We Knew Morality

Once upon a time long ago, men of valor who credited God Almighty as the source Natural Rights that no man has the authority to dissolve; won independence from an oppressive government. Those men of valor set out to find the best government for its citizens in which the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness would be ordained to ‘We the People’ and protected by a good government that operated on behalf and behest of the People under the Judeo-Christian principles of the Almighty Creator.

Then the evil virus - Secular Humanism - infected the good government diluting the morals of We the American People of the United States of America.

Government gridlock ensued after Secular Humanist morality has been slowly overpowering the People who still stand behind the Natural Rights endued by our Creator as opposed to elite-men (and women) who stand behind the dictates of a tyrannical government dictating to the People what is right and wrong.

We Knew Morality

By Justin O. Smith

Nothing in U.S. history has ever happened that can legitimately justify restricting Americans' natural and God-granted right to self-defense, in any manner, and to arm themselves towards that purpose, including mass shootings at our schools. To the contrary, these atrocious and horrible events show precisely the reason America must reject the far-left Democrats' and liberal Christians' insistence on "gun free" zones and more gun control, since the real problem is found in a society that has embraced every immoral act imaginable as normal, rejected Our Founders as "racist" conquerors and rejected God in our schools.

One can make any argument one chooses, but guns are only the means of these murderous rampages, not the cause. There is something deeper and diseased in the soul of our society, and it transcends the gun debate.

As usual, the opportunists and gun control apologists wasted not one second to exploit the tragedy of seventeen murdered students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, on February 14th, to pursue stronger gun control measures for political gain; and for all their denials and lies, make no mistake, the anti-gun coalition's goal is to rid the country of firearms and erode and eventually eradicate the Second Amendment, come hell or high water, through new laws, outright bans, and ultimately the confiscation of firearms in America.

George Skelton, an LA Times journalist, opined shortly after the Parkland, Florida shooting that "mass shootings will continue in this country until we finally ban mass shooting weapons". This simplistic view fails to note criminals will still acquire these weapons, and it ignores any personal responsibility of the perpetrators.

Despite Chicago's strict gun laws and its attempts to outlaw firearms in the city altogether, there were more than 4,000 shooting victims in Chicago in 2016, according to NPR. Still to this day, Chicago continues to suffer from a massive number of firearm related crimes.

Most of these murderers are the product of atheistic, secular humanist homes and public schools, which have generally not allowed Judeo-Christian morality any real voice or advocate, and our overly permissive society has enabled them, through moral relativism and Marxist cultural garbage, by blaming society for their troubles. This indoctrination blinds the weak-minded to their own bad choices, to the point that they see nothing wrong with taking a human life, for whatever the reason in their twisted and evil hearts and minds.

Dr. Erwin Lutzer, pastor emeritus of the Moody Memorial Church in Chicago wrote in 1986: "We have not yet seen the final result of humanism in the United States. We are still coasting on the values derived from our Judeo-Christian heritage." Unfortunately, the immoral philosophy of socialists and their atheistic logic has put the brakes on morality in our country, since 1962, and America is witnessing the tragic results.

The anger and anguish of those who lost family and friends at Parkland, Florida and through other gun violence is understandable, but passion and demands, for the violation of decent law-abiding citizens' rights and the erosion of individual liberty, are not a substitute for cogent thought and critical analysis. Whether these psychopaths use guns, cars, planes, knives, axes or hammers, murderers will always find something to use as a weapon, as seen across America's history.

In 1927, a disgruntled teacher detonated over five-hundred pounds of TNT at Bath Consolidated School, in Bath, Michigan, killing 44 people. This wasn't the first bombing in America's history either; there was the 1886 Haymarket Square bombing in Chicago, that killed eight, and there was also the 1920 Manhattan bombing that killed thirty people.

Recently, Reverend Paul Blair, a Baptist minister with Reclaiming America for Christ, made the following pointed observation: "In the school parking lot, every fourth car was a pickup truck, most of which had a rifle rack in the back window, a deer rifle hung on the rack and the windows rolled down. We never heard of such a thing as a school shooting. We knew right from wrong. We knew morality. Most of the students went to church as did most of our teachers."

