Intro to Documentary ‘Silence Patton’

Here’s a rarity I’ve ran into. I typically surf the Internet looking for reads or videos that inspire thoughts to blog about. After today’s surfing, nothing inspired my human spirit to engage.

AND SO, I am going to dwell on a 2018 Documentary entitled “Silence Patton” post on The Michelle Moore Show Rumble Channel on 2/19/25.

In case my readers are unaware I am a bit of a history buff and actually have a 1981 BA in History from Central Washington University. As such WWII history has always held an interest though in full disclosure was not the focus of my BA Degree.

My history buff sentiments led me to consider General George S. Patton, Jr to be one of my favorite generals to read about. So much so the 1970 movie “Patton starring George C. Scott remains one of my favorite movies. General Patton was noted for his colorful profanity and the movie probably scales back the actual Patton profanity for the benefit of early 1970s movie goers. Even scaled back it is too much profanity for my wife of 35 years to enjoy the epic biopic movie “Patton” in repeat viewing that these days I do alone.

For any other WWII history buffs here are some websites to check out that range from official history according to academic consensus to the Conspiracy Theory General Patton was murdered:

Rumble VIDEO: 'Silence Patton' Special Documentary Feature: The Michelle Moore Show (Feb 19, 2025)

[Blog Editor: I’m a bit of a history buff (and even have a BA in History). General George Patton has always been one of my favorite American Generals. History records Patton’s death was a tragic accident. This Documentary questions that official history. The Michelle Moore Show on Rumble streamed this 2018 Documentary on her Channel. There is about 55-Seconds of the show’s followed by the Documentary.]

Silence Patton (2018) This documentary asks the question: Why was General Patton silenced during his service in World War II? Prevented from receiving needed supplies that would have ended the war nine months earlier, freed the death camps, and prevented Russian invasion of the Eastern Bloc, and Stalin's murderous rampage. Why was he fired as General of the Third Army and relegated to a governorship of post-war Bavaria? Who were his enemies? Was he a threat to Eisenhower, Montgomery, Churchill, and Bradley? And is it possible as some say that the General's freakish collision with an Army truck, on the day before his departure for US, was not really an accident? Or was Patton not only dismissed by his peers, but the victim of an assassin's bullet at their behest? Was his personal silence necessary?
