Joseph Farah of WND sent an email promoting the third annual 9/11 Day of Prayer and Repentance. Farah begins with the recent SCOTUS decision that essentially told God Almighty He is in error for condemning any proclivity toward homosexual sex as an abomination. SCOTUS accomplished this usurpation of God’s prerogative as Creator by the unconstitutional activist rewriting of law forcing ALL American States to accept same-sex marriage.

The Supreme Court’s slow but sure whittling away of the moral standards of America by creating law rather than telling Congress to address a legal issue has activated a slow decent into a sewer humanist morality. The decent has been so slow that Americans are like the adage of a frog tossed in a pot of water which doesn’t notice it is slowly being boiled to death.

In truth there is only two ways for moral Americans to reclaim a USA that is exceptional once again: the Founding Fathers’ path of Revolution OR humbling ourselves before Almighty God in prayer and repentance OR both.

Our country is in a deep spiral of moral and spiritual descent.  As believers, this fact is starkly clear. The Bible declares that such things lead to national judgment.  The biblical warning signs of national judgment that appeared in the last days of ancient Israel are now reappearing on American soil (The Harbinger, Jonathan Cahn). The Bible declares that the prayers and repentance of God’s people can help facilitate, repentance, revival, healing, and restoration.  

This has resulted in 9/11 Pray – a Day of Prayer and Repentance The call for such a day first started September 11, 2013 and was first sounded by Joseph Farah, of World Net Daily and producer of The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment.  It to was early affirmed by Jonathan Cahn, Michele Bachmann, Greg Laurie, Chuck Norris, and more and the movement kept spreading. 

 9/11 Pray: National Day of Prayer and Repentance is appointed for believers across the nation to pray according to the pattern in 2 Chronicles 7:14 ‘If My people who are called by name will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their evil ways, I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.’ 

 It will be a day for believers to humble themselves, pray, to seek God’s face, and to turn, in repentance, from their sinful ways and having done that, to pray and intercede for America, for God’s mercy and purpose, for revival. 

 This is being initiated and led by the Spirit of God moving on the hearts of believers and leaders across the nation, and not by any one organization or effort. 

 It is a call for both individual and corporate prayer and repentance.  It is open to all believers.  Any individual, any church, any ministry, any Bible study, any leader can join in – with individual prayer, prayer services, gatherings in church, gatherings in one’s region, town or city, media events, fasting, intercession, worship, etc….however the Lord leads. The most important thing is that God's people come before Him in prayer and repentence (sic) for themselves and America.

AMERICA: Prayer Can Reverse a Downward Spiral

In the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision to impose homosexual "marriage" on the nation, WND CEO Joseph Farah says it is more important than ever for Americans to repent. And he's calling for believers in God throughout the country to participate in the third annual "9/11 Day of Prayer and Repentance."

"When America was founded 239 years ago, fellow believers fought to establish and protect the role of God in preserving the fabric of our country. We are a nation originally built on and by prayer. Today, as Christians, we can look around and readily see that our beloved homeland is tragically broken and our culture is disintegrating and dramatically moving away from God," he said.

But he said the solution is available.

"How can we save America? What would our founders do if faced with such predicaments? Those of us who understand the challenges we face for the very survival of America as one nation under God must start planning now to do something radical," he said.

"That something is the 2015 nationwide day of prayer and repentance."

The "9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance" began in 2013 with an editorial column at WND.com calling for "a nationwide day of prayer, fasting and humility" to respond to national challenges rivaling "anything we've seen since the start of World War II."

Though Farah did not anticipate it, pastors, preachers, rabbis, and others around the country responded enthusiastically and what he initially termed a "throwaway" column became a movement.

Thousands of churches and hundreds of thousands of individuals have participated in the "9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance" in previous years. However, this year's event takes on special significance because of contemporary events in politics and culture.

Jonathan Cahn, the well-known Bible teacher and author who warned years ago of divine judgment if America did not reject secularism, has suggested America is already a "post-Christian" nation and that bathing the White House in the colors of the homosexual "rainbow flag" was "a sign of desecration covering the White House."

Cahn's warning to the Supreme Court not to implement homosexual "marriage" and to turn back to God went viral racking up millions of views in only a few days.

Joseph Farah and his wife Elizabeth trace the beginnings of the "9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance" to their efforts producing the most successful faith movie of 2012-2013, "The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment," based on Cahn's New York Times best-selling book, "The Harbinger."

