Fox Co-Host Dagen McDowell Unloads on Leftie Juan Williams...

I love it when a Conservative publicly spanks a Leftie on Nation TV for selling Leftist lies. That’s what Degan McDowell did to Juan Williams on The Five.

Fox Co-Host Dagen McDowell Unloads on Leftie Juan Williams: “The Press That Lied To Us For Three Years?” (VIDEO)

During a recent episode of The Five on FOX News, co-host Dagen McDowell went off on a great rant about the Russia conspiracy and the sleazy players in the deep state.

From FOX News:

Dagen McDowell: Obama-era FBI, DOJ officials ‘worried’ what Barr’s review into Russia probe could find

Are Obama-era intelligence officials worried about what Attorney General William Barr’s investigation Ito the origins of the Russia probe will find?

Fox Business’ Dagen McDowell believes they are, and said that is why some Democrats are questioning Barr’s motives.

“They are trying to discredit him because they are worried, people who worked in the Obama administration, in the FBI and in the CIA and the intelligence community, they are worried. Whether it’s Brennan or Comey or even subordinates of both of them. They are worried about what Bill Barr and John Durham and the Inspector General Michael Horowitz are going to find,” McDowell said while co-hosting “The Five.”…

McDowell also said Americans deserve to know the truth.

“They deserve answers. There is nothing wrong with a thorough look at it.”

At one point, Juan Williams, the liberal on the panel, suggested that we already know the truth because of the press.

McDowell exploded. Watch:

'Smoking gun' in Breitbart mystery video

BHO hugging Leftist Derrick Bell 1991

Some of the videos Andrew Breitbart spoke of at CPAC are now being made public. This is significant because there is a blogosphere thought that perhaps Breitbart was assassinated because the videos expose President Barack Hussein Obama as a liar in his 2008 campaign when he expressed there was no direct ties between himself and the radical Left.

WND has a report on the Breitbart videos that include a link to Sean Hannity discussing with Breitbart.com people about a media coverup. Later in that show Juan Williams (FOX News Liberal) and Michele Malkin (FOX News Conservative) talk about the significance of the Breitbart videos. Malkin blasts Williams for pooh-poohing the video exposé.

'Smoking gun' in Breitbart mystery video
Major cover-up alleged in 2008 presidential campaign

March 7, 2012 10:20 PM CT (Time approximate)

Video footage of President Obama during his college years at Harvard University was intentionally suppressed by news media and academia during the 2008 presidential campaign in order to hide Obama’s connections with radical leftists, according to the editors of Breitbart.com, the website of late conservative activist Andrew Breitbart.

Tapes of Obama at Harvard in 1991 have now been posted online and aired on the Fox News Channel, and they show then-student Obama speaking warmly on behalf of a leftist professor, Derrick Bell.

“Open up your hearts and your minds to the words of Professor Derrick Bell,” Obama says during his speech before hugging him.

The embrace between the pair had been edited out of a video that was released earlier in the day by Buzzfeed. (Video of the embrace can be seen here.)

“This is just the beginning. And this video is a smoking gun showing that Barack Obama not only associated with radicals, he was their advocate,” said Breitbart editor Ben Shapiro.

Referring to Professor Bell, Shapiro explained, “This is a close associate of [controversial Obama Rev.] Jeremiah Wright, a man who was quoted by Jeremiah Wright regularly. This is a man who posited that the civil rights movement was too moderate because it accepted the status quo, and believed that the entire legal and constitutional system had to be transformed in radical fashion. This is a man so extreme that, as we’ve reported, he wrote a story in 1993 in which he posited that white Americans would sell black Americans into slavery to aliens to relieve the national debt, and that Jews would go along with it.”

Shapiro says the original video “was spliced and diced by the media to avoid showing just how close Obama was to Bell. More than that, a close associate of the Obama campaign, Harvard Law School’s Professor Charles Ogletree, admitted on our exclusive tape, ‘We hid this throughout the 2008 campaign. I don’t care if they find it now.’”

Portions of the tape had apparently been aired on PBS during the campaign four years ago, but without the audio of Obama’s statements and without video of Obama’s embrace of Bell.

“The media cover-up was very real. Ogletree’s cover-up was very real,” Shapiro said.

The videos were broadcast tonight on “Hannity” on Fox News, where columnists Juan Williams and Michelle Malkin were asked to weigh in on their content. (Video of “Hannity” can be seen here.)

“I thought this was going to be so much more,” said Williams. “I thought it was going to be a smoking gun. … But it really didn’t come to much.”

Malkin disagreed vehemently.

“I reject this idea that we should just shrug our shoulders and buy the PBS/Buzzfeed line that ‘There’s nothing new here.’ Stop it!” Malkin exclaimed.