On February 22nd, Wayne LaPierre, executive vice-president of the National Rifle Association, spoke before the Conservative Political Action Conference, stating: "Evil walks among us, and God help us if we don't arm our schools and protect our kids ... To stop a bad guy with a gun, it takes a good guy with a gun."

At the same American Conservative Union CPAC meeting, Dana Loesch stated: "The government can't keep you safe, and some people want us to give up our firearms and rely solely upon the protection of the same government that's already failed us numerous times ... ".

No matter one's position on firearms, if communities really want to protect their children, they must place trained and fully capable, proven, armed guards in our schools, not spectators and cowards such as Scot Peterson [PoliceOne.com sums up plusses & minuses], a guard at Stoneman Douglas, who stood outside the school for four minutes and did nothing. We must make certain any potential mass murderer understands that schools are no longer "gun free" zones, and hard righteous men and women stand prepared to end their life with extreme prejudice.

I Timothy 5:8 says a man who "does not provide for his relatives, and especially for members of his household" has "denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever". How much worse is the man who would allow his family to be violated and murdered in his presence? Or stand outside a school as a slaughter ensues?

Commanded by Jesus to love our neighbor as ourselves, if we fail to do everything we possibly can to protect the innocent, are we truly seeking to obey these red-letter words?

Aside from all the aforementioned, our right to stand against any tyrannical government, foreign and domestic, presents the foremost reason Americans' must retain our right to own high capacity semi-automatic weapons. While Christians are not to engage in vengeance, the right to self-defense is as ingrained in the history of God's people as it is in that of humanity, from America's War for Independence to resistance and revolts against Nazi Socialism and Communism. And, if not for good people using arms to defend themselves against evil people and especially evil governments, no freedom would exist on earth today.

Mass murders won't be stopped in America by banning guns, but they might be slowed or halted by ensuring all children reach adulthood with substantive hope, meaning and purpose in their lives, beyond immediate and material satisfaction. We can no longer allow our children to be dragged under by the ongoing nihilistic currents in our society, that hold nothing matters, nothing is good, and nothing is evil, and all is centered on self.

The solution lies in advancing absolute truths in our schools once again, and God's truth, too.

Karen Klein Tormented by Middle School Students on Bus

John R. Houk
© June 23, 2012

Has anyone seen the video or the news broadcast of the 68 year old bus monitor being harassed with verbal ruthlessness by some Middle School Students? (Details of the story that includes a bit of explicit language because of the outrage)

This merciless disrespect needs to be handled in such a way that students and their parents are held accountable! I am not sure quite what the punishment should be because I am unaware of the criminal, civil or school policies pertaining to the powerlessness this Bus Monitor actually experienced.

Why did the Bus Driver not get involved? Why did the Bus Monitor demand these kids be removed from the bus?

Could or should these kids face juvenal criminal charges? What should the school do? Is detention or expulsion appropriate? Certainly the school or the parents of the punks should be sued, right?

When I was in Middle School such disrespect warranted a visit to the school boiler room in which corporal punishment would be issued to the punks’ hind quarters. That is definitely not politically correct in the namby-pansy society in which parents don’t discipline their children because of political correct brainwashing, they don’t care or because the State has removed the parental power of not sparing the appropriate use of the rod because psychologist/psychiatrists have set the trauma bar too high.

At least someone has set up a fund for the Bus Monitor to have a great vacation which I understand has accrued a tidy sum of money. If you feel the rage (and the fund donation is still proceeding), HERE is the link to donate.

A friend of mine asked for some input about this situation after he expressed his displeasure. I wrote my thoughts. Perhaps you can write yours in the comment section. Below are my friends very relevant thoughts.

Mixed Martial Arts Analogy

By NoGuff
Sent: 6/21/12

Hi. Ever hear of "MMA" fights? Mixed Martial Arts fights are shown on the Spike channel, maybe USA, used to be on Syfy Channel, maybe others. They're fight matches where two thugs beat and kick each other until a Referee says they're done.

