The Democratic Party's Illegitimate Use of Impeachment

The House Judiciary Committee, led by the majority
Democratic Party, voted 23 to 17 along party lines to impeach President
Donald J. Trump on Friday December 13th 2019, and the Democratic Party is
moving full steam ahead with its lies and the weaponized impeachment process,
that is an extremely flagrant, unacceptable and odious act, ignoring
the truth. This exercise in evil, based on a deep hatred for the President
and for America, is so devoid of sense and prudence that it would embarrass all
the kangaroos ever assembled in the courts of legend, since it issues two
articles of impeachment, two articles of fiction, that charge "abuse of
power" and "contempt of Congress".
These charges are dubious at best, as they project the Democratic Party's own
offenses, and even have many members of the greater Democrat caucus in the
House nervous over staking their political futures on a vote for this
idiocy.
On December 10th, Representative Lee Zeldin (R-NY) exclaimed, "With this
disgusting impeachment charade, House Democrats have proven themselves guilty
of Abuse of Power and Obstruction of Congress."
According to the New York Times, as of December 13th, one
hundred and fifty-five of 235 House Democrats have expressed their support for
the impeachment of President Trump. [Blog Editor: My brief efforts could not
locate Justin’s NYT data, but NYT data on Impeachment Inquiry dated 10/10/19 has 227 Dems supporting
Impeachment. BUT that was long before the GOP confronted
Schiff, Nadler & Pelosi with facts vs hearsay.] Twelve representatives
are still undecided or unclear on their decision, and sixty-six have not
responded yet. One, Rep. Jeff Van Drew (D-NJ), appears to be a solid
"No".
However, a point made by Senate Majority Leader Mitch
McConnell in November still holds true going into 2020, when he told reporters, "It is
inconceivable to me that (the Senate vote) would be 67 votes to remove the
president from office."
During the airing of Meet the Press on December 8th,
that highlights the hypocrisy and double-standards utilized by Democrats, host
Chuck Todd noted that 21 years ago, as the impeachment of President Bill
Clinton unfolded, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler [is quoted
to have] stated: "Impeaching a president, when you have not got a
broad consensus of the American people, a broad agreement of almost everybody
that this fellow has to go, because he's a clear and present danger to our
liberty and to our Constitution, without that, you cannot and should not
impeach a president. Because to do so is to call into question the legitimacy
of all our political institutions." Obviously, Nadler has departed a great
distance from his former beliefs, as he invents new standards for impeachment.
On December 9th, former Independent Counsel Ken Starr, of
Watergate fame, told Tucker Carlson at Fox News:
"Impeachment should be the last resort and now it’s just a political
tool."
Since the 2016 elections, misusing the impeachment process,
these Democratic Party traitors to America, such as Maxine Waters, Steve Cohen,
Jim Cooper and Al Green, have attempted to impeach President Trump over
everything imaginable, from his tax returns and the Emoluments Clause to
Russian collusion, Ukrainian quid pro quo and on to obstruction of justice,
obstruction of Congress and bribery. They have wasted weeks in formal
impeachment proceedings that more closely resembled a LefortovoSoviet style sham, where they
unilaterally declared that President Trump's intent was to harm Joe Biden's bid
for the Democratic Party presidential nomination; however, the facts do clearly
exhibit, President Trump was actually more focused on seeing the Democrats'
real corruption and criminal acts, pertaining to kickback payments from Ukraine
to Hunter Biden exposed and investigated.

