessible to as many people around the world as we can.”

 

Merck in a statement on Oct. 11 said it’s “committed to providing timely access to molnupiravir globally, if it is authorized or approved, and plans to implement a tiered pricing approach based on World Bank country income criteria to reflect countries’ relative ability to finance their health response to the pandemic.”

Cheaper Than Other Treatments

 

While hydroxychloroquine and other drugs approved for various afflictions but used as off-label COVID-19 treatments cost much less, they aren’t recommended by federal authorities to treat COVID-19. The few cleared as COVID-19 treatments cost more than Merck’s drug.

 

Remdesivir, the only approved treatment for hospitalized patients, costs an estimated $5 (pdf) to produce and was sold to the U.S. government for $2,340 a course—a price now pegged as too high for many patients. Monoclonal antibody courses, used to treat mild or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases, cost around $2,100 per course. The cost of production for the monoclonals isn’t clear.

 

Merck’s drug “is lower than a lot of the other treatments right now for COVID” and “certainly a lot cheaper in the United States of ending up in a hospital,” James Love, director of Knowledge Ecology International, told The Epoch Times.

 

“On the face of it, that doesn’t seem to be, initially, an irresponsible pricing decision for Merck,” he said.

 

The average COVID-19 hospitalization costs $34,662 to $45,683, according to data crunched by FAIR Health (pdf).

 

If regulators do find the drug safe—there are concerns it could lead to the development of cancer—and authorize it in the United States, the calculus could change.

 

“Suppose that a new variant ended up infecting a significant percentage of the U.S. population and the drug was needed for 1 million, 10 million, or 50 million persons. At some point, the price just isn’t reasonable,” Love said in an email.

 

Dr. Roger Klein, a health policy expert who currently advises The Heartland Institute, doesn’t see the gap as a big deal, given that developing treatments are “really high-risk endeavors” that cost a lot of money, including millions of dollars just to run clinical trials.

 

“We don’t know how long these drugs are going to have a market within the United States, which is the world’s most important drug market in many ways,” he told The Epoch Times, adding that he believes the public health crisis from the pandemic is close to being over because of an increasing number of people gaining immunity through vaccination or prior infection.

 

Every treatment costs much more than vaccines. The shots have all been priced under $20 a dose, according to contracts between vaccine makers and the U.S. government.

March-in Rights

 

One possible approach to lowering drug prices is utilizing various provisions of the Bayh–Dole Act of 1980, some experts say.

 

The act let the federal government retain some rights for inventions produced with government funding. It also enables federal agencies to use known as march-in rights, through which the government in certain circumstances can require a company to grant a license for a drug to an applicant. The government can grant the license itself if the patent owner refuses.

 

Some experts and advocates say march-in rights can be used to ease drug prices or provide leverage in negotiations on prices.

 

Thirty-one state attorneys general called last year on the federal government to exercise march-in rights on remdesivir to boost supply and lower its price.

 

“Here, we think it is clear that Gilead has not established a reasonable price, nor has it met the health and safety needs of the public given the COVID-19 pandemic,” they wrote (pdf).

 

However, no federal agency has ever exercised the power, according to the Congressional Research Service and opponents say the law has only narrow application.

 

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has said multiple times the act doesn’t authorize it to set prices, Dr. Mark Rohrbaugh, special adviser for technology transfer at the NIH, said during a panel discussion last year held by the Bayh–Dole 40 Coalition and Information Technology and Innovation Foundation. No other federal agency has disagreed with this position, he said.

 

Both the Trump and Biden administrations have rebuffed those calls and other efforts to cap prices during the pandemic.

 

“We can’t control that price because we need the private sector to invest,” Alex Azar, the health secretary at the time, said during a congressional hearing in February 2020.

 

Even if march-in rights can’t be used, the government can negotiate prices, others say.

 

The government’s funding and involvement with setting contracts with hospitals for remdesivir should have led to price concessions, Dr. Peter Bach, director of the Center for Health Policy and Outcomes at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, said during an Institute for Clinical and Economic Review (ICER) panel discussion last year.

