The islamic practice of "Muruna" -- using “flexibility” to blend in with the enemy or the surroundings.

Muslims practice muruna in the same way a chameleon changes colors to avoid detection. Muslims show no discernible signs when they are being deceitful because there is no feeling of guilt. In their minds they are doing exactly what Allah wants them to do to advance Islam.

Obama was simply being a "good muslim" when taking his oath, no matter which book he wore his oath upon.

This is not to be confused with Takiyya or Tawriya... which are respectively: dissimulation and concealing.

There is also Kitman, which is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth.

All in all, Obama [piss be upon him] has used all of these - and to good effect on most American Sheeple. They have accepted, and believe his lies in any and all forms.

The rest of us see him for what and who he is... and what danger he represents to this nation.

I’ve known about Taqiyya and Kitman for some time now. The Islamic transliterations of Tawriya and Muruna are new to me. So I thought I’d do a little Googling on the four Muslim terms which all have to do with fashion or another of lying or deception in Islam. Thus this post will not really be at all original but an old fashion copy and paste exercise to make Americans and Westerners aware of the practices institutionalized in Islamic theo-political ideology to spread their cult across the globe to the detriment of free people everywhere.

I am taking four websites from different post years not necessarily in order. I’m going to begin with the terms I am most unfamiliar with – Muruna and Tawriya. Then follow that with the two terms I am familiar with – Kitman and Taqiyya. (Take note there are various transliterations from Arabic to English and that is the reason one may see different spellings for the same word.)

Muruna

Muruna is perhaps the biggest deception practiced by Muslims, as it allows them to be “flexible” regarding the commands of their faith in order to properly blend in with the society around them.  Muruna permits Muslims to shave their beards, wear Western clothing, listen to Western music, and even drink alcohol.

All of these deceptions go against specific commandments, as well as the overarching commandment against lying itself, that are found in the Koran.  But they are allowed so long as their use contributes to a greater goal or serves a greater commandment within the Koran, like spreading Islam among the infidels.

Americans who hold in high regard the founding principles and ideals of our country need to learn these terms, and …

Thus, as we can see, Muslims are empowered to lie, tell half-truths and dissemble about Islam and its doctrines (provided their “heart is comfortable with faith”) if doing so will give Islam an advantage – such as “defending” Islam/Mohammed, denying its/his more unpleasant attributes, or – as in the case above – giving a positive “spin” to Islam to make it more palatable to a non-Muslim audience.

This is why, to make any study of Islam, or to stand a chance of holding a valid opinion, it is vital to go back to the original documents.

But here, too, lies a problem. According to Islam, only the Arabic Koran is really the Quran itself – that is …

Tawriya allows Muslims to “creatively lie” by being purposely ambiguous about the real meaning of what they are saying.

Tawriya is defined as camouflage, and it’s also referred to as “creative lying”. Based upon (Reliance of the Traveller, sections o19.1 and o19.5) “It is acceptable to break the intent of the oath, as long as you don’t break the letter of the oath.”

Illustration: Suppose someone protests that Surah 1 of the Quran demeans Christians and Jews, because it is a request Muslims make to Allah 17 times a day to keep them from the path of “those with whom God is angry” and “those who have lost their way”. A Muslim might respond, “Surah 1 never mentions Jews or Christians.” He is practicing Tawriya, because while Surah 1 does not mention Jews and Christians by name, he clearly knows that the words “those” refer to Jews and Christians.

Kitman

Kitman is characterized by someone telling only part of the truth. The most common example of this is when a Muslim says that jihad really refers to an internal, spiritual struggle. He is not telling “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth”, as witnesses are sworn to do in U.S. courts. Often, kitman results in a gross distortion of the truth. In the example given, the Quran uses jihad and its derivatives 59 times. Of those, only 16 (27%) could be considered “internal” with no object as the target of the struggle based on the context of the surah.

Another common form of kitman is to quote only the few peaceful passages from the Quran, knowing full-well that that passage was later abrogated by a more militant, contradictory verse. Here is an example:

“There is no compulsion in religion” (Surah 2:256) Early Medina

This is Taqiyya’s “little brother”. Kitman is just providing incomplete information.

A widely used example of kitman is when Muslims say:

“whoever slays a soul, it is as though he slew all men” to show how highly Islam values human life (!).

