Clarion Project’s
National Security Analyst and Director of the Clarion Intelligence Network Ryan
Mauro personally worked on a case that would have been the largest
terror-funding case in the U.S. The case involved Islamic Relief, one of the
world’s largest Islamic “charities.”
After his briefing,
three government agencies were prepared to go ahead with prosecution, but the
Obama administration declined. Find out why in this interview with Mauro below
and see if the Trump administration has picked up the ball.
Ryan Mauro, Director of the Clarion Intelligence Network and Shillman
Fellow for the Clarion Project, talks to The Daily Caller about how his
research into Islamic Relief triggered an investigation by three agencies,
resulting in a joint criminal case that was dropped in 2016.
The Clarion Project (formerly
Clarion Fund) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to educating
both policy makers and the public about the growing phenomenon of Islamic
extremism. The Clarion Project is committed to working towards safeguarding
human rights for all peoples.
About Clarion Project
Clarion Project is a
non-profit organization that educates the public about the dangers of radical
Islam.
Clarion’s award-winning
films, seen by more than 125-million people, expose how radical Islamists use
terrorism, murder, subjugation of women, indoctrination of children, religious
persecution, genocide of minorities, widespread human rights abuses, nuclear
proliferation and cultural jihad— to threaten the West.
The ClarionProject.org web
site delivers news, expert analysis, videos, and unique perspectives about
radical Islam, while giving a platform to moderate Muslims and human rights
activists to speak out against extremism.
Clarion Project engages in
grassroots activism to achieve its goals.
If you are a Counterjihad reader, you are fully aware of the
existence Muslims of America (MOA) on
American soil. These guys are Islamic terrorists with their strings being pulled
by its leader Sheikh Mubarak
Ali Gilani in Pakistan.
The Clarion Project has
discovered that the MOA is under an official government investigation. Here’s what CP
knows so far.
A U.S. government agency confirmed in a letter to the Clarion
Project that an investigation into a terror-linked Islamist cult named
Muslims of America (MOA) is ongoing. The group is known for its “Islamic
villages” in North America, with its “Islamberg” headquarters receiving the
most attention.
The October 19 letter from the
Justice Department’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF)
states that 10 documents from a previous investigation into MOA must be
withheld because “the investigation related to the documents that were referred
is still open.”
The Justice Department says that releasing the information
could interfere with law enforcement proceedings as they concern an “ongoing
investigation.”
Muslims of America (MOA) used to be known as Jamaat ul-Fuqra
when it carried out a series of terrorist attacks on U.S. soil from the 1970s
to the early 1990s. The group is led by a radical cleric in Pakistan and claims
to have 22 “villages” in the U.S., some of which are known to have been used
for basic military-type training.
FBI documents from 2003 released by Clarion Project earlier
this year state that MOA is was linked to al-Qaeda in Pakistan at
that time.
The Justice Department letter is referring to a Naval
Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS) terrorism and counter-intelligence probe
into MOA activity possibly impacting the U.S. military. The Clarion
Project has received a series of documents from
that investigation dated between 2002 and 2004, and the files confirm that
concern about MOA’s extremism is warranted.
The NCIS explicitly states that MOA is the “U.S. name” for
Jamaat ul-Fuqra and that there are reports of gunfire, including automatic
gunfire, at some of the “compounds.”
The documents state that “all locations have individuals who
are involved with criminal scams to raise money for MOA/JAF,” including
worker’s compensation fraud, insurance fraud, credit card fraud, illegal straw
purchases of weapons and conversions of semi-automatic firearms into
fully-automatic guns. MOA members send the funds to “Islamberg” in New York
and/or Lahore, Pakistan for Sheikh Gilani.
“MOA members from all compounds
also travel to Pakistan for both religious education as well as military-style
training and operational experience fighting in the Kashmir region of Pakistan,”
the document states.
Major Activity in Virginia
The declassified NCIS documents show extensive MOA activity
in the state of Virginia outside of the two known compounds.
