A Mockery of Peace

Obama's Idiotic Perception Israel-Palestinian peace toon
According to Abed Rabbo [secretary of the PLO Executive Committee], the US Secretary of State's proposal includes Palestinian recognition of Israel as a Jewish state; establishing part of East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine; resolving the refugee problem in accordance with the vision of former US President Bill Clinton; maintaining Israeli control of major settlement blocs and leasing the others back to Israel; Israel's control over border crossings and air space; and the presence of US-Israel-Jordan-Palestinian security forces on the border. "The Israelis would also have the right of 'hot pursuit' of fugitives or suspected criminals in the Palestinian state," he revealed. "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu rejected these ideas because he wants to carve out the land he wants and refuses to discuss the Jerusalem issue. He also refuses the intervention of any other party in security matters, even America." (PLO official reveals full details of Kerry's plan; From Middle East Monitor, Translated from Safa; 1/26/14 13:42)

The Middle East Monitor writes through the filter of being Pro-Palestinian. You will notice the Pro-Palestinian bent if you happen to read the entire news report on Abed Rabbo’s disclosure. Typically the Palestinians intend to reject Kerry’s Plan because of minor details of having to recognize Israel as a Jewish State. AND that works for me because there is NO WAY Israel should give up its heritage of the entire city of Jerusalem especially the eastern half in which the Temple Mount is located. If the Palestinians shockingly gave up their nitpicking and accept the Kerry Plan for a Two-State Solution then Israel’s concurrence would not only mean treason to Jew heritage but also set the framework for the Jewish State’s demise through indefensible borders.

A Mockery of Peace

Israel gives the world no peace, it bars slumber, it teaches the world to be discontented and restless as long as the world has not God. -Jacques Maritain

The modern racism, which yearned to eliminate Jews from society as a gardener would root out weeds, the sort of racism that allowed pogroms to flourish across Russia and Europe in the 1890s and culminated in the death camps of the 1940s in Nazi Germany, is on the rise once more in Europe and America, with U.S. president Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry leading the way. In an overt act of anti-Semitism, Kerry recently remarked in the affirmative and in agreement with several European leaders that boycotts and sanctions against Israel may be needed to force Israel to accept the Kerry Plan for "peace" and a two state solution, as if Israel does not want peace and the Palestinians' claims in the area are not specious and false.

While the Kerry Plan does call for the Palestinians to recognize the right of Israel to exist as the state of the Jewish people, two of its main points certainly must be non-starters for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: Israel is to withdraw from the West Bank to the 1967 borders, and East Jerusalem will become the Palestinian capital.

Since the land of Israel in 1948 accounted for less than a fourth of the land originally designated "Palestine," and Jordan, an Islamic/Palestinian state that forbids Jews settlement rights by law, was carved out of the Palestinian "Jewish National Home," how can the Arabs be said to have been excluded from a "Palestinian homeland"?

Just how much land will Israel have to relinquish in order to achieve real peace? All of it according to Yasir Arafat, former head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization, when he spoke with world renown journalist Oriana Fallaci in Amman, Jordan in March 1972.

President Mahmoud Abbas of the Palestinian Authority and head of the Fatah Party recently proposed an old NATO security proposal for the area that was favored by former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and former U.S. President George W. Bush. Abbas will accept a U.S. led NATO and Jordanian force into the Palestinian state indefinitely to prevent the sort of terrorism that occurred after Israel disengaged from Gaza in 2004. Abbas also allows that a "third party" can stay in the newly demilitarized West Bank "for a long time...to reassure the Israelis and to protect us" (the Palestinians).

No, this plan should not offer Israel any comfort. Abbas and the Palestinians will be the only winners, gaining their new state. Israel's national security will be compromised, as they attempt to defend a barely defensible position from behind the 1967 borders. This places Israel at a severe disadvantage from the start, should any new conflict arise. With NATO's ability to ensure any real security suspect at best, for Israel, it is like starting a chess game without one's queen.

Many so-called experts are discussing this framework agreement, as though it is a morally superior endeavor to all previous peace talks. However, whether we speak of the 1915 Sykes-Picot Agreement, the 1917 Balfour Treaty, the 1922 British Mandate and through each successive agreement to the Kerry Plan, most of the world has sought to undermine the State of Israel, while proclaiming otherwise. And now, the U.S. government too is undermining Israel, America's long-time ally.