However, put these verse fragments together with the start of the verse and the part omitted from the middle and the meaning changes:

“For this reason did We prescribe to the children of Israel that whoever slays a soul, unless it be for manslaughter or for mischief in the land, it is as though he slew all men”. (K5:32)

Now we can clearly see that this statement refers to the Jews alone (the people most reviled by Islam) and so does not apply to Muslims at all. Further …

Kitman is a term that means Muslims are permitted to tell half-truths, or partial truths, while concealing the greater whole truth.  Discussion of “jihad” as being only an “inner” or “spiritual” struggle is an example of Kitman, as technically it is true that jihad refers to a spiritual struggle, but conceals the very real physical struggle that is also encompassed by jihad.

NOTE: It must be understood that there are two categories of Quranic verses: Pre-Medina (Meccan) and Post-Medina (Medinan). The Meccan or peaceful verses were written when Muhammed was trying to persuade followers in Mecca, from the Pagans, Jews and Christians. The Medinan verses were written after Muhammed was rejected as prophet by Jews and Christians. These are the violent verses which replaced the peaceful ones.

Taqiyya

Takiyya is defined as dissimulation about ones Muslim identity. It comes from the verse in the Quran that says, “Let believers not make friends with infidels in preference to the faithful – he that does has nothing to hope for from Allah – except in self-defense (illaa an-tattaqu minhum tuqah) (Surah 3:28). This “self-defense” justifies dissimulation. Islamic Sharia Law provides, “When it is possible to achieve an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible, and lying isobligatory if the goal is obligatory.” (Reliance of the Traveler, Para r8.2) Examples include lying to protect Islam or a Muslim.

Strictly, Taqiyya is a Shi’a doctrine, but Sunni Islam has its equivalent “Muda’rat”. For some reason, in the West (at least amongst non-Muslims), the doctrine is more widely known as Taqiyya.

“This is the Islamic practice of “precautionary dissimulation” [i.e. lying] whereby believers may conceal their Muslim faith when under threat, persecution or compulsion.” (Oxford Dictionary of Islam).

“The word “al-Taqiyya” literally means: “Concealing or disguising one’s beliefs, convictions [not just religious], ideas, feelings, opinions, and/or strategies at a time of eminent danger, whether now or later in time, to save oneself from physical and/or mental injury.”” (Abdul Hamid Siddiqui)

Comment: Thus, if you think you may be in danger physically or mentally at some point in the future from telling the truth, you are allowed to lie.

“al-Taqiyya is the uttering of the tongue, while the heart is comfortable with faith.” (Ibn Abbas) Comment: What this means is that you can say something “un-Islamic”, or lie, provided you retain Islamic belief.

Islam: A Permanent World War

You will hear Multiculturalists, Muslim apologists and deceptive Muslims tricking a non-Muslim to convert to Islam way that Islam is peace. The pseudonymous writer Fjordman explains that Islam actually means submission. AND the followers of Islam are to use any means necessary – deception, violence and/or war – to get all the people of the world to submit to Islam either by keeping their religion (officially only the people of the Book; i.e. Jews and Christians) but submitting to the rules of Islam, convert to Islam or die for refusing submission to Islam.

Fjordman essentially posits that this very nature of submission means Islamic terrorism will be a permanent state of war (or terrorism) until total Islamization is achieved. Don’t be fooled by the propaganda of peace!

This was originally posted just after the Islamic terrorist attacks in Paris, but the recent violence of the San Bernardino Massacre still applies and will undoubted apply wherever literal allegiance to the Muslim belief of perfection in the Quran and Mohammed exist.

On the evening of Friday November 13th 2015, Paris was shaken by a coordinated series of extremely brutal Islamic terror attacks that left at least 129 people dead and hundreds wounded. It is strongly suspected that the Jihadist group known as the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) was behind these bloody attacks against multiple targets in the French capital.^[1] This happened after the city had barely recovered from the Islamic massacre on the staff of the French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo some months earlier.

On October 31, 2015, a Russian passenger plane crashed over the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt, killing 224 people. Russian and Western intelligence services have concluded that the crash was an act of terrorism caused by a bomb.^[2] Jihadists associated with the Islamic State have claimed responsibility for this terror attack. If this is true, it means that militant Muslims from the Islamic State brutally murdered more than 350 Europeans in just two weeks.