The gloves they wear are minimal, they're barefoot, bleeding on the face does not stop the fight, and they beat on each other even when they're down. Not only down, but a guy can knock the other guy down, then get on top of him and beat him senseless.

So today I'm sitting in my fav pizza place having a sub and watching the TV. There's a Black couple sitting in the next row of tables. The guy went out for a smoke. An MMA commercial was on and the girl was like "wow!" and "oh!" and I commented "those guys are crazy." She asked me if I watch MMA and I said I've seen it before. She said she watches often.

I said I'm more of a boxing fan, and that I didn't like the idea that they beat on the guy even when he's down. She looked at me and started laughing. Not laughing as though I said something funny, but rather that I said something ridiculous. It's as if I said I like to fly around my neighborhood on my tricycle in my underwear with my teddybear. I said "beating on a guy when he's down, that isn't right, I don't think it's the honorable thing to do." She had a good laugh at that.

Now, put that into perspective with the video of the old woman chaperoning a schoolbus in a New York suburb.

This is the state of our society today. There is no shame, no sense of actual justice, no mercy, no respect for authority, no self-control, and violence is acceptable for entertainment and even everyday disagreements (how many videos have you seen of people getting beaten for making a mistake on a McDonald's order?).

Honestly, it all comes back to two things; parents and their inability to raise decent kids, and the significant drop in the role of religion in our lives. Atheists believe there is no God, and they are their own god, and so whatever decisions they make are judged according to a moral code of their own design.

I don't know, that's just my humble opinion. I'd love to know what yours is.

Thanks a lot,

-NG

Atheism per se creates a moral vacuum where everyone can behave like Satan himself.

The most oppressive and human-killing regime's have been when Atheists have taken over governments. Nevertheless, atheists claim that people of faith are to blame for mass amounts of people's lives being taken. This is not based on facts. In the past century, Atheism forced its beliefs on people of faith or simply slaughtered hundreds of millions of them.

Persecution of Christians in Atheist Soviet Union:

The Soviet Union was the first state to have as an ideological objective the elimination of religion. Toward that end, the Communist regime confiscated church property, ridiculed religion, harassed believers, and propagated atheism in the schools. The main target of the anti-religious campaign in the 1920s and 1930s was the Russian Orthodox Church, which had the largest number of faithful. Nearly all of its clergy, and many of its believers, were shot or sent to labor camps. Theological schools were closed, and church publications were prohibited.

The Soviet Union was the first state to have as an ideological objective the elimination of religion. Toward that end, the Communist regime confiscated church property, ridiculed religion, harassed believers, and propagated atheism in the schools.

Actions against Orthodox priests and believers along with execution included torture being sent to prison camps, labour camps or mental hospitals. Christians were also subjected to psychological punishment or torture and mind control experimentation in order to force them give up their religious convictions.

Many Christian believers in the Soviet Union were imprisoned for no other reason than believing in God. Many have recently been …

New York Gov. demands Homosexual "Marriage" in all 50 States

Sodom and Gomorrah by Jan Brueghel the Elder 2

Homosexual activism, the Democratic Party and New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo are openly displaying their desire to sodomize American culture by forcing same-sex marriage upon Americans even though a majority of voting citizens are not up with the sinful nature of same-sex homosexual marriage.

Former Chaplain Gordon James Klingenschmitt that received the boot from the U.S. Navy for praying in the Name of Jesus has sent out an e-newsletter highlighting the national agenda of the Democratic Party to sodomize America.

Christians Stand-Up with the Manhattan Declaration

John R. Houk
© December 1, 2009

If you are a Believer in Biblical Morality as opposed to the moral relativism touted as the moral compass of Secular Humanism in America then you are in for a treat of knowledge.

A group of 140 signatories ranging across evangelicals, Roman Catholics and Orthodox Churches in America have become fed up with Leftists of the Democratic Party, RINO’s, MSM, the Hollywood pattern (which includes television), the homosexual agenda and anyone I missed encompassing the Secular Humanist agenda.

These 140 signatories have produced a document which could be deemed a manifesto for American Christians. It is called the Manhattan Declaration.