The Virginia MOA compounds are suspiciously secretive. The
documents recount how the compound in Red House behaved after a hurricane in
2004. They refused to grant access to the property for the local fire
department and Virginia Power to fix power lines for several days. There are
similar stories from other compounds.
At the time of the documents’ writing in 2002-2004, life in
MOA’s Virginia compounds was known to be very strict. Two families left the Red
House compound after televisions were banned. Multiple MOA-affiliated sources
have mentioned this ban to this author as well as Martin Mawyer.
The Virginia State Police provided information showing that
“the group has expressed an interest in harming a VSP [Virginia State Police]
trooper if they pose a threat to MOA members in central Virginia.”
Members living at the Red House compound were instructed to
buy firearms and ordinance every single month “to enhance the defenses of their
compound.”
The activity at the compound includes paramilitary training,
presumably like that seen in videotaped training of
women at “Islamberg” around 2002. The investigatory files
state:
“Reporting to BATF has noted
that MOA, Red House, VA, conducts squad-type training in surrounding
woods/swamps and that they have made uncorroborated statements that they would
fight any law enforcement encroachment on their compounds by use of defensive
force.”
Suspected MOA members are reported to travel to the area and
cash counterfeited payroll business checks. They then disappear. Members also
operate convenience stores in the towns outside of the compounds and were
looking to buy more land at the time.
Infiltration of Local Police
According to the NCIS documents, the person in
charge of the Red House compound’s security was a local Orange City Police
Department officer.
Seized MOA documents show a concerted effort to infiltrate
law enforcement and establish security companies as fronts.
Infiltration of U.S. Military Bases
“Many” MOA members are alleged to have U.S. military
backgrounds, the documents warn.
The investigators are especially concerned with MOA
infiltration of Naval Air Station LeMoore and Fort Irwin in California by at
least two “long-time members of the terrorism-tied Jamaat ul-Fuqra/Muslims of
America” group.
The files refer to suspected MOA members working as a
housing contract officer at LeMoore and as a contract administrator with the
acquisitions command at Fort Irwin. Concern is also raised about a MOA-owned
cab company that may have access to U.S. bases and services performed by a MOA
member who is a contractor for Avaya Communications.
At the time the files were authored, at least two “long-time
members of the terrorism-tied Jamaat ul-Fuqra/Muslims of America” group were
known to have worked as a housing contract officer at LeMoore and as a contract
administrator with the acquisitions command at Fort Irwin.
The two MOA members were from the group’s 400-acre “Baladullah” compound in Fresno County,
California that was abandoned after its leaders were indicted
for defrauding the state government of $1.3 million in a massive charter school
scam.
The money is believed to have been funneled to MOA’s leaders
in Pakistan. The compound was “alleged to have support terrorism,” NCIS writes.
The NCIS was concerned that the MOA members were using their
positions to earn “kickbacks” to fund their organization and its leaders in
Pakistan.
Conclusion
Declassified documents since the NCIS papers show that the
concern about MOA is ongoing. For example, when the Clarion Projectexposed a MOA enclave in Texas in
2014, the report included FBI documents from 2003-2007 with frightening
warnings about the threat posed by MOA’s extremism, terrorist history and
international infrastructure.
A retired federal source confirmed to Clarion Project in
April that he was given urgent national security briefings about MOA after 2009
with an emphasis on the group’s acquirement of weapons and tactical
capabilities, including training of women and children.
Government documents are only released after they have aged.
Those who contend that MOA poses no threat point to a gap in time between an
incriminating investigatory file and the time of publication. However, the U.S.
government’s private assessments of MOA since the 70’s have been consistent.
The most up-to-date evidence from declassified files show that MOA is not the
“moderate” group it claims to be.
MOA members were subjected to a spate of arrests in New York state this
year, as reported by this author and Martin Mawyer based in part on their
confidential informants inside the group. One reported MOA associate, Ramadan
Abdullah, was apprehended with a weapons stockpile.

