No, White-Supremacist Violence Is Not a Major Problem

If you solely listen to the Left Stream Media would sense that White Supremacist violence (in other words violent acts of racism perpetrated by White People) is a problem on the rise globally.

If you surf Social Media it is my sense a fine line is arising between Caucasians weary of White People being blamed for all the ills of non-White People and actual White Supremacists such as Neo-Nazis, Skinheads (UK & USA), KKK, White Nationalists warping the Christian faith and other racists escaping the top of my thought process. The Left too often racks White People weary of being blamed for racist woes with the racist variations inherent in White Supremacism. That is an error that could very well push the weary-of-blame crowd to be supportive with actual White racists.

The Patriot Post article below evokes the weary-of-blame crowd pointing out the obvious statistically; viz., Islamic terrorism far outnumbers violence associated with White Extremism.

No, White-Supremacist Violence Is Not a Major Problem
The New York Times peddles a false narrative that violent white extremism is on the rise.

Apr. 10, 2019

On Tuesday, the House Judiciary Committee held a hearing that Democrats billed as an examination of “hate crimes, the impact white nationalist groups have on American communities, and the spread of white identity ideology.” It quickly became quite evident that the Democrats’ true intention for the hearing was to promote the mendacious narrative that “white extremism” is a major and growing problem — and President Donald Trump is supposedly the driving force behind it.

In a seemingly coordinated effort to advance this narrative, The New York Times last week ran an article claiming that “Attacks by White Extremists Are Growing.” The story highlighted the attack in Christchurch, New Zealand, where a self-proclaimed white supremacist murdered 50 people in an act of terror aimed at Muslims. The article then claimed that the Christchurch murderer “drew inspiration” from “an informal global network of white extremists whose violent attacks are occurring with greater frequency in the West.”

Once again we have a case of the narrative leading the story. It’s clear that the narrative the Times is pushing is that violence perpetrated by white supremacists is a serious and growing threat that is worse than people may believe. But do the facts support such a conclusion? Well, as is often the case with Leftmedia outlets like the Times, not so much.

The Times excluded several important contextualizing details, which immediately calls into question the reliability of the entire narrative. For example, no numbers were provided so as to establish the total number of extremist-related violent incidents globally. In 2017 alone, nearly 20,000 people were murdered by groups associated with radical Islamic extremists — a number not provided by the Times.

Meanwhile, the Times offers a nine-year timeline that notes 15 incidents of “white extremist” violence resulting in 194 people killed that were purportedly committed by individuals motivated by white racism. However, after a closer look into these attacks, one quickly finds that the motive of “white extremism” is not entirely clear … or even there at all.

As Seth Barron, writing for City Journal, observes, “Some of the most prominent killings … resist categorization as acts of white racial terror. Ali Sonboly, the son of Iranian Shi'ite Muslim immigrants and visibly a racial minority, carried out the 2016 Munich mall shooting. The 2016 Umpqua Community College shooting was carried out by a self-identified ‘mixed-race’ man, as was the 2014 Isla Vista massacre, whose perpetrator believed that being half-Chinese made him unattractive to women. The 2018 Toronto van massacre was perpetrated by a white man who declared that he was part of an ‘Incel Rebellion’ against the ‘Chads and Stacys’ of the world — in other words, he was angry that he could not get a girlfriend and was committed to overthrowing the ‘beautiful people.’ The killer mowed down pedestrians in Toronto’s business district at random. The Times’ inclusion of these four incidents calls into question the value of its diagnosis of ‘white extremist killers.’”

Finally, as The Wall Street Journal reports, “Since 1990, far-right extremists have killed 477 people in 214 attacks in the U.S., according to the crime data. A majority of the assaults targeted minorities, with 241 people dying in 170 attacks. (In the same period, the Global Terrorism Database records 31 far-right attacks with one or more deaths.)” In other words, violent attacks committed by “white extremists” are not on the rise — rather, the frequency of these violent hate crimes has remained relatively steady for the past 50 years. In any case, the crimes are dwarfed by attacks perpetrated by Islamofascists.