Farah says "the movie has had a profound impact on millions with its biblically based revelations of how God's judgment is befalling our land as it did ancient Israel" and Cahn has affirmed the "9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance."

Cahn's work shows how the Israelites responded to catastrophe with pride and defiance, rather than prayer. In his interpretation, this led to catastrophe for the Jewish people.

Seeing contemporary Americans in a similar situation, Farah believes, "If there is one word that could instantaneously reverse the critical state that our nation is in today, it is this – repentance."

In his view, the "9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance" is an effort to urge the entire nation to repent and avoid destruction.

Other leaders are also stepping forward to encourage Christians to participate in the effort, including Michele Bachmann and Chuck Norris.

Also Richard Land, president of the Southern Evangelical Seminary, who has promoted the event:

Ken Ham, president and founder of Answers in Genesis, is another supporter.

Farah said of the event, "September 11 will be a day for believers to humble themselves, pray, fast, seek God's face, and personally repent of sin. Having done that, it is also a day to pray and intercede for God's mercy upon America. The Spirit of God is moving in the hearts of believers all across this nation to initiate this event, and the 9/11 Day of Prayer & Repentance is being promoted and carried out by a variety of organizations and leadership efforts."

Farah encourages pastors to open their churches on Wednesday, Sept. 11, to allow both their community of members and their communities at large to gather and pray.

Individuals can also participate in the effort in several ways, according to organizers:

·       Pledge to pray as an individual or a group and to receive FREE devotionals and other resources at 911dayofprayer.org. The website has more information on how to participate, the resources available and how to stay in touch for updates. Sign up today.

·       Pass the word, (send, forward, and post this), to as many people and groups as possible. Learn more at 911DayofPrayer.org and let your pastors, congregations, and friends know about this event and put it on the calendar.

·       Plan to participate either as a group locally, on the national conference call or other event you create in concert with the day.

·       Most importantly, prepare to repent by praying in advance of the day & be led by the Lord as to how you can participate.

Farah points to 2 Chronicles 7:14, which reads, "... if My people, who are called by name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their evil ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." (NKJV)

Farah condemns the response of the contemporary culture to America's challenges.

"The people of America are responding predictably to today's culture by doing what's 'right in their own eyes' – as the people of Israel did before their judgment. No longer does Washington see itself as a servant of the people, but rather as their master. Man's conventional answers are not going to work. God will not be silently mocked by blatant disregard.

"As followers of Christ, we are at a crossroads. The number of Americans with godly values appears to be rapidly declining, and it is imperative for the church to turn away from culture and turn to Scripture to find answers. Second Chronicles tells us that God desires to heal our land. Our part is clear – to humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our evil ways."

Is Obama creating a pro-gay Boy Scouts of America?

With all the Left Wing Occupy Wall Street (view from Right and Neutral view) you might think an organization like Ernst & Young would not be so cozy with the Obama Administration and the Leftist Change that Administration is shoving down the throat of American voters.

Nonetheless, James Turley the global chairman and CEO of the accounting firm Ernst & Young has been cozying up to President Obama  and the President’s Leftist Change Agenda by going after the Boy Scouts of America (BSA) because the youth organization stands by its traditional Family Values by rejecting homosexual leadership among the young boys that make up the BSA.

Chuck Norris takes issue with Obama’s pro-homosexual stance and his alienation of the BSA and connects James Turley of Ernst & Young as a joint partner in bringing public acceptance of ungodly homosexuality. Norris does not specifically say so; there is the conspiracy look of money and Leftist politics uniting in the unholy cause of the homosexual agenda.

Exclusive: Chuck Norris exposes White House pal attacking group's century-old policy

A Boy Scouts of America national board member, James Turley, who is also global chairman and CEO of the accounting firm Ernst & Young, recently said he “will work from within to seek a change” to overturn the BSA policy that bans gay scouts and leaders. But is Turley working on his own initiative, or has the White House prodded him with perks and favors?

Is it a coincidence that Turley came out swinging against the BSA’s century-old policy to ban gays from leadership and that he has such close affiliations with the pro-gay Obama administration?

Is it a coincidence that Turley and his wife, Lynne, were just guests at a state dinner hosted by President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama in honor of U.K. Prime Minister David Cameron at the White House on March 14, 2012?

Is it a coincidence that Turley was nominated to President Barack Obama’s Export Council in 2010?

