Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals & How They Are Being Applied Today

Blog Editor: Rather than capitulate to Facebook censorship by abandoning the platform, I choose to post and share until the Leftist censors ban me. Recently, the Facebook censorship tactic I’ve experienced is a couple of Group shares then jailed under the false accusation of posting too fast. So I ask those that read this, to combat censorship by sharing blog and Facebook posts with your friends or Groups you belong to.

Many Conservatives who pay attention to how government and politics affects their lives are aware of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals. Those same Conservatives are aware of prominent Dems living the Rules for Radicals (cough ahem – Crooked Hillary, Deep State Obama, among others).

Alinsky’s Rules are a Socialist agenda to transform America AWAY from its Founding Principles and Christian heritage. Take from the Ocensor article cross posted here about how much the present Dem Agenda smacks of old uncle Saul.

Alinsky’s Rules For Radicals & How They Are Being Applied Today

Sep 23, 2019

Many of us have heard of Saul Alinsky, his rules for radicals, the left scoffs at our looking to this, but is there any truth that this is being applied to the US political landscape today, and if it is, who is applying it?

To understand what these rules are we have to look at what he asked for and what was his goal. Alinsky was a socialist who lived in the 1900s in the US, graduated from the University of Chicago with a Ph.D. in Psychology. He went on and worked for the State of Illinois for a short time, then went on to be a community organizer, writer, political activist.

He is looked to as an author of socialist ideology, something that many on the left aspire to follow, and much of his “Rules for Radicals,” published a year before his death is seen as a guideline of how to bring about a social change in America to set it up for socialist rule.

So what is this “Rules for Radicals” and what did it advocate? The whole document was set up to show how to bring a nation to its knees so a socialist change could come to the land and would bring about socialism to the state. Here are the items and what they were set up for:

1)   Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people.

2)   Poverty – Increase the Poverty level as high as possible, poor people are easier to control and will not fight back if you are providing everything for them to live.

3)   Debt  Increase the debt to an unsustainable level.  That way you are able to increase taxes, and this will produce more poverty.

4)   Gun Control – Remove the ability to defend themselves from the Government. That way you are able to create a police state.

5)   Welfare – Take control of every aspect of their lives (Food, Water, Electrical power, Housing and neighborhood demographics, and Income).

6)   Education – Take control of what people read and listen to – take control of what children learn in school.  (Common Core?)

7)   Religion – Remove the belief in the God from the Government and schools.

8)   Class Warfare – Divide the people into the wealthy and the poor.  This will cause more discontent and it will be easier to take Tax from the wealthy with the support of the poor.

So how does this list apply today? I would say if you look at the actions of the last president, then of the left today, with people like AOC, Sanders, along with her squad and many from the left you see this in full effect today. So let’s look at each item and see if it is in workings today.

·       Healthcare – Control healthcare and you control the people.

                                                     i.               We saw two activists within the Democratic party, one that was very much of an activist in her school days, one that went from activist and community organizer to the White House, Clinton and Obama pushed from their times in the White House to put in place socialized medical care, Clinton failed when she was the first lady, Obama partially succeeded, but has much of what he pushed now being stripped by Trump.

ii.               Even though Trump has pushed back on this, today you see the whole Democrat party pushing for universal healthcare, the more left-leaning or outright socialist the candidates are, who is running for president, we see idea’s being presented from strengthening of Obamacare to outright shutting down private healthcare insurance and putting in a Canadian style social healthcare, where the state controls all.

iii.               We now hear that healthcare is a fundamental human right, this is used as a means of pushing that there should be no choice in this, the government, as a guarantor of our rights should be the one to take charge of our health care, it should never be in the hands of private business or individuals. The far-left socialist, Sanders and Warran are pushing this; when asked if our healthcare insurance will be taken, both are equal in their moves to deflect from the question and never answer.

iv.               By demanding that universal healthcare is given to all, including illegals, the left is demanding that our nation be changed to what they demand, if you are not willing to change the structure of our government the left labels and then attacks, as they do with everything.

·       Poverty – with the way the economy is going under Trump this is getting harder and harder to exploit, so instead of trying to exploit poverty, instead the left pushes to scare people to think it is coming, or to openly wish for a great recession, such as Bill Mahr did.