I currently don’t have much trust on the integrity of the
FBI warped by Barack Obama political hacks. But this bit of info is something
Counterjihadists have been alerting America for quite some time. Namely, that Pakistan’s Jamaat ul-Fuqra (Islamic
Terrorists) has connections to al Qaeda and the Fuqra organization in the USA
is the Muslims of the Americas (MOA)
organization.
As you will read the MOA not only has infiltrated American
soil but has 22 compounds/villages established across the many States of the
Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
I owe a hat tip to Paul Sutliff who will have Ryan Mauro of
the Clarion Project on his podcast live tonight (12/14/16). The podcast is

The Clarion Project has obtained
newly-declassified FBI documents from 2003 revealing that the jihadist cult
Jamaat ul-Fuqra, also known as Muslims of America (MOA), had ties with al-Qaeda
in Pakistan. The group is best known for its network of about 22
Islamist compounds on American soil.
The disclosures come on the heels of the release of the Fuqra Files website, an authoritative database of
information about the group.
The FBI reports show there was a counter-terrorism
investigation into Jamaat ul-Fuqra / Muslims of America (MOA) in New York in
2003. One file has the heading, “American Islamic Radicals.” The reports point
out, “Prior to assuming the name MOA, JUF has had a profound history of
carrying out violent actions to include, arsons, bombings, shootings and
assassinations.”
The reports warn that MOA serves as a conduit to foreign
terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda and its affiliates in Pakistan. It
states:
“The MOA is a loosely structured
U.S. based organization. Several current members in New York have been
convicted of criminal acts to include murder and fraud. Recruitment most often
occurs in prisons or neighborhood mosques. Once recruited, some members are
selected to receive training in firearms and explosives in Pakistan.
While overseas, some of these
recruits are then handpicked by high-ranking terrorist operatives, like that of
Al-Qaeda, and are sent to receive more specialized training. Upon completing of
their training, many of these recruits are ultimately asked to pledge ‘beyat’
[allegiance]. If they do not receive beyat, they become what source information
reveals as a ‘friend of Al-Qaeda’ who are called upon no matter where he is
living around the world to assist Al-Qaeda.”
The FBI reports are substantiated by accounts from
MOA-affiliated sources, such as a former member who was on a trip to Pakistan in 1999 to
meet the group’s founder and spiritual leader, SheikhGilani. He described how he and others met with
Lashkar-e-Taiba, an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group and militants linked to
terrorist Gulbuddin Hekmatyar.
The Fuqra Files website shows Gilani
and MOA have a history of links to al-Qaeda and the group’s allies, including the "Blind Sheikh" responsible
for the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. Sheikh Gilani and MOA publicly condemn
the 9/11 terrorist attacks, but claim they were an “inside job” by a Zionist,
New World Order conspiracy. Gilani has claimed that al-Qaeda is a puppet of
this conspiracy.
The FBI New York office specifically focused on a network of
front groups in Brooklyn, including several security companies like 786
Security. New York is home to "Islamberg," the group's national
headquarters. The formation of security companies as a means
of acquiring weapons, training and laundering money is a long-standing MOA
strategy.
The FBI states several businesses in the New York City area
are “believed to be shell companies run by MOA members that are used to
structure and launder money obtained from illegal activities. It is also
believed that establishing these security firms maybe for the purpose of
obtaining ‘legitimate’ weapons licenses.”
The FBI reports state:
“The MOA in New York is involved
in continuous criminal activity to include money laundering and wire fraud. It
is suspected that the MOA in New York have laundered and transferred money
through 786 Security and transported these funds on their person through Canada
to Pakistan.
It is believed that [redacted]
and MOA members located at 786 Security have had direct contact with [redacted]
and/or terrorist organizations in Pakistan who provide both moral and material
assistance. JUF [Jamaat ul-Fuqra] members also appear to be somewhat of a U.S.
based host network used as a point of contact for overseas terrorist cells. The
links and/or associations are mostly seen through weapons training.”
The files include various files showing how 786 Security was
intertwined with other suspected fronts, including several security companies
and schools. The files document the financial irregularities of some of these
fronts. They state that 786 Security alone had projected sales of $4 million.
