YouTube Censors Anti-Jihadist News Source - Vlad TepesBlog

If you follow Counterjihad writers or blogs you probably are aware of the Vlad Tepes blog. (As an aside named for Vlad the Impaler who became the model for the Dracula legends but historically brutally resisted the brutality of Muslim Ottomans [Turkey] conquest and Islamization of Europe. What made Vlad notorious is he distributed brutality for Muslim brutality.)

The Vlad Tepes blog tends to focus on the actions of Islam (often reported as radical Islam) in Europe, but the blog occasionally takes a look elsewhere. Since the major Social Media platforms have been running Anti-Conservative/Anti-Counterjihad campaigns, the Vlad Tepes blog has become one of their targets by censoring Free Speech.

In the beginning of February a coordinated reporting campaign against the YouTube channel of Vlad TepesBlog began. Simple examination of the filed complaints reveals the idiocy of the reporting. Vlad TepesBlog shared a few of the hundreds of their videos that were suddenly reported within a week.  The vast majority of what was on Vlad TepesBlog’s YouTube channel were news reports from foreign countries subtitled into English. Below are two examples of YouTube’s response to the reporting sent to Vlad TepesBlog.

Is Google Politicizing viewership and subscriber numbers?

Vlad TepesBlog’s YouTube Channel had over 30,000 subscribers.  Their videos were not monetized as the goal was to get the truth out and not have it be thought that income would sway what was shared. One of Vlad Tepes Blog’s subscribers wrote to them that they were under attack by Google, because his subscription count was not increasing and appeared frozen. It became a talking point for months when the number was approximately 24,xxx for a few weeks. It then shot up to 30,000 within 6 weeks. Having posted several hundred videos Vlad TepesBlog had other concerns that YouTube was adjusting the viewership statistics.

Tested

Vlad TepesBlog works with Gates of Vienna sometimes. In this case he embedded his videos on the Gates of Vienna with YouTube videos averaging a daily viewership at YouTube of between 600 to 1600 views per day. Sometimes they might get as high as 3,000 to 4,000. This encouraged further curiosity at statistical manipulation by YouTube/Google. So Vlad TepesBlog did some work with Freezoxee.com a place he had ZERO subscribers, unlike YouTube where he had accumulated 30,000+. So the only people who saw the video were people who saw the social media ties to the site. 

There were 15,000 to 30,000 views which over a several days. Vlad TepesBlog states that this count far exceeded the amount of viewers YouTube was reporting for the hundreds of videos on his channel over the same period time.

The frozen subscription count plus the low viewership counts made Vlad wonder if they are concerned about his actual influence. Influence? Yes! When a channel gets a lot of attention YouTube promotes it in various ways. Even individual videos get promoted due to high viewership. So was the attempt purposeful to limit their influence hence stopping videos from going viral?

Congressional leadership prior to the Democratic takeover of the House was pursuing a look into flagrant First amendment violations of these Social Media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and YouTube for directly limiting the influence of persons who are Conservative and/or Anti-Jihadists.

Sadly, the mass reporting of VladTepesBlog and the forced closure of its channel show a huge flaw in the security measures of YouTube, and other Social Media platforms. That being the evident lack of 

Due Process.

Due Process is what protects a person from false accusations and usually ferrets outs liars in a timely fashion. YouTube accepted complaints that videos with no violence or sexual themes should now be labeled and require age verification to view adult content. This implies that your daily news feed according to YouTube should be labeled Adult Content. This means no comments can be seen or written.

The worst problem here is that NO HUMAN CONTACT is possible! You can only appeal a decision with a form response that may or may not be read by a human.

Important Questions for YouTube

Are bots all that reviews complaints? Are there security measures in place to address mass reporting?  What is the process of review for an actual complaint before a label of Adult Content is applied? What happens if a reviewer shows bias or incompetence when reviewing content?

YouTube Does NOT CONSISTENTLY close Hate Channels

Social Media giants seem set on controlling messages to their platform. YouTube has been caught hosting content that promotes Anti-Semitism under the guise that it is Islamic. The Middle East Media Research Institute has caught several videos on YouTube and noted the names of the persons and the organizations posting Anti-Semitic content under these circumstances. Persons with platforms that have been exposed by MEMRI include Zafar Bangash, who leads the Institute of Contemporary Islamic Thought (ICIT). ICIT has a YouTube Channel called the ICIT Digital Library.

Perhaps YouTube thinks this is acceptable because this channel only has 4,562 subscribers?