1.       We have seen that some within the left want to see a recession, turn to any paper, turn on the news, you are now bombarded with stories of a recession coming our way. The fact that our economy is the strongest it has been in years, that is a considerable inconvenience for the left, they know then the only way to push this today is not to say people are worse off, instead, bad times are coming, when they do, it is all Trump’s and the Right’s fault, so you need to come to us today so we can protect you against this when it happens.

2.     The second thing you see is the left turning to very radical ideas that will radically transform our economy and is guaranteed to bring about complete and total poverty, thus you have the Green New Deal. When the left is unable to feed off the fear of people of things turning sour, they then look for ways to bring about an economic downturn. The dream of the left is to see our economy fail, the benefit for them is two-fold: First, they get rid of the arch-enemy who they see as standing in their way for the idea of a socialist paradise. That would be the conservative right and Trump.

·       Debt – Debt is not bad, but when it is used to push a nation to the point of poverty, it is. We saw with Obama claims that we needed more than one trillion dollar stimulus to bring back the economy of the US, but the question has to be asked if this was supposed to help our economy, why then did Obama pass this on to businesses outside our nation and to other countries?

                                                     i.               One of the ways to bring people and nation to poverty is to rack up their debt. We had two trillion dollar stimulus given to Obama, but instead of our economy thriving, unemployment going down with this, instead, our economy got worse, our unemployment figures continued to rise.

ii.               Under Obama, we saw our deficit double, and one has to ask, what was accomplished? Our growth never exceeded 2%, he told us jobs were not coming back, he fell back on his socialist ideals when he demanded that more and more of our lives and our dependence be given to the state.

iii.               While the debt is growing under Trump, and I would love to see a reverse of this, we also have to understand, with all these trillions that Obama was given, our national defense was left in shatters, Trump had little choice but to pick up the budget just to build back up a tattered force, many of our jets were unable to fly, it got so bad the Navy was raiding museums to get spare parts. Trump’s moves were never to set this nation in debt; he is moving to pick up the economy to cover spending, an increase in the economy means there are more funds available to be taxed.

·       Take Away Our 2nd Amendment – no party has done more to try to restrict our right to bear arms, something that is part of the American fabric in life, it is a right granted to all Americans, although I now see this right slowly being stripped frequently on almost a daily basis. The left knows a well-armed population is not so quickly forced to go with government programs and forced ideology, take away the guns you take away the ability to resist.

                                      i.               While I can’t say for certain that these school shootings are far too convenient, but I must ask if you are so concerned about school shootings, why aren’t you willing to secure the schools that house our children so this does not happen? As terrible as this sounds, I am at the point that I believe the left thinks these children being lost are worth the sacrifice if they can take our guns in the end. That is why the left refuses to act to protect our schools if we do that, then they will see no more shootings to use as a backdrop to press their taking of our guns.

·       Welfare – no place is the dependence the left wants on display than in our inner cities. The grand experiment by Johnson has laid our cities to waste; families are not in multiple generations where not a soul has worked, their dependence of the state is total. When you create a whole class that is dependent on the state, you have an almost entire class of people who are easily controlled.

                                                     i.               The inner cities in America, parts that are where the primary population of our African American demographic lives, you have a whole group that is told they need to vote as they are told, it is best for them, even though little can be shown to back this up.

ii.               Today the growth of African American’s leaving the Democratic party is quickly bringing the far left to the point of panic, so what did they do? They moved on from these people, still demand that they support them, all while turning on them and moving their support for illegals that have no say in government affairs. This is why there is such a strong move now to give illegals the right to vote.

·       Education – the plan here was to use our school’s as a means not to teach, instead, indoctrinate. I must say, no place is it evident that this is being applied in America today than in our whole mess of an education system. We send our children to school to get an education so they can better their lives, yet starting now in grade schools are children are under a constant barrage of liberal ideology.

                                                     i.               No place are these ideas in its entirety shown more than in schools. You have young people that are poor, they are going through school, so the concept of social handouts is very appealing to them, they care not about taxes, they aren’t paying any, instead they are living off the graces of the taxpayer, thus they feel in many cases they are entitled to these handouts.

ii.               We also see the lack of freedom of speech, of different ideas, this is something these young people think is unacceptable. Thus you have riots and using the heckler’s veto when they wish to shut up opposing views. As was with Russia in their revolution, China too, the leaders or activist go for the youth, they are less able to see what this will lead to in the future, only care about the present.