“This is news. They didn’t want to talk about it then, and they don’t want to talk about it now. Do you think it’s a coincidence of timing that Barack Obama has now hired people to put out some 17-minute documentary? This is all about the Alinskyite control of who tells the story.”

Breitbart editors say today’s release was just the beginning.

“We’ve got plenty more and a lot will be released next week,” Shapiro said.
WND reported earlier that Andrew Breitbart had been investigating Obama just before the activist’s sudden death March 1, which is being probed by a coronor (sic).

He told a crowd at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington he had obtained videos of Obama from the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s college days.

“I’ve got videos, by the way. This election we’re going to vet him. I’ve got videos – this election we’re going to vet him – from his college days to show you why … racial division and class warfare are central to what hope and change was sold in 2008,” Breitbart told CPAC.

He said the videos would reveal Obama during a time when he was meeting a “bunch of silver ponytails” – referring to Weather Underground terror group members Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.

It was in the couple’s Chicago home that Obama’s political career reportedly was launched, and his ties to the two run deep. There’s been a solid argument made that Ayers ghost-wrote Obama’s highly acclaimed memoir, “Dreams from My Father.”

The possibility of videos producing revelations about Obama’s college days is significant, as Obama has carefully kept concealed evidence about his life during the time he reportedly attended Occidental College in California and later two East Coast schools.

A lawsuit at one point obtained an order for Occidental to reveal Obama’s student records. The aim was to find out whether he obtained aid or assistance as a foreign student, lending credibility to the argument that he does not qualify to be president under the Constitution’s “natural-born citizen” requirement.

The video posted by Buzzfeed without the embrace:

Interest in the issue of Obama’s eligibility skyrocketed recently when an investigative team commission by Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Ariz., said there is probable cause that the document released by the White House last year as President Obama’s birth certificate is a computer-generated forgery.

At a news conference, lead investigator Mike Zullo said his team believes the Hawaii Department of Health has engaged in a systematic effort to hide from public inspection any original 1961 birth records it may have in its possession.

“Officers of the Hawaii Department of Health and various elected Hawaiian public officials may have intentionally obscured 1961 birth records and procedures to avoid having to release to public inspection and to the examination of court-authorized forensic examiners any original Obama 1961 birth records the Hawaii Department of Health may or may not have,” Zullo said.

Dear ACTivists:

How do you feel about the firing of Juan Williams from NPR? All he did was express what he personally feels when someone dressed in "Muslim garb" enters an airplane he's on.

Apparently the idea of free speech in our country is very much under assault.  Mr. Williams is a Liberal and often appears on various shows on Fox News, promoting the Liberal side of things.

But with NPR which is partially funded with our tax dollars, free speech is under assault. Interesting side line on this story: This station has a decidedly anti-Israel/pro-Palestinian slant in its programming, leading many (including myself) to refer to it as "National Palestinian Radio."

Please view Megan Kelly's interview with Ibrahim Hooper from CAIR..

(With thanks to Doree who sent this to me),

NPR Dhimmitude

John R. Houk
© October 22, 2010

I have only heard Juan William on FOX News as an analyst or contributor and never on National Public Radio (NPR). The reason for this is simple: I almost never surf, listen or watch media of a Leftist nature. I have to admit once in a while I go to Center-Left sites. And I am guilty of sourcing the New York Times. I am just not for trolling. Trolling the Left breeds to often irrational anger in reading, listening and watching irrational poppycock.

Juan Williams is a Center-Left kind of guy who has defended the Obama agenda and many tenets of the Democratic Party. FOX News utilized Williams to offer a little of the Fair and Balanced on an obviously Conservative slanted news outlet. In fact I recall Williams weeping with joy when Barack Hussein Obama was elected President of the United States of America in 2008.  In hindsight I would like to believe the joyous weeping was more for an African-American elected as President for the first time in American history rather than the man who promised Change that was deceptively of a Marxist transformative nature.

Nevertheless, Juan Williams spoke the truth that most Americans feel when flying on an airline. That truth is a sense of nervousness when seeing people in Muslim garb boarding the same flight. Guess who this honest expression of the potential of a Muslim being a subscriber to Radical Islam became upset? The Muslim Mafia known as the Council on American-Islamic Relations released a public statement that Williams’ honesty is offensive to Islam. In the nature of dhimmitude and Islamic Supremacism, NPR terminated long-time employee Juan Williams for his honesty.

Check out this Michelle Malkin post for a little clarity on the termination of Juan Williams.

Firing offense: NPR axes Juan Williams for opinions on Muslims & post-9/11 travel

By Michelle Malkin
October 20, 2010 11:44 PM

Un-freaking-believable.