 

Public Citizen, an advocacy group, has urged the Biden administration to use executive authority to impose “a reasonable pricing requirement” so that “taxpayers don’t pay twice for medicine developed with public funds—first funding research and development, and again through excessive prices.”

 

Gilead and Eli Lilly, which produces monoclonals, did not respond to requests for comment. A GlaxoSmithKline spokeswoman declined to provide information on the cost of production for the antibodies. A Regeneron spokesman told The Epoch Times in an email that monoclonals “are complex to develop and manufacture, requiring time, specialized facilities and expertise, hence the higher cost of this class vs. vaccines.”

 

“Monoclonal antibodies are intended primarily as treatment, and so also have cost-effectiveness in being administered only to high-risk patients who are otherwise likely to be hospitalized, as opposed to vaccines which are intended to be administered to all,” he added.

Quest to Revamp Pricing

 

Prices can vary based on a number of factors, Merck says in a fact sheet, including value to patients and health care systems and the investment into research and development.

 

Other factors include what the market is willing to pay and the number of alternatives, according to Joey Mattingly, associate professor and vice chair of academic affairs at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy’s Department of Pharmaceutical Health Services Research. The volume of sales also plays a role, as do getting large contracts from governments.

 

Drugmakers have long been accused of charging too much for products, especially drugs for rare diseases. Some experts and lawmakers have pushed to revamp the drug pricing system, but the issue has bedeviled Congress since the 1950s.

 

An agreement was close in the 1960s on a proposal by then-Sen. Estes Kefauver (D-Tenn.) to implement pricing caps and other ideas currently supported among some members of both parties. But Kefauver couldn’t ultimately secure enough votes, and the Kefauver–Harris Amendment that eventually passed focused primarily on drug safety and efficacy.

 

“There’s a lot of proposals out there, good or bad, and we’ll just see if it has the votes and the things that don’t have the votes will fall out and we’ll keep talking about it and then depending on how elections go over the next 10 years, maybe there will [be a change], but I’m not holding my breath, just because I know we’ve been on this journey for 60 years,” Mattingly said.

Free Born Americans must attack the Biden regime's Fascism and state sponsored authoritarianism at every turn in the road and each time he and his handlers move against traditional America, Freedom and Liberty, and we must reject and refuse to comply with any illegal diktat presented to us under the color of "law" that places some intolerable limit on our personal Freedoms and Liberties, in the name of "for the Greater Good", that inevitably and ultimately limits the Freedom of all American society, for no other reason than the Biden regime's psychopathic need to control everybody and everything and to break the nation to its knees under authoritarian Socialism. Fight back against the Biden regime and a Democratic Party that equates the ideas of Marx and Mao with truth, Justice and Liberty.

 

Who are party to "the Greater Good" and who actually benefits? Certainly not the hardworking, freedom-loving individuals of America, in the context of how the phrase is currently understood within American society. 

 

Too many in this country have suggested that America's greatest achievements would never have materialized without "the collective", as they have fallen prey to the fallacious conflation of results from individuals cooperating of their own free will and those of forced compliance by the government. Forced compliance and government intrusion has caused every single problem ever witnessed in this country. It was the unleashed power of individual creativity found through individual Liberty that gave us technological advancements, like the cotton-gin, the automobile and the airplane, which made America's economy thrive more than anyone could imagine, thus opening the door for greater individual prosperity and Liberty. 

 

A proponent of Marx and Mao see humanity as a whole, much like a massive thunderstorm, to be handled as an entire single unit, in unison under Communist and collectivist dogma, while advocates of Adam Smith Capitalism and Freedom and Liberty look at that same storm of humanity and see each the uniqueness of each individual, each raindrop. And it is that distinction that results in extreme and vastly different results.

 

Every important policy decision made today under Biden has virtually no real basis in actual prescribed law and very often goes against our U.S. codes, whether we speak of Biden's disregard of contract law in association with the Keystone Pipeline, his disregard for property rights through the Eviction Moratorium, his disregard for sound economics through his Spending Bills, his disregard for science  associated with both Covid and Climate change, and his complete disregard for U.S. Border and Immigration Law. Biden's policies are aimed at compelling all Americans to submit to the collective and forego all sense of self, family, God and Country and the relinquishing of all one's Liberty at the expense of one's own conscience.

