When reading about life in the old Soviet Union one of the abhorrent facts of life was the encouragement of the Soviet government to their citizens to report any person and/or any family that was acting in an un-Communistic or anti-Soviet State manner. Many a good non-violent person or persons found themselves in a Siberian gulag or worse – executed – by this policy of squealing on your neighbor or family member.

In America – right here, right now – we are facing a time when Muslims that believe that Mohammed was the world’s purest man and best example of living are trying to imitate Mo’s actions because of purest thinking connected to Islam. I say “Islam” rather than radical Islam because the so-called majority of Islam called peaceful and moderate do not actually follow the entirety of their theopolitical ideology. And trust me – if Islam overtakes an indigenous Western culture to become the majority culture, YOU will witness the same experiences that Muslims now experience in Muslim majority nations. That experience is to be made to feel less than human in comparison to Islamic Supremacism meaning ANYTHING the local Muslim religious cleric defines as insulting, demeaning or un-Islamic will undoubtedly raise the ire of the local Muslim community to persecute, raid of property, kidnapping or raping of non-Muslim girls and women, just plain execute the non-Muslim in a horrendous torturous manner.

LOOK AT the persecution of Christians, Jews, Muslim sects labeled as heretical by Sunnis or Shias, Bahais, Buddhist or whatever non-Muslim religious creed followed in this day and this age.

So here we are in America in which civil and religious rights are guaranteed by the U.S. Constitution - including Islam.

BUT the very essence of Islam demands its adherents that the civil and religious rights of the U.S. Constitution are inferior to the tenets of Islam and the prescribed actions of Islam’s Sharia Law. So how do good Americans who honor their Constitution and coincide this respect of the Law of the Land with the adherents of a religious belief that mandates the overthrow of the Constitution and replaced by Sharia Law?

My thought is to participate with ACT for America’s grassroots advocacy of hash-tagging the term ‘Open Eyes Save Lives’ and start reporting the suspicious behavior of Muslims that openly or in stealth imply the violent overthrow of the U.S. Constitution to occur and be replaced by Islamic Sharia Law. Muslims that advocate this kind of Mohammed-style purest ideology will participate in some kind of violence against a non-Muslim (or a Muslim that stands with the Constitution) to be slain to strike terror with the purpose of submitting to the superiority of all things Islam.

Remember: One next door neighbor in San Bernardino, California could have saved 14 lives by speaking out when confronted by unusual and suspicious activity in and around the home of Tashfeen Malik and Syed Farook. But political correctness caused that individual to remain silent. The result was devastating.

That is why ACT for America, the nation’s largest national security-focused grassroots advocacy organization, has unveiled our #OpenEyesSaveLives campaign.

It is imperative that we stay alert and understand what to actually look for as we continue to witness many horrific events transpiring before our very eyes. This is where you come in. YOU can be the eyes and ears within your community. YOU can educate yourself and those around you on what to look for.

Remember: If you see any suspicious activity that is alarming, please call 911 or use the “See Something, Send Something” app from the Department of Homeland Security for reporting details to law enforcement.

In this #OpenEyesSaveLives issue, we wanted to focus on some traits that may be an indication of radicalization, as noted by experts in the national security arena—important information to know.

Possible Radicalization Traits

o   The individual starts to grow a beard, stops listening to music, stops smoking and drinking (if they previously did these before), and begins to dress in Islamic clothing rather than Western clothing.

o   Abruptly abandons friends and family members.

o   Stops participating in activities that used to occupy much of their time such as sports or community associations.

o   Exhibits growing hatred and intolerance towards others who don't adhere to their beliefs.

o   Turns his/her back on life as it was before radicalization.

o   Surfing of violent jihadi/anti-government websites takes up increasingly large chunks of the day (12-16 hours).

o   Develops obsessive patterns of behavior and pines for martyrdom and the apocalypse.

o   Begins talking about known radical groups such as ISIS in a more positive light when he/she may have felt a different way in the past.

o   Another important trait is when the individual actually used to be very devout, had a beard, wore Islamic clothing, and has now started to smoke and drink when he/she previously did not. This is another way that terrorist groups are evolving to radicalize Americans. They want them to fit in more with western civilization and be accepted.

o   The individual changes his/her Islamic name to a more western accepted name.

o   As mentioned by radical teachings, in order to better fit in with western society, an individual should not make it obvious he is a practicing Muslim nor grow a beard if he has not yet grown one for it will bring unwanted attention. If he has grown his beard out, he is advised not to shave the beard completely because that would cause suspicion from friends and family.