Apologists claim that Islam is a religion of peace and that Islam means peace. This is not true. The Arabic word Islam means “submission,” not peace. A Muslim is a person who submits. Technically speaking, it is true that the terms Islam and Muslim are derived from the same three-letter root (s-l-m) as the word salaam. Salaam means peace, just as shalom does in the related Semitic language Hebrew. Yet that does not mean that Islam is peaceful. On the contrary, it indicates that peace is only possible after submission to Islamic rule and Islamic law. Peace is identical with submission to Islam. The absence of sharia law is the absence of peace. Islam is therefore essentially an ideology of eternal global war. It advocates the permanent incorporation of the non-Islamic Dar al-Harb, the “House of War,” into the Dar al-Islam, the “House of Islam” or “House of Submission.” The term “House of War” indicates that all areas under non-Islamic rule are viewed as a place of war until such areas cease to exist worldwide and submit to forces which are loyal to Allah and his Prophet. Some Islamic theologians use intermediate categories where Islam is making progress, yet does not yet reign supreme. However, the basic divide in Islamic theology is between the House of War and the House of Islam.

“It follows,” wrote the Islamic scholar Majid Khadduri, professor of the Middle East Studies Program at Johns Hopkins University, “that the existence of a dar-al-harb is ultimately outlawed under the Islamic jural order; that the dar al-Islam is permanently under jihad obligation until the dar al-harb is reduced to non-existence… The universality of Islam, in all its embracing creed, is imposed on the believers as a continuous process of warfare, psychological and political if not strictly military.”^[3]

Western audiences are perhaps familiar with the Muslim Brotherhood, a revivalist organization founded by Hassan al-Banna, which has included such individuals as the al-Qaida ideologue Sayyid Qutb and Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State (ISIS). Abul Ala Maududi, founder of Pakistan’s Jamaat-e-Islami (Party of Islam), was also one of the most influential Islamic ideologues of the twentieth century. He explained that the objective of Jihad, Islamic Holy War, “is to eliminate the rule of an un-Islamic system and establish in its stead an Islamic system of state rule. Islam does not intend to confine this revolution to a single state or a few countries; the aim is to bring about a universal revolution.” Maududi emphasized that while Jihad involves armed combat, Jihadists include all those who help achieve the ultimate goal of worldwide Islamic domination. Not just those who fight in the battlefield, but also the millions behind them who contribute to the effort.^[4]

The scholar Andrew Bostom and others have clearly proven that Islamic culture has never been “tolerant” in any meaningful sense of the word. This is a modern myth. Constant humiliations and occasional outbursts of deadly violence against non-Muslims have been a continuous feature of Islamic life for centuries, encouraged by Islamic religious scriptures. This is not a recent phenomenon, and it goes for both major branches of Islam. There are theological differences between Shias and Sunnis, but while these matter to Muslims themselves, they are of secondary importance to non-Muslims. Both Shia Islam and Sunni Islam encourage Jihad expansion, doctrines of Islamic supremacy and violent hatred of non-Muslims.

According to traditional Islamic history, the Treaty of Hudaybiyya was an agreement between Mohammad and his early Muslim followers in Medina, and the pre-Islamic pagan Quraysh tribe of Mecca. This is alleged to have taken place in the year 628 of our era. It affirmed a ten-year truce, a “hudna” or period of temporary calm. However, this truce was broken as soon as the Muslims felt that they were in a stronger position vis-à-vis their non-Muslim neighbors. A true and lasting peace on equal terms with non-Muslims is impossible, according to Islamic law. In the end, Islam can and should be globally triumphant. It is important to recall that the Sunna or personal example of Islam’s founder Mohammed and his early followers is intended to be valid for all times and all places. The Treaty of Hudaybiyya is therefore not merely of historical interest; it remains crucial for understanding how devout Muslims relate to non-Muslims today.

The traditional hadith literature of Sunni Muslims confirm Mohammad’s tactical formulation when waging Jihad: “War is deceit.” (Hadith Bukhari 4:269).^[5] In addition to this, we encounter the Islamic doctrines of taqiyya and kitman (concealment and disguise). This allows for Muslims to lie and cheat to others, if this can be used to further Islam’s cause. Such tactics are employed by Shia Muslims and Sunni Muslims alike.

