ANOTHER Look at Ilhan Omar Family Corruption

Rep. Ilhan Omar is a Dem from Minnesota dedicated to the Marxist (RED) – Islamic (GREEN) alliance that is anti-American and anti-Christian. She immigrated to the USA probably under fraudulent methods which probably included an incestuous marriage to her brother to perpetuate family immigration fraud. Unsurprisingly, Omar denies the incestuous marriage. YOU can read some of those unearthed details that Dems and rogue Courts have been trying to cover up for years from this blog post 2/23/20 entitled, “Initial Thoughts to ‘Somali Leader Confirms: Ilhan Omar Married Brother’”.
Thanks to a Gateway Pundit post, details are emerging Omar’s Somali family (particularly her father) are associated with Somali war crimes in the not well publicized Genocide of Isaaq People in what is today Republic of Somaliland which broke away from Federal Republic of Somalia in circa 1991.
Evidently, the Muslim Isaac People did not take kindly to being ruled by Mohamed Siad Barre dictatorial rule merged the brutality of Marxism and Islam from 1969 – 1991 after which he died in exile.
The Gateway Pundit digs up the family culpability of the Isaaq Genocide. The Republic of Somaliland provides the brief general reasoning why Barre decided to exterminate the Isaaq people which includes a 26-Minute Documentary from 2016 entitled, “WATCH THE MINI-DOCUMENTARY ABOUT SOMALILAND'S FORGOTTEN GENOCIDE”. HERE is the text portion of the post:
“Somaliland was a sovereign state before it was ever part of Somalia. On 26 June 1960 it won its independence from Britain as the State of Somaliland and was recognized by more than thirty governments, including all five permanent members of the UN Security Council. Five days later it entered a voluntary union with the former Italian Somaliland to create the Somali Republic — a union that was never lawfully completed. The two territories signed separate and conflicting acts of union, and the Act of Union was never properly ratified by both legislatures. When the people of the State of Somaliland were asked to approve the new constitution in a 1961 referendum, they overwhelmingly rejected it.
Within a generation, the state Somaliland had trusted turned its air force on its own cities.
Between 1987 and 1989, the dictatorship of Siad Barre set out to destroy the Isaaq, the largest of the peoples of the State of Somaliland. Because Somalilanders had begun to argue that their country should reclaim the independence it once held, Barre treated an entire nation as a military target. Hargeisa and Burao were bombed into ruins by pilots taking off from Hargeisa's own airport. An estimated 200,000 people were killed, men, women and children alike, and hundreds of thousands more were driven across the border into Ethiopia. A 2001 United Nations investigation concluded that the crime of genocide had been committed against the Isaaq. Researchers have now identified over 200 mass graves across Somaliland, the largest concentration in the area known as the Valley of Death.
Nearly four decades later, not one perpetrator has been held to account. There has been no apology, no internationally supported truth and reconciliation commission, and no criminal trial. Somaliland, unrecognized and largely cut off from international funding, lacks the resources to exhume the graves, let alone prosecute the men responsible. Some of those men still hold office in Mogadishu or remain close to those who do.”

Ilhan Omar’s Father Was a Colonel Loyal to Brutal Somali Dictator, Served as Senior Officer During Genocide of Isaaq People – Then ‘Misrepresented Himself as a Refugee’

We now know why Ilhan Omar and her family lied on immigration forms and changed their name when they entered the United States.
Between 1981 and 1991, the Somali military in which Colonel Nur Omar Mohamed, Ilhan Omar’s father served as a senior officer, executed a brutal and systematic campaign of genocide targeting the Isaaq people of the modern day Republic of Somaliland.
This was first reported back in July 2025 at the Somaliland Chronicle in July 2025 but received little attention.
The Somaliland Chronicle reported:
This dark chapter in Africa’s history, which was known as the Isaaq Genocide, was a merciless military campaign that resulted in the killing of over 200,000 Isaaq civilians. It also involved widespread forced displacement, scorched‑earth destruction of the second and third largest cities (Hargeisa and Burao), aerial bombardment of almost every other single city, town and village in Somaliland, and two decades of large‑scale red-terror style tactics against the civilian population of Somaliland…
…At the heart of this brutal military regime was Colonel Nur Omar Mohamed, Ilhan Omar’s father. His rank, authority, membership of the regime Daarood clan, and 10+ years of having climbed the hierarchy in Somalia military to the rank of Colonel, placed him squarely in the Somali military’s command hierarchy during and at the height of its Isaaq genocide campaign. Based on his position, loyalty to the regime, and his role in the military, it is virtually certain that he had intimate knowledge of and involvement in the planning, conception, direction and execution of the genocide.
Today the children of former Somali dictator Mohamed Siad Barre, whose brutal regime has been linked to the deaths of as many as 200,000 people, are reportedly living quiet suburban lives in Columbus, Ohio.
According to an investigation by the New York Post, Barre’s son, Ayanle Mohamed Siad, and daughter, Deka Mohamed Siad, settled in the United States after their father was overthrown in 1991. Ilhan Omar’s father was a colonel in his regime.

