Clinton Cash is a
book by Peter Schweizer that
exposes the Clinton family’s nefarious money past which includes donations to
the Clinton Foundation from foreign donors for political influence while
Secretary of State and a potential future of POTUS Hillary.
Clinton Cash has
its own website devoted to sales and news stories related to
Clinton Cash scandals and nefarious deals. Here is an intro excerpt from that
webpage:
In 2000, Bill and Hillary Clinton
owed millions of dollars in legal debt. Since then, they’ve earned over $130
million. Where did the money come from?
n his New York Times bestselling
books Extortion and Throw Them All Out, Schweizer
detailed patterns of official corruption in Washington that led to
congressional resignations and new ethics laws.
In Clinton Cash, he
follows the Clinton money trail, revealing the connection between their
personal fortune, their “close personal friends”, the Clinton Foundation,
foreign nations, and some of the highest ranks of government.
In order to help in spreading the word about Crooked Hillary
and hubby Slick Willy purchase the book. Below is the
little over an hour documentary of Clinton Cash.
Clinton Cash, is a feature documentary based on the Peter Schweizer book that
the New York Times hailed as “The most anticipated and feared book of a
presidential cycle.”
Clinton Cash investigates how Bill and Hillary Clinton went from being “dead
broke” after leaving the White House to amassing a net worth of over $150
million, with over $2 billion in donations to their foundation. This wealth was
accumulated during Mrs. Clinton’s tenure as US Secretary of State through
lucrative speaking fees and contracts paid for by foreign companies and Clinton
Foundation donors.

we believe that America is and always will be the best nation on Earth. However
it is in danger, our economy is weak, our infrastructure is crumbling, our

"Now let's set the record straight. There's no argument over the choice
between peace and war, but there's only one guaranteed way you can have
peace—and you can have it in the next second—surrender.
Admittedly, there's a risk in any course we follow other than this, but every
lesson of history tells us that the greater risk lies in appeasement, and this
is the specter our well-meaning liberal friends refuse to face—that their
policy of accommodation is appeasement, and it gives no choice between peace
and war, only between fight or surrender. If we continue to accommodate,
continue to back and retreat, eventually we have to face the final demand—the
ultimatum. And what then—when Nikita Khrushchev has told his people he knows
what our answer will be? He has told them that we're retreating under the
pressure of the Cold War, and someday when the time comes to deliver the final
ultimatum, our surrender will be voluntary, because by that time we will have
been weakened from within spiritually, morally, and economically. He believes
this because from our side he's heard voices pleading for "peace at any
price" or "better Red than dead," or as one commentator put it,
he'd rather "live on his knees than die on his feet." And therein
lies the road to war, because those voices don't speak for the rest of us.
You and I know and do not believe that life is so dear and peace so sweet as to
be purchased at the price of chains and slavery. If nothing in life is worth
dying for, when did this begin—just in the face of this enemy? Or should Moses
have told the children of Israel to live in slavery under the pharaohs? Should
Christ have refused the cross? Should the patriots at Concord Bridge have
thrown down their guns and refused to fire the shot heard 'round the world? The
martyrs of history were not fools, and our honored dead who gave their lives to
stop the advance of the Nazis didn't die in vain. Where, then, is the road to
peace? Well it's a simple answer after all.
You and I have the courage to say to our enemies, "There is a price we
will not pay." "There is a point beyond which they must not
advance." Winston Churchill said, "The destiny of man is not measured
by material computations. When great forces are on the move in the world, we
learn we're spirits—not animals." And he said, "There's something
going on in time and space, and beyond time and space, which, whether we like
it or not, spells duty."
You and I have a rendezvous with destiny.
We'll preserve for our children this, the last best hope of man on earth, or
we'll sentence them to take the last step into a thousand years of
darkness.