On December 5th, during an interview at the Women's
Leadership Summit, Speaker Nancy Pelosi
was asked, "Was there an 'aha' moment for you
personally, a piece of evidence or testimony that swayed you now to take this
step (forward with the rapid impeachment of President Trump)?” Pelosi answered
this and two follow-up questions, with the following: "... all I
hear from the press is that I move so swiftly that it's like a blur going by.
This has been a couple of years -- two and a half -- since the initial
investigation of the Russian involvement in America's election, which started
much of this and led to other things. ... So all along, I have said for two
years, this is an impeachment ... We don't take any glee in this at all. It is
heartbreaking."
So how could all of the current impeachment talk really be
about Ukraine and an innocent phone call, when Ukraine wasn't on the agenda two
years ago, especially when all parties concerned, including Chairman Jerrold
Nadler have admitted there wasn't any quid pro quo? Even if there had been a
quid pro quo, it wouldn't have constituted an abuse of power, since
America has never just handed foreign nations money without any expectations.
And as far as President Trump's instructions to White House staff not to
honor Congressional subpoenas, rather than an "obstruction of
Congress", this is simply a classic struggle and an exertion of rights
between co-equal branches of government; most certainly President Trump cannot
allow a rogue House to trample, thwart and usurp the White House.
"We don't take any glee in this at all" ...? Like
hell they don't.
A few days after Pelosi's revelation, House Judiciary
Committee ranking member Doug Collins suggested America should look at the
Articles of Impeachment. He observed that the term
"abuse of power" is so ambiguous and so vague" that it's hard to
even define, and they use its ambiguity to make it mean whatever they want it
to mean. And Alan Dershowitz, a civil libertarian professor of law at Harvard
University and a Democrat opponent of President Trump, essentially agrees with
that assessment in his December 10th article, as he
noted that abuse of power and obstruction of Congress are not mentioned in the
Constitution and neither one is a high crime and misdemeanor. Dershowitz
focused on Alexander Hamilton's position that "vague criteria would allow
a majority of the House to impeach a president from the opposing party just
because they had more votes than the president's party", which Hamilton
called 'the greatest danger".
The Democrats are abusing their power and weaponizing
impeachment, dividing the nation, because if the early hearings had utilized
due process addressing the issue and the President's alleged wrongdoing, the
entire process would have already ended, since President Trump has absolutely
done nothing wrong. The Democrats simply fear the coming 2020 elections and
they wish to be able to repeat over and over the words "impeach, impeach
... President Trump was impeached" in hopes of smearing him enough to make
a difference.
From November to the present, President Trump has exuded a
"bring it on" attitude, stating "Frankly, I want a trial."
Only one attempt to impeach the president was seen in the
first 184 years of our nation's existence, and in the last 45 years our nation
has witnessed three, with President Trump well on his way to be the third U.S.
President in American history to be impeached, before the Christmas holidays,
although it is highly unlikely that the Senate will also vote to remove
President Trump, as the sham proceedings head into next year. The larger
question will be whether or not the issue even gets more than 50 votes to
remove President Trump, since some Democrats, such as Senator Joe Manchin of
West Virginia, and all the Republicans, with the possible exceptions of
Senators Lisa Murkowski and Mitt Romney, will vote against removing President

And every cogent thinking, logical freedom loving American
would certainly want to hear testimony from Representative Adam
"Shifty" Schiff -- UNDER OATH -- who engineered Ciaramella's entrance
into this Ukrainian imbroglio and sequel to the Russiagate hoax. Schiff will
certainly stay true to his immoral character and lie about his involvement and
his actions, and any such perjury regarding such a serious matter before all
America should result in his expulsion from Congress in disgrace. Bring in all
the bad actors with pertinent knowledge on the allegations and the plot against
the President, from crack-cocaine smoking Hunter Biden to Lt Colonel Vindman,
U.S. Army, U.S. National Security Council Director for European Affairs and a de facto Ukrainian agent, and on
to Daniel Goldman, the attorney and
director for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and compel
them all to testify under penalty of perjury.
Each time I hear Nadler and Pelosi, or any other
Democrat, attempt to equate their treasonous impeachment tactic to
"service to our duty to the Constitution and our country", a
white-flash passes through my eyes, bile fills my mouth and hot anger courses
through my blood. In the end, the Democratic Party has provided all
freedom and liberty loving Americans with more than ample reason to never vote
for any Democrat ever again, as we join hands to right our country and renew
and restore our Constitutional Republic.
This marks the first time in U.S. history that an
impeachment has proceeded to a vote of the full House, without any clear
criminal act and on the slimmest of "evidence" of any wrongdoing. Not
only is this the most un-American act I have witnessed in my lifetime, it is a
gross violation of the rule of law and the Constitution by Democratic Party
petty tyrants, who have illegitimately changed the rules, manipulated our
Supreme Law, and used any means at hand, both legal and illegal, in their numerous
attempts to fully attain their endgame of ousting President Trump. And in the
process, these traitors have subverted the will of the people and the U.S.
Constitution, stopping at nothing in the pursuit of power, and created a
Constitutional crisis that strikes at the heart of America's society and Her
Republic, deepening and widening our political divides and pushing America
closer to a point of no return.