In a 2006 TV news report,
the leader of 786 Security, Hussain Abdallah, describes himself as the “mayor”
of Islamberg. He admits to the report that his security company has been raided
by the IRS. He and a colleague respond to a question about allegations of
terrorist ties by saying, “You know it’s a Jewish conspiracy against Islam.”
Abdallah says, “it [the allegations] came from the Kosher kids, you know what
I’m talking about.”
One of the FBI files from 2003 concludes:
“Based upon the criminal and
terrorist acts committed by elements of the MOA in the past and the possibility
that the MOA may provide terrorist organizations with American recruits who
will help perform and/or finance terrorist acts within the U.S., [redacted]
will attempt to further identify any possible domestic terrorism activities of
[redacted] and his businesses.”
The Clarion Project’s national security analyst, Prof. Ryan
Mauro and Martin Mawyer, president of the Christian Action Network, recently
authored a blockbuster report based
on confidential sources inside MOA that Sheikh Gilani told the senior
leadership to have members arm up in anticipation of raids on their compounds
by law enforcement.
The election of Donald Trump was seen as the fulfillment of
apocalyptic prophecies centered around a final jihad against a Satanic-Zionist conspiracy. These sources
expressed deep concern for Mawyer and Mauro and warned them to be on alert. The
Clarion Project and Christian Action Network again challenge Sheikh Gilani to
publicly, unequivocally and permanently forbid any act of violence against
Mauro and Mawyer.
Mauro, appeared on FOX Business Network’s “Varney & Co.”

Here are some incomplete thoughts on Barack Hussein Obama from the top of my head. I call my thoughts incomplete because I doubt my memory is complete or exhaustive.
Obama imported 1,682 Syrian refugees for fiscal year 2015 and officially 10,000 (maybe more) are slated for fiscal year 2016. Since 96% of these slated refugees are Sunni Muslims, the same brand as ISIS claims to be, and roughly 13% are sympathetic to radicalization; can anyone logically believe a hotbed of terrorism is being brought to the USA?
Combine this with the known 82 radical Islamic Mosques (See Below) in America preaching Quranic hatred toward non-Muslims – meaning death to America, no constitutional but Sharia Law – what makes anyone think the common unrest inflicted on Europe will soon be seen in the United States of America? Is Obama support for Islamist organizations and Mosques in the USA the beginning of European-style Islamic terrorism in America?
The Clarion Project has identified over 80 Islamist organizations including mosques in the United States, resulting in prominent media coverage on FOX News Channel's "Fox & Friends" and the Daily Caller website.
Watch Clarion Project's National Security Analyst, Prof. Ryan Mauro, on "Fox & Friends" discussing four of the radical mosques and the need to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization:
Clarion Project's National Security Analyst, Prof. Ryan Mauro, appears on "Fox & Friends" to discuss its identification of over 80 radical Islamic organizations in the U.S., particularly mosques.
Mauro explains the need to designate the Muslim Brotherhood as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and the extremism of the Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Virginia; Islamic Society of Boston; Masjid At-Taqwa in New York and the North American Islamic Trust that owns mosques in over 40 states.
Airdate: November 25, 2015.
The four organizations discussed in the segment are:
oDar al-Hijrah Islamic Center in Virginia. Shocking video showed its imampreaching that Muslims should be first in line to pick up weapons for violent jihad and characterizing the West as an adversary. The Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center is involved in prison outreach in Washington, D.C.
oMasjid At-Taqwa of New York, led by the extremely radical and influential cleric Siraj Wahhaj. In 2011, he advised Muslims to stop talking about sharia because "we're not there yet."
oNorth American Islamic Trust (NAIT), an organization that owns many mosques across the country. The Justice Department says it is an "entity" of the Muslim Brotherhood's Palestine Committee, a sub-division secretly established to support the Hamas terrorist group.
The segment follows the Daily Caller'screation of a map of over 80 radical mosques based on Clarion's research. This is about four percent of the estimated 2,106 mosques in the U.S., the news site wrote.