 

Our system was never intended to be a democratic tyranny, and given all that has occurred since 2008 to the present, the tyranny we now experience is a result of the American people being too tolerant over the years in the face of too many manipulations of our rights as enumerated in the Constitution, by way of "democratic" means and by the enemy from within, those Communists and anti-Americans, that has always sought the end of our Republic, from the first days of the release of [JRH] Das Kapital. Hundreds of Communist Bureaucrats, such as Obama advisor Valerie Jarret and Biden Director of Domestic Policy Susan Rice, have infiltrated into top positions throughout the federal institutions over the decades, along with thousands more at every level of society who are more than willing to use "any means necessary", any dirty, immoral act, from arson to murder to ensure a final victory for the Deep State and the end of America's Republic, and all the while the Biden regime uses a weaponized Justice Department and FBI against all America, even the parents of America who are [JRH] fighting as hard as they can to stop the Fascist indoctrination of their children against their express wishes and will.

 

Everything Biden's regime is doing is supposedly for the benefit of all Americans, according to Biden and others alongside him, and in essence "for the Greater Good". 

 

Please tell me how taking away one's Right to choose their own medical treatment is for the benefit of all Americans, or playing God and stealing their wages through asinine taxes that are supposed to prevent drastic climate change as if they can, or flooding the nation with poor, uneducated foreigners bent on taking all they can take from American coffers, or spending us into oblivion and the permanent destruction of the U.S. economy. Please tell America how "social infrastructure" is anything other than money thrown into the pockets of Biden Cronies, Democratic Party Communist apparatchiks and useless, do-nothing, non-productive programs, and how that benefits anyone at all. And please, we all want to know how preventing actual peaceful protest by targeting parents angry over School Board overreaches concerning school curriculum, masks and covid mandates is actually beneficial to all America and "for the Greater Good".

 

In [JRH] Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal (1966), Ayn Rand noted:

 

"The smallest minority on earth is the individual. Those who deny individual rights cannot claim to be defenders of minorities." 

 

Each of us has the absolute right, even now and despite anything Biden and Company say, to live our lives as we please, so long as we do no harm to others and violate their Inalienable God-given Rights in any manner. We have the right to enter into agreements freely and to reject agreements of our own free will. This coming together of our own Free Will in cooperation to see to our national defense and build a strong military as well as super-highways, a strong thriving economy, and an efficient postal service had more bearing on America's rapid rise and success than anything forced on us against our will, which has historically always backfired on the government.

 

Traditionally and in America's earliest years, the sovereignty of the individual and individual liberty was perfectly understood as not an entity that grants the individual license to do anything they wish to do. It had to be managed within a righteous understanding of righteously formatted law as understood through the Christian and Western principles of the day, and it was most usually considered through everybody's Inalienable God-given Rights, in regard to mutually advantageous with others and self-interest and the millions of small decisions each of us makes over our lifetimes that taken on the whole effect society.

 

It's perfectly reasonable and acceptable to demand equality for everybody, when speaking of equal dignity as individuals and equal treatment under the law, however, each and every time anyone has ever attempted to apply equality to economics and results for individuals, such attempts have dragged economies and entire peoples into an economic malaise and quagmire, failing miserably and resulting in the death of Freedom and Liberty. 

 

But today it would seem, the Biden regime would tell us what constitutes a family, when and how we can open our businesses, who we can employ, and when we may buy, sell or trade in our markets. They have done everything but seize the means of production to this point and their government intrusions are largely unwelcome to many Freedom-minded Americans and they are debilitating and destructive to our society from a holistic perspective.

 

As noted by Henry David Thoreau in Civil Disobedience (1849): 

 

"There will never be a really free and enlightened State until the State comes to recognize the individual as a higher and independent power, from which all its own power and authority are derived, and treats him accordingly." 