Staquf States Obvious – Islamic Terrorism is Islamic

Any [fundamentalist] view of Islam positing the traditional norms of Islamic jurisprudence as absolute [should] be rejected out of hand as false. State laws [should] have precedence. - Yahya Cholil Staquf (In Interview, Top Indonesian Muslim Scholar Says Stop Pretending That Orthodox Islam and Violence Aren't Linked; By Marco Stahlhut; Time.com; 9/7/17)

Fellow Community member Viana posted an excerpt of the Yahya Cholil Staquf interview at Time.com (of all the ironic Left Wing MSM places) who is an Islamic scholar from Indonesia. The reason the interview is significant is because the Muslim scholar proclaims the violence perpetrated by Islamic terrorists has EVERYTHING to do with Islam!

Yahya Cholil Staquf is the General Secretary of Nahdlatul Ulama a Sunni Islam organization in Indonesia. Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) may be located in Indonesia, but it is the largest Islamic organization in the world. Here is a Wikipedia excerpt on NU to give you a bit of a backgrounder:

Nahdlatul Ulama (also Nahdatul Ulama or NU) is a traditionalist Sunni Islam movement in Indonesia following the Shafi'i school of jurisprudence.[3] NU was established on January 31, 1926 in Surabaya as a response to the rise of Wahabism in Saudi Arabia and Islamic modernism in Indonesia.[4][5]:59[6] The NU is the largest independent Islamic organization in the world[7] with membership of 40 million in 2003.[1][2]NU also is a charitable body funding schools and hospitals as well as organizing communities to help alleviate poverty.

Nahdlatul Ulama is known as an ardent advocate of Islam Nusantara; a distinctive brand of Islam that has undergone interaction, contextualization, indigenization, interpretation and vernacularization according to socio-cultural condition of Indonesia.
[8]Islam Nusantara promotes moderation, compassion, anti-radicalism, inclusiveness and tolerance.[9]

READ THE REST (Nahdlatul Ulama; Wikipedia; last edited on 9/7/17 03:51)

Take Multicultural Diversity Leftists in America and Europe. When the leader of the largest Islamic organization in the world says Islamic violence is directly related to the tenets of Islam, you should really pay attention!

Now I do find it interesting that Time Mag published an interview that is essentially anti-Multiculturalism and irritating to Muslim Apologists. Loraine County Community College has published a guide on where various publications lean toward politically. Fascinating to me LCCC labels Time as centrist but with a proviso which I do concur:

Time.  Similar in content and format to the two other major U. S. newsmagazines, this periodical covers the news from a centrist point of view. [NOTE: Others label Time liberal or leftist.] (Bold text is Blog Editor’s but the brackets are the proviso by LCCC - Leanings of Magazines, Newspapers; LCCC Library - LibGuides - Detecting Bias; Last Updated 9/7/17 1:21 PM)

Media Bias/Fact Check has this evaluation of Time:

Notes: Time is an American weekly news magazine published in New York City. It was founded in 1923.  Time has the world’s largest circulation for a weekly news magazine. Time Magazine is factual in reporting and well sourced.  Has a left-center bias in story selection. (5/18/2016) Updated (1/12/2017) (Time Magazine; Media Bias/Fact Check)

Yes friends, if the word “Left” is there, there is a promotion of the evil of Multiculturalism. This is the reason I consider it incredulous that Time.com has such a counter-Multiculturalist interview.

Below is Viana’s excerpt of the Time.com interview of Yahya Cholil Staquf. But if you get a chance you should read the entire article at Time.com.

Appropriate on this, the 16th anniversary of 9/11. More and more Muslim leaders are making this admission. Indonesia is the world’s most populous Islamic nation. -Viana

Yahya Cholil Staquf states: “Western politicians should stop pretending that extremism and terrorism have nothing to do with Islam. There is a clear relationship between fundamentalism, terrorism, and the basic assumptions of Islamic orthodoxy. So long as we lack consensus regarding this matter, we cannot gain victory over fundamentalist violence within Islam. Within the classical tradition, the relationship between Muslims and non-Muslims is assumed to be one of segregation and enmity. To the extent that Muslims adhere to this view of Islam, it renders them incapable of living harmoniously and peacefully within the multi-cultural, multi-religious societies of the 21st century. we live in a world of nation-states. Any attempt to create a unified Islamic state in the 21st century can only lead to chaos and violence.

