Traditionally in Christendom this is day (in 2025 anyway)
is celebrated as Good Friday. The day the Lord Jesus the Christ and Son of God was
nailed to a Cross and died. ONLY two arise bodily on the first day of the week –
a Sunday – to Resurrection Life. This is the central theme to becoming a Born
Again Christian and to begin a New Creation Life in Jesus the Savior.
The spiritual formula for acquiring this New Creation Life
is actually very simple as illustrated in Romans 10: 8-13 NKJV:
8 But what
does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is,
the word of faith which we preach): 9 that
if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that
God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For
with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession
is made unto salvation. 11 For the Scripture
says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” 12 For
there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is
rich to all who call upon Him. 13 For “whoever
calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” [Blog Editor Bold Text

Redemption then is simple. Yet there is some action of
repentance that seals a New Creation Life in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 4:
17-24 NKJV
illustrates:
17 This I
say, therefore, and testify in the Lord, that you should no longer walk as [a]the rest of the Gentiles walk, in
the futility of their mind, 18 having their
understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God, because of the
ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart; 19 who,
being past feeling, have given themselves over to lewdness, to work all
uncleanness with greediness.
20 But
you have not so learned Christ, 21 if indeed
you have heard Him and have been taught by Him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 that
you put off, concerning your former conduct, the old man which grows corrupt
according to the deceitful lusts, 23 and be
renewed in the spirit of your mind, 24 and
that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true
righteousness and holiness.

The Elijah List
God Is Calling Us Higher
2025 has marked a season of deeper surrender and holy
pursuit, an invitation to cross over into resurrection life. Just as Abraham
believed that Isaac could be raised from the dead (Hebrews 11:19), Elijah
stretched himself over the lifeless body of a boy and called him back to life
(1 Kings 17:21–22), Jesus raised Lazarus from the grave after four days (John
11:43–44), and, ultimately, Jesus himself rose from death, becoming the
Firstborn among many brethren (Romans 8:29), so too are we invited to walk in this
eternal resurrection dimension.
He is not only our Savior who died but our Apostle and Great
High Priest who lives forever, holding the keys of death and hell, and
mediating resurrection power for those who will believe.
This month, the veil is lifting by faith. There is a holy
stirring to step into the realm where the risen Christ now abides—a realm
beyond death, beyond striving—into rest, power, and radiant joy. The costs
of being buried with him through the baptism into death will yield astonishing
results when we cross the threshold into new life. But Jesus lives in this
space, and he's beckoning us higher.
"Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into
death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father,
even so we also should walk in newness of life." (Romans 6:4 NKJV)
"...buried with Him in
baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of
God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses... He
has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses."
(Colossians 2:12–13 NKJV)
In this article, I'll share my own dealings and insights,
not sharing as one who has arrived but as one who seeks a better testimony. May
the mercy of God draw you beyond the tomb, and may his resurrection life flood
every hidden chamber of your heart and flow out of you!
The Cry That Shifted Everything
In a recent moment of surrender before the Lord, feeling
weary, having laid my soul bare on the altar... I had to lay all down again and
again, it seemed. I asked the Lord to heal my body and cried from my heart for
every enemy to be brought under his feet. I cried out for his will, not mine.
It is only him that really matters, not even the requests but the testimony of
knowing him.

Then, the words came: "He is risen. He is risen,
indeed." Not from tradition but by a prompting of the Spirit, they
began to resound in my ears and heart. The Holy Spirit put them in my mouth,
and they became a spark—disrupting, shifting, aligning my perspective.
An Invitation to Step Out of the Tomb
These weren't just verses anymore. They were an invitation:
Step out of the tomb. Step into resurrection life.
So I prayed, "Lord, have mercy. Let your grace abound.
Cause us to walk in your resurrection power. We yield. We long for it. We put
off every heavy yoke and take yours, for it is easy and light."
A Blueprint for the Months Ahead
As I lingered in that moment, I was reminded of a prophetic
word I received back in February about the rhythm of monthly seasons. April was
highlighted as a "season of affection," a time when the heart of the
Father is revealed more tenderly, a time of deep revelation of the Lamb, and a
prophetic unlocking of resurrection life.
This word is not just for April; it sets the tone for what's
to come. God is moving us from survival into kingdom flourishing. Each month
carries a prophetic rhythm, and this season is crucial for aligning our hearts
and prayers with what he's doing. Join us in praying into these prophetic
veins. Intercede for alignment, resurrection life, divine affection, and the
fresh oil of intimacy. Let us walk together in his purposes and glory.
Let April be a holy reset. Let it be marked with tears of
joy, bold acts of obedience, the sound of celebration, and a posture of
resurrection readiness. May we carry the awe of the empty tomb into every
room, releasing the fragrance of resurrection life everywhere we go.
Prophetic Alignment: April's Season of Affection
As confirmation, I recently learned from Dutch Sheets at the
Healing Summit on April 4 that this month is also the biblical month of
Nissan—the month of miracles. According to Hebraic understanding, Nissan is the
first month of the sacred or spiritual calendar, and a time of deliverance,
redemption, and supernatural breakthrough. It is also known as the month of
renewal and new beginnings, the beginning of spring, and the month connected
with speech. It's a time to repair our words, to align our mouths with heaven,
and speak life, not limitation.
This month carries prophetic weight and significance. It's
when Israel was brought out of Egypt. It's when Jesus rose from the grave. It's
when God redefined history with miracles. And it's a month to walk out of
bondage and into promises.
A Month of Miracles and New Beginnings