Netanyahu does not trust the Palestinians to negotiate honestly, as he stated recently: "I do not want a binational state. But we also don't want another state that will start attacking us." And, intuitively, Netanyahu rightly does not trust Obama and Kerry, as was evident three weeks ago when he said, "Israel does not have to agree with everything America presents."

The peace talks, scheduled to end April 29, nearly ended prematurely, when the Israelis announced on January 10, 2014 that they intended to build 1400 housing units in east Jerusalem and the West Bank. Saeb Erekat, Palestinian chief negotiator, was highly upset, but Erekat and all involved in this framework agreement process understood that settlement construction would continue full force during negotiations.

Although Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's political base opposes the Kerry Plan, Netanyahu sees a two state solution of some sort, as necessary for Israel's integrity as a Jewish democratic state, with healthy ties to Europe and the West for the sake of Israel's economy. In this light, John Kerry's coercion and economic blackmail are especially egregious, despicable and unnecessary; Kerry has damaged any future peace process, harmed Israel and damaged U.S.-Israeli diplomatic relations, but many Americans did not expect anything less from a man of such low character.

Once one reviews the historical record and understands that the British gave away Jewish land to the landless Arab/Muslims who were displaced by Islamic feudal practices and extortionate taxation, not by the Jews, and, in conjunction one reads various quotes from decades past, one realizes anti-Semitism never goes away; it just becomes more glib: "The greatest contemporary hero (in the Muslim world) is Hitler." - John Gunther, 'Inside Asia', 1939; in 1974, Syrian PLO leader, Zuheir Muhsein explained, "Our purpose...it (a Palestinian state) will be a point of departure...This State will be the backbone of our struggle against Israel." This mindset prevails today across the Middle East.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stands against diplomatic storms that threaten to annihilate Israel eventually - God forbid - and liberal Jews in Israel's Labor Party and in America who are advocating the Kerry Plan are making Israel's situation tragic and unbearable. Bibi Netanyahu must reject outright this plan and Kerry and Obama, with all their bias towards the Palestinians, as Israel seeks new allies and economic partners; Bibi must reject Oslo and all previous accords. He must find the political will and support to annex Gaza and the West Bank, as he proceeds with a forced removal/repatriation of the Palestinians to Jordan or the rest of the Arab world. The world uttered not a peep when this was done to 2 million Russians, against their will, under the Marshall Plan after WWII, but listen to the outcry when this proves necessary for Israel. And, if the tragedy of Bethlehem under Palestinian control is any indication of things to come, at the very least, Jerusalem must always stay united and complete as the proper capital of Israel. All of this is preferable to a sham "peace" agreement that only serves Israel's enemies.

Genesis 12:2 - I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great.

Non-entity Palestinians Murder Jews in Judea and Samaria

Lord Arthur Balfour

Judea and Samaria are the legitimate part of the Jewish heritage to the Promised Land. After Jordan (then Transjordan) conquered the Judea and Samaria portion of the British Mandate for Palestine which was created as a Mandate for Jews to reclaim their Homeland after WWI, Jordan renamed the area the West Bank because the old Transjordan encompassed the East Bank of the Jordan River. After British generals led Jordan’s Arab Legion to conquer Judea and Samaria and the Eastern portion of Jerusalem known as the Old City. “Old” meaning from the days of antiquity that goes back to King David under God’s inspiration; made Jerusalem the Capital of the United Kingdom of Hebrew Tribes known as Israel.

The British commanded Arab Legion under the suzerainty of the King of Jordan then permitted Muslims to desecrate Jewish Synagogues, graves and ancient tombs of revered people of Jewish heritage which heavily included the Jewish Quarter located in the Old City. Anything that had to do with Judaism was maliciously desecrated from Synagogues to grave stones. Jewish grave stones of revered Rabbis and sages were used by the Jordanian government as pavement for roads and as latrines for the Arab Legion. Ultimately the British betrayed the Jewish people by promising a Jewish Homeland in 1917 to doing everything possible behind the scenes preventing the establishment of a Jewish sovereign nation in 1948.

Today all the information about Jewish Israel and the Arabs who wish to be called Palestinians is streamed in the negative for Israel and the positive for the Islamic Arab terrorists determined to kill all Jews. The irony here is that those Arabs were always referred to as Arabs living in a land under the administration of Ottoman controlled Damascus and after WWI under the British Mandatory of Palestine. You see it was the same for the Jews that lived in the area. In the West when one read about Palestine prior to 1948, one thought of Jews and not Arabs as Palestinian.