Any [fundamentalist] view of Islam positing the traditional norms of Islamic jurisprudence as absolute [should] be rejected out of hand as false. State laws [should] have precedence.

Too many Muslims view civilization, and the peaceful co-existence of people of different faiths, as something they must combat. There’s a growing dissatisfaction in the West with respect to Muslim minorities, a growing fear of Islam. In this sense, some Western friends of mine are “Islamophobic.” They’re afraid of Islam. I understand their fear

The West cannot force Muslims to adopt a moderate interpretation of Islam. Western politicians should stop telling us that fundamentalism and violence have nothing to do with traditional Islam. That is simply wrong.

Europe, and Germany in particular, are accepting massive numbers of refugees. Don’t misunderstand me: of course you cannot close your eyes to those in need. the fact remains that you’re taking in millions of refugees about whom you know virtually nothing, except that they come from extremely problematic regions of the world. there's an extreme left wing whose adherents reflexively denounce any and all talk about the connections between traditional Islam, fundamentalism and violence as _de facto_ proof of Islamophobia. This must end. A problem that is not acknowledged cannot be solved.

Obama’s Gone – Learn About Stealth Jihad

John R. Houk
© January 5, 2017

President Barack Hussein Obama has gone to great lengths to lie to Americans about the dangers of Islam. He has even invited Islamists that wholly believe in bloody Jihad into the White House. On January 20th, HE IS GONE! Let us pray Trump’s America exposes the agenda of Islam in America.

Most Americans by now there are numerous followers of Islam – globally – that use Muhammad’s call of violent Jihad for Islam to dominate every single person on earth. I am a Counterjihadist that understands via the Muslim revered writings of the Quran (and HERE), Hadith and Sira (which encompasses the Sunnah) call for global Islamic domination to the glory of Allah and his pseudo-prophet Muhammad.

Here’s something you may or may not heard of pertaining to Islam: a Muslim apologist propagandizing to the tune of “Islam is Peace” will tell you there is a Greater Jihad and a Lesser Jihad. One Jihad is to wage war for Allah and prophet to spread the ummah (community) worldwide. The other Jihad is an inner struggle to be a good Muslim in the light of the Quran.

The Muslim apologist will tell you the Greater Jihad is the inner struggle to be a better Muslim and the Lesser Jihad is violence for Allah and prophet.

From the Muslim revered writings I have read, the Greater and Lesser distinction is poppycock invented for Muslims wanting to wake up in the 21st century rather than the 7th. And Western non-Muslims trained in the Western developed concept of Religious Liberty.

If a majority of observant Muslims would take a reform stand and publicly deny the obligations of the Quran, Hadith and Sira by making the Inner Struggle (cough – Greater Jihad) the principle of Islam, then I would buy into the Muslim Apologist claim of Islam is Peace. To an Inner Struggle Jihad as principle would go against Islam’s perfect example to be followed and imitated – the warmongering, booty-raiding, merchandiser of slavery and sex-slavery – MUHAMMAD.

Now that I have made my feelings clear about the practice of Jihad in Islam. I found a very educational post on The Realistic Observer. Dee Fatouros has posted what she calls a “compendium of links” on the subject of Stealth Jihad.

The term “stealth jihad” is a bit misleading.  The stealth jihad groups may be stealthy, but they don’t operate underground.  They have offices, spokesmen, PR people, legal teams, and impressive websites.  They present themselves as moderate mainstream groups, and for the most part the media and administration officials accept them as such.