The essence of the Manhattan Declaration can be found in these words on its home page:

A Call of Christian Conscience

Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

We are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are:

    1. the sanctity of human life

    2. the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife

    3. the rights of conscience and religious liberty.

Inasmuch as these truths are foundational to human dignity and the well-being of society, they are inviolable and non-negotiable. Because they are increasingly under assault from powerful forces in our culture, we are compelled today to speak out forcefully in their defense, and to commit ourselves to honoring them fully no matter what pressures are brought upon us and our institutions to abandon or compromise them. We make this commitment not as partisans of any political group but as followers of Jesus Christ, the crucified and risen Lord, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Friend there is a war on Christianity. Because the Leftists have successfully enticed the Supreme Court over the years to provide an incorrect interpretation of the FIRST Amendment to the Constitution, the Left has made America’s Christian foundation for the rule of law a bull’s eye for target practice. America’s reluctance to mix any kind of faith within government has led the government to the ability of extracting Christian Moral principles from our public thought processes.

Let’s face it. When State ordained prayer was forcefully removed from schools most of stalwart Christians in the back of their American mind-set were not repulsed. The First Amendment was designed not to institutionalize a particular Church as the established Church of the Land on the Federal, State or local level. Unfortunately that toe in the door of Pandora’s Box was the beginning of forbidding of anything Christian in public and NOT just our schools.

God have mercy if a graduating public High School Valedictorian wishes to share how her faith in Jesus Christ made a successful person with the best GPA in her class.

God forbid a football coach praying with his team before a game. My GOD! Even if that prayer was forced to be a moment of silence.

God forbid that Christians become upset that public funds go to support overtly religious Muslim public schools even though a Christian or two may wish to embellish in a Christian play or school supported campus Christian club.

God forbid that the Ten Commandments have been forcefully removed from many States or County Court Houses because that might be endorsing a religion when it is actually the symbol of awesome moral principles.

God forbid that cities across America may remove nativity scenes because they don’t have the monetary resources to take on the taxpayer supported ACLU in its agenda of stamping out all things Christian.

God forbid that a Christian or Christian Minister in America is on the cusp of being treated like Canadian and European Christians taking a public stand against ungodly homosexuality.

God have mercy on a Christian, Jew or knowledgeable non-religious person who publicizes how contradictory the principles of Mohammedanism with Judeo-Christian principles as well as America’s Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness embodied in our founding documents which includes the U. S. Constitution.

God forbid a Christian abhors the practice of baby murdering (aka infanticide and abortion) as the primary means of birth control in America. Does “You shall not Murder” sound familiar?

When a Christian gets to the anti-abortion issue, the typical Leftist makes the attempt to obfuscate reality. The Leftist loves to tell of the baby that is confirmed will born as a special needs child. Or perhaps the baby is the product of a horrible gruesome rape. Or perhaps a baby will come into the world of a young pregnant teen that has her future ruined if she takes responsibility for consensual sex or worse was brainwashed and molested into sex at barely emerging teen years. There is also the Leftist accusation of hypocrisy when a rabid pro-lifer becomes as evil as an abortionist by taking the life of the baby killer. Frankly it is a rare time a Leftist and I agree. Rendering evil for evil is NOT a Christian principle.

But let us face reality. When the Leftist tries to blur an acceptance of abortion with other moral issues that is the height of hypocrisy. A whopping majority of women get abortions for the mere purpose of birth control. The Left has so propagandized our society that a woman’s right to manage their body is greater than a separate life growing within a womb which more often than not is there because female hormones for a sex drive was just as strong as a male’s.

Here is Bill O’Reilly taking notice of the Manhattan Declaration.

With polls showing that more than 80 percent of Americans believe in G0d, the question now becomes: Will they rally behind The Manhattan Declaration? So far, the secular media have given it little attention, and that might well continue. But even if the manifesto gets a full airing, are people of faith as upset as some of their leadership with the secularism of America?

At this point, I simply don't know.