Cable news blogger Johnny Dollar red-flagged NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik’s Twitter feed, which announced tonight that liberal NPR analyst/Fox News contributor Juan Williams’ contract was terminated — over comments Williams made about Muslims on The O’Reilly Factor. He gave his honest opinion: “[W]hen I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Guess who stirred up the pot to get Williams fired?

That’s right. Government-funded NPR has apparently caved into left-wing attack dogs on the Internet.

Also in the lynch mob: CAIR, of course.

And here’s excitable Andrew Sullivan giving Williams his “Malkin Award” nomination. Yeah, kiss of death.

As I’ve said many times before: Political correctness is the handmaiden of terror.

Condolences to Juan Williams, whom I’ve debated –vigorously, but always with respect and cordiality — many times over the years.

Hope this accelerates his journey on the ideological learning curve. And I hope he doesn’t back down.

More from Brian Stelter at the NYTimes:

NPR has terminated its contract with Juan Williams, one of its senior news analysts, after he made comments about Muslims on the Fox News Channel.

NPR said in a statement that it gave Mr. Williams notice of his termination on Wednesday night.

The move came after Mr. Williams, who is also a Fox News political analyst, appeared on the “The O’Reilly Factor” on Monday. On the show, the host, Bill O’Reilly, asked him to respond to the notion that the United States was facing a “Muslim dilemma.” Mr. O’Reilly said, “The cold truth is that in the world today jihad, aided and abetted by some Muslim nations, is the biggest threat on the planet.”

Mr. Williams said he concurred with Mr. O’Reilly.

He continued: “I mean, look, Bill, I’m not a bigot. You know the kind of books I’ve written about the civil rights movement in this country. But when I get on the plane, I got to tell you, if I see people who are in Muslim garb and I think, you know, they are identifying themselves first and foremost as Muslims, I get worried. I get nervous.”

Mr. Williams also made reference to the Pakistani immigrant who pleaded guilty this month to trying to plant a car bomb in Times Square. “He said the war with Muslims, America’s war is just beginning, first drop of blood. I don’t think there’s any way to get away from these facts,” Mr. Williams said.

NPR said in its statement that the remarks “were inconsistent with our editorial standards and practices, and undermined his credibility as a news analyst with NPR.”

NPR has undermined whatever credibility it had left with this boneheaded capitulation.

Your tax dollars at work.

Worth noting: NPR affiliate employee Sarah Spitz at public radio station KCRW wishes death on Rush Limbaugh…not a firing offense.

Reminder of George Soros’s NPR cash infusion this week:

NPR has received a $1.8 million grant from the Open Society Foundations to begin a project called Impact of Government that is intended to add at least 100 journalists at NPR member radio stations in all 50 states over the next three years.

The reporters, editors and analysts will cover state governments and how their actions affect people.

The project “creates capacity for local stations to hire reporters and to cover issues that matter that other places aren’t doing,” said Vivian Schiller, NPR’s president and chief executive. “Everything that we’re doing as relates to member stations comes down to two things: building local news capacity and making sure the content we create is available to all people across all platforms.”

Ms. Schiller said the journalists would not be part of typical statehouse coverage, but instead would work on enterprise journalism that looks at how state government decisions play out over years, and extend beyond a single state’s borders.

The program, one of a number of new public media reporting projects meant to counter some of the cutbacks in profit-making journalism, will begin with an eight-state pilot phase in March 2011. Eventually, NPR and local stations hope to raise about $17 million to expand the program, and $18 million to $19 million annually to sustain it, said Ron Schiller, president of the NPR Foundation and NPR’s senior vice president for development (and no relation to Ms. Schiller.)

The project is also intended to help the public radio network raise more money. Although NPR stations attract millions of small donors, and NPR itself received a $230 million grant from the Joan B. Kroc estate in 2003, NPR and its stations want to attract more major philanthropists, Mr. Schiller said.

Just wondering: Why is Urban Outfitters selling NPR t-shirts?

More questions from Jimmie Bise at Sundries Shack:

Did NPR fire Williams because of what he said or because of who he said it to? If Williams had gone on whatever passes for a news program on an NPR station, or fought his way through the cobwebs and sat down with radio-corpse Diane Rehm, there is no doubt that whatever he said would have met with some sort of rebuttal, after which Williams could have made his apologies and recited the standard boilerplate about “extremists” in Islam. However, in front of Bill O’Reilly no such admonishment would ever take place. In fact, O’Reilly would likely agree with him and who knows if that meeting of right and left minds on the matter wouldn’t have served as the long-dreaded Bat Signal that would light up the sky and signal us crazed Tea Partiers to begin our pogrom against everything even remotely Muslim.

So perhaps Williams was cashiered not for his comments, but for the venue in which he chose to haltingly air them.

No doubt.

Let CAIR and Soros pay for prog-tested, jihadi-approved propaganda: DE-FUND NPR.