Is it a coincidence Turley was granted a seat on an investment advisory panel which met with none other than Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin in Moscow on Oct. 17, 2011?

Is it a coincidence that Turley has been a global cheerleader for Obama’s economic strategies and an economic-ambassador-of-sorts to other mogul business leaders, as clearly seen in his Bloomberg media interview from the 2011 economic summit in Davos, Switzerland?

Is it a coincidence that the former assistant secretary for tax policy at the U.S. Treasury from 2009 to 2011, Michael Mundaca, who advised Treasury Secretary Geithner on all matters relating to taxation, recently joined the team of Ernst & Young?

Is it a coincidence that, as the White House website explained, “Ernst & Young LLP will honor [the Obama administration's Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship's] youth entrepreneurs at regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of The Year Award galas across the country, bringing important attention to the next generation of young entrepreneurs”?

Is it a coincidence that a couple months ago President Obama reversed his position on marriage, extending the union to gay couples, and that James Turley just came out of the closet in his position against the BSA?

Is it a coincidence that in the same couple-week period when James Turley turned on the BSA with his pro-gay stance that President Obama turned on the U.S. military and sent down a decree that the service branches must celebrate “Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month”?

Is it a coincidence that back in January 2010 President Obama nominated Katherine G. Hammack, who was formerly a leader in Ernst & Young’s Climate Change and Sustainability Services, as the assistant secretary of the Army (Installations and Environment), Department of Defense?

Is it a coincidence that Turley is in tight cahoots with the White House and that he is the only BSA national board member in 100 years to oppose its pro-traditional family stance?

Is it plausible that Turley and his associates had weekly contact with someone in Obama’s administration about all the above over the last couple years but there was never any dialogue or influence about Turley’s possibly pro-gay prodding on the National Board of the BSA?

Is it a coincidence that Turley just announced his resignation as CEO of Ernst and Young (effective June 2013) and that he’s now offering the White House a parting-pro-gay BSA gift in gratitude for all its presidential favors to him and Ernst & Young over the past few years?

These Turley-Obama cords, connections and correlations are only the tip of the iceberg.

(I’m sure even the correspondences between Turley and the White House might reveal further insider collaborations, but odds are, if anyone were to inquire about those papers, they would likely be locked down under executive privilege, just as in the “Fast & Furious” cover-up.)

Is it a coincidence, too, that on March 3, 2009, Obama became the honorary president of the BSA – a position proudly and publicly held and highlighted by all presidents since President William Howard Taft in 1910, but that Obama’s induction was held behind closed doors in the Oval Office with seven or so Boy Scouts present and absolutely nothing noted in the White House daily briefing or any other official communication? (Interesting note: When one searches the White House website, the term “gay” pulls up 42,700 results, while “Boy Scouts” displays a mere 342 references.)

Is it a coincidence that President Obama was unable to attend the 100th Anniversary Gala of the Boy Scouts of America in his own backyard (Washington, D.C.) on Feb. 9, 2010, because he had to hold his first national press conference?

Is it a coincidence that as the honorary BSA president and a “constitutional lawyer” that Obama hasn’t had one minute in his schedule over the past years to defend or say anything about the series of lawsuits that have been levied against the BSA because of its First Amendment rights to stand against atheists, agnostics and homosexuals?

It is a coincidence that Obama will stand up repeatedly for the children of illegal immigrants (and grant them amnesty and the taxpayers’ monies) but that he will not once stand up for children in the BSA and the organization’s rights and freedoms to hold their own core values and beliefs?

For years, I’ve signed and sent out hundreds of Eagle Scout recognition letters. And I’ve personally known a host of Boy Scouts, Eagle Scouts and other Boy Scout leadership. These individuals epitomize the best of America. Indeed, the BSA is as integral of a part to American life and culture as hot dogs, baseball and Grandma’s apple pie.

I couldn’t agree more with Bob Gates, former director of the Central Intelligence Agency, when he explained: “I think that American leadership is vital to peace and prosperity and the advancement of democracy in the world, and that requires having strong leaders. And I don’t think there’s any organization in the world, certainly not in the United States, that better prepares young men for leadership in this country than the Boy Scouts of America – in teaching leadership skills, in teaching values, in teaching importance of standing up for what’s right.”