The Muslim-Arab hatred of Jews began to intensify under the motivation of the Jew-hating Mufti Muhammed Amin al-Husseini who began inciting Muslim Arabs with nationalism combined with Jewish prejudice according to the Quran. It was no mistake that Yasser Arafat called this Nazi cooperating Grand Mufti of Jerusalem his uncle.
Fogel family Butchered by Islamic Terrorists 3-11-11
This hatred is intensive today because Muslim Arabs residing in Gaza, Judea and Samaria are taught Jew-hatred from the cradle to the 72 virgins of paradise grave. Killing Jews or more specifically dying while killing Jews makes a Muslim a Shahid (or martyr) that goes directly to this paradise.

With this in mind it is not too surprising that one or more Islamic terrorists went to the home of Ruth and Udi Fogel and slaughtered them. Also found in the Fogel bedroom was their baby (depending in the source) who was one to three months old. Mother, Father and baby daughter were all stabbed multiple times. There were two boys in the house that were stabbed also but only lived long enough for the paramedics to arrive unable to save their lives. The only family survivor was the Fogel twelve year old daughter arrived to discover the slaughter.

Has the Western media reported effectively the grisly way in which this family was killed in the name of Islamic Supremacism? They reported the incident but blamed Jewish settlers residing in Judea and Samaria as the reason for the slaughter rather than the Jew-hatred imbedded into the minds of Islamic terrorists. Apparently the existence of Jews in the land of their heritage is a justified reason for Muslims to murder them in their homes.

These are the kind of people that President Barack Hussein Obama is pushing Israel to accept as neighbors on Jewish land in a sovereign State that will probably be called Palestine.

It is expletive deleted horrendous! When will the West wake-up to the violent nature of Muslims that especially reside in the Middle East?

Israel shocked as five settlers stabbed to death in West Bank home

By Yuan Zhenyu, Huang Heng, Gur Salomon
2011-03-12 18:06:30

ITAMAR, Israel, March 12 (Xinhua) -- Five Israelis, a couple and their three children, were found stabbed to death in a West Bank settlement early Saturday morning, according to the Israeli army.

The perpetrator, or perpetrators, broke into the family's house late Friday night and attacked them in the Itamar settlement, about 70 km north of Jerusalem, an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesman told Xinhua. The parents and their three children, aged between several months and 11 were stabbed and killed.

"A terrorist entered a private home in the settlement Itamar, and brutally murdered five people, three children and two parents. The result is fatal," said Maj. Peter Lerner, spokesman for the Central Command, according to an IDF office release.

Maj.-Gen. Avi Mizrachi, the head of Israeli army's Central Command, vowed to capture the attacker as soon as possible. "We're pursuing the perpetrators and I estimate that we will quickly capture them," he said. "We will capture the murderers and make them pay."

This is one of the most serious attack against settlers in years. The Israeli military and border police arrived at the scene after the incident and closed down the area to track down suspects. Other than inspecting cars at nearby crossings, soldiers employed unmanned aircraft to scour the field.

Muawia Kabha, a Magen David Adom rescue service paramedic who was the first to arrive at the scene, described the scene he encountered inside the victims' home. "As soon as I entered the home, I knew that this is a severe case that we would be handling, " he said. "In the first room, the parents' bedroom, we saw a father, mother and a month-old baby girl with multiple stab wounds. An initial examination of the victims showed they had no vital signs."

"I continued to the second room and found an 11-year-old boy in his bed. He, too, had severe stab marks and there was nothing that could be done to save him. In the third room I found a 3-year-old boy lying in his bed with several stab wounds ... two minutes later we had to announce him dead," Kabha said.
Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak strongly condemned the violence. "This is a very serious incident and my heart goes out to the family," he was quoted by The Jerusalem Post as saying. " The IDF will use any means possible to catch the murder culprits."
Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman has asked the Israeli delegation at the United Nations to submit a complaint over the attack.

Initial reports of local media said that the family's 12-year- old daughter returned home after the murder, and ran to neighbors for help with her two younger brothers, who escaped the attack hiding in another room.

Danny Dayan, chairman of the settler organization Yesha Council, urged that the government and military should provide the settlers with more help and protection. "The time has come for the government to regain its senses and start backing up the settlement enterprise, which remains vulnerable on the frontlines, " Dayan said, according to the Post report.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government is harshly criticised by settlement groups in recent weeks after security forces clashed with settlers during demolition of a West Bank outpost on Feb. 28.