“Don't make it too obvious you have become a practicing Muslim. For example: If you haven't grown a beard, don't grow it now, because you will bring unwanted attention onto yourself. Mujahideen in Muslim lands remove their beards for deceptive purposes." In addition, "Practicing Muslims" are instructed "not remove their beard if they already have one. This would only draw unwanted attention to yourself from friends and family, and this will in turn lead them to spy on you.” – one ISIS training manual

Every jihadist who has come to the attention of the authorities has exhibited several, if not all, of these traits. However, not every individual who demonstrates some of them has necessarily become fully radicalized to violence.

Here are a few more national security tips on what to look for, as well as a few important reminders:

Unusual clothing in a particular setting

If you live in a warm state such as Florida or Arizona and see someone dressed in an overcoat or unusual clothing for the season and the place, they may be hiding or packing explosives or a suicide belt. Report anyone appearing unusual to the authorities immediately.

Backpacks, bags, and luggage left unattended

Be aware if a person strategically places and leaves a bag. It's the holiday season where shopping malls and centers are packed with people. If you see any bag or backpack left unattended in any place, notify the authorities immediately.

Unusual activity in or around your neighborhood (you know best!)

The signs you heard about in the news in connection with the San Bernardino attack is the perfect example.

Surveillance behaviors

Take note of a person taking pictures or recording of a building’s side doors, loading dock, cameras and back alley. This includes any sporting event, concert, stadium or arena.

Always trust your instincts

We cannot emphasize this point enough. Better safe than sorry. If you strongly feel uncomfortable about a situation or a person, please do not hesitate to call the authorities and bring it to their attention. This is critical.

If it Quacks like a Radical Muslim

On August 17 I cross posted Raymond Ibrahim’s explorative essay entitled, “How Nazism Explains 'Moderate' and 'Radical' Islam”. Ibrahim drew a comparative analogy between Hitler’s Nazism and Mohammed’s Islam to understand present day so-called Moderate Muslims and Radical violent Muslims. The essay though relatively short was quite enlightening and should be re-read every once in a while to under the paradigm that modern Muslims face.

I stashed away two comments on this analogy of Nazism and Islam and their adherents. The first comment is from a Facebook Group and the second comment is from a Google Plus individual. I concurred with both comments and that is why I am sharing them. The Google Plus comment I liked so well that I as an Editor added some source links.

The logic applied is on the surface a fair enough approach, but flawed. The flaw resides in the ideology and cultural grip of Islam on its adherents. Unlike Nazi Germany, which was essentially an outgrowth of the harshness of Versailles Treaty, using anti-Semitism as a lightning rod, Islam is a totalitarian system going back centuries. Thus, there is an inherited allegiance, not by biology but by socialization...Islam promotes honor in a manner that is at odds with Greco-Roman cognition, and it is this ability to reason that allowed Wallenberg, for example, the ability to negotiate for Jewish lives. Islam does not provide this level or even likelihood of negotiation. While nice individuals exist within in Islam, ultimately the Quran and cultural pressure will carry the day. Remember folks - Islam produced no Beethoven...the West did.

Political correctness on Islam is the issue of our time for all candidates. We all should be tired of the Islamic advance in America and the PC given to Islam. Enough is enough forget about PC. A clear and present danger. It is long overdue to forget about political correctness and watch out for all Mosques, and the Imams that preach the hate and violence toward America with their Quran and Sharia law. And now Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan has called upon 10,000 blacks to kill [2 minute clip of Farrakhan in own words] all whites, and got a standing ovation at his church. He cites Islam and the Quran for justification to kill whites. Why was he not arrested for his hate and [his] call to violence, which would come under a terrorist is beyond me?