MEMRI also exposed Sheikh Omar Baloch. His promotion of Islamic Relief should be enough of a concern to remove his YouTube Channel. The Middle East Forum’s extensive expose of Islamic Relief’s connections to known terror entities and persons is more than enough to post a flagged warning of adult content! But as you can see Sheikh Omar Baloch’s channel still exists.

There are far too many examples of this non-censorship of channels sponsored by persons connected to Anti-Semitism and Jihadi terrorism.

You have to ask how Google aka YouTube finds reason to justify keeping content that is connected to Anti-Semitism and terrorism, AND how are news feeds subtitled into English deemed offensive at all!

Yet YouTube claims it catches most of the hate and terror videos. It hosted Islamic State videos that the government had to request be taken down! Yet their own content reviewers seem to target persons who have influence and are sharing actual News coverage simply because the content reveals unpopular truths?

This past December YouTube made the news after closing 1.67 million channels and all of the 50.2 million videos associated with them. According to Reuters, YouTube claimed, “Nearly 80 percent of the channel takedowns [were] related to spam uploads. About 13 percent concerned nudity, and 4.5 percent child safety.”

Final Thoughts

Are we to believe news is now to be counted in the same category as spam, nudity, and child safety issues? But Anti-Semitic speech is protected if it is Muslim?

Let’s not forget the monetary value of good will. It doesn’t matter that Vlad TepesBlog was not asking for income. What matters was his influence grew because he was respected. That respect earned him a high subscription rate and a total viewership of all 1600+ videos in the millions. Vlad TepesBlog considers the action of closing their channel a fraud. The work portrayed was not porn, it was not a safety concern, it did not violate community standards, so the shutdown of his channel was an act of fraud.

While a formal apology and restoration of all the work of Vlad TepesBlog would be considered a good business strategy for YouTube, versus a lawsuit for alleging that news which was subtitled needed an Adult content rating.

Vlad TepesBlog now posts their work at http://Bit.Tube. They ask that you sign up and subscribe to their Channel here. Vlad TepesBlog continues to not ask for any monetary assistance. They only want you to have the truth and subscribing to their work helps them to get the word out!

Pamela Geller wrote of her experience at Temple University where she, Robert Spencer, Nonie Darwish and Simon Deng were part of a truth seminar about Islam. The seminar took place during Israel Apartheid Week. Needless to say the Israel-haters and Muslim Apologists came out to disrupt the truth with unruly protests. This kind of hatred expressed toward Israel is essentially cursing Israel rather than blessing Israel. And worse as anti-Israel-hate and as the love for Islamic terrorism is disseminated on college campuses, the greater the danger there is of swaying the USA toward a hate-Israel stand in open policy thus placing the USA to be cursed for cursing Israel.

Exclusive: Pamela Geller tells of battle to present anti-Shariah message over protesters

Last week, Islamic Apartheid Week was announced at Temple University in Philadelphia. A singular brave student organization at Temple wanted to counter the blood libel and propaganda of Israeli Apartheid Week, which is so common and so awful on college campuses, with the reality of the Shariah and the oppression, subjugation and persecution of women and non-Muslims living under Islam.

No sooner was it announced than the Islamic smear machine went into high gear. Numerous articles appeared in the Philadelphia City Paper, Naked City and elsewhere, smearing and defaming the speakers (Robert Spencer, Nonie Darwish, Simon Deng and me), but most egregiously me. Hamas-CAIR sent out a string of email alerts in support of the Occupy Muslim student groups’ protests.

The Blaze ran a big story on the pro-Shariah media blitz. The Blaze noted that the leftists and Islamic supremacists were pulling out all the stops: “Occupy Temple is joining with the International Socialist Organization, Students for Justice in Palestine and the Party for Socialism and Liberation for a ‘multi-racial fightback against these racist hatemongers.’ ‘Geller is known to her fans and critics alike as “Queen of the Muslim Bashers,”‘the Facebook hate page for the protest states. ‘Her views are by no means within the boundaries of reasonable debate.’”

The Nazis were cocky, too. Once.

The young, brave student leader, Álvaro Enrique Watson of Temple University Students for Intellectual Freedom, which organized the event in conjunction with the David Horowitz Freedom Center, wrote before the event about protests that were being orchestrated by leftists and Islamic supremacists:

“The protests are being organized, yet again, against ‘the biggest bigots in the world and at Temple University.’ Once again, the opportunists are using side-bar issues/events (Trayvon Martin, and a couple of others, whom you guys all know about) to advance and fuel their protest.”