·       Religion – Religion or faith, it gives hope to a people, that is why socialism, in every nation it has been implemented in, religion was either controlled by the state or was stomped out, or at least the effort was to do this. If you have a people without hope, they need to look to someone or something for hope; if you put the government in place to give this hope, they will turn to it.

                                      i.               The colleges, the stronghold of this movement are also moving to push this. If you look at the teachings of evolution, global warming, you don’t see a science, where all can be questioned, it is OK to challenge theories to see if they stand up to the questions presented. Instead, you are attacked by zealots, with every bit as much zeal as you see from other faiths when you question their core doctrines. The left has moved to replace religion with science, they seem to fail to understand, they are two separate things, but when you do this, you still accomplish what you were seeking to do, taking away hope outside of what socialist is trying to present.

·       Class Warfare – To control the masses, as was seen in Germany, Russia, China, and other nations, you need to create an enemy, for the socialist, it is the elites, the ones driving the economy. They push that somehow these people are gifted, they have earned nothing, gotten what they have due to their taking it from the less fortunate, but is this the case? Let’s look at that:

                                                     i.               We have heard it said that people with too much money should be forced to hand it over to people that have little or none, this is the groundwork of socialism, but is really good practice. You have Bill Gates, Zuckerberg, and others, tech giants that have amassed unheard-of wealth, but did they steal? No, they created a product, one that had a need, they used this need to create wealth, no one was stolen from, people paid for this, this was passed on to these people that created these items.

ii.               Socialist countries start off by stripping the wealthy of their wealth, this may seem like a good thing, but when this is the class creating jobs, handing down wealth to people under them due to this creation, what happens to jobs when they are taken out of the equation? Suggest you look to Venezuela and see what happens. A large oil producer, a wealthy nation, but the standards of the nations around it, now is in utter poverty, the people are in the streets looking for some means of survival. All they have done is stopped upwards mobility and made all people poor.

We may not think that Alinsky’s playbook is in play, sites like Snopes go out of their way to try to discredit where the practice of this is shown, but it is very much in play, it is just being done in secret. What they fail to state is that communism or socialism is exactly what Alinsky was pushing.

We are all in a big chest match, pieces are being moved, many times not in a way that we suspect, but the results will be the same, either we move to counter this or sit and watch it happen.

Introducing Shamim’s Christian Advocacy in Pakistan

John R. Houk
© May 26. 2016

Shamim Mahmood writes of potential solutions to alleviate discrimination by the Sunni Muslim majority against Pakistan’s Christian minority.

Pakistani-Christians are horrendously persecuted in Pakistan via both extra-legal (e.g. terrorism and prejudice) and legal paths primarily through enacted Blasphemy Laws in this Islamic Republic. More egregiously the Blasphemy Laws are used as an instrument of false accusations for various reasons such as revenge, monetary extortion, property acquisition and such nefarious evil designs by Muslims against Christians.

Shamim is a great brother in Christ; however, his faith in the historical promise of Pakistan’s founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah of equal rights for all of Pakistan’s religious minorities. Particularly after Jinnah’s death untimely right after Pakistan’s 1947 birth made the equal rights promise a historical delusion. It is my humble opinion that the declaration of an Islamic Republic meant that religious minorities not bowing as dhimmis to Sunni Muslims made an equal rights promise a delusion.

Muslim love of the Quran that tells them to physically coerce non-Muslims through humiliation to convert or to kill them if they insult Islam or its pseudo-prophet Mohammed is a dooms day promise toward Christians and other religious minorities in Pakistan.

A Muslim apologist will tell a Christian that Islam is peace and makes provision for the People of the Book which are Jews and Christians. And indeed the Quran has those provisions. Unfortunately, those provisions of the Quran spoken by Mohammed were abrogated by the Islamic prophet after the conquest of Medina. Mohammed grew weary of courting the favor of Jews and Christians and sadly and suddenly the moon-deity Allah began telling Mohammed to subject Christians and Jews in humiliation even death for insults. (Later one of four honored Caliph’s that assumed the reins of power after Mohammed’s death figured out how to sustain the then Muslim minority with a stinging protection tax. Failure to pay meant death.) Thus it became an insult for a Christian to proclaim Jesus the Son of God who died on a cross and was resurrected by the Father in bodily form at oneness with the Father and Holy Spirit.