Itamar, home to over 100 Orthodox Jewish families, is surrounded by Palestinian territories, and has seen brutal attacks against Israeli settlers before. In June 2002, a Palestinian armed with rifle broke into a house in the settlement and killed a woman and her three children.

Baby Killers: BBC Butchers the Real Story

March 13, 2011 15:42

Only days after HonestReporting’s Managing Editor wrote about the thread that links Palestinian incitement to inevitable acts of terror, Israel has suffered a shocking and brutal terrorist attack carried out by baby killers. Yet the BBC has still managed to turn this into a story about settlements.

As the JPost reports:

A mother, father and three of their children were stabbed to death late Friday night by at least one suspected terrorist who infiltrated the Itamar settlement southeast of Nablus.

The killings occurred shortly after 10 p.m., when one or two attackers jumped the fence that surrounds Itamar and broke into the home of Ruth and Udi Fogel, aged 35 and 36, respectively. The attackers went room to room, stabbing the parents, a three-month-old girl, Hadas, and two boys, Elad, three, and Yoav, 11.

Clearly, those who are capable of the premeditated murder of babies and children are driven by something far deeper than an aversion to the existence or building of Israeli settlements. There is nothing more innocent than a three-month old. Yet, many media outlets still chose to politicize the horrific slaughter of innocents by focusing less on the despicable act itself and more on making an issue of the location of the attack and dehumanizing the victims as “settlers”.

Note some of the following headlines:

But the most shocking and callous treatment of the incident was produced by the BBC. While the news cycle moved on and media outlets turned towards an announcement of approval for construction in Israeli settlements, most at least gave prominence to the appalling details of the terrorist attack even if this became part of a story relating to settlements.

The BBC, however, virtually buried the Fogel family’s massacre, once again demonstrating its obsession with the settlement issue above all other issues relating to the Arab-Israeli Conflict.

No dedicated reportage of the brutal attack was featured elsewhere on the site. Instead, subsumed in a story of settlements, it warrants only a few lines. The BBC does, however, report that the attack “has shocked many Palestinians”. Of course, the BBC failed to mention that Hamas described the attack as a “heroic operation” while sweets and candies were handed out in Gaza in celebration.

The BBC has exercised its own moral judgment that says that the issuing of building permits in settlements is the cause of terror. Otherwise, the story may have included statements from Israel’s Prime Minister Netanyahu attributing the terror attack to Palestinian incitement.

The BBC has a well-staffed bureau in Jerusalem with the same access as other media outlets. Yet it chose not to publish any photos or specific details of the terror incident.

In the BBC’s world, it is all about the settlements. By politicizing such a heinous terrorist crime perpetrated against a baby, two small children and their parents, the BBC is as guilty as the perpetrators of dehumanizing innocent Israelis based on where they live. For the BBC, it seems that the location of the murders and the stress on how settlements “are held to be illegal under international law” is more important than the murders themselves.

If the BBC ever had any moral compass, it has demonstrated that it has completely lost it. In the BBC’s eyes, there is no moral difference between deliberately murdering innocent babies and the construction of homes in disputed territory. Indeed, for the BBC, the settlement issue at best allows one to “understand” why such an atrocity could take place and at worst, justifies it.

The BBC is by no means the only guilty party in creating an environment where Israeli Jews living in West Bank communities are dehumanized to the point that a three-month old is merely a “settler” – the Palestinian Authority’s continuous incitement in the Palestinian media and education system bear much responsibility. But the international media have bought into this narrative of demonization and helped to create such a toxic environment that the murder of innocents is deemed to be almost acceptable and the human story behind a tragedy is cynically removed.

Israel: Annex Judea and Samaria and Make it Jewish

John R. Houk
© July 26, 2010

Ted Belman of Israpundit believes a diplomatic solution for Israel and Arabs that call themselves Palestinians is dead. In other words there is no common ground for a Two-State Solution in which a Jewish State and an Islamic State (i.e. yet another Islamic State in a Middle Eastern sea of Islamic States) will exist side by side.

Belman suggests an Israeli annexation of Judea and Samaria (West Bank to Arabs, Muslims, Europeans and unfortunately America). After all that is exactly the path Jordan took when a British Military Officer led Jordanian army managed to stalemate Israel’s Defense Forces to what known as the pre-1967 border in 1948. The year Israel declared independence for the Land of Israel and fought off five to six invading Arab-Muslim armies to prevail its independence. The Arab-Muslim intention was a second Holocaust of Jews a mere three years after the Hitler-Nazi Holocaust ended.

