The CT (Connecticut) Mirror recently published, "At Muslim Sunday school, learning about Islam — and correcting misconceptions" by Vanessa De La Torre. This article had a lot of misinformation within it. Sadly, this comes as no surprise since the "trusted source" was Dr. Reza Mansoor. 

Dr. Reza Mansoor is not someone to trust when he talks to non-Muslims about what Muslims believe. Part of this is because he believes it in Islam's best interest to deceive you, the non-Muslims about what Islam teaches on Jihad. This practice is part and parcel of practicing shariah and deceiving the non-believer.

This article provides no sources to stand behind Dr. Reza Mansoor's statements on jihad. It ignores shariah which is cited in Reliance on the Traveller. An English translation of Arabic Umdat al-Salik. This book is recommended by the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT). I  personally recommend to anyone who wants the truth on what jihad means to read o.9.0 Jihad. I also recommend reading the 1915 Fatwa given by the last official caliph. This fatwa was very clear on what jihad means and how it should be carried out. It speaks of three different levels of jihad, Heart, Word, and Action/Deed.

It is unethical in this country for a person claiming the title of professor to purposefully misinform the public in the area of his/her content. This is grounds for dismissal by professorial malfeasance.

In the same respect, articles and books exposing the recent lies of Dr. Mansoor on this topic were previously written in detail. "How Taqiyya Alters Islam's Rules of War Defeating Jihadist Terrorism," by Raymond Ibrahim  was published in the Winter of 2010. This is among the best responses to this misinformation. Humorously, it was written 9 years ago.

My suggestion is for CT Mirror should remove the purposeful misinformation by Dr. Mansoor. Reliability of sources is key for any piece of journalism. Dr. Mansoor has shown himself not to be credible!

I was very disappointed to read Vanessa de la Torre's article, "At Muslim Sunday school, learning about Islam and correcting misconceptions." This piece is full of 'taqiyya,' the obligatory deception of non-Muslims. An explanation of this phenomenon can be found in section r8.2 of the "Reliance of the Traveller": r8.2 “Speaking is a means to achieve objectives. If a praiseworthy aim is attainable through both telling the truth and lying, it is unlawful to accomplish through lying because there is no need for it. When it is possible to achieve such an aim by lying but not by telling the truth, it is permissible to lie if attaining the goal is permissible and obligatory to lie if the goal is obligatory”.

In the article, we're told the popular line that 'jihad' means a personal or spiritual struggle. Though it can mean that, and that sort of 'jihad' is considered the 'greater jihad,' nonetheless, approximately 98% of the times the word 'jihad' appears in Islamic doctrine, its meaning is military warfare. To describe it as a "personal struggle, then, is disingenuous.

And, of course, there's the ubiquitous claim that Islam is the "religion of peace." But how peaceful is a religion that mandates death for apostasy? (Section o8.1 of the Reliance) How about a religion that assigns no penalty to a Muslim who kills his children, grandchildren or non-Muslims? (Section o1.2 of the Reliance). Lastly, a thorough reading of the section of 'jihad' -military warfare against unbelievers - which begins with Section o9.0, will leave the reader with no doubts that this is no religion of peace.”

Be aware that there are radical muslims who don't hesitate to kill their own fellow muslims who don't conform to their idea and standard of a true muslim, how much more of us non-muslims, hated and despised by their god who only yearn for our suffering, misfortune and distruction, they won't even blink their eyes cutting off our head. All of these are inspired by the hateful and violent verses of the koran and events in the hadith.

So who flew jet airliners into the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001? Was it DB Cooper hijacking cash? Was it extortionists demanding money and a free pass to Cuba or they will crash the jet into the Twin Towers? Or was it perhaps Right Wing Extremists demanding personal sovereignty from the U.S. government? Maybe it was friends of Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn showing the resurrection of the violent Communist the Weathermen Underground?

NO!

It was Islamic terrorist members of al Qaeda executing jihad against the symbol of American Wealth. AND these Islamic terrorist were not using telekinesis of their minds fighting an inner struggle to comply with Allah. Rather these dudes hijacked airliners with some kind of weaponry and violence probably murdering the pilots then commandeering the jets with skills learned in American flight school to fly them into the Twin Towers.