In their Goebbels propaganda, the leftist fascists cited the honor killing by her family of Shaima Alawadi as a “hate crime,” when that libel has long been exposed by law enforcement.

Thus it was predictable that the event was the silly zoo that all pro-freedom activists have unfortunately come to expect from events at universities all over the country: loud, raucous know-nothing tools spewing illogical insults into the ether with the sole purpose of stopping the truth from being heard. Yawn.

Their furious and frenzied opposition to our message was ironic in light of the fact that we were there to stand for the freedom of the individual: the freedom of speech, the freedom of conscience, and equal rights for women and non-Muslims in Muslim societies as well as in Muslim communities in the West.

Our program was dedicated to exposing the suffering of millions of women and non-Muslims living under the oppression and subjugation of the Shariah, as well as to debunking the vile lies and blood libels spread about the state of Israel by Islamic supremacists and their lapdog apologists (notably during Israeli Apartheid Week).

Simon Deng, Nonie Darwish and Robert Spencer were magnificent, brilliant and brave. And Simon Deng is a powerful presence – the room gets quiet when he approaches the podium. Deng’s devastating story as a slave in Sudan shames the leftist tools as they scream on about hate and justice.

Yet despite Simon’s moving and unanswerable presentation, and the heavy security we had to have, the agitators were itching for confrontation. It is striking when one considers that true subversives like Bill Ayers and jihadist enablers like pro-nuclear Iran Khomeinists like Reza Aslan are warmly received on college campuses and given the utmost respect and deference. Nothing better points to how low the state of freedom and truth are at universities. We are producing the army that will destroy us. The many attempts to shout us down and destroy the event that occurred last night had been planned from the very beginning: Fresh on the heels of the announcement of this program by the Temple University Students for Intellectual Freedom, there came as if on cue the army of haters – storm troopers and brownshirts who were instructed to disrupt and shut down this meeting of freedom’s defenders and human-rights activists.

This is what we have come to expect from the fascists at America’s colleges and universities. American professors travel to Tehran to speak at conferences hosted by the genocidal mullahs. Subversives (like Ayers) and jihadists (like CAIR and Aslan) are welcomed and paid handsomely, but voices for freedom and human-rights activists are hunted down and silenced like … dissidents.

They stormed in, and they stormed out.

Despite all their efforts, they failed. The highlight of the evening for me was when a hip, attractive young woman approached me after the event and confessed that she had come from the other side, as part of the opposition, and that she had been turned around by what she heard us say during the event. Despite the noisemakers and loud verbal belching, she “flipped.” This is the objective. That young lady was a sign that no amount of indoctrination and propaganda can overwhelm the truth or drown it out completely if someone is open to it.

Temple University is not unique. The same reception greets me and other freedom fighters at colleges and universities all over the country: jackbooted thugs doing everything they can to shout us down, so fearful are they of our message being heard. And remember also: The colleges and universities of today are training the leaders of tomorrow. The reception we got at Temple was just a snapshot of what America will look like in just a few years, if we don’t stand up and go on the offense.

Radical Islam is Islam

I first became acquainted with Bosch Fawstin during the time period the Muslim world was going flipping nuts over a series of Mohammed cartoons published by a Danish newspaper. Those Mo-toons were widely condemned by Muslims (Moderate & Radical), Muslim Apologists and Leftist Multiculturalists. The death threats and the fatwas began to fly via the Religion of Peace. Cartoonists had to go into hiding out of fear for their life. At the time I could see going into hiding if you lived in a predominantly Muslim nation but I was having a difficult time grasping the reason why a person in the West would have to go into hiding for exercising Free Speech. I mean the West is supposed to be the paragon of nations living by the rule of law rather than the rule of man. The law should be sufficient to protect a citizen by investigating a threat of death and arresting the person or persons involved in the conspiracy to commit murder, right?

These were the days I became aware that Europe had a sizable immigrant, naturalized, 2^nd and 3^rd generation Muslims. These Muslims who were supposed to be living in the West for a job or persecution relief acted in the same way as the Muslims in Islamic lands. The European Muslims went flipping nuts. I am not talking about a mere protest on the sidewalks of newspaper publishers expressing their Free Speech right of displeasure with the Mo-toon publications. I am talking about scary unruliness that added fuel to the death threats. How is a police force going to investigate tens of thousands (if not millions) of suspects that have a motive to murder?