Previous ponderings about the life of Omar’s father in communist Somalia have earned the ire of self-described “fact-checkers” like the people at Snopes, who criticized those drawing connections between Nur Omar Mohamed and Barre’s dictatorship in 2019. Since then, however, new facts (chiefly the account Faraton gave to Sahan Journal) have emerged, strengthening this connection.
The Gateway Pundit has repeatedly documented how poorly vetted Somali networks from the same clan-and-regime ecosystem have exploited American welfare and healthcare systems.
We previously reported that Rep. Ilhan Omar’s father, Nur Said Elmi Mohamed, served as a high-ranking official under the same Barre regime before changing names and entering the United States. Omar’s family story and her district’s massive Feeding Our Future and daycare scandals are part of the same pattern of failed refugee vetting and clan patronage transplanted onto U.S. soil.

Far Left Communist Minnesota Representative Ilhan Omar’s father and other Somalian war crimes perpetrators are currently living illegally in the United States.
The Gateway Pundit has obtained information that is damning for Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar.
Omar’s father, Nur Omar Mohamed (aka Nur Said Elmi Mohamed), is connected to the former dictator in Somalia, Said Barre. Nur and other former Barre accomplices are living in the US illegally.

Omar’s father Mohamed, is living in the US. He and other Somalians like Yusuf Abdi Ali, who killed thousands for Barre, escaped to the West and were not vetted properly before entering the country. Barre was a dictator and was connected to Cuban dictator Fidel Castro as well as other dictators around the globe.

Ali is a convicted war criminal who did the killing himself. Ali has been located in the US working as security at Dulles International Airport and driving for Uber in 2019. He reportedly lived at one time in Alexandria, Virginia. Ali was a Colonel in the Somalian Army’s 5th Mechanized Brigade in 1987 and was a graduate of the Pentagon’s Program for Foreign Officers in 1986. He’s also a war criminal in response to his actions in Somalia.

Nur, Representative Omar’s father, appears to have been a party propagandist under the dictator and was responsible for ‘ideological’ aspects of the Red-Green revolution. (He worked for the Marxist/Stalinist regime under dictator Barre as a teacher of teachers.) This could have included providing the ideological/political justification for the massacres of the late eighties.
It is not a secret that Ilhan Omar’s father illegally entered the United States.
The Nur family was well connected in the country led by the Marxist regime. Young Omar went to kindergarten at age four, their family lived in a secure compound in Mogadishu. When the regime was overtaken, the family caught a plane to escape the country. The average GDP per capita in Somalia was only $187 dollars in 2010 twenty years after they fled the country when the regime fell. Obviously, Nur’s family was a privileged family.

According to a 2016 article on Omar, when the Marxist regime was being overtaken the secure compound that the family lived in was under attack by 20 armed men, somehow the family escaped. It is not clear how. Either the family had superior armed guards within their compound or they bribed the attackers and sent them on their way (or the story is a complete fabrication).

Both Ali and Nur escaped Somalia after the fall of Barre. Because they were no longer safe there and would have been put on trial and shot if caught, they exited the country. Both ended up in the US and both hid the fact that they worked for a totalitarian regime. Both lied on their Form N-400, Application for Naturalization about their communist background. (They had to or they wouldn’t be here.)

The Immigration and Nationality Act (I.N.A.) contains a prohibition on naturalization for anyone involved, within the last ten years, with a group that advocates or teaches opposition to all organized government; or involved with the Communist Party or any other totalitarian party of the U.S. or any foreign state; or who advocates world communism or totalitarian dictatorship even without formal group membership. (See I.N.A. Section 313).”
Both Nur and Yusuf should be disqualified from permanent US residency and a revocation of their US citizenship should take place.
Representative Omar reportedly lied after she married her brother in order to assist him in obtaining US citizenship.
This would obviously disqualify Omar and her brother from legal citizenship.
It looks like illegal citizenship is all in the family for Omar and her family. Like father, like daughter (like son).