The National September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center told the truth with a short documentary using terminology like “Islamist” and “jihad”. I would have been even more direct by saying “Islamic Terrorists” following the original Islam of the religion’s founder Mohammed.

The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) wants to perpetuate the Stealth Jihad lie that Islam had nothing to do with al Qaeda Islamic terrorists or violent Jihad to spread Islam by destroying the enemies of Allah.

If you foolishly agree CAIR you have no need to read further.

If you want to take a stand for America like New York City’s first responders and so something about CAIR deceptive lies; ACT! 3. THE ULTIMATE PURPOSE OF THE ATTACK WAS TO CALL THE U.S. TO ISLAM.

In Osama bin Laden’s letter to the American people, which was published on November 24, 2002, he put it succinctly: “The first thing that we are calling you to is Islam.” This was the ultimate purpose of the 9/11 attacks: to weaken the American economy, so that ultimately the American government would collapse. That, presumably, would end what bin Laden and his allies considered to be unacceptable American interference in Muslim countries, and pave the way for the U.S. itself to become an Islamic state. One of the chief reasons that CAIR is waging war against words like “jihad” and “Islamist” is because the group doesn’t want its ideology to be discussed and it certainly doesn’t want Americans to know that it and Al-Qaeda share the same overall Islamist ideology. The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) is at it again.

This time they are working to water down a 7-minute film entitled, “The Rise of Al Qaeda” that will be shown at the soon-to-be opened September 11 Memorial & Museum at the World Trade Center. Specifically, CAIR wants to whitewash the description of Al Qaeda and the 9/11 attacks by having the film edited to remove the words “Islamists” and “jihad.”

We must stop CAIR now! We cannot allow CAIR to rewrite the history of 9/11.

Removing the accurate description of those who caused this heinous attack not only would be factually incorrect, but would be a tragic slap in the face to all Americans, as well as a disservice to all future generations by misrepresenting the truth.

Further, if Jihad truly means to “struggle” and not warfare to establish the religion, how does CAIR explain the names of terrorist organizations such as these?

o   Harkat-ul-Jihad al-Islami (Pakistan, Bangladesh, India)

o   Islamic Front for Armed Jihad (Algeria)

o   Islamic Jihad for the Liberation of Palestine (Lebanon)

o   Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine (Israel)

o   Islamic Jihad Organization (Lebanon)

o   Islamic Jihad Union (Uzbekistan)

o   Jama’at al-Jihad al-Islami (Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Russia)

o   Laskar Jihad (Indonesia)

o   United Jihad Council (India)

You cannot deny the fact that there is a connection between Islam and Jihad. The reality is Jihad is a tenet of Islam. Depicting anything else – and at a memorial dedicated to the remembrance of the 9/11 attacks no less – would be factually dishonest.

We must take action and we must take action now. The National September 11 Memorial and Museum officials must hear what the rest of America thinks about this issue, otherwise, the only ones they will hear from are groups like CAIR. This is your turn to protect historical truth from being erased from the 9/11 Museum. We owe it to our children to keep the truth alive.

Pakistan had its elections on May 11, 2013. Clearly the winning political party is Pakistan Muslim League – N (PML-N [The “N” stands for Nawaz]) meaning the new Prime Minister in Pakistan is Nawaz Sharif.

It appears that Nawaz favors a Free Market but is an adherent to purist Islamic ideology that makes up Radical Islam. The Pakistan Taliban believes democracy and voting are un-Islamic practices. Mohammed Hanif writing for The Guardian wrote this about Nawaz’s PML-N his cricket turned politician rival Imran Khan of Tehreek-e-Insaf Party (PTI or Movement for Justice Party)

The Taliban's real success is that they bet on the winners. They promised not to attack Khan and Sharif's parties. And these parties will be in power. But the Taliban have never contested an election before. And they are soon to find out that politicians never keep the promises they make during the heat of the campaign. Nawaz has said he desires better relations with the USA and arch-rival India. Imran has said he desires to dissolve all military cooperation with American led forces in Afghanistan and ALSO to end the Pakistan government’s war against the Pakistani Taliban.

It is my opinion not to trust a self-proclaimed Islamist like Nawaz and at least Imran is upfront about his hatred for the kafir (i.e. infidel or in this case Americans).