Well-Well… Speaker-in-Name-Only Pelosi has decided to have a
House Resolution on an Impeachment Inquiry Thursday 10/31/19. That certainly
signifies Pelosi feels she has the votes to follow through with the idiocy of
impeaching for zero crimes.
BUT what I am interested in are those who will go on record –
be it Dems or RINOs – to get rid of a duly elected President who has committed
no crimes such as Slick Willie did in the 1990s. Especially those Dems who won

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Monday the House will
finally vote this week on a resolution to legitimize the Trump impeachment
inquiry – which is exactly what Trump wanted them to do.
Pelosi sent out a formal letter to Democratic House
lawmakers to say that the resolution “affirms the ongoing, existing
investigation” and “establishes the procedure” for future investigative steps.
“We are taking this step to eliminate any doubt as to
whether the Trump administration may withhold documents, prevent witness testimony,
disregard duly authorized subpoenas, or continue obstructing the House of
Representatives,” Pelosi said.
The vote is slated to take place Thursday on the House
floor.
The actual result that will come from the vote is the
setting of process ground rules. Now the Democrats will have to play by the
rules that they were conveniently ignoring before.
Republicans, fully aware that Pelosi took the bait, seized
the opportunity to go after the Dems.
South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham criticized Democrats by
saying, “A vote now is a bit like un-ringing a bell as House Democrats have
selectively leaked information in order to damage President Trump for weeks.”
House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy said, “What it
authorizes is that we were right. You can’t go back now.”
The White House pointed out that the move serves as proof
that Democrats have been conducting an “unauthorized” inquiry.
“We won’t be able to comment fully until we see the actual
text, but Speaker Pelosi is finally admitting what the rest of America already
knew – that Democrats were conducting an unauthorized impeachment proceeding,
refusing to give the President due process, and their secret, shady, closed-door
depositions are completely and irreversibly illegitimate,” White House press
secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement.
For weeks now, Republicans have been calling for a formal
House vote, arguing that the current handling of impeachment was illegitimate.
Earlier this month, the White House sent a daring eight-page
letter to Pelosi and other top Democrats saying that it would not cooperate
with the fraudulent impeachment inquiry.
“I take pride in the fact that our vigorous response to their
underhanded tactics ended up making the House Democrat position untenable,”
Graham said Monday. “Today, they were forced to change course.”
Pelosi made clear in her letter that the vote is being
conducted because of the pressure put on by Republicans.
She accused Trump and his GOP allies of holding the position
that “because the House has not taken a vote, they may simply pretend the
impeachment inquiry does not exist.”
Even as she announced a formal vote, Pelosi insisted Monday
that this argument “has no merit.”
“This resolution establishes the procedure for hearings
that are open to the American people, authorizes the disclosure of deposition
transcripts, outlines procedures to transfer evidence to the Judiciary
Committee as it considers potential articles of impeachment, and sets forth due
process rights for the president and his counsel,” she said.
Just two weeks ago, however, Pelosi was adamant that there
would be no formal vote at that point, refusing to bend to meet Republican
demands.
Democrats are now saying that Pelosi has changed her mind,
embracing a vote for “strategic reasons.”

The NRCC briefed House GOP on private polling conducted
Oct. 1-3 in 95 districts (55 D / 40 GOP). Don't expect any cracks in
GOP unity: memo concludes voters "are much more willing to vote for a
GOP candidate opposing impeachment than a Democrat supporting
it."
On Twitter she wrote that the National Republican
Congressional Committee "briefed House GOP on private polling conducted
Oct. 1-3 in 95 districts (55D /40 GOP)."
"Don't expect any cracks in GOP unity: memo concludes
voters 'are much more willing to vote for a GOP candidate opposing impeachment
than a Democrat supporting it.'"
The Twitter news aggregator Twitchy
commented: "Democrats seem to know that as well, which
is why all the talk of impeachment hasn't yet moved along any formal votes
being called."
The Hill reported the
White House planned to send House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., a letter
urging her to hold an impeachment vote.
"By sending Pelosi the letter, Trump and the White
House are aiming to force House Democrats in toss-up districts to take a formal
stance on impeachment," Axios noted.
"Republican sources say that even as the chamber’s
minority party, GOP lawmakers can have a greater say in impeachment hearings
and other parts of an inquiry once the full chamber formally approves it,"
the report said.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., already
has dared the Democrats to vote.
Warned Twitchy, "The Dems may well also know they're
sitting on a potentially epic backfire."
The Democrats have been lobbying for impeachment since
before Trump took office. They've tried claims such as collusion with Russia,
obstruction and corruption. Their latest is that the president threatened to
withhold military aid if Ukraine didn't investigate Hunter Biden's financial
bonanza from a Ukrainian natural gas company while his father Joe Biden was the
Obama administration's point man for the country. Trump contends the
withholding of military aid was unrelated and he had a right to discuss serious
corruption allegations relevant to Ukraine and the United States.
One radical Democrat, Rep. Rashida Tlaib of Michigan,
announced at her election party that she was going to Washington to "impeach
the m-----------."
Pelosi for months had resisted moving on impeachment,
claiming she wanted to see the evidence first.
She also is aware that the impeachment of Democratic
President Bill Clinton backfired on House Republicans.

