‘The Newsroom’ bashes Tea Party

NoGuff watched an episode of HBO’s “The Newsroom”. The show is Leftist propaganda and because of this I have chosen not to let curiosity draw me to this entertainment.

Everyone please read this. On my personal FB account a friend of mine posted this picture. The text is from "The Newsroom" show and what was said about the Tea Party, Republicans, and Conservatives. It's all empty bumper-sticker petty insult Talking Points which cannot be supported with facts, reason, or anything else. Only lies. The show's writer, Aaron Sorkin, was Hillary's speechwriter, and is a crackhead.

I'd love it if someone reading this could come up with the Conservative equivalent to this BS. THANKS.

A Liberal friend of mine on Facebook posted a picture showing all the points listed in the (empty, bumper sticker, petty insults) diatribe disguised as elevated political commentary.

Of course, with my personal group of friends, it’s perfectly okay for them to post Liberal nonsense, but if I post something Conservative in nature, no one joins in the discussion, or I get some hate messages disguised as "helpful advice" not to write such things.

I'm going to post that picture on my NoGuff Facebook account (facebook.com/no.guff) and see if anyone can come up with a counter message to this. I ask you to try the same thing.

The Myth of Sarah Palin

I found an excellent piece on Sarah Palin written by Judson Phillips at Tea Party Nation. Phillips is responding to the Hollywood hit piece movie on Sarah Palin that can be viewed on HBO. The movie is called “Game Change” and it seems HBO produced the film merely to display Palin as a dummy. Phillips sets the record straight!

There are few people in American politics inspire more passion either pro or con than Sarah Palin.  There is a myth about Sarah Palin.

The myth of Sarah Palin is that Palin is an idiot.

Is Palin an idiot?

HBO’s Movie “Game Change” would have you think so. That film could be considered an in-kind contribution to the Democrat party and they sure want people to believe , Palin is raving lunatic.

The Republican establishment is jumping on that bandwagon too.  They would like everyone to believe she’s as dump as a box of rocks.

However, the myth of Sarah Palin being an idiot is just that, a myth.

So much so, that Sarah Palin just challenged Barack Obama to a debate.  On her Facebook page, Palin said:

“Exhibit A in these diversionary tactics is an absurd new attack ad President Obama has released taking my comments out of context. I’m not running for any office, but I’m more than happy to accept the dubious honor of being Barack Obama’s “enemy of the week” if that includes the opportunity to debate him on the issues Americans are actually concerned about.”

Wow.  Obama was just thrown a hanging curve ball, but don’t expect him to swing at it.

If Palin were really the idiot that the left believes she is, Obama would have jumped all over that offer.   Think about this for a second.  This would have been a great opportunity for Obama to boost himself and go after a major conservative figure.  If Sarah Palin were really stupid, it would be a no brainer for him to take her up on her offer.

Palin’s offer to debate the issues would be great for Obama.  It takes all of the attention away from the Republicans who are actually running for President.

So why doesn’t Obama take the bait?

It is very simple.  Obama knows Sarah Palin is pretty smart and he also knows he is not the debater that a lot of people want to say that he is.

That is the great secret here.  Unfortunately the media is never going to report this.  The drive by media wants to continue the narrative that Palin is dumb.

I, for one, would pay good money to see Sarah Palin debate Barack Obama.  It would be great entertainment and it would be fun to watch the myth of Barrack Obama’s “genius” destroyed on primetime TV by the smart and politically savvy former Governor of Alaska.

Game change? How about, “Game on!”