How do they operate?  In general, they advertise themselves as civil rights advocates working to protect the rights of the “Muslim community.”  Using the cover of civil rights activism, the stealth jihadists have been able to score some spectacular successes. Pertinent Information Regarding Stealth Jihad

Posted by Dee Fatouros
January 4, 2017 7:29:00 PM

This post is more or less a compendium of links and excerpts detailing the entire subject of stealth Jihad and its progress in the U.S.

Unlike the violent attacks of the militant Islamists, stealth jihad is just that, a stealthy penetration of all of our social institutions.

Under the aegis of the present administration, not only has this been allowed, but encouraged and protected. Those who are concerned are, sigh, labeled Islamophobes. No discussion/disagreement allowed. Of course the Soros controlled MSM leads the way on this road of suicidal denial.

There is a great deal of information from the sites below which the MSM has deliberately [sic] failed to convey.

Terrorist attacks that involve bombings and shootings are just one component of the jihad, or holy war, that Islamists are actively waging against infidels all over the world. Another component of that jihad consists of nonviolent initiatives which can be classified as stealth (or "soft”) jihad, whose goal is the imposition of Islamic law, Sharia, over every region of the earth by non-confrontational means. Under the banners of "tolerance" and "civil rights," stealth jihadists introduce, in piecemeal fashion, elements of Sharia into Western societies and then demand that non-Muslims make allowance for those elements. Moreover, stealth jihadists smear those who dare to discuss the negative aspects of Sharia (and Islam) as "racists" and "Islamophobes."  continue

Some examples of how stealth jihad has made inroads into U.S. and Western culture include the following:

The term “stealth jihad” is a bit misleading. The stealth jihad groups may be stealthy, but they don’t operate underground. They have offices, spokesmen, PR people, legal teams, and impressive websites. They present themselves as moderate mainstream groups, and for the most part the media and administration officials accept them as such.

How do they operate? In general, they advertise themselves as civil rights advocates working to protect the rights of the “Muslim community.” Using the cover of civil rights activism, the stealth jihadists have been able to score some spectacular successes. In 2012, for example, more than 1,000 documents and presentations were purged from counterterror training programs for the FBI and other security agencies. This was done in response to pressure from Islamic advocacy groups who complained that the training policies were biased and offensive to Muslims. In effect, these Muslim Brotherhood-linked groups were given veto power over national security policy, and, as a result, investigative agencies were forced to limit themselves to politically correct policing.

America’s commitment to the dogma of political correctness is, in fact, the chief factor that accounts for the success of stealth jihad. The stealth jihadists are well-versed in the rules of political correctness, and they know how to use them to their own advantage. And if they can bend the federal government to their will by using these methods, they can certainly do the same to average citizens. continue

“They use violent jihad, but they also use civilization jihad, which is a long-term form of sort of cultural jihad, so to speak, in which they infiltrate a country, a government from within use the liberal immigration laws to their advantage and have their people not assimilate into the culture, but live in enclaves and sort of stick to themselves until they get enough numbers, until they build up their numbers, and then we see more violent jihad unfold at that point,” Hohmann explained to Elder.

Hohmann, author of the forthcoming book “Stealth Invasion: Muslim Conquest Through Immigration and the Resettlement Jihad,” said the Obama administration has facilitated civilization jihad by importing tens of thousands of Muslim refugees from the Middle East and North Africa. And he doesn’t believe there’s anything he could say to Obama that would convince the president to change his refugee policy.

“He’s going right down to the bitter end with pummeling our cities and towns with more and more refugees,” Hohmann noted. “They’re trying to get in as many as possible before he leaves office to the point where they’re even running out of money now, I hear, at the Office of Refugee Resettlement.”

To Hohmann, it looks like Obama has accomplished exactly what he set out to do.

Said the author: “I don’t know what I could tell President Obama other than, ‘A job well done! If your goal was to destroy America, to degrade America, to bring our cities down a notch and saddle them with a heavy burden, you’ve done a good job.'” continue

Many would not agree with my statement that Islamic radicalization is a hidden and still an ignored phenomenon especially in the West.

This is especially true as these terrorists are adapting newer and newer techniques and ways to influence and hence pollute the upcoming young minds.