An audio recording obtained by the conservative radio and
television network TheBlaze appears to show a top Ukrainian official admitting
to trying to damage Donald Trump’s campaign in a bid to help Hillary Clinton.
You’ll recall in August 2016, then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort
resigned his post following the revelation of his past lobbying work for
pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarchs.
Politico
reported at the time, “In recent days, Manafort had lost the confidence of
Jared Kushner, Trump’s son-in-law and one of his closest advisers, and other
members of Trump’s family, according to a source close to the campaign.”
“The family was particularly troubled by reports of Manafort’s
involvement with Russia and felt he hadn’t been entirely forthright about his
activities overseas, the source said,” the news outlet added.
In an audio recording obtained by TheBlaze,
Artem Sytnyk, director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, who
was tried and convicted in Ukraine for interfering in the U.S. presidential
election in 2016, can be heard bragging about his work to friends “Kolya” and
“Ivan.”
On Friday, conservative commentator Glenn Beck, who founded
TheBlaze, shared a translation
of the tape.
“Did they, those Russians, help Trump? Your people?” Kolya
asks.
“I think they did. Yeah. I helped him, too. Not him, but
Hillary. I helped her,” Sytnyk responds.
“I was in charge of the investigation of their ‘black
accounting’ records. We made the Manafort’s data available to general public,”
Sytnyk later says.
“So what?” Kolya asked.
“He was imprisoned,” Sytnyk answers. “Manafort then was the
head of the Supreme Headquarter of Trump, right? Then he was dismissed, too,
including due to the ‘black accounting.’ After that, he was sentenced to 80
years of imprisonment term.”

According to Beck, the Democratic National Committee was working
with the Ukrainian government through a Democratic operative named Alexandra
Chalupa.
Andrii Telizhenko, the Ukrainian embassy political officer
stationed at the country’s embassy in the U.S. at the time, stated that the
Ukrainians “were coordinating an investigation with the Hillary team on Paul
Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa” and that “the embassy worked very closely
with” Chalupa.
Beck pointed to an email made public by WikiLeaks between
Chalupa and Louise Miranda at the DNC.
“Hey, a lot coming down the pipe. I spoke to a delegation of
68 investigative journalists from Ukraine last night at the Library of
Congress, the Open World Society forum. They put me on the program to speak
specifically about Paul Manafort,” Chalupa wrote.
“I invited (American journalist) Michael Isikoff, who I’ve
been working with for the past few weeks, and connected him to the Ukrainians,”
she added.
“More offline tomorrow, since there was a big Trump
component you and Lauren need to be aware of that will hit in the next few
weeks. Something I’m working on that you should be aware of.”

The Democrats have struggled for
years now to find the evidence they need to prove Russia colluded with Donald
Trump during the 2016 election. But while they take Americans in circles with
their empty allegations, the DNC was doing exactly the same thing in Ukraine.

Zelensky to investigate 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden.
Pelosi has accused Trump
of delaying military aid in order to pressure Zelensky to open an investigation
on Biden and his son Hunter’s alleged corruption.
Trump has denied wrongdoing and specifically that there was
any quid pro quo, while Zelensky has stated he did not feel pressured
by the president’s request.
Trump released the Ukrainian aid in mid-September. No
investigation had been launched against the Bidens by Ukraine, according to The Associated Press.
So let’s get this straight. Pelosi and her Democratic
lawmaker political lynch mob are trying to run Trump out of office because he
expressed some interest in learning more about the Bidens potential corruption
in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, they find nothing wrong with the DNC actively
obtaining assistance from Ukraine during the closing months of the 2016
presidential campaign that resulted in Trump firing his campaign chairman.
It’s perfect Democrat hypocrisy on display.
There they go again, accusing Trump of doing the very thing
they in fact did.