The "Trojan Horse" is here and in your neighborhood. It’s time to investigate all Mosques before further homeland attacks occur on our military, far too many Imams preach hate and violence toward America. How many more attacks will it take until America gets the message? 4 Marines and one sailor are dead, as a direct result of the Mosques, Islam and the Quran. What more is there to know? [I] Have studied Islam and the Quran for several years now and have been inside Mosques and spoken to their Imams. Let there be no mistake about it. Islam, from its beginning, has been a religion of the sword.

The concept of Holy War (Jihad) mandated by Allah, requires all of Islam to completely subdue the earth through military and violent conquest. The Quran says it all. When will America wake up? One sad sick religion. They place a premium on death versus life. They will never grasp the concept of life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness on earth. Women are treated as a sub class under Islam with no rights at all. They will never adapt to our customs and culture but rather want to force Islam and Sharia upon the World. And if they can take a Jew, Christian or infidel to their death along with them, they view it as an honor.

Like it or not, politically correct or not, we are at War with Islam. And until America recognizes that fact, more tragic deaths will result. Sharia law will continue to expand. . Mosques are hiding places for terrorists and we have 3400 plus in America. Read the truth here about Islam and the Quran and Sharia. Get a copy of "Heretic" by Ayaan Hirsi Ali, a former Muslim that speaks from experience. Violence is inherit in Islam. It is not a religion of peace. When they are praying 5 times per day they are praying for death to Jews, Christians and infidels and most people are clueless. The threat is real folks. Read the book now and get the real truth. Setting up McCloskey and Hunt Thoughts on Islam

Below is a dialogue exchange between Dylan McCloskey and William Hunt that is over a SlantRight 2.0 post entitled "Destroying Western Culture Destroys USA". That post was about Western Multiculturalism and its promoting the existence culture destroying immoral homosexuality and the religion of hate – Islam.

Dylan takes a Multiculturalist and atheistic stand typically accepting the propaganda that Islam is primarily peaceful as well as the atheistic stand that all religions are the reason for evil in the world.

William takes the stand that Islam is a violent death cult executing Christians from the beginning of its emergence. Allowing Islam to exist is the cause of violence in the world thus Islam should be eliminated for a better chance of peaceful coexistence between nations.

Dylan's position no matter how altruistic, if it becomes the global future culture as we know it will end. For we Americans who love the Liberty enshrined by our Constitution's Original Intent will lose that Liberty. Dylan's Multicultural altruism will end two bad scenarios. 1) One level of Marxism ranging from elitist illusory Socialist Democracy to just plain Marxist despotism in which an elitist oligarchy tell the people what is good from them. 2) A rejuvenated Muslim global conquest that eliminates rival religions, American forms of Liberty AND former cooperating Leftist Multiculturalists that thought they were using Islam to aid in destroying Western Christian Values. If scenario one wins out one will see the global eradication of all religious faiths because values will subvert Multicultural Secular Humanist Values that are made as it suits the elitists' socio-political designs.

William's position is more in line with my thoughts. He sees American Exceptionalism and Constitutional Liberty as the socio-political platform as the only hope for harmony if not globally at least in a strong America. Where William enters into controversy is his perception that only an eradicated Islam will bring greater peace globally.

I understand William Hunt's emotions. Until 9/11 I disliked all religions except my faith in Jesus Christ the Son of God, BUT as an American I stood by the Constitutional 1^st Amendment Religious Freedom for all. I thought of Islamic terrorism as no more different than the Communist Soviet/Maoist terrorism that assaulted the free world. Even after Khomeini took American hostages with diplomatic immunity I was more disgruntled with Iranian revolutionaries attacking Americans without accountable consequences than the Twelver-Shia Islam responsible for attacking Americans.

After the 9/11 diabolical attack that resulted in thousands of deaths on U.S. soil I began to lump Islam alongside Marxist-Communistic ideology that cannot coexist with the Liberty and Freedoms of the U.S. Constitution nor the Christian Values that I thought could not be diminished because of the Religious Freedom and Free Speech guaranteed in the First Amendment.

It was after 9/11 that I embarked on studying Islam to understand why it was so hateful. This is when I discovered that Islam's most holy book the Quran encodes the physical destruction of Jews and Christians if they do not submit to the superiority of Islam. In Islam lack of submission is represented in the Religious Liberty for a Christian to openly share that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the Cross and arose from the tomb three days after the Crucifixion. That core belief of Christianity is considered blasphemy in the Quran. Such open blasphemy insults Mo and Allah. Those who insult Islam must die now before there is any afterlife judgment. That makes Islam an antichrist Religion.