Even President John F. Kennedy proudly proclaimed at the 50th anniversary celebration of the BSA: “For more than 50 years, Scouting has played an important part in the lives of the Boy Scouts of this nation. It has helped to mold character, to form friendships, to provide a worthwhile outlet for the natural energies of growing boys and to train these boys to become good citizens of the future. … In a very real sense, the principles learned and practiced as Boy Scouts add to the strength of America and her ideals.”

Hasn’t America reached a new low in its history when the president of the United States (and the honorary president of the BSA!) distances himself and his administration from the Boy Scouts of America and yet invites groups like the Secular Student Alliance to participate in its faith and college missions?

I’ll ask once more: Is it a coincidence that the BSA National Board Member James Turley came out swinging against the century-old policy to ban gays from leadership and that he has such close affiliations with the pro-gay Obama administration?

How does the adage go?

If two people think so much alike, you can bet that one person isn’t thinking.

Or maybe a more fitting adage here might be: You scratch my back and I’ll scratch yours.

Activist Conservative Constructionist Judiciary

Okay I have to admit I am a Chuck Norris fan from his martial arts, Hollywood and TV entertainment. Saying that I am gratified Norris is in the Conservative realm of thinking. Does being a noted Personality discredit him from having political opinions made public? I believe the answer is no. If it was yes then the huge profile of politically active Leftist actors should have no influence, yet we all know they do.

Norris wrote an article which I read at Human Events concerning the danger our nation faces with President Barack Hussein Obama nominating Federal Judicial appointees of the same mold as his extra-Constitutional Czars and many of his Executive Branch appointments. That mold is Leftist. Indeed, the Leftist mold is radical.

The scope of the appointees is a decent snapshot of what BHO meant when he campaigned for Change. That Change is a socio-political transformation away from what has made America great. And it is true, America is great. Regardless of American Leftist self-loathing and concerns from many of our Slanted Left friends of Europe, America is great.

Has America made mistakes and moral lapses? Undoubtedly.

Has America become a domineering empire squashing war-losing nations into abject submission? The answer is not even close to the nature of historical world empires utilizing military victories to secure power and domination. Quite the contrary: The U. S. A. has been unnaturally benevolent in the first two global wars. President Wilson attempted to establish a League of Nations after entering WWI to shift the balance to victory for the more democratic nations. The irony being the U. S. Senate did not ratify membership of America in the League. By the end of WWII America had become the supreme military power providing aid to rebuild the destruction of winners and losers alike. Yes America is great.

The transformation which President BHO imagines must mean the jettisoning of America’s Christian foundations and the Christian morality that our Founding Fathers initiated from the influence of the earliest colonialists through the Declaration of Independence and framed for our future in the U. S. Constitution. Forget the Leftist argument that many of our Founding Fathers were Deists. Even the Deists believed in a rule of law that was encapsulated from Christian Morality and Christian Godliness.

Chuck Norris shouts in writing that we must raise a voice to support a Conservative Federal Judiciary. We all know Leftist Judges and Justices are activist in the thought of an evolving “Living Constitution.” Meaning laws are not interpreted based on their intent but on how laws should affect America’s future. Leftists and Secular Humanists view traditional Christianity as an archaic anomaly unworthy of respect because they are the nice words of history largely based on human myth. It is no wonder that as a Leftist transformation progresses, America becomes a less safe place to live.

Americans lock their doors. Americans worry about a troubled child or teenager becoming deranged and walking into a school and going Columbine on their sons and daughters. Americans are continually pumped with propaganda that homosexual rights are an innate portion of humanity when the Creator in His Word stipulates otherwise. Pornography has become so normal in America that parents concerned about raising decent children insist that personal computers and laptops be used in very open family areas. A Conservative and a Christian could go on and on how a Leftist transformation has diluted a great America.

In effect Chuck Norris is calling for Judges and Justices to become Conservative activists to counter the Leftist activist judiciary. Many a Conservative have a problem with the word “activist” used next to the word “judiciary.” The Conservative thought being why can’t a Judge or Justice weigh a law according to Constitutional intent with fairness. Unfortunately in the 21st century the old fashioned constructionist Judge or Justice is considered a Conservative by the Left. Hence, a call for an activist Conservative Judiciary is merely a call for constructionist interpretation of the U. S. Constitution.

So I say go Chuck Norris in calling for Americans to battle the appointments of Leftist “Living Constitution” Judges and Justices. After all the Left battled President Reagan and President Bush’s appointments of constructionist judges out of fear of reversing a Leftist American transformation that began in the 1960’s and is receiving a huge accelerated push from President Barack Hussein Obama.