The West has made a grievous mistake by allowing these Islamic extremists to settle, grow and even prosper on its soil in the name of human rights, and freedom of speech and liberty.

Most of the focus has been on the mosques and other religious gathering places, but that is not the whole side of the story. Living in Europe for only six months until now, I see many types of Islamic radicalization growing in new, systematic and subtle ways, unheard of via newspapers. continue

One of the objectives of Islamic State’s “attack and polarize” strategy in France is to hit the economy, an objective that was successfully attained in the aftermath of the November 2015 and January 2016 attacks, which were immediately followed by a slump in retail sales and tourism.

Throughout 2016, hotels in Paris were offering discounts of up to 65% on room rates to attract tourists who began to shun the city in the wake of the jihadist operations.

Another economic cost is the massive increase in expenditure on intelligence, law enforcement and security. In 2016 the DGSI, the domestic intelligence service, increased its staff by 35% from 3,500 to over 4,700. Law enforcement officers, who have accumulated millions of hours in overtime, have to be paid.

Three days after the November 13 attacks, the government announced that it would recruit an additional 5,000 police officers. Tens of millions have been allocated to deradicalization programs, reorganization of prisons and other initiatives aimed at countering jihad at home. continue

We have now moved from stealth to overt Jihad.

The attacks upon individual citizens, gathered groups, and our Churches are increasing.

Let us hope that the incoming administration will call things as they are and take steps to protects America. That IS the job of the President Of The United States Of America!

Silencing the Dissent

Minorities are still being persecuted in Sunni Islam-dominated Pakistan. This is especially the case for Pakistan’s Christian minority. Adding to the repression is a process of silencing online social media.

Silencing the Dissent

By Shamim Mahmoud
Sent 8/8/2016 5:32 PM

Pakistani minorities under the leadership of Federal Minister for Human Rights, Kamran Michael are planning to celebrate Minorities’ Day on August 11. The Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) former government had declared August 11 as minorities’ day; however, some minority groups chose to observe August 11 as black day to register their protest over the abuse of minority rights. Following the footsteps of the PPP government the present PML-N government has also announced to dedicate August 11 as minorities day.

On August 11, 1947, the founder of the nation Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah had announced the freedom for the minorities living in new born Pakistan. But it is very unfortunate that after sixty-nine years, Pakistan is ranked sixth on the list of the countries where Christians are most persecuted, according to the World Watch List 2016.

The survey conducted by Open Doors, an organization working to help persecuted Christians and churches worldwide, highlights the top 50 countries where it is most difficult to live as Christians. The report found that Pakistan’s blasphemy laws continue to be abused to settle personal scores, particularly against minorities, including Christians. A Christian couple was thrown into the brick kiln where they worked and burned to death after being accused of blasphemy, orphaning their four children. Two churches in Lahore were bombed, killing 25 people and wounding dozens. An estimated 700 Christian girls and women are abducted every year and often then raped and forcibly married to Muslims,” the report added.

The list ranks North Korea as the most oppressive place in the world to live as a Christian. It adds that in 2015, the persecution grew most rapidly in Sub-Saharan Africa, while in the Middle East Islamic States and Pakistan violence increased the migration of the Christian population from the region. The index measures the degrees of freedom that Christians have to express their faith in six spheres- private, family, community, national and church life, while also measuring levels of violence.

The European Parliament Intergroup on Freedom of Religion or Belief and Religious Tolerance has released its annual report for 2015 and showed serious concerns over the minorities’ situation in Pakistan, especially the issues pertaining to the country’s blasphemy laws. Giving reference of the assassinated Punjab governor Salman Taseer and Shahbaz Bhatti for raising their voices against the blasphemy laws in Pakistan, especially in the Asia Bibi case. The report expressed that although the Supreme Court of Pakistan in a positive development has expressed its concerns about widespread misuse of blasphemy laws and issued a detailed judgment warning against false blasphemy accusations and stating that in Islam a false accusation can be as serious as blasphemy itself, but unfortunately, criticizing the reforms to blasphemy laws in public was still dangerous in any Pakistan society. The report further stated that terrorist groups like Taliban have continued to severely persecute religious minorities, especially the Christian community, considering it an agent of the West and in revenge of the western intervention such as US drone strikes in Pakistan areas. The report also gave the reference of blasts and firing in churches in Youhanabad and Iqbal Park on the eve of Easter celebrations.