What path did European law enforcement take? Law enforcement, EU and European governments chose to condemn the publishers with the hint of leveling hate-speech accusations rather than protect the right to Free Speech. This is when I discovered Islam is dangerous to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness beyond a terrorist level but also on the cultural level. Islamic Supremacism demands a violent response to the perceived insult to Islam, their prophet Mohammed or to their Allah.

So then I ran into Fawstin’s Blogger site (he has more) and enjoyed the politically incorrect graphic novel pictures of anti-Jihadist Pigman. Have not really paid attention to Fawstin’s story. So now I have discovered he is an ex-Muslim motivated to drawing anti-Jihad toons as his form of Free Expression in the post 9/11 world we live in.

Political Islam has cross posted a FrontPageMag.com in which Fawstin writes about the thought that a small minority of Muslims are radical and most Muslims are Moderate. Fawstin who is an ex-Muslim expresses anguish that Muslims living in the West are not Islamic terrorists; however the Moderate majority does not actively get involved in condemning Radical Islam. Here are some teasers:

So while I understand that most Muslims are not at war with us, they’ve proven in their silence and inaction against jihad that they’re not on our side either, and there’s nothing we can say or do to change that. …

Another problem with Muslims who aren’t very Muslim is that they lead some among us to conclude that they must be practicing a more enlightened form of Islam. They’re not. They’re “practicing” life in non-Muslim countries, where they are free to live as they choose. But their “Islam” is not the Islam. There’s no separate ideology apart from Islam that’s being practiced by these Muslims in name only, there’s no such thing as “Western Islam”.

Fjordman the Victim

One of my favorite essayists is a Norwegian gentleman that went by the pseudonym Fjordman. Among other studies Fjordman has been an anti-Jihadist writer warning of the dark side of the religion Islam. I have used Fjordman essays in many cross posts myself. Most would classify my anti-Jihadist writings and my support of anti-Jihadist writers as the work of a no-name blogger. This actually doesn’t bother me because very few notice when frustration might push me over the edge in descriptive hostility toward Islam. If you are one that reads any of my blog posts you would notice a bit of wavering in labeling all of Islam as a death-cult or only the practitioners of purist Muslims called Islamic terrorists, Islamists, Islamofascists, Salafists, Wahhabist, Deobandis and probably some that I cannot recall currently.

My wavering is the result of the reality that the later groups in Islam are the real reformers in that religion. Purist Muslims have a desire to return to the days of Mohammed’s atrocities and the atrocities of the so-called first four rightly-guided Caliphs that may have actually exceeded the Prophet’s atrocities. Purist Muslims interpret the Quran, Hadith and Sira in the light of the early days of history and the formation of these holy writings from oral to written text.

At any rate the man I consider one of the most scholarly of non-Muslim intellectuals willing to shed political correctness is being scrutinized by the Norwegian police for inciting Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik to execute his Norwegian Massacre.

Why?

Breivik put together this 1500 page or so manuscript of which very little was actually original. Breivik borrowed from numerous notable anti-Jihadist writers to extrapolate a warped vision of Crusader Christians modeled after his interpretation of the Knights Templar. Breivik’s warped version of Christianity was to be the uniting symbolism to bring in a New European Order that would force Muslim immigrants to leave. The problem with Breivik’s New European Order was his plan adopted terrorist tactics against the ruling elite or to make the ruling elite to look bad to inspire ordinary Europeans to rise up to throw Liberal-Multiculturalist ruling elites out. Thus Norway experienced the slaughter of seventy or so Norwegians of young and old as part of a plan to terrorize the New European Order into existence.

Breivik plagiarized many anti-Jihadist writers; however it is apparent the essayist Fjordman was his favorite by the large amount of the copy and paste citations. Breivik’s naming of literary heroes has placed Fjordman as a potential favorite target to not only blame for the Norway Massacre but also to possibly indict him for criminal activity.

Is that crazy or what?

I learned in an Andrew Bostom article that the police interviewed and confiscated his computer. It looks to me like the persecution of free speech is beginning to take on a police state motif in Norway. Hmm … It could be Breivik’s massacre might actually lead to a test of free speech between free speech limiting Multiculturalists and the few Liberty-minded European Conservatives that exist. It is a good thing that Geert Wilders’ trial on hate-speech ended favorably for him before the Norway Massacre or he might be in the European slammer today.