Ergo I have reached a conclusion similar to William Hunt that as long as Islam places Mohammed and the Quran on the highest pedestal of authority then Islam cannot coexist with American (or Western for that matter) Liberty and Freedom. BUT to advocate the extermination of Muslim adherents is no better than Hitler's holocaust against Jews or the hundreds of millions slaughtered by the commands of the Quran as recited by Islam's considered perfect man Mohammed.

The New Testament Word of God tells us that it is God's Will that all humanity be Saved and experience Christ's deliverance from Satan's grip to be transferred into the Kingdom of God's dear Son. That means genocide is not an option. So how do we deal with the haters of non-Muslims?

I view the only solution to confronting Islam is to force a modernization of that religion which is harsh I realize. The religious leaders of Islam must expel the Medina portions of the Quran along with the Hadith and Sira that brings validation to the Medina surahs of the Quran. Also the areas where Islam dominates must be forced by a military if needed, is for other religions to bring their message to give people an authentic choice without fear of Muslim retribution. Of course I favor Christianity, but in the spirit of Religious Freedom other missionary religions should have an equal shot. Ergo either Islam must transform or the Muslim dominated areas experience Free Choice. That includes those I consider idiot atheists to present their concept that no God exists as long as it doesn't infringe on the non-violent missionary religions.

I say this about atheists because when atheist embraces the ideology of the various forms of Marxism, those atheists tend to favor the same kind of violence as Muslims in forcing submission.

So feel free to pick a side or a modified choice of the dialogue exchange between Dylan McCloskey and William Hunt and add your thoughts. Try to separate yourself from the snarkiness that McCloskey and Hunt began to devolve into.

I know some nice Muslims. The post is very ignorant and doesn't fly by the Constitution. Muslims are just as stupid and bad as every other religion. It has more to do with where they are from than what they believe. Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq and most Muslim nations, the people are poor as f**k and look like they are living over a hundred years behind. All religions are population control.

+William Hunt​ How much do you know about Islam? There are radicals in all religions. These radical Muslims are living in countries ruled by tyrants who take all their money and make them live in filth and disease, not to mention make their women slaves. Most worship Islam because, just like any other religion, they were born into it. The Muslims that live in America, and that are born here have not been causing problems. Most of them I know are more respectable than average people, and much more friendly than most Christians. I don't hear or see Muslims that live in America talking s**t or starting anything with anyone. It's because they teach to keep to their own and take care of their own. What you give back, you receive. Not to mention, real practicing Muslims don't drink or smoke. All religions are cults. They take money from people and then let them believe they will go to heaven for their generous charitable contribution. As the priest rapes their sons in the ass because that's what God intended... All religions are stupid and disgusting, to me personally. I don't care what religion you are, but I'm not going to say one is better than the other either…

I have been to colleges in the North and South. The Muslims you are so frightened of are the same radical Muslims everyone else [is] weary of. Schrödinger's Jihad

The person who goes by the pseudonym Beowulf and signs his name as Randy found an excellent essay on StupidFrogs.com which in turn cross posted the original by Daniel Greenfield on Sultan Knish. Greenfield posted on May 13, I couldn’t find a date for StupidFrogs.com and Beowulf cross posted preceded with an astute observation on May 15. That is the brief history of cross posting of “Schrodinger's Jihad”.

If you have been reading this blog you will see the relevance of Greenfield’s essay. His inspiration is the media condemnation against Pamela Geller and explaining a somewhat statistical reality of the real nature of Islam.

I am going to include Beowulf’s thoughts on the Conservative Christian Counselors Yahoo Group followed by the Greenfield essay on Sultan Knish.

Two important problems regarding the claimed non-existent terrorism by Moslems:

1.  If there are no Moslem terrorists blowing themselves up or beheading dozens of people or shooting as many people as possible in suicidal attacks, that means that these barbarities are being conducted by "false flag operators", meaning mostly American agitators.  Could someone please tell me where they find so many Americans willing to throw away their lives to accomplish some arcane political acts of protest in order to give the American hierarchy a strong excuse to conduct wars all over the world?  Doesn't sound like any Americans I have ever met.