Quotes of Quran from “The Quran and Christianity” (6/23/16):

In the Quran, Christians are generally referred to as “people of the book” and then in the various suras and ayahs (or chapters and verses) a number of references are made. In 2:120, “Never will the Jews nor the Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion. Say: ‘Verily, Islamic Guidance is the only Guidance. And if you were to follow their desires after what you have received of Knowledge, then you would have against Allah neither any protector nor helper.”

In 3:56: “As to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in this world and in the Hereafter, and they will have no helpers." In 3:85: “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him, and in the Hereafter he will be one of the losers.” In 3:118: “O you who believe! Take not as your helpers or friends those outside your religion since they will not fail to do their best to corrupt you. They desire to harm you severely. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their breasts conceal is far worse. Indeed we have made plain to you the verses if you understand.”

3:178 states: “And let not the disbelievers think that our postponing of their punishment is good for them. We postpone the punishment only so that they may increase in sinfulness. And for them is a disgracing torment.” Hardly encouraging for the basis for a peaceful co-existence and a comfortable pluralism.

Muslims reject the idea that Jesus was God and consider the belief blasphemous (Sura 5:75).  Islam says that Jesus was an apostle of Allah just like all the other apostles of Allah (Sura 5:78).  The Qur’an says that anyone who believes Jesus is “the Son of God” is imitating “what the unbelievers of old used to say.  God’s curse be on them; how they are deluded away from the Truth” (Sura 9:30). …

Islam says that Jesus was never crucified on a cross

There are several competing theories put forth by different Muslim scholars concerning Jesus and the cross.  Nevertheless, they all contain the belief that Jesus did not die on the cross for the sins of the world…or anything else (Sura 4:157).

Here are some Quran quotes from “JESUS THE "SON" OF GOD”:

Muhammad, the founder of Islam, misunderstood what the term "Son of God" meant with respect to Christianity.  He thought of it only in terms of sexual reproduction, i.e. that God fathered a child through sexual intercourse with Mary.  Therefore he spoke out against it.

Christians also reject that God had physical intercourse with Mary, but we understand Christ being God's Son as an analogical term.  We believe that the eternal Son of God, one with the Father from all eternity, united to Him in one Spirit, "became flesh and dwelt among us" (John 1:14), and took "the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men" (Philippians 2:7).  We believe in the incarnation of the Son of God.

Muhammad did hear the Christians proclaim Jesus the Messiah as God's Son, but understanding or not, he specifically denied that Jesus was the Son of God.  He said in the Quran,

Sura 2:116 - "They say:  "God has begotten a son".   Glory be to Him.  No, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth:  everything renders worship to Him."

and,

Sura 9:30 - "The Christians say the Messiah is the Son of God, that is a saying from their mouths."

Muhammad was unable to distinguish between the Christian belief in Jesus as the Son of God and the Arab Pagan belief in idols as offspring of God, i.e., Al-Lat, Al-Uzza, and Manat, (these were idols worshipped around Mecca as daughters of the supreme God - or Allah).   Muhammad misunderstood that Christians in no way consider Jesus - the Son of God, in the same way the Arab Pagans understood their idols.

I think you get the idea. There will never be equal rights for a Christian residing in a nation in which the Quran and Sharia Law define culture and society and its rule of law.

That’s my take though and not Shamim’s.

Should Shamim give up and quite being a Rights Advocate for Pakistani-Christians? ABSOLUTELY NOT! On Christ’s ascension to the right hand of the Father He gave a message to the disciples who were the minority of their faith in their day:

16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted.

18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore[a] and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.[b] (Matthew 28: 16—20 NKJV)

14 Later He appeared to the eleven as they sat at the table; and He rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen Him after He had risen. 15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[a] will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

19 So then, after the Lord had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sat down at the right hand of God. 20 And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs. Amen.[b] (Mark 16: 14-20 NKJV)

36 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” 37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them,“Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.”

40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.[a]41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” 42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb.[b] 43 And He took it and ate in their presence.

44 Then He said to them, “These are the words which I spoke to you while I was still with you, that all things must be fulfilled which were written in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms concerning Me.” 45 And He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.