Earlier hundreds of the Christians houses in Gojra and Joseph Colony, Lahore were set ablaze. And twin blasts in Peshawar Church killed at least 80 and hundred were injured.

Where is Quaid’s Pakistan?

The report further disclosed that due to religious persecution, around 11,000 Christians are seeking asylum in Thailand. A Hindu parliamentarian claimed that 5000 Hindus emigrate from Pakistan every year due to discriminatory treatment, forced conversions and fears of their safety. The report stated that in the months of April and May 2016, it was also reported that as many as 18 Christians’ girls were kidnapped and forcefully converted in the Punjab province alone.

Due to the religious persecution thousands of Christian families are looking for their future in Thailand. It is pertinent to mention that European countries do not encourage Pakistani Christian visitors. Even these countries adopt stricter policy when find the applicant from the same faith. Most recently World Youth Day 2016” was held in Poland and reportedly there were more than six thousands of applicants but the Poland embassy rejected a maximum amount of visa applications on frivolous grounds and granted only 400 – 500 visas to Pakistani Christians. The weird part of the story is that journalists’ visa applications were denied without any cogent reasons.  The officials in EU countries on the condition of anonymity said the visa officers had orders from the “higher level” to reject the maximum number of visas from the Christians background. It means, poor Pakistani Christians face the same behavior from the either side.

Cyber Crime Bill 2015

The Cyber Crime Bill 2015, tabled by the Minister of State for IT aims at regulating the online conduct of individuals/organizations. The Bill passed by the Senate now awaits final approval by the NA [National Assembly] before the president enacts it into law. The controversial Bill has been criticized by the IT industry and civil society for curbing human rights and giving enormous power to law enforcement agencies. It certainly intended to leash in the power of social media, given its increasingly transformational role in shaping public opinion and holding rulers accountable. No doubt, it aims silencing the dissent.

Bad News, Good News, and a Common Blind Spot

Let me ask a question: When you think of a person who is a Nazi do you also think that person is a follower of the ideology of Nazism? Both person and ideology are thought of as evil, right?

Hmm… So why is a Muslim divided into moderate-good and radical-evil Islamic ideology when both the moderate and the radical both believe the Quran is the uncreated word of Allah? Or why do present day multiculturalists brainwash students and listeners that Islamic history during Muhammad’s life and the next thousand years or so are taught that this time period is the golden age of Islam? Keep in mind I ask about this golden age fallacy because one can account for about “270 million killed by jihad”.

Elsa Schieder addresses the hypocritical paradox about personhood and ideology.

Bad News, Good News, and a Common Blind Spot

January 30, 2016 2:37 PM

Today, bad news, good news, and a way that most people - even those very aware of the threat of Islam - are asleep.

Bad news.
In Israel, the stabbings of Jews by Islamics continue. A mother was murdered in front of her children. In Canada, a man named Mohammed entered a Calgary nightclub with a gun and started firing. There was only one injury - bouncers tackled the man, subdued him. In Paris, a man with 2 guns, ammo and a Quran was caught in Disney Land. A 22-year-old Swedish woman, daughter of Christian refugees from Lebanon, was murdered by an Islamic so-called refugee at a refugee center for unaccompanied minors. (The supposed minor was over 6' tall.) Another story from Sweden: a 15-year-old Lithuanian student was murdered by an Islamic student after the Lithuanian student protected a non-Islamic female student from sexual harassment. In Berlin, a German-born Iranian Muslim man murdered a 20-year-old German woman by pushing her into the path of an oncoming subway train. I could go on and on.

I hear so many stories, and grieve for the lives lost.

Good news. There's a new Fortress Europe coalition. It's planning to hold mass demonstrations across Europe on February 6. And in the United Stated, a presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has declared that, if elected, he will stop all Islamic immigration until the jihad threat has been eliminated.