Jihad is eternal. It entails a conflict that will never end, until the supremacy of Islam, Islamic rule and sharia laws have been established worldwide. Any agreement with non-Muslims is viewed as a hudna, similar to the Treaty of Hudaybiyya which Mohammed himself made with his non-Muslim opponents. Such a truce exists only so that Muslims can grow in strength and regain the upper hand. As soon as they feel they have the advantage, Muslims are encouraged to go on the offensive against the infidels again. As Andrew Bostom notes:

“In fact the consensus view of orthodox Islamic jurisprudence regarding jihad, since its formulation during the 8th and 9th centuries, through the current era, is that non-Muslims peacefully going about their lives—from the Khaybar farmers whom Muhammad ordered attacked in 628, to those sitting in the World Trade Center on 9/11/01 — are — muba’a, licit, in the Dar al Harb. As described by the great 20th century scholar of Islamic Law, Joseph Schacht, ‘A non-Muslim who is not protected by a treaty is called harbi, — ‘in a state of war’, — ‘enemy alien’; his life and property are completely unprotected by law…’ And these innocent non-combatants can be killed, and have always been killed, with impunity simply by virtue of being ‘harbis’ during endless razzias and or full scale jihad campaigns that have occurred continuously since the time of Muhammad, through the present. This is the crux of the specific institutionalized religio-political ideology, i.e., jihad, which makes Islamdom’s borders (and the further reaches of today’s jihadists) bloody, to paraphrase Samuel Huntington, across the globe.”^[6]

Islam contains elements of a traditional religion, but also elements of a totalitarian belief system centered around a personality cult of Mohammad. Islam is a creed of war, not a religion of peace. In theory, this war will end when all human beings on Earth have submitted to Islamic rule and eventually become Muslims. In practice, experience show us that Muslim societies are far from peaceful. Muslims will continue to fight amongst themselves over who are the best and truest Muslims. Islam can with some justification be classified as a permanent world war, a war that has so far been raging for fourteen centuries and claimed countless lives.

Defending Walid Shoebat against CNN and Muslim Apologists

I have a SlantRight YouTube Channel.

I posted a video that I found at WalidShoebat.com that was a discussion between Walid Shoebat, Robert Spencer and Dr. Zuhdi Jasser. The discussion was about if Islam could be reformed.

There have been many people who have attempted to discredit Walid Shoebat as a phony. Amazingly the criticism has arisen even from those that I consider anti-jihadist writers such as Debbie Schlussel and Eileen Fleming. I wrote a commentary on accusations hurled at Shoebat in a 2008 post entitled, “What about Walid Shoebat?” This post was a commentary on Shoebat received donations and accusations of plagiarism. My conclusion in 2008 was that the accusations against Shoebat were a he said/she said situation about the plagiarism and I found no direct link of impropriety by Shoebat on donations. I did think Shoebat’s answering of the donation scandal in 2008 was a bit vague and made him look bad. It is not a crime to look bad.

I do know that Walid Shoebat as a former Muslim at the least and as a former terrorist at the worst has done an effective job of exposing actions done in the name of Islam that are directly related to Islamic holy writings. This is the point in which Leftists and Muslim Apologists love to interrupt to obfuscate the subject by telling of atrocities performed in the name of Christ or the Christian Church.

I have to chuckle for the interruption is a bunch of inconvenient flatulence. Did horrendous acts of violence, torture and death occur in history performed in the name of the Church? The answer is YES ABSOLUTELY! Did those acts of evil occur because Christ commanded in the Gospels or at the behest of the Epistles of the New Testament? The answer is NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT!

Jesus spoke of living a life pleasing to God and to share the Good News He came to defeat the works of darkness in the spiritual realm and that His return would be a physical conquest of armies arrayed against the Kingdom of God. The Epistles affirm this by giving instruction on how to live a Godly life in a wicked world until Christ’s Return.

Contrasting this with Mohammed’s actions and commands we find a history of Muslim holy writings commanding humiliation, violence, conquest and death until Islam is spread over the whole earth in the physical realm. The Mohammed example is the call of reforming purist Muslims we call radical Islamists that wish a reestablishment of a Caliphate and a resurgence of violent conquest in the name of Mohammed the prophet and his deity Allah.