46 Then He said to them, “Thus it is written, and thus it was necessary for the Christ to suffer and to rise[c] from the dead the third day, 47 and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. (Luke 24: 36-47 NKJV)

AND this is why Shamim Mahmood should NEVER stop being a Christian Rights Advocate among a Muslim Sunni majority that have been taught to hate non-Muslims their entire lives.

Way Out to Long Sufferings
Join hands to save the lives of Pakistani Christians

By Shamim Mahmood

Islamabad (Shamim Masih):

7 And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. 8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the Hivites and the Jebusites. 9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to Me, and I have also seen the oppression with which the Egyptians oppress them. 10. Come now, therefore, and I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring My people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt.” (Exodus 1:7-10)

The world has seen surly seen the oppression of Christians living in Pakistan. Since Zia’s regime, there are more than 1400 blasphemy cases registered and thousands of the Christians girls have faced force conversions and huge numbers of persecution cases were registered against religious minorities. According to the sources more than sixty people accused of blasphemy were killed before their respective trials were over though the death sentence has never been implemented.

Affected before partition of Indo-Pak, this section was introduced in 1860 [Blog Editor: See the PDF “Blasphemy Laws in Pakistan: A Historical Overview” Beginning page 9 for British 1860 blasphemy law & Pakistan Penal Code (Act XLV of 1860)] and was meant to prevent religious violence. Prior to 1986, only 14 cases pertaining to blasphemy were reported. But later it is being used to settle personal secures. And thus minorities of the country have been facing persecution under this unsympathetic blasphemy law.

To me persecution of Pakistani Christians is aligned with other issues as well, like poverty. There are different options to get rid of long sufferings. Being an optimist, here are few recommendations, and I feel this is workable and can minimize the level of persecution. Major portion of this marginalized community lives in outskirts under/below the poverty line. Ninety percent of poor girls work as maids and thus become the victims of domestic violence or being raped. This leads to being forcefully married and are asked [Blog Editor: more often forced] to convert to Islam. A major portion of the youth are unemployed or work as laborers with a low salary or bonded labor. Practically speaking, any Christian working under Muslim bosses face discrimination in/on a regular basis. Even Isfan Yar Bhandara [or Isphanyar M. Bhandara] (minority parliamentarian) confessed that minority parliamentarians receive discriminatory development funds [Blog Editor: 2 articles on discriminatory practices with Development Funds – HERE & HERE] in the lower house.

Education is the first and foremost priority, go to school is a right of every child and to ensure the provision of an education facility can fix the problem. Church based institutions and other buildings can be used to educate the Christian community. Big donor agencies can take this initiative and I assure you after fifteen years, things would miraculously change. Drop out ratio has gone higher ever since the standard of the public school education cannot meet the required result and education at private sector is much expensive.

So provision of better employment opportunities to the marginalized segment of society is the only solution for a better future. There are a number of measures one can take to save their skin. For example; providing small loans in establishing their own businesses in livestock, petty trading, agriculture, stitching, embroidery, handicrafts and small scale rural manufacturing can raise the living standard of the poor population. This will help them start earning on their own instead of relying continuously on cash grants by some donor agencies/church based organizations. Any interest free loan scheme can alleviate unemployment and poverty from this marginalized segment.

There may be some organizations working on the same issues but we need to take as a challenge and start working at broader level. Otherwise there are a number of options youth can choose on their own, that may be destructive not constructive. So I suggest constructive measures can save Pakistani Christians as a sense of deprivation is prevailing among the Christian youth in Pakistan. And it’s an alarming situation.

Be Blessed,
Shamim Mahmood

Valiant Pakistan Christian needs YOUR HELP

Shamim Masih and wife Namja

John R. Houk
© September 21, 2015

You may have seen Shamim Masih’s name on many a guest post on my blogs. Shamim is from Pakistan with, in my opinion, an unfortunate circumstance. He is a Christian in a Muslim majority nation that claims the odd duality of being a secular republic and an Islamic republic.

The Western Union link to send funds to Shamim is this: Send Money Online (You may need to include Shamim’s phone number for identification purposes: +92-300-642-4560).

Pakistan became an independent nation in 1947 when the former British raj divided India along the lines of religion; viz. a West and East Pakistan as Muslim and the majority of the Indian subcontinent as Hindu. In both sides of the partition there were and still are minorities smaller than the Muslim majority and Hindu majority.