Shamim Masih – my source from Pakistan – is a Christian and I believe he supported the major loosing political party – Pakistan’s Peoples Party (PPP). Shamim has written favorably about at least one PPP candidate that appeared to demonstrate concern of the persecuted Christians in Pakistan.

Christians congratulate the nation for the successful completion of parliamentary elections and would work with newly elected government for the prosperity of the country. Shamim Masih, President Reformation for Empowerment and Alleviation of Poverty – REAP and a journalist, while congratulating PML-N party’s victory in the general election 2013 has demanded the party head Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to protect minorities’ rights as he has committed during his election campaign.

Pakistani Christians religiously and historically have proven to be loyal to their land and always have been subservient to its governments. It’s every Christian’s religious obligation to be obedient to masters.

As it is written in the Bible; “Exhort servants to be obedient unto their own masters and to please them well in all things; not answering again”. Titus 2:9 It is further written “Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the forward”. 1-Peter 2:8

The previous government was busy in their luxurious life of being in Government and sidelined the religious minorities and I hope the PML-N government will restore the ministry of Minorities Affairs which was transformed into Ministry of National Harmony which was established in 2011.

The Social Rights activists’ organizations welcome the coming government, World Vision in Progress – WVIP representative said we hope that PML-N will stop the misuse of blasphemy laws and forced conversion.

Albert David, Chairman Pakistan United Christian Movement (PUCM) has launched its candidates in this election said that minority candidates are elected under proportional representation system, but minority voters cast votes for Muslim candidates running for national and provincial constituencies. PUCM chief demanded PML-N chief will ensure equal opportunities for members of minority communities.

Basharat Khokhar, a human rights activist said that our community is already living below the poverty line, and when someone forces them to join their rally by showing them a gun, they give in. He urged that successful minority candidates in the actively advance minority’s interest instead of towing their respective parties’ line.

Tariq Chaman, president Union of Minority Journalist of Islamabad/Rawalpindi congratulated the PML-N chief and he wants Christians to be given proper jobs in government departments and not that of a sweeper. He further vows that when Mian Sharif expressed his willingness to take all parties on board but stopped short from crediting minority voters’ contribution towards his party’s Muslim candidate success. He hoped that the history will not repeat during PML-N rule and minorities will live in peace.

The Islamic Society of Boston (ISB) was established in 1981 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, to help local Muslims “preserve their Islamic identity” and “observe their obligations as Muslims.” Promoting “a comprehensive and balanced view” of Islam's “universal and timeless” teachings, ISB “strive[s] to embody the 'middle path' to which the Qur’an calls—a path of moderation that is free of extremism.”

ISB was founded by Abdurahman Alamoudi, a supporter of Hamas and Hezbollah who is currently serving a 23-year prison sentence on terrorism charges. One of ISB’s original trustees (for at least 19 years) was Yusuf al-Qaradawi, spiritual leader of the Muslim Brotherhood. At ISB's Cambridge library in 2003, an official of the interfaith group Americans for Peace and Tolerance found a number of jihadi texts as well as writings by the late Muslim Brotherhood leader Sayyid Qutb, who pioneered the ideology that Islamic terror groups like al Qaeda embrace today.

ISB's Cambridge mosque is operated by the Muslim American Society, which federal prosecutors have identified as a U.S. front for the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2009, ISB members founded a sister mosque, known as the Islamic Society of Boston Cultural Center (ISBCC), in Boston's Roxbury section. Saudi funding sources supplied more than half of the $15.5 million that was used to create the new facility. Also key to ISBCC's successful launch was Boston Mayor Thomas Menino's decision to make available, for a small fraction of market value, the land on which the Cultural Center was to be built.

ISB's Cambridge and Boston mosques are both owned by the Islamic Society of Boston Trust. Sheik Basyouny Nehela, who serves as Imam of the Cambridge mosque, is a board-of-directors member of its Boston-based counterpart.