When you hear a Muslim defending violent Islam because of the Christian past of violence is a bunch of taqiyya and/or Kitman. The portrayal simply is not an accurate picture that justifies the present. Nations that have a Christian heritage have drawn closer to the desire of a peaceful coexistence to humanity in the present. Nations that claim an Islamic heritage are still living the rules of prejudice and human rights violations that existed in medieval Muslim days when Islamic empires were scourging the earth to give the conquered the stark choices of convert, live a life of humiliation or die. The phrase “still living” means life in Islamic nations is PRESENTLY AND STILL a life of repression for non-Muslims. For Muslims living in Islamic nations, life becomes dismal if you break a Sharia principle such as homosexuality, adultery and apostasy. The penalty is not a tongue lashing or a shunning. The penalty is prison or death depending on the Muslim nation.

What is taqiyya?

The word "Taqiyya" literally means: "Concealing, precaution, guarding.” It is employed in disguising one's beliefs, intentions, convictions, ideas, feelings, opinions or strategies. In practical terms it is manifested as dissimulation, lying, deceiving, vexing and confounding with the intention of deflecting attention, foiling or pre-emptive blocking. It is currently employed in fending off and neutralising any criticism of Islam or Muslims.

Falsehoods told to prevent the denigration of Islam, to protect oneself, or to promote the cause of Islam are sanctioned in the Qur'an and Sunna, including lying under oath in testimony before a court, deceiving by making distorted statements to the media such as the claim that Islam is a “religion of peace”. A Muslim is even permitted to deny or denounce his faith if, in so doing, he protects or furthers the interests of Islam, so long as he remains faithful to Islam in his heart. What is kitman?

“Kitman” is close to “taqiyya,” but rather than outright dissimulation, it consists in telling only a part of the truth, with “mental reservation” justifying the omission of the rest. One example may suffice. When a Muslim maintains that “jihad” really means “a spiritual struggle,” and fails to add that this definition is a recent one in Islam (little more than a century old), he misleads by holding back, and is practicing “kitman.” When he adduces, in support of this doubtful proposition, the hadith in which Muhammad, returning home from one of his many battles, is reported to have said (as known from a chain of transmitters, or isnad), that he had returned from “the Lesser Jihad to the Greater Jihad” and does not add what he also knows to be true, that this is a “weak” hadith, regarded by the most-respected muhaddithin as of doubtful authenticity, he is further practicing “kitman.” (Excerpted from Contra Costa ACT page which in turn excerpted it from Jihad Watch)

Now that I have set up an understanding of taqiyya and kitman we can simplify the terms as lying for the cause of Islam primarily directed toward non-Muslims.

Desi either you don’t understand the full implications of taqiyya or you are practicing this art of Islamic dissimulation. As to 1 Cor. 9: 19-23 (NKJV) let us all read this portion of Scripture:

19 For though I am free from all men, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win the more; 20 and to the Jews I became as a Jew, that I might win Jews; to those who are under the law, as under the law,[a] that I might win those who are under the law; 21 to those who are without law, as without law (not being without law toward God,[b] but under law toward Christ[c]), that I might win those who are without law; 22 to the weak I became as[d] weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all men, that I might by all means save some. 23 Now this I do for the gospel’s sake, that I may be partaker of it with you.

The obvious context is NOT lying to people to deceiving them into Christianity, rather the context is to be a servant-minded person on a level one can understand. Instead forcing one to be a Christian it is about communicating on a level that is understandable rather than a platform of supremacism such as convert or die.

Now let’s look at the reality of CNN (Communist New Network) and deceiving Muslim apologists as it relates to Walid Shoebat.

Walid Shoebat spoke at a Department of Homeland Security event in Rapid City South Dakota on May 11th. It was not promoted outside that state but the Hamas-affiliated (CAIR) Council on American Islamic Relations had been calling on DHS to ban former Palestinian terrorist turned Christian and anti-Islamic fundamentalist, Walid Shoebat from speaking there.

SHOEBAT – No other major national media showed interest in the conference except CNN. Typically CNN ignores Walid and gives him little if any air time. CNN sent two investigative journalists Kathleen Johnston and Drew Griffin to cover the conference from Atlanta GA which is a long way to travel to visit a small conference in a state with such low population.

The only conclusion is that the journalists or others at CNN were tipped off to this event by CAIR and jumped to their rescue. CAIR’s obvious strategy is to discredit people like Walid Shoebat so that the truth does not get to the American people.

Another very curious development took place when Johnson and Griffin stated to the DHS that they were interested in reporting on the whole conference; Shoebat was one of several speakers. However, CNN focused exclusively on Shoebat’s speeches and only wished to interview him and Keith Davies the manager for Mr Shoebat’s foundations.