The person credited for pushing the partition of India was Mohammed (alternate spelling include Muhammad) Ali Jinnah who viewed that an independent India would marginalize the significant sized Muslim minority on the subcontinent. Jinnah promised a secular republic that all people no matter their religious faith would have political equal rights, but the emphasis would be Islamic. The problem for Pakistan is that Jinnah died a little over a year after Pakistan independence in 1947.

Some people of note wonder how successful Jinnah would have been to institute the vision he proclaimed for Pakistan if he had lived longer. To make things short in regard to Pakistan’s current political status, Pakistan quickly devolved into an Islamic Supremacist nation in which political rights and privileges became dominated by the Sunni-Islam majority. Roughly this translates that all the minorities of Pakistan (including Shia-Muslims and Ahmadi-Muslims) were treated with disdain and persecution. This disdain was institutionalized by the Sunni leaders that dominated the Pakistani government.

Just as a short aside, India has developed a more democratic representative government than Pakistan. The Indian governing elites have had a better history in at least attempting political equality between Hindus vs. the minorities. BUT there has been a history of strife between the Hindu majority and India’s minorities and even within Hinduism due to that religion’s caste system.

We don’t hear much about Pakistan in the American press except once in a while in terms of cooperating and/or hindering the war being prosecuted in Afghanistan due to Islamic terrorism perpetrated on September 11, 2001. Islamic terrorists under the guise of al Qaeda attacked American soil that resulted in nearly 3,000 immediate deaths which grows even in this present day as the past rescue effort has had continuous effects. BUT the American press should pay more attention on how Pakistan’s Sunni leaders and populace has made that nation one of the most dangerous for minorities to live in for the entire world:

IN ITS latest global report, the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) described Pakistan as presenting one of the "worst situation(s) in the world" in respect of liberty of thought. It cited the authorities' "grossly indequate [sic]" response to attacks on Shia processions and mosques which had cost hundreds of lives; the fact that the Ahmadis, who follow a religious teacher of the 19th century, are denied the right to call themselves Muslims, deprived of many other civil rights, and virtually disenfranchised; forced conversions and kidnappings affecting both Christians and Hindus; and above all a blasphemy law with a very low threshold of proof, which can easily be invoked in the course of petty quarrels unrelated to religion.
Over the past month, the news about religion in Pakistan has become worse, whether this is measured by the behaviour of officialdom or the horrors suffered by ordinary folk at the hands of terrorists or fanatics. In the last few years he has been a voice crying in the wilderness trying to expose this blatant inhumanity that effects Pakistani Christians. Here is just a small example of the risks a Christian faces in Pakistan:

It all started with the promise of what seemed to be an innocent shopping trip with a friend. But when the 12-year-old Christian girl traveled into the town of Lahore with her friend one day last January, she had no idea that everything in her world was about to go terribly wrong.
She was kidnapped by the friend’s uncle and driven more than 120 miles away, where she was subsequently raped and forced to sign papers consenting to marriage to the man. And when she refused to give in to his demands that she convert from Christianity to Islam, she was severely beaten.
The nightmare continued for the next eight months, as the girl was repeatedly raped and beaten until she finally converted. Fortunately, she eventually managed to escape from her abductor and contacted her parents to tell them of her whereabouts.
But the family’s troubles were far from over. When the kidnapping was investigated, it was revealed that, although the girl’s father had reported her missing eight months before, the police had never looked into her disappearance. And when Lashkar-e-Tayyaba, a militant Islamic group, contacted the authorities about the young girl, they produced a marriage certificate claiming that she was married to one of their members — despite the fact that the legal age for marriage in Pakistan is 16. To make matters worse, the authorities suggested to the girl’s family that if the girl was not turned over to her “legal” husband, charges would be filed against them.

The State of Christian Persecution in Pakistan
 ·       The abduction, forced marriage, and conversion of Christian girls by Muslims has become a disturbing trend in Pakistan; in fact, it is estimated that as many as 700 girls are abused in this manner each year. In most of these cases, the authorities rarely take action and the girls are never returned to their families. If the girls are raped and become pregnant, it is nearly impossible for the courts to release them from their captors.
 ·       If a girl does manage to leave her Muslim family and attempts to return to Christianity, she is considered an apostate and is liable to be killed, despite the fact that she was forcibly converted.
 ·       According to Jonathan Racho with International Christian Concern, “Rape has been used as a weapon of persecution against Christian girls in Pakistan, where Christians are treated as third-class citizens. In the Muslim majority country, Christian girls are particularly vulnerable to these types of crimes because Muslim authorities are reluctant to protect them when their rights are being violated by Muslims.”
 ·       Nazir Bhatti, president of the Pakistan Christian Congress, has stated that over 99.9 percent of rape cases involving Christian women go unreported.