Will enough people wake up in time to save the West? My inner answer: yes. At what cost? We will see. I remember a film that gripped me when I was a child: High Noon. It feels like high noon, right now.

And now I want to pay attention to a way that most people are asleep.

It should be obvious: Christians are to Christianity, what Muslims are to Islam, what Nazis are to Nazism. But just try and see - maybe even on yourself - and you'll almost certainly experience very different responses to the 3 things. I can certainly feel this in myself. My intrained [sic] kneejerk response re Muslims and Islam: of course one can't generalize about Muslims, Muslims are people, Islam is an ideology. My kneejerk response re Nazis is utterly different: within myself, I tar them all with the same brush - bad, evil, Jew-killers. As for Christians, it's also automatic: I don't feel any need to say, of course not all Christians are like this or that.

I did a mini-experiment with a few people when they spouted the usual line ("We must be careful not to negatively stereotype Muslims"). I agreed vehemently, that it's important to distinguish between Muslims (people) and Islam (ideology) - just as we need to make a distinction between Nazis (people) and Nazism (ideology). The people were stunned. Spluttering. Silence. What??

What's good for the goose is good for the gander, I have heard. Instead I could feel a powerful double standard, which these people - and most Western people, I suspect - hold, without awareness.

The biggest thing: Muslims are radically disconnected from any of the nasty ideology found in the supposedly perfect Quran. On the other hand, Nazis are 100% connected to The Final Solution (the plan to murder all Jews) - though The Final Solution is NOT in Hitler's Mein Kampf, in fact was not developed until 1942, the middle of World War II. Yet in World War II, there were no cell phones, no instant videos instantly uploaded, no selfies of SS guards herding Jews into the gas chambers. There was no Twitter, no Facebook, no internet. There was even no mention in the news - for the most part, outside as well as inside Germany - of the concentration camps. Not a single train track leading to the concentration camps was ever bombed.

Now there is a wealth of information on Islamic ideology, plus there are scores of graphic videos of Islamics quoting the Quran while committing atrocities. No one can say that Muslims have no access to knowledge of Islamic ideology that includes Jew hatred, belief in Islamic superiority, and worldwide Sharia, and an Islamic caliphate. In fact, there is massive evidence that millions of Muslims adhere to this ideology. About three-quarters of a billion Muslims (about 50%), according to some recent statistics, want worldwide Sharia.

So what is going, that now, with all this information readily available, Muslims are "anti-demonized", disconnected from Islamic ideology?

Just ask yourself:

- Why it isn't even suggested that we need to distinguish between Nazis (people) and Nazism (Nazi ideology as laid out in Mein Kampf)?

- Much more important, why is it drilled into us (correctly) that we need to distinguish between Muslims (people) and Islam (Islamic ideology as laid out in the Quran)?

- But why it isn't drilled into us that we must educate ourselves as well as Muslims - or that Muslims are responsible for educating themselves - on Islamic ideology, so we all know the ideology Muslims are associating themselves with?

To me, it doesn't make any logical sense to demonize all adherents of one of these ideologies (Nazism), while treating adherents of the other (Islam) with kid gloves - "one must not generalize about Muslims."

We know the answers to these questions, actually. Islam is powerful. So are the politically correct. Nazis are not. It's easy to demonize those out of power.

Now for something else, something that shocked me, and made me do a lot more thinking about Nazis and Nazism.

It's something I came across accidentally online. I had to look twice to believe what I was seeing. I was so shocked I didn't even mention it to anyone for a week. I was looking for Silent Night, in the original German. I found a lovely sing-along version by Nana Mouskouri. Then, in one of those automatic changes, right after Nana Mouskouri finished, on came a German version of White Christmas. Nothing strange about that - except that it included photos of Hitler. Sweetly ring the bells Christmas

As I said, I had to look twice to believe what I was seeing. Hitler at Christmas.

Then I clicked off the video.