Over the years, a significant number of ISB figures (in addition to the aforementioned Abdurahman Alamoudi) have been implicated in terrorist and/or extremist activities and affiliations. For example:

o   FBI surveillance documents show that two days before the 9/11/2001 terrorist attacks, Suhaib Webb, Imam of ISB's Boston mosque, joined al-Qaeda operative Anwar Awlaki in headlining a fundraiser on behalf of the Atlanta-based Muslim extremist Jamil al-Amin (formerly H. Rap Brown), who had recently murdered two police officers in Georgia.

o   Aafia Siddiqui, who occasionally prayed at ISB's Cambridge mosque, was arrested in Afghanistan in 2008 while in possession of cyanide canisters and plans to carry out a chemical attack in New York City. Siddiqui subsequently tried to gun down some U.S. military officers and FBI agents, and is now serving an 86-year prison sentence for that offense.

o   Tarek Mehanna, who worshipped at ISB's Cambridge mosque, received terrorist training in Yemen and plotted to use automatic weapons to inflict mass casualties in a suburban shopping mall just outside of Boston. In 2012 he was sentenced to 17 years in prison for conspiring to aid al Qaeda.

o   Anwar Kazmi, a member of the ISB Cambridge mosque's board of trustees, publicly called for leniency toward Siddiqui and Mehanna at a Boston rally in February 2012.

o   Jamal Badawi, a former trustee of the Islamic Society of Boston Trust (which owns both ISB mosques), was named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the 2007 Holy Land Foundation terrorism trial that investigated illegal fundraising efforts which had been made in behalf of Hamas.

o   Yasir Qadhi, who lectured at ISB's Boston mosque in 2009 and again in 2012, advocates replacing American democracy with Sharia Law; characterizes Christians as “filthy” polytheists whose “life and prosperity … holds no value in the state of Jihad”; asserts that most modern Jews are descended from the Khazars and thus have no legal or historical claim to Israel; and accuses Jews of plotting to destroy Muslim peoples and societies. Further, Qadhi is an acolyte of Ali al-Timimi, a Virginia-based Imam who is currently serving life in prison for inciting jihad against U.S. troops in Afghanistan.

o   Imam Abdullah Faaruuq, who has occasionally served as a spokesman for ISB's Boston mosque, alleges that the USA Patriot Act permits American authorities to round up and arrest Muslims at will, even without evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

o   Walid Fitaihi, a current ISB trustee, says that Jews are the “rapers of the worshippers of Allah” and should be scourged.

o   Oussama Ziade, a leading financial supporter of ISB's Boston mosque, was indicted in July 2009 for taking cash from al Qaeda fundraiser Yassin Kadi.

ISB made headlines in the spring of 2013, when it was reported that Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Chechen Muslim brothers who detonated a pair of deadly bombs at the Boston Marathon on April 15, had occasionally attended worship services at ISB's Cambridge mosque. In the aftermath of the bombing, ISB advised its members: “If you get contacted by the FBI [in connection with its bombing investigation] ... [y]ou have the right to legal representation. Please contact the ACLU—they have lawyers in the legal department who are present and ready to talk to you.”

Know Your Fifth Columnists – Keith Ellison

Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) has the irony of being both a Leftist and an Islamist fifth columnist.

As a Leftist he would fall into the category of pro-abortion, multicultural tolerance (e.g. tolerant of all religions and atheism), a supporter of Secular Humanism (which is diametrically opposes the Christian moral paradigm, Homosexual Rights and socializing the American system of government.

As an Islamist Ellison supports the purist view of Islam as instrument by the Muslim prophet Mohammed and his immediate followers that developed Islamic Supremacist ideological theology. An Islamist will claim women have rights yet will beat them for spousal disappointment or disobedience, supports sex slaves, supports pedophilic weddings, death to homosexuals, ending secularism in favor of only Islamic Sharia ethics and morality, the only civil rights are those bequeathed to a Muslim under the rules of Sharia, no civil rights for kafir, murder of a the kafir believed to insult the nature of Islam and its prophet Mohammed and so on all in the form of intolerance.

Can I say Ellison espouses the absolute beliefs of a Leftist or an Islamist? Of course I cannot, but I can look at his associations, his public writings and the organizations he supports to draw a decent picture of the Islamist Ellison.

Ellison’s close association with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Muslim Students’ Association (MSA), Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), American Muslim Council (AMC), International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT) and others which all (Check out this MB memo: English translation begins p. 16) have deep roots with the Muslim Brotherhood and many terrorist organizations.

CAIR Watch’s YouTube site has put together a slide show of Ellison being the friend of America’s enemies. These are enemies in the sense that their goal is the replacement of America’s Christian foundation and the termination of America’s Constitution instituting the American experiment of Liberty, the pursuit of happiness and a representative Republic based on the concept all men are created equal.