 

And from a different angle, no truer words were ever spoken than the ones heard in [JRH] The Fountainhead, written by Ayn Rand, who saw the onset and advent of communism in Russia that first year of 1917 and all the horrors that followed:

 

"Power! What do you think is power? Whips? Guns? Money? You can't turn men into slaves unless you break their spirit. Kill their capacity to think and act on their own. Tie them together, teach them to conform, to unite, to agree, to obey. That makes one neck ready for one leash. .... Why do you suppose I denounced greatness and praised mediocrities ...? Great men can't be ruled. Why did I preach self-sacrifice? If you kill a man's sense of personal value, he'll submit."

 

Many Americans, much like myself, are willing to fight for our Freedom and Liberty, hopefully to see many new sunrises and ultimate Freedom for all, but ever more willing to die in the fight, so our children may live free. But insanely, many more amerikkans seem almost as willing to die in their fight to build a Super-State that takes all the nation's wealth for redistribution to their Communist and Fascist ilk, seen in the ranks of Antifa, Black Lives Matter, Solidarity, Pueblo Sin Fronteras, La Raza and Open Society, no matter it comes at the cost of the loss of all liberty and total submission to an authoritarian socialist state.

 

America sees corporate heads, desperate to protect their niche of the market economy, willing to enforce illiberal, tyrannical diktats emanating from the Biden regime and even regular American citizens all too willing to act as informants and enforcers against the Liberty-minded Americans of our country, just as Nazi Germany witnessed many of their own set upon, imprisoned, tortured and murdered by other German citizens -- not all Nazi soldiers -- who were "simply doing our jobs". We are seeing the attempt to recruit and morph the bulk of our society into a mass of barbaric psychopaths who will be more than happy to attack Freedom-minded Americans in any manner so ordered by the Biden regime. 

 

If they are so willing to die trying to control everything and take Freedom and Liberty from me and mine, doing the Democratic Party Communists' dirty work and enforcing this New World Order-type tyranny, so be it. At this point, I have grown more than willing to oblige them.

 

An amicable spit of the states as suggested by many, along the lines of Mike Nichols in a recent article, isn't remotely feasible with very nearly half the nation currently supporting the looters and takers -- the Marxists and Cancel Culture Maoists -- of America. We have long since passed the point of no return, and with election mechanisms still steeped in fraud and the same Bad Actors in place currently consolidating power and continuing to weaponize the federal government against all Conservative and Christian America, the likelihood of a peaceful resolution between two antithetical ideologies is slim to none today, especially when one considers that even so-called "Red States" have large segments of Socialists, Communists and other radicals in all their most significant cities.

 

And in the meantime, stop enabling America's tyrants, by listening well to the advocates of individual Liberty, living courageously and logically, and refuse to be silenced or blinded by Fascistic propaganda and absurd, poisonous lies and policies, while embracing the potential of one's future self and saving society from the current dystopian phantasmagorias and Cancel Culture idiocy. One's failure to do anything less in today's political environment serves only to stain one's own conscience and permanently scars one's soul.

 

Fight for Truth, real Justice and true Freedom and Liberty for all men and women, in every public hall and government institution and courtroom, but stand ready, strong and prepared to take up arms and fight all across America if and when it ultimately becomes our last resort, and do everything humanly possible to stop the inhuman ideologies that seek to enslave all humanity. 

 

Fight back against the Biden regime's advocacy for Marx and Mao and the totalitarian ideologies that have historically represented the greatest threat to mankind anyone has ever witnessed, and fight for our rights to our own Life and Liberty and the Right to one's own personal and private possessions and property that is sanctioned merely by the fact of our birth, in order to pursue one's own happiness as he sees fit and to enter a new age of civilization whereby our society sets man free from the tyrannical edicts and diktats of little, small-minded, ignorant men. 

 

Fight back against a Communist ideology and collectivism, which is far from any new order for the world, and the evil dark yesterday that Biden and Marx Inc would impose on all of our tomorrows, for it is only the Individual Self and Individual Liberty that has ever wrought the best, most benevolent and brightest initiatives and innovations forth over the entire history of mankind.