In addition to those 83 sites, there are many other Islamist organizations operating in the U.S. and mosques due to be written about. You can learn about Islamist groups in your state by searching the Islamist Organizations in America section of our website that is continuously updated.
The North American Islamic Trust's (NAIT's) website says it owns mosques in 42 states and has stated that it owns the titles to over 325 properties.
Click herefor a partial list of mosques owned by NAIT
In January, a prominent Muslim leader in the United Kingdom with links to the Muslim Brotherhood estimated that half of the mosques in America were founded by Brotherhood members.
Senator Ted Cruz has introduced important legislation to help get the Muslim Brotherhood designated as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. The House version of the bill was introduced by Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart (R-FL) and is now endorsed by five additional representatives.
We encourage readers to ask their congressmen and Senators (and presidential candidates) for their statements on this legislation and/or their general position on designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group.

Is Obama the Blame for rising Islamic Terrorism in USA?
There are times that require people to step out of their comfort zone, to step up for justice, tolerance and moderation. We know going in that the repercussions of taking action will draw a rain of accusations and attacks from the forces we are confronting.
We do it anyway. We do it because it must be done.

A shocking new report from The Clarion Project details a jihadist enclave in Texas that was investigated by the FBI for possible links to terrorism. The reporter who broke the story, Ryan Mauro, joined Fox and Friends this morning to discuss the details, saying the report is based on declassified FBI documents.
The organization says it has a network of 22 “villages” around the U.S., with Islamberg as its main headquarters in New York. The Clarion Project obtained secret MOA footage showing female members receiving paramilitary training at Islamberg. It was featured on the Kelly File on FOX News Channel in October. A second MOA tape released by Clarion shows its spokesman declaring the U.S. to be a Muslim-majority country.
A 2007 FBI record states that MOA members have been involved in at least 10 murders, one disappearance, three firebombings, one attempted firebombing, two explosive bombings and one attempted bombing. It states:
“The documented propensity for violence by this organization supports the belief the leadership of the MOA extols membership to pursue a policy of jihad or holy war against individuals or groups it considers enemies of Islam, which includes the U.S. Government. Members of the MOA are encouraged to travel to Pakistan to receive religious and military/terrorist training from Sheikh Gilani.”
The document also says that, "The MOA is now an autonomous organization which possesses an infrastructure capable of planning and mounting terrorist campaigns overseas and within the U.S."
Other FBI reports describe the MOA in similar ways, with a 2003 file stating, “Investigation of the Muslims of the Americas is based on specific and articulate facts giving justification to believe they are engaged in international terrorism…”
MOA members believe the holiest Islamic site in the country is located at their Islamville commune in South Carolina. Other MOA entities include the International Quranic Open University, United Muslim Christian Forum, Islamic Post, Muslim Veterans of America and American Muslim Medical Relief Team. Mauro said that locals recall the camp being set up in the late 1980s.
"They are still preaching jihad. They still follow this radical Pakistani cleric that they basically believe is God. And they are a dangerous group and you can see it in the language of the FBI documents that we've released," he said.
Mauro explained that the group is mostly made up of American citizens and most of their activities in the U.S. are legal.
"They go right up to that line. The reason they're able to operate in the United States is because the State Department doesn't consider this group, Jamaat ul-Fuqra, a foreign terrorist organization. They operate in the United States under the name Muslims of the Americas," said Mauro.
Homegrown Islamic terrorism is a very real threat to American and Americans that Muslims consider the kafir (unbeliever). It is time for not only Americans to WAKE-UP but also America’s political leadership! To be less eloquent: Forget this multicultural diversity crap especially if it threatens Americans and then viability of the U.S. Constitution. AND make no mistake, the theopolitical ideology of Islam is the diametric opposite of the American heritage of the pursuit of Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. In Islam life is ONLY for Allah and his prophet Mohammed; liberty is only as it is in absolute submission to Allah and the pursuit of happiness is only set out by Sharia Law.