My fellow Christians Let us bring certainty to Bill O’Reilly: SIGN THE MANHATTAN DECLARATION

MANHATTAN DECLARATION
A Summary
http://manhattandeclaration.org/images/content/ManhattanDeclarationSummary.pdf

Christians, when they have lived up to the highest ideals of their faith, have defended the weak and vulnerable and worked tirelessly to protect and strengthen vital institutions of civil society, beginning with the family.

We are Orthodox, Catholic, and evangelical Christians who have united at this hour to reaffirm fundamental truths about justice and the common good, and to call upon our fellow citizens, believers and non-believers alike, to join us in defending them. These truths are (1) the sanctity of human life, (2) the dignity of marriage as the conjugal union of husband and wife, and (3) the rights of conscience and religious liberty.

Human Life

The lives of the unborn, the disabled, and the elderly are ever more threatened. While public opinion has moved in a pro-life direction, powerful and determined forces are working to expand abortion, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide, and euthanasia. Although the protection of the weak and vulnerable is the first obligation of government, the power of government is today often enlisted in the cause of promoting what Pope John Paul II called “the culture of death.” We pledge to work unceasingly for the equal protection of every innocent human being at every stage of development and in every condition. We will refuse to permit ourselves or our institutions to be implicated in the taking of human life and we will support in every possible way those who, in conscience, take the same stand.

Marriage

The institution of marriage, already wounded by promiscuity, infidelity and divorce, is at risk of being redefined and thus subverted. Marriage is the original and most important institution for sustaining the health, education, and welfare of all. Where marriage erodes, social pathologies rise. The impulse to redefine marriage is a symptom, rather than the cause, of the erosion of the marriage culture. It reflects a loss of understanding of the meaning of marriage as embodied in our civil law as well as our religious traditions. Yet it is critical that the impulse be resisted, for yielding to it would mean abandoning the possibility of restoring a sound understanding of marriage and, with it, the hope of rebuilding a healthy marriage culture. It would lock into place the false and destructive belief that marriage is all about romance and other adult satisfactions, and not, in any intrinsic way, about the unique character and value of acts and relationships whose meaning is shaped by their aptness for the generation, promotion and protection of life. Marriage is not a “social construction,” but is rather an objective reality—the covenantal union of husband and wife—that it is the duty of the law to recognize, honor, and protect.

Religious Liberty

Freedom of religion and the rights of conscience are gravely jeopardized. The threat to these fundamental principles of justice is evident in efforts to weaken or eliminate conscience protections for healthcare institutions and professionals, and in antidiscrimination statutes that are used as weapons to force religious institutions, charities, businesses, and service providers either to accept (and even facilitate) activities and relationships they judge to be immoral, or go out of business. Attacks on religious liberty are dire threats not only to individuals, but also to the institutions of civil society including families, charities, and religious communities. The health and well-being of such institutions provide an indispensable buffer against the overweening power of government and is essential to the flourishing of every other institution—including government itself—on which society depends.

Unjust Laws

As Christians, we believe in law and we respect the authority of earthly rulers. We count it as a special privilege to live in a democratic society where the moral claims of the law on us are even stronger in virtue of the rights of all citizens to participate in the political process. Yet even in a democratic regime, laws can be unjust. And from the beginning, our faith has taught that civil disobedience is required in the face of gravely unjust laws or laws that purport to require us to do what is unjust or otherwise immoral. Such laws lack the power to bind in conscience because they can claim no authority beyond that of sheer human will.

Therefore, let it be known that we will not comply with any edict that compels us or the institutions we lead to participate in or facilitate abortions, embryo-destructive research, assisted suicide, euthanasia, or any other act that violates the principle of the profound, inherent, and equal dignity of every member of the human family.

Further, let it be known that we will not bend to any rule forcing us to bless immoral sexual partnerships, treat them as marriages or the equivalent, or refrain from proclaiming the truth, as we know it, about morality, marriage, and the family.

Further, let it be known that we will not be intimidated into silence or acquiescence or the violation of our consciences by any power on earth, be it cultural or political, regardless of the consequences to ourselves.

We will fully and ungrudgingly render to Caesar what is Caesar’s. But under no circumstances will we render to Caesar what is God’s.