2.  If it is true that these "faux-Moslem terrorists" are not Moslems but actually members of other religions, why isn't that group being fought ferociously by offended Moslems who are totally outraged by these usurpers who steal the good name and reputation of "The Religion of Peace" (tm)?  There should have been a long-standing armed avenging force such as an "All-Moslem, Anti-Terrorist, Rapid-Reaction, Elite Special Forces, World-wide Assault and Vengeance Regiment" that travels all over the world on a moment's notice to kill, capture, torture, and execute all the pretenders to the shining Moslem heritage?  The best reason no such Regiment operates or even exists or is even in the planning stages, is the simple fact that everyone, including all the "supposedly offended" Moslem groups, is tacitly admitting that the original claims, evasions, and excuses are totally false.  Feel free to provide logical countervailing evidence.

The great paradox of the War on Terror is that we are fighting an enemy that doesn’t exist. We are told incessantly that there is no such thing as a Muslim terrorist.

There may be a tiny minority of violent extremists, but they are only a tiny minority of no importance whatsoever. And yet we’ve been at war with this same infinitesimally tiny minority for decades.

This tiny minority has killed thousands of Americans. It has the support of entire governments in tiny countries like Pakistan (182 million), Iran (77 million) and Syria (22 million). We are told that this tiny minority is no way representative of the world’s billion Muslims, and yet it’s hard to find a Muslim country that doesn’t support or harbor a terrorist group.

We were told that the problems was their governments, but the Arab Spring showed us that democratic elections lead to governments that are even more supportive of tiny minority of extremists who are somehow taking over entire countries.

Everything we’ve been told is obviously a lie. And the best evidence comes from the liars themselves.

The media is howling that a bunch of cartoonists in Texas were irresponsible for sketching Islam’s dead warlord because they should have known that Muslim terrorists would come to kill them for it. But if the media is right and Islam is a religion of peace, then why should they have anticipated a terrorist attack?

And if Islam isn’t a religion of peace, then the media has been irresponsibly lying to us and the cartoonists have been risking their lives to warn us of that lie.

The talking heads on the television insist that the cartoon contest was irresponsible because there were bound to be “some crazies” who would “take the bait”. But if Islam is no more violent than any other religion, shouldn’t it be just as statistically likely that some Christian or Jewish crazies would attack one of the art exhibits, plays or musicals ridiculing and blaspheming against their religions?

Weren’t museums and galleries exhibiting “works of art” like Piss Christ or Shekhina provoking and baiting those Jewish and Christian crazies? And since there are more Christians than Muslims in America, isn’t it statistically far more likely that there should have been far more Christian terror attacks targeting blasphemous exhibits?

We can only conclude that there is a much higher proportion of “crazies” among Muslims than among Christians. How much higher? 78 percent of Americans identify as Christians. 0.6 percent claim to be Muslims. Only 0.3 percent appear to be Sunnis, who are responsible for ISIS and Al Qaeda attacks.

There is indeed a tiny minority of extremists in America. It’s known as Islam.

What keeps the lie alive is another paradox. Call it Schrödinger's Jihad. The more famous Schrödinger's Cat is a paradox in which a cat in a sealed box with poison that has a 50 percent chance of being released is in an indeterminate state. It is neither dead nor alive until someone opens the box.

In Schrödinger's Jihad, the Muslim terrorist is in an indeterminate state until some Western observer opens the box, collapses his wave function and radicalizes him. The two Muslim Jihadists were in an indeterminate state until Pamela Geller and Bosch Fawstin and the other “provocateurs” suddenly turned them into terrorists in a matter of days or weeks. It didn’t matter that Elton Simpson, one of the Garland terrorists, had already been dragged into court for trying to link up with Jihadists in Africa.

Every Muslim is and isn’t a terrorist. He is both a peaceful spiritual person who is eager to embrace our way of life and a violent killer who can be set off by the slightest offense. Like the cat in the box that is neither dead nor alive, he is both violent and peaceful, moderate and extremist, a solid citizen and a terrorist. He does not choose which of these to be or to become; we decide what he will be.