What happens in the month of Nissan? Here are just a few
significant events:
§ Abraham,
Isaac, and Jacob are traditionally believed to have been born in Nissan,
marking covenant beginnings and generational legacy.
§ God
establishes Nissan as the first month (Exodus 12:2), marking a new beginning
for God's people.
§ The
Israelites are delivered from Egypt (Exodus 12–14); this is a deliverance from
bondage and slavery.
§ The
Red Sea crossing is traditionally believed to have been in Nissan; it is a
supernatural victory and crossing into freedom.
§ Miriam
leads the women in a song of victory—a prophetic picture of worship after
deliverance.
§ The
Tabernacle is set up on the first of Nissan (Exodus 40:2); a dwelling place for
God is established.
§ A
lamb is selected for Passover on the tenth of Nissan, pointing to Jesus as the
Lamb, chosen before the foundation of the world.
§ The
first Passover is celebrated; the blood of the lamb brings protection and
covenant.
§ Israel
crosses the Jordan into the Promised Land (Joshua 4–5)—a transition from
wilderness to inheritance.
§ Ezra
begins his return to Jerusalem to restore worship (Ezra 7:9), the restoration
and rebuilding of the spiritual altar.
§ Haman
casts lots (Pur) in the month of Nissan (Esther 3:7); God's hidden hand
begins a plan for Israel's deliverance.
§ Esther
triumphs over Haman's evil decree, which is a supernatural reversal, preserving
God's people.
§
Jesus is crucified and resurrected; this is
the fulfillment of Passover and a release of resurrection power.
A Sudden Realization: The Other Side of the Cross
I came a sudden realization... I'd camped on one side of the
cross: the crucifixion, the suffering, the daily dying. And rightly so; it is
sacred ground. Yet I hadn't fully crossed over to the other side: resurrection.
Yes, I had been baptized into his death, but had I truly
embraced what it means to be raised with him in glory? The Lord began to show
me that I had identified so deeply with the wilderness, the hardship, "the
challenge," and the fire that I was resisting the ease that comes through
the Blood—the rest, the joy, the resurrection, the power, and the freedom.
The Breaking: New Songs Follow Repentance

Then came a song—a holy disruption. I was listening to Mercy
Culture's worship song, "It's the Blood," and the words pierced me:
"The Blood makes it easy." I began to repent. I renounced the belief
that it had to be hard all the time. I confessed how I had over-identified with
suffering, that I had carried a belief that made the journey heavier than Jesus
ever intended, because I had placed more weight on sacrifice than on
resurrection grace.
I continued to pray, releasing the song of deliverance and
healing, and the testimony of God's mighty works—like Miriam, who danced in
victory; Hannah, who cried out in barrenness and rejoiced in fulfillment; Mary,
who carried the promise and sang with wonder; Zechariah, who prophesied the
coming King. Add to this song the voices of Deborah, Elizabeth, David, Simeon,
and Anna—those who saw, believed, and declared. Let God's song go forth in
celebration.
He Walks Among the Lampstands
As I continued in prayer, the Lord began to show me
something deeper. He reminded me of the risen Christ in Revelation 1, walking
among the golden lampstands. As the Risen One, he is not distant. He walks
among his church with great love, keen insight, and shepherding wisdom. He
tends the flame. He strengthens the weak. He corrects with mercy. He is
preparing his bride with tender affection and holy fire.
The resurrection is not just an event we remember, it is a
person we encounter daily. The one who conquered death walks among us now,
trimming the wicks, pouring the oil, and lighting the lamps of those willing to
burn. God is faithful to his word.
Activation Prayer: Walking in Resurrection Power
Father, in the name of Jesus, we thank you for this
divine season of refreshing and resurrection. We accept the call to move from
preparation into power. We have been baptized into your death, now let us reign
with you in your resurrection. We say yes to the shift from wilderness to
wonder, from surviving to overcoming, from pressing to possessing. We step out
of the tomb and into the fullness of your life. We shake off the grave clothes
of weariness, heaviness, and fear, and we put on garments of praise, boldness,
and resurrection power.
We align our hearts and our words with heaven. Let our
mouths speak life. Let our prayers release miracles. Let our worship resound
with the victory of the Lamb.
Lord, we receive your affection, your joy, and your
commissioning. May your love and holy affection make us brand new. Walk among
us, trim our lamps, pour out fresh oil, revive our vision, and awaken our
purpose.
This month, we rise with you. We declare Nissan as our
crossover month—from bondage to promise, from preparation to power, and from
survival to kingdom flourishing. In Jesus' name, amen.
He is confirming what he's already spoken. He is awakening
our hearts. He is walking among us. May this revelation of the risen Christ
open up to you in deeper dimensions of love, power, and glory.