For some reason Arab and Muslim propaganda has convinced most of the West that Jordan’s unilateral annexation of the Judea and Samaria side of the British Palestine Mandate meant that the land was Jordanian sovereign land. Hence the imposed term of “occupied” land by the West, Arabs, Muslims, Iranian-Shi’ites and Arabs that invented the name of Palestinian.

The irony of stranded Arabs by losing Arab armies that refused to accept the consequences for their invasion is that term “Palestinian” was an inference to Jews prior to 1948. I am certain the Palestine Mandate that became Israel abhorred the name “Palestine” because the term derived from an insulting term created by conquering Romans that had emptied most of the Holy Land of Jews because of constant revolts for independence. Ultimately “Palestine” is derived from Israel’s mortal enemy the Philistines of which King David finally eliminated in his reign as the second King of Israel. The Roman idea was to insult Judaism and remove a Jewish connection to their promised Home Land.

There is really no International Protocol that should prevent Israel from annexing Judea and Samaria for it was actually invaded and occupied by Jordan in 1948(ish). If Jordan had not gotten greedy they could have actually created another Arab State from the area of land that Jordan’s King Hussein dubbed the West Bank to distinguish it from the former Transjordan east of the Jordan River.

The biggest difficulty for an Israeli annexation today should not be the legality; rather the difficulty should be the demographics. Recent Jewish fear is that the Arab in Judea and Samaria have been breeding like rabbits and would make the Jews a minority in a Western Style Democratic nation. There have been new demographic studies that show that the Arab-Palestinians have inflated their population demographics significantly. Since the losing Arab nations of 1948 refused to matriculate Arab refugees into their own nations that was reinforced by the Arab League, the Arab created refugees began to live in a Stateless squalor. Ensuing losing invasions worsened the Arab conditions stranded in Judea and Samaria until 1967. That is the year that Israel spanked the invading Jordan and reacquired the land stolen by Jordan.

To give Jordan a little credit they accepted the most Arabs who called themselves Palestinians than all other Arab nations combined. This became a problem for Jordan for the Palestine Liberation Organization was created as an umbrella group of Arab and Islamic terrorists that became paramilitary troops within the Kingdom of Jordan. Much like Hezbollah is in present day Lebanon. The PLO began to indicate that the Yasir Arafat led paramilitary group was going to overthrow the Bedouin based army of King Hussein. This did not please the Jordanian King. Hussein took military action and booted the entire PLO armed infrastructure out of Jordan. This was like a civil war and Hussein prevailed. The PLO and Arafat next stop was southern Lebanon. To this very day though there is a significant amount of Arabs that would trace their lineage to the group that was told to flee by the 1948 invading armies.

Because of the demographics I am not necessarily pleased of an Israeli annexation of Judea and Samaria that would extend Israeli citizenship to a large group of Arabs that have brainwashed for over a half a century to hate Jews with a pathological passion. I favor the example of Turkey though with a less brutal execution.

Turkey forced Christian Greeks, Christian Armenians and Muslim Kurds to vacate out of Turkey or to difficult to live land along the Turkish border. I don’t know the clear picture of the Kurds; however for the Greeks it was violent, thieving and deadly to the tune of thousands. For the Armenians it was a genocide of over a million as they were marched out of Turkey proper and isolated near the now nation of Armenia. Turkish reason for all this people extrication: It was to ensure that Turkey retained Turkishness after the Ottoman Sultanate of Turkey lost WWI. The victors of WWI half-heartedly intended to fracture what was left of the Ottoman Empire by uniting the Greeks of Anatolia with their fellow Greeks of independent Greece which had gained independence from the Ottomans. The Greeks lost that war to the detriment of Anatolian (Turkey) Greeks who were marched out of Turkey. The Armenian fate was before the Ottoman WWI loss out of fear Armenians would rise up in revolt at the behest of European powers.

Since the West (including America) is going through an anti-Israel hatorade and a pro-Arab/pro-Muslim love affair, Israel would have nothing to lose giving Arabs that call themselves Palestinians a forced extrication to avoid having pathological hatred living within Israeli borders.

Israel might stand alone with such action; however I believe Americans would rise up in anger if invading Arab armies again used dislocated fellow Arabs as an excuse to wipe Israel off the map.

Those are my thoughts. Here are Ted Belman’s thoughts.
