Intro to ‘Islam is Different’

Dajjal posted an interesting comment to the post by Norma Zager entitled, “If Hitler Could Tweet” at my NCCR blog. Sometimes my comment filter decides I need to approve a comment before it posts. This is a good thing most of the time; however this time I wish it Dajjal had enough favor status within the filter where the comment was pre-approved. I approved it when I found it in my inbox. This comment is interesting because after reading it I was uncertain it had anything to do with Norma’s essay. So I had to reread her essay to understand Dajjal’s context.
Zager’s essay shows her disapproval of the world stage ignoring the evidence that a nuclear weaponized Iran will lead to a war just as the world stage ignored Adolf Hitler’s agenda of European conquest to establish a German empire ruled by an Aryan super race. The racial superiority notions of Hitler excluded the existence of Jews, while the encoded Jew-Hatred of Israel combined with Muslim saber rattling and Islamic Supremacism will once again threatened the existence of Jews. This time the imminent existential Jewish concern is in tiny Israel located on a sliver of land in the Middle East.
Dajjal’s essay begins by explaining that Mohammed designed Islam to appeal to “Bedouin” Arabs that desired better living conditions than the environment they existed in. Dajjal believes this is the centrality to understanding the beginnings of Muslim imperialism that coalesces around the discipline of a theo-political ideology. Dajjal’s is good as it shines a light of understanding the development of Islam using the very words of Islamic holy writings. However I was still not certain of Dajjal’s response to Zager’s essay. I thought Dajjal’s tone was a bit accusatory as in the sense of – wake-up, Islam is a nefarious blood thirsty religion and no sense diplomatic efforts will assuage the religion’s nature!
Then it hit me. Dajjal was annoyed that Zager did not see that the Israel-USA alliance would not deter Iran or help Israel as long as American leaders kept on trying to secure peaceful solutions diplomatically that Islamic nations and Israel could both live with. Essentially Israel wants a land to govern that frees Jews from thousands of years of persecution and Islamic nations are infected with the Islamic Supremacism Mohammed left as a legacy to make all the Earth Islamic even if by eventual force.
So I am extracting Dajjal’s comment and turning it into a post. I have to arbitrarily give it a title. I pray Dajjal approves.

Islam is different. It was created to appeal to Bedouins who led a hard scrabble subsistence life style. They were impoverished; Islam promised them victories, spoils and slaves. They were hungry; Islam promised them the fruits of the labor of conquered people: their herds, flocks and dates. They were thirsty; Islam promised them rivers of wine, honey, milk and water in the great by and by. They were sex starved; Islam promised them sex slaves in this world and perpetual virgins they could repeatedly deflower in the next.
Get victory; accrue spoils and slaves. Get killed, wake up in Paradise with perpetual virgins, low hanging fruit and rivers of wine.
If you feared death and injury–if you preferred to stay at home in peace, Allah had a stick: go to war or go to Hell where you would burn forever. In 8.1-5, 9.111 & 49.15, the Qur’an tells us what believers are: those who fight in Allah’s cause.
Where would you spend eternity, in Paradise or the fire pit? That is why Islam cannot be defeated short of extinction. Open “The Quranic Concept of War” to page 58 and continue reading through page 60. Therein are clues for you, if you are able and willing to learn.
Will you break their faith, break their necks or doom your progeny to torment and slavery?
Ibn Khaldun has another vital clue for those who are willing and able to learn.
In the Muslim community, the holy war is a religious duty, because of the universalism of the (Muslim) mission and (the obligation to) convert everybody to Islam either by persuasion or by force. Therefore, caliphate and royal authority are united in (Islam), so that the person in charge can devote the available strength to both of them 408 at the same time.
It comes to them as the necessary result of group feeling, which by its very nature seeks to obtain royal authority, as we have mentioned before, 409 and not because they are under obligation to gain power over other nations, as is the case with Islam. They are merely required to establish their religion among their own (people).
“Holy war i8s a religious duty”; Islam is under an “obligation to gain power over other nations”; what part of that do you not comprehend?
Imam Al-Shafi’i has another vital clue for those able and willing to learn.

Realize that attacking the non-believers in their territories is a collective duty (fardh kifayah) with the consensus (ijmaa) of the scholars. However ibn al Musayeb and ibn Shubrumah state that it is a duty (fardh ayn) on each and every individual.
“The minimum participation in Jihad is once a year, and more is always better. It is not allowed to have a year pass you by without any fighting except out of necessity like the weakness of Muslims and the great numbers of the enemy, or fear of extermination if you attack them first, or lack of provisions, or similar excuses. Otherwise, if there is no necessity it is not allowed to delay attacking the non-believers for more than a year.” Imam Shafi’i states that.
The imam of al Haramain says: “I adopt the opinion of the scholars of usool. They stated that Jihad is a mandatory call and must be established according to the ability until none remains in the world but a Muslim or one who has submitted to Muslims. Thus, Jihad is not limited to once a year. It should be done more frequently if possible. What the scholars of fiqh stated is because usually the time spent in preparations for combat limit the ability to wage war to once a year.”
The author of al Mugni from the Hanbali school states: “The minimum jihad is once a year, so it is mandatory every year. If there is a need to fight more than once a year, it becomes mandatory on the Muslims to fulfill that need.”
Al Qurtubi states in his tafseer: “It is mandatory on the Imam to send an army of Muslims to the land of the enemy once every year and the Imam should participate himself in such expeditions. If not, then he should send someone capable whom he trusts, to call them to Islam, keep away their harm, to give victory to the religion of Allah, until they enter Islam or pay jizyah” 30]

I’ll take Dajjal’s word for it for the meanings of these Hadith (or Hadiths or Ahadith or whatever the plural is)]
Curse Islam. Disrespectfully and contumaciously demand that the President and Congress either lead the Crusade or get out of the way. If they will not lead, then replace them with real leaders who will.