The Jihadist paradox is that the Muslim terrorist is always defined by what we do, not by what he does.

Islamic terrorism does not exist independently of the Western observer. It is not a Jihad with deep historical and theological roots within Islam, but a reaction to our interactions with Muslims.

Obama insists that talking about Islamic terrorism ‘summons’ them into being. By admitting the existence of Islamic terrorists, we ‘radicalize’ Muslims. Even the words ‘Islamic terrorism’ creates Islamic terrorists who otherwise wouldn’t exist.

The real threat is not from the terrorists, it’s from the truth.

When we tell the truth, people die. The truth turns Muslims into terrorists while the lies soothe them back into non-existence. Underneath all the academic terminology is the dream logic of wishful thinking. If we believe that Islam is a religion of peace, it will be a peaceful religion, and if we accept the reality that it’s violent, then it will become violent. Islam does not define itself. We define it however we want. Our entire counterterrorism policy is based around the perverse ostrich belief that Islamic terrorism is a problem that we create by recognizing its existence. If we ignore it, it will go away.

The lies about Islam are sustained by a deep conviction among liberals that the “Other” minorities are not real people with real beliefs and cultures, but victims in a game of power played out in the West. Islamic terrorism, like gay marriage or Global Warming, is just another step in the progressive pilgrim’s progress. It’s a problem that we caused and need to atone for in our cosmic karmic journey.

Westerners are privileged observers who have power while those minorities they observe do not. The duel between the Western left and right is taking place outside the box to determine what will be in the box once it’s forced open, while the oppressed minorities are in a state of indeterminacy in the box.

The Schrödinger's Jihad paradox has many other adjoining boxes. Some are filled with dictators and criminals. If the progressive observer can open the box and find the root cause, out comes a good person; if the right opens the box, then out will march the terrorists, drug dealers and warlords.

The other side of the rhetoric about oppression and colonization, of punching up and punching down is the conviction that those at the bottom do not have free will or agency. If the mugger chooses to mug, rather than being driven to it by poverty, if Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union gleefully chose conquest instead of being forced to it by Western imperialism, and if the Muslim terrorist is not a helpless victim, but an abuser, then the moral imperative of the left’s worldview collapses in a heap.

If Muslims are real people who are at least as capable of imperialism, racism, slavery and destroying the planet as any Westerner, and who have been doing all of these things a lot longer, then leftists would have to accept that they are tearing down the most progressive civilization on the planet on behalf of ridiculously reactionary civilizations. Not only would they no longer be the privileged observers in control of the future, but they would have to see themselves as destroyers of what is left of the future.

The left refuses to blame Islam or Muslims because that would mean admitting that they are people.

Schrödinger's Jihad is a child’s toy box for overgrown children who view Muslims as social justice dolls and terrorist action figures instead of people as flawed and complicated as they are. The left refuses to take Islamic theology seriously because it is incapable of understanding different points of view.

It approaches Islam as a race, rather than a religion, because it refuses to delve into what its beliefs are. Instead it chooses to see Muslims as blank slates to be filled with its ideology, as indeterminate patterns that can be reshaped into whatever they want them to be. It does not want to know what it says in the Koran, because that ruins its wonderful fantasy of Muslims as an oppressed race, rather than a creed.

Lies that are based on what we want to be true are the hardest to disprove. A lie that is tied into identity cannot be touched without destroying the entire identity of an individual or a movement.

The lies about Islam run into the heart of what the left is. To the left, everything is indeterminate and everything can be reshaped. Existence flows from power and power is pitted against progress. By destroying that which exists, they can bring their dreams to life. The dream is stronger than reality.

The left doesn’t really believe that Muslim terrorists exist except when we bring them to life. The real animating force behind Al Qaeda was George W. Bush or Dick Cheney. The true power behind ISIS is Pamela Geller or the Pentagon. The Westerner opens the box and the Muslim terrorist comes out. When Western civilization as we know it is destroyed, then the left believes Muslim terrorism will end. Kill the observer and the cat never existed. Destroy the dreamer and the nightmare dies with him.

The truth is more dangerous than the terrorists. Terrorists can kill the body, but truth can kill the dream.