VIDEO: Weiße Weihnacht (White Christmas) German - Sing Along

Uploaded on Dec 20, 2007

This is White Christmas in German Sung by the boy choir Toelzer Knabenchor.
This music video is a continuation to last year's Christmas video of Stille Nacht (Silent Night) which I did. I've included subtitles if you want to sing along also with a few pics and video clips from Germany during Christmas between the late 1930's till the early 1940's. Enjoy!

A week later I went looking for the video. It was easy to find. Once again, it came on automatically after Nana and her sweet sing-along. This time I made myself watch closely, quietly.

I could understand the images of German housewives, little German children, German soldiers.

And there is only one wish

May there be peace on earth forever. Wonderful words.

All that existed - people, not some strange monsters, celebrating Christmas.

I could feel the humanity of the young soldiers who went to war - like my 2 oldest uncles, 18, 19, both killed on the Russian front when my father was a boy.

Gone are worry and pain

The celebration of love is now here.

But, as I've said, I was stopped cold at the photos of Hitler.

And I was stunned that this video played automatically. What was going on here?

One good thing. Most of us - including myself - are at pains to make the distinction between Muslims and Islam. Muslims are people - lots of different attitudes and viewpoints - while Islam is an ideology.

The video got me to recognize, on a gut level, how differently I have been trained to respond to Nazis and Nazism, than to Muslims and Islam.

So, one thing positive, for me, about the images of German citizens celebrating Christmas during World War II is that the people were not demonized.

Sweetly ring the bells Christmas

One thing horrific is that Hitler was in there.

That crossed my inner line so much that I did what I tend to do when something is too much. I pushed the video out of my mind for a few days. I "numbed out." But now I've done what I generally do next: I've thought about it more, and I'm writing to you about it.

I wonder: how many people, like me, react with shock when they see the video? How many don't think about it at all? And how many are glad of the positive images of Hitler?

By the way, I had another experience of the way that Islam is let off the hook when I recently attended a presentation on the rise of anti-Semitism in Europe. The presenter had many statistics - including that 91% of Muslims surveyed in (I think) Morocco were anti-Semitic. However, even when repeatedly pressed, he refused to make any link between the rise of anti-Semitism, the growing Islamic presence in Europe, and the anti-Semitism inherent in the Quran. Instead there were dismissive comments: basically, the Quran was deemed irrelevant. It was as if I were faced with someone truly closed to considering that there could be a connection between lung cancer and smoking.

And now, to all of us who care and dare, to life and to love,

Elsa

PPS. Strange what shocks us. I don't watch videos of beheadings. But I've heard of them so often that I'm not shocked that they exist and that millions have watched. On the other hand, Nazis not demonized!! That shocks me!!

PPPS. The next update will likely only come in 2 weeks.

PPPPS. More images from the video.

May there be peace on earth forever

Merry Christmas

ELSA, TRUTH SLEUTH:
MY JOURNEY INTO ISLAM

It could be about, how I came to find the wonder of Islam.
The words that come into my mind: The Heart of Darkness, the title of a novel by Joseph Conrad.

What I mean is that I found so many things I did not expect, so many things I could not admire. I would have loved to find a religion of peace. I did not. I feel as if I slowly stepped into a cave, slowly found lights, and had to recoil from what I found.

In one corner, the corpses of 600-900 dead Jews, murdered by Mohammed. The story isn't one I found in early versions of his story that I came across. But it's right there, hinted at in the Qu'ran, and spelled out in detail in the Sira and Hadiths (very revered Islamic religious texts). The story is right there.

But I didn't find the story until late in my exploration, when I already had a good idea of what kinds of things I'd be coming across.

The early explorations were much more tentative.

After all, I was told Islam was a religion of peace. But something did not make sense.

It was a bit like being a detective - Nancy Drew, say - young and innocent and very Western. Why was there this feeling of danger when I was tiptoeing into finding out about a religion of peace? The cave felt damp, and at the same time dusty. It felt that much lurked, that did not want me tiptoeing around, just wanting to look and see. But why should this be, if this was truly a religion of peace? After all, all I READ THE REST