The questions directed to both had absolutely nothing to do with terrorism or how America can stop terrorism. No questions were asked based on the content of his four hours of lectures By Mr. Shoebat.

The only questions CNN asked had to do with funding: Were you paid $13,000 for speaking? This question was very revealing as about three years ago Walid Shoebat, Kamal Saleem and Zachariah Anani spoke for the air force academy and the amount paid to them for speaking at the event – $13,000 – was objected to at the time by none other than CAIR, who tried to have Shoebat barred from speaking there too.

The journalists only tried to focus on the money Shoebat was paid, the finances of the charitable foundation, the advisory board members, and the credibility of Shoebat’s story but never asked about the issues that Shoebat was invited to the conference to speak about. Shoebat offered to provide proof of his story but up until now, CNN has not contacted him in order to get it.

It appeared that the whole purpose of the trip from Atlanta by CNN was to come to the rescue of CAIR. CNN’s presence was clearly intended to smear Shoebat. The question needing to be asked is how involved was CAIR in that attempt. It will be very revealing once the report is shown on their network.

CAIR (Council for American Islamic Relations) made significant efforts to have Walid Shoebat stopped from speaking at the DHS conference in Rapid City SD on May 11. This was recorded on their website as well as confirmed by the SD department of public safety. Since CAIR was unsuccessful in this effort, it is a coincidence that CNN would fly two reporters and a cameraman from Atlanta to cover a relatively small counterterrorism conference in a remote town in Western South Dakota. The event was not advertised locally or nationally, or even to the general public, and only by invitation to local and regional police forces as well as first emergency responders. CNN has no bureau within nearly 1000 miles. They could only have known about it if they were tipped off by their friends, possibly over at CAIR who boasted that “they own the media” as stated by Ibrahim Hooper, communications director of the national office of CAIR. Let’s face it, CNN takes no real interest in issues of national security unless someone is being blown up.

From an interview I conducted with Mr. Shoebat regarding the CNN smear, Mr Shoebat related that ”the first question that Drew Griffin, the reporter, asked me was ’Are you are being paid $13,000 for speaking?’ He also stated he got this information from a “trusted source.” According to Mr Shoebat , the only time that this amount was paid was for three speakers at “the Three Ex-Terrorists” presentation who were invited by the Air Force Academy in Feb 2008. CAIR was the only organization that complained and made an issue of this. Did CAIR spoon-feed this question to Drew Griffin the “investigative journalist” who was hunting down Mr. Shoebat?

The second question posed to Mr Shoebat by the reporter from CNN, Drew Griffin, was “We called the Bank Leumi and there is no record of the bombing?”

This is is (sic) another favorite of the CAIR and left to discredit Walid Shoebat. This question actually discredits the people who ask it because the actual branch was shut down in 1996 because it was in the newly created Palestinian Authority. Another spoon fed question by CAIR?

While CNN may have denied on air that they have any connection to CAIR in running the story, we have an impeachable source that confirmed to us that CNN did cooperate with CAIR on this smear job. We would love to identify this person but it would compromise his work on counterterrorism.

CAIR, we found out, has been engaging in a massive email campaign against Walid Shoebat and sending the link of the story by CNN to all conservative and Christian media outlets in order to try and silence Mr. Shoebat’s voice. The source of this information was from the Aramaic Broadcast Network, a (sic) Arab Christian TV station that regularly invites Walid Shoebat to come on their programs.

CNN may not believe Shoebat’s story, but Mr. Shoebat does come from Bethlehem as they interviewed his fourth cousin, he does speak fluent Arabic with a Palestinian accent and lived in an area where Jew hatred is predominant; so even if CNN does not believe his story they might wish to listen to someone who can bring some real insight to the issues of Islam and the mindset of people who cause man made disaste (sic).

Let’s face it. CNN has become the voice of the Arab despostic (sic) regimes in the world.

I noticed at a FOX News interview that Walid Shoebat was tracking the Ground Zero Mosque Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf. In that interview Shoebat had demonstrated that Rauf was telling an American audience one thing and an Arabic speaking audience a different thing.

The implied conclusion being Rauf lies about being a Moderate Muslim and is more akin to the Radical Islam that dominates the Middle East. The Shoebat Foundation has obtained a shocking audio recording of Rauf's own voice boasting in Arabic that Obama’s historic speech in Cairo was provided by the Imam's work with the Cordova Initiative in what the Imam called “The Blue Print” which, according to him, was the solution to the Islamic-American divide. Rauf claimed that Chapter 6 of the Imam’s work engineered by the Cordova Initiative was the construct for the entire speech:


“This is an example of the impact of our work in a positive way to be used by the President.”