Shamim has been reporting on these kind of incidents for quite some time. In case you haven’t figured it out, this means Shamim Masih risks his life every time his name is on something in print.

Easter Packages for prisoners outside Adayla Jail April 2015

Shamim, as far as I am aware of, is not an ordained minister, BUT he often does the work of a minister by visiting the Christian imprisoned, Christian victims of violent Muslims and I have viewed pictures of him involved in ministry to Pakistani Christian children.

I want to emphasize the work of Shamim because is a guy VERY WORTHY of financial support. I’ll be honest to my fellow Americans. Supporting Shamim is not going to be a tax deduction unless you find a 501(c)(3) organization in the USA willing to send funds to this valiant Christian in Pakistan.

You should also be aware Shamim Masih is a family probably the same as you and I. He has children. Children need to go to school to receive an education. According to Wikipedia here is the Pakistan official stance on education for children:

… Article 25-A of Constitution of Pakistan obligates the state to provide free and compulsory quality education to children of the age group 3 to 16 years. "The State shall provide free and compulsory education to all children of the age of five to sixteen years in such a manner as may be determined by law".[3]
The education system in Pakistan is generally divided into six levels: Primary education (for the age from 2.5 to 5 years); primary (grades one through five); middle (grades six through eight); high (grades nine and ten, leading to the Secondary School Certificate or SSC); intermediate (grades eleven and twelve, leading to a Higher Secondary (School) Certificate or HSC); and university programs leading to undergraduate and graduate degrees.[4] (Education in Pakistan; Wikipedia; Last Modified – 9/11/15 18:35)

Public Education in Pakistan is based on the Islamic Supremacist model:

Islamic extremism in Pakistan has its roots in the country’s educational system. As long as religious hatred is taught in school text books, discrimination and intolerance towards minorities will continue to thrive among young people.
Schools are at the heart of the problem but at the same time, they are the key to defeating terrorism and religious extremism in Pakistan. Many are adamant about this: experts, educators, bishops, civil society organisations, politicians and scholars alike. “For as long as the jihad begins in the classroom and religious hatred is fostered through state school text books, it will not be easy to imagine this country as one that exudes tolerance, a peace-building country that strives for harmony,” Professor James Paul Anjum explained to Vatican Insider. Mr. Anjum is a Christian and President of the Pakistan Minorities Teachers’ Association (PMTA). (The christians minorities in Pakistan: the problem in the education system; Written by Early Christians; EarlyChristians.org; 7/28/15 00:00)

Christian children that are brave enough to attend Pakistan’s public schools will face discrimination and derision from the Sunni Muslims. Their texts books will about how peaceful Muhammad was even though he slaughtered Jews and Christians as he pillaged his way to dominate the Arabian Peninsula. While you listen and read this as a Christian student you probably will learn that Jesus not only never died on the Cross but also was not the Son of God. So you can guess the level of education for Christian children is much diminished unless you pay for that education.

… In Pakistan it is very common for Christians to be relegated to work in the least desirable fields. Among many jobs the most common are cleaning people’s private residences and collecting and disposing of garbage. There are several reasons this is so but one of the most obvious reasons is that the Christian community in Pakistan cannot afford to educate itself. Education is expensive and the Christian community lacks the resources to pay for a proper education. The inability to access a better education causes Christians to hand down these bad jobs to their children and perpetuate a negative cycle. A few days ago I received this email from my valiant Christian friend Shamim Masih:

This is the actual situation, I am suffering with: Today the school management sent back to home my children due the non-payment of school fee for the last three months.

I queried Shamim what kind of tuition he was looking at for his children in terms of U.S. dollars. Shamim emailed back $300.

Surely there ten Americans willing to donate $30 or thirty Americans willing to donate $10. Even if Shamim receives an excess of his children’s educational needs, he is truly a workman worthy of your support. You may even wish to send a monthly support for Shamim and his family’s needs especially as long as the Lord is providing protection in an Islamic Supremacist nation.