The one tragedy you should be aware before you read about Fjordman interviews with the police and a Norwegian media outlet is that Fjordman is no longer an anonymous writer. Because of police investigations Fjordman gave an interview to Verdans Gang in which he publicly reveals his actual name believing the police investigation would eventually reveal it anyway.

Fjordman, Fairness, and the Brevik (sic) Mass Murderer

Today my colleague, the perspicacious Norwegian essayist Fjordman (whose prolific writings can be read here), was compelled to surrender his anonymity after reluctantly granting an interview to Verdans Gang (published in English, here).

An hysterical, morally cretinous press and blogosphere—Norwegian, other European, and American—which had initially accused Fjordman, falsely and recklessly, of being the Brevik (sic) mass murderer, continues to persist that he was Brevik (sic)’s “main inspiration,” a charge akin to accusing the Beatles of “inspiring” Charles Manson, or Jody Foster “inspiring” John Hinckley.

Even the relatively fair and staid Verdans Gang interview labels the apolitical Fjordman as “far right.” When reading the interview, consider that the ongoing major “accusation” against Fjordman is that his reasoned critique of cultural relativism—echoed by mainstream Western European leaders Sarkozy, Cameron, and Merkel—“precipitated” the murderous insanity of Brevik (sic). This is another absurd and slanderous allegation which brings to mind these words cited (on p. 362) in the cut and paste Brevik (sic) “manifesto” from eminence grise Bernard Lewis—an icon of the American mainstream, including the mainstream right—none of whom would dare identify Lewis as Brevik’s (sic) “inspiration”:

Prof. Bernard Lewis warned in The Jerusalem Post that Islam could soon be the dominant force in a Europe “Europeans are losing their own self-confidence,” he said. “They have no respect for their own culture” and have “surrendered” on every issue with regard to Islam in a mood of “self-abasement and political correctness.”

Below is the Verdans Gang interview of Fjordman which also includes his photo, and has forced him into hiding.

(VG Nett) In an exclusive interview with VG, Peder Jensen (36) sheds his alias as the right wing blogger «Fjordman», and talks about his shock at being cited as an influence by terrorist Anders Behring Breivik.

- I am Fjordman, says Peder Jensen

Thursday he was questioned for several hours by Norwegian police about his supposed interaction with Breivik (32).

Under the alias «Fjordman», he has been a prolific blogger on different far-right websites, and was cited extensively in Breivik’s rambling manifesto.

The 36 year old man, originally from the coastal town of Ålesund, agreed to an interview in a café in Oslo Thursday evening.

In accordance with his lawyer, he has elected to be interviewed in VG using his real name, and asks that journalists do not contact his neighbors or family.

- I have warned my family about this interview, and because of my own safety, I’m now going into hiding, says Jensen.

Soft spoken and unassuming, he is dressed in a white t-shirt and dark jeans. He says he was horrified at being cited a total of 111 times in Breivik’s 1500 page manifesto.

- I have not read the manifesto, but I have seen bits and pieces referred in the media, and some parts have been shown to me by others, he says.

During the period between 2009 and 2010 he received a handful of emails from Breivik, where he told Jensen that he was working on a book. In one email written towards the end of 2009, he also asked if he could meet his political idol «Fjordman». Jensen refused.

- I don’t know why he wanted to meet me, but I declined. Not because of his extreme views, but because he didn’t seem very interesting – like a vacuum cleaner salesman. «Pie in the sky», I thought to myself when I re-read the emails, says Jensen, again stressing that he never met Breivik personally.

Police sources confirm that Jensen has been questioned as the blogger «Fjordman», and that they are certain of his identity.

- I feel it’s my duty to give a statement to the police, and I wanted to do this interview because my name eventually would have emerged anyway, resulting in a media frenzy. It is also a way for me to clear my name, says Jensen.

Norwegian police confiscated his computer Thursday, and even though he was questioned as a witness, he feels that the police are looking to implicate him.

- They won’t find anything on my computer regarding any criminal matters or Breivik, he says.

Jensen has a masters degree in culture and technology from the University of Oslo, and has studied Arabic at the University of Bergen and the American University in Cairo. In his master’s dissertation he wrote about censorship and blogging in Iran.

He has never been a member of any political party in Norway, and after completing his compulsory military service, he says he has never touched a gun.

After the terrorist attack and his blog being cited as an influence, Jensen says he will never use the alias «Fjordman» again.

- I don’t wish to be associated with Breivik and his horrible actions, he says.