Impeachment's Tale of the Tape
Audio recording charts Democrat collusion with Ukraine
to help Hillary and harm Trump.
Over the weekend a new whistleblower, like the first
unidentified, generated Monday morning headlines such as: “Second whistleblower
emerges in Trump impeachment inquiry, said to be one of ‘multiple’
complainants,” from the Los Angeles Times. CBS News tagged a story “New
whistleblower could blow up Trump’s main argument” And then came this:
“BOMBSHELL: Audio, Email Evidence Shows DNC Colluded With Ukraine To Boost
Hillary By Harming Trump, Report Says,” from Ryan Saavedra on the Daily Wire.
According to the story, The Blaze obtained an audio
recording with Ukraine anti-corruption boss Artem Sytnyk admitting that he
tried to sabotage the campaign of candidate Trump to boost the campaign of
Hillary Clinton. Sytnyk’s contact was Alexandra Chalupa of the DNC, a veteran
of the Clinton administration. As Askold Kryshelnycky noted in the Kyiv Post
last October, “the connection between the Democratic National Committee (DNC)
and the Ukrainian government was veteran Democratic operative Alexandra
Chalupa.”
According to Saavedra, Andrii Telizhenko of the Ukrainian
embassy revealed that the Ukrainians “were coordinating an investigation with
the Hillary team on Paul Manafort with Alexandra Chalupa” and that she worked
“very closely” with the embassy. In an email to Louise Miranda of the DNC,
Chalupa wrote “I invited Michael Isikoff, who I’ve been working with for the
past few weeks, and connected him to the Ukrainians. More offline tomorrow,
since there was a big Trump component you and Lauren need to be aware of that
will hit in the next few weeks. Something I’m working on that you should be
aware of.”
In the audio obtained by The Blaze, Artem Sytnyk tells
someone named Kolya, “I helped her,” that is “Hillary.” Trump has a “purely
inner problem” and “didn’t give a shit” about Manafort. On the other
hand, Sytnyk explains, “Hillary, she is – how shall I put it? She
belongs to the cohort of politicians who comprise the hegemony in the U.S. Both
in the U.S. and the entire world, right? For us, it’s … sort of … better. For
Americans … what Trump is doing is better for them.”
Readers might wonder why these revelations didn’t get much
traction with the establishment media. They might also recall that President
Trump revealed the transcript of his own call with Volodymyr Zelensky. In
response, Adam Schiff composed lines such as “I have a
favor I want from you,” “I want you to make up dirt on my political opponent,
understand? Lots of dirt on this and that.” And so on, doubtless hoping the
television audience would take it for the real thing. Based on his record,
viewers have grounds to believe that Schiff probably wrote the complaint of the
“whistleblower” and others now allegedly emerging.
Based on revelations to date, the faux whistleblowers will
be intel types. That is more evidence that POTUS 44, the “composite character” biographer
David Garrow described in Rising Star, totally transformed the U.S.
intel establishment, foreign and domestic, into a partisan, deep-state strike
force. That partisan force exonerated the president’s chosen successor, Hillary
Clinton, and framed opponent Donald Trump.
That continued through the bogus Mueller probe and now the
campaign from Adam Schiff-Nancy Pelosi Productions, in which fake
“whistleblowers” reprise the role of dossier composer Christopher Steele.
Democrats have good cause to get this show on the road in a hurry.
With the 2020 election just around the corner, candidate Joe
Biden often seems unsure of his location. Exposed as a fake Cherokee, Elizabeth
Warren continues to run, and the others tout open borders and suicide pacts
like the Green New Deal. A candidate who can beat Trump seems to have an
existential problem, but there’s more to it.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz is coming out with a
report on FISA abuses. Attorney General William Barr and John Durham are
looking into the origins of the deep-state campaign against Trump, jostling
with members of the Clinton Coup Clan such as Andrew McCabe, James Comey, James
Clapper and John Brennan. It’s all so complicated but a famous movie might help
clear things up.
In Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey, the HAL
9000 computer controls the entire spaceship Discovery One, but astronauts Frank
Poole and Dave Bowman find the supposedly infallible HAL to be faulty. HAL
uncovers their plot to disconnect him and bumps off Frank. Dave manages to
reenter the ship and sets about disconnecting HAL.
“Just what do you think you are doing, Dave?” HAL says. Dave
ignores him and HAL Protests, “Will you stop, Dave? I’m afraid. I’m afraid,
Dave.”
In similar style, the Democrats’ intel ubermenschen[Blog

for supermen, the plural of ubermensch – superman. From Nietzsche’s philosophy] have been
running the show and trying to overturn an election. Barr and Durham are
looking into it, and like HAL the Democrats are afraid of what they will find.
So Schiff-Pelosi Productions rushes out the Ukraine thriller, hoping to remove
Trump or taint him beyond repair for 2020.
Barr and Durham should ignore the complaints of Brennan,
McCabe, Eric Holder et al and keep working three shifts to reveal the truth,
the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. That will be a better show than
anything with the Schiff -Pelosi stank all over it.