"The blue print," Rauf elaborated, included everything from U.S. policy to Jewish and Christian relations with Muslims.


For an Imam in New York to be involved in the orchestrating U.S. foreign policy is quite the claim. In the recording dated February 5th, 2010 Rauf boasted that:


“We have to look at it [as] how to engineer solutions. At the Cordova Initiative we think of ourselves as an engineering shop. Yes. We have an analytical approach. Our work has been that. IN THE BOOK CHAPTER 6, I WROTE ABOUT THIS BLUE PRINT as to WHAT HAS TO BE DONE BY THE U.S. GOVERNMENT, what has to be done by the Jewish community, what has to be done by the Christian community, what has to be done by the Muslim community, what has to be done by educators, what has to be done by the media. For example, IN MY BOOK IN THE ARABIC VERSION page 293, what did I write? WHAT ARE THE THINGS THAT THE UNITED STATES NEEDS TO DO. IF YOU EXAMINE THIS CHAPTER YOU WILL FIND THAT THE OBAMA SPEECH IN CAIRO WAS ALL TAKEN FROM THIS SECTION [Section 6]. When you do a job that is very complicated. You ask yourself, what have you accomplished. All these problems can be solved but requires the will to solve it. It requires political will, resources and the right focus. The signs of how to go to the moon was known 200 years ago, but the political will and financial will for it happened during 1960-1961. When John Kennedy said that we will send an American to the moon before the end of the 60’s, he established the financial resources and the political will.”


The story was even collaborated in a written article in an interview with Hani Al-Waziri of Egypt. The clue was revealed while Rauf was answering a question regarding President Barack Obama’s speech in which Rauf replied:


“The speech was wonderful and wise in his choice of words, the Prime Minister of Malaysia after the speech disclosed to me that it is now easy for any president of a Muslim country to establish good relations with America, and I AM NOT GOING TO HIDE FROM YOU THAT ONE OF THOSE WHO PARTICIPATED IN WRITING THE SPEECH, TRANSFERRED ENTIRE PARTS OF MY BOOK ‘A NEW VISION FOR MUSLIMS AND THE WEST’, which he referred to U.S. interests being compatible with top interests of the Muslim world”.


Rauf did not disclose the name of this speechwriter that included Rauf’s work in president Obama’s historic address to the Muslim world. It is crucial to note that the Arabic version of Feisal Abdul Rauf’s book was published in Malaysia titled “A CALL TO PRAYER, FROM THE WORLD TRADE CENTER RUBBLE: ISLAMIC DAWA (SUMMONS TO ISLAM) IN THE HEART OF AMERICA POST-9/11."


The interview with Hani Alwaziri dated February 7th, 2010 intended to discuss Rauf’s plans for what he terms “American Style Islam” and the Cordova Initiative goals for the U.S. Rauf later stated that his goal was “To establish an American style Islam in the United States” in which he explains his aspiration of spreading Islam in America by using flexibility and molding Islam to become palatable to the American culture while preserving the integrity of Islamic ideology:


“If we look how Islam was spread from Hijaz (Arabia) to Morocco then Turkey, we note that Islam was shaped by the culture and society, hence showing a Muslim version of the architecture and culture and the arts, but with preservation of the framework of belief and worship. We need to provide a GLOBAL ISLAM in accordance with the nature of each society.”


Rauf boasted about his towering structure by Ground Zero as:


“an icon that will make Muslims proud, not only locally but globally.”


His suggestion to Muslims on how to deal with western Christians and Jews was:


“deal with them as one courts a pretty girl he wants to date; stop thinking like a typical Muslim. Then you can engage.”


He also discussed how he courted Bloomberg and the Jewish Community boards that “we have inroads with the Jewish Community Center”. It is interesting that Rauf stated in Arabic to Hadielislam, another prominent Muslim think tank that:


“people need to use peaceful means to advise the governors and government institutions…we also suggest to the governors and political institutions to CONSULT [MUSLIM] RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS AND [MUSLIM] PERSONALITIES IN THE FIELD SO AS TO ASSURE THEIR DECISION MAKING TO REFLECT THE SPIRIT OF SHARIAH.”