(February 6, 1911 -- June 5, 2004) ☆★☆
Here is a post that I pray provokes the sting of reality to
Conservatives that are taking the Never
Trump stand. If you enjoyed the last 7 ½ years Obama’s Leftist fundamental transformation
of America, by all means write-in your favorite Conservative, vote for a Third
Party or don’t vote at all. Following the Never
Trump path will ensure the election of Obama’s third term vicariously
through Crooked Hillary.
Honestly answering Mark Alexander’s check list of “Who is more likely to…”, should shake a Never Trumper out of their righteous
indignation and principled hubris over Donald Trump’s perceived lack of
integrity and at least give him a shot to keep at least some of his promises.
If the Donald screws up, how bad could it be compared to the
continued dilution of America’s moral fiber and divested Liberty with another
four to eight years of a Leftist POTUS?
“In the midst of these pleasing
ideas we should be unfaithful to ourselves if we should ever lose sight of the
danger to our liberties if anything partial or extraneous should infect the
purity of our free, fair, virtuous, and independent elections.” —John Adams
(1797)
(Aggravation Alert: I have received a considerable number of
objections from fellow Patriots this year complaining either that my analysis
of Donald Trump was too hard or too soft. This column is directed at those who
believe either one to be true — the #NeverClinton and #NeverTrump
folks who plan to abstain or vote for a third-party candidate.)
On the opening night, Bernie Sanders,
the candidate who was narrowly defeated by Clinton thanks to hacked DNC emails indicating they rigged
the primary, offered this assessment of the last eight years:
“Together, my friends, we have begun a political revolution to transform
America, and that revolution — our revolution — continues.”
On the other hand, Republicans should be debating the
re-election of Mitt Romney this year, but
we aren’t. Here’s why.
Without debating Romney’s merits all over again, the reason
that the contest this year is not between Romney/Ryan and Clinton/Kaine is
because millions of “faith and values” voters chose to sit it out in 2012.
Weeks before the 2012 election, I had a very intelligent young Christian woman
ask a question far too typical of evangelicals: “Can you really vote for a
Mormon?”
Of course, in addition to those evangelicals, there were
also millions of principled conservatives who didn’t cast their ballots in
2012, protesting that Romney was a centrist, moderate, Northeastern elitist.
So how did that work out?
Four more years of Barack Obama’s colossal failures in both
domestic and foreign policy.
All that being the case, once again, millions of
conservatives are reluctant to vote because the choices are the assurance of
extending Obama’s disgraceful legacy for four more years under a Clinton regime or the prospect that Donald Trump will prove to be the “lesser of two evils”
come January 2017.
For value and principle conservatives wrestling with whether
to vote for Trump or not at all, political philosophers and moral theologians
have written for generations about the “incommensurability in values,” or, in
common parlance, choosing between the lesser of two evils.
Some of my conservative friends subscribe to the observation
of 19th century British theologian Charles Spurgeon, who wrote, “Of two evils,
choose neither.” But Spurgeon’s words, as related to evil actions, are taken
out of context in reference to civic duty. Of such duties, Spurgeon said, “I
would not, however, say …
despise the privilege which you have as citizens.”
The question of voting for Trump is no quandary for me.
While I understand well the nature of presidential character, and believe both Clinton and Trump
fall substantially short of that character, I also understand that the outcome
of the November election will not only determine our president for at least the
next four years, but also the composition of the Supreme Court for at
least the next quarter-century. Think about that before you decide to stay
home this year or to cast a “protest vote” for a third-party candidate.
On this point, I would state emphatically that those who
choose to sit this election out or “choose neither” are making
a choice. In fact, I would argue that handing this election to Hillary Clinton
is far more evil than choosing the lesser of the two. If you can’t vote for Trump,
then at least vote against Clinton. If you can’t vote for Trump,
then at least vote for the Supreme Court. And make no mistake:
A vote this year for a third-party candidate in any state where the Clinton v
Trump contest is close constitutes a vote for Clinton and a third
term for Obama. Period.
After the conservative congressional advances across the
nation in 2010 and 2014, despite the needless presidential loss in 2012,
throwing this year’s contest to Clinton would be disastrous.
“The ‘conscience’ argument that one
can sleep with a clear conscience by not voting for Trump [asserts] that your
conscience is clear after making it possible for Clinton to win. … In the 2016 presidential
race, I am not interested in moral purity. I am interested in defeating the
left and its party, the Democratic Party. The notion … that we can live with another four years of a
Democratic president is, forgive me, mind-boggling. To that end … multiple additional
leftists on the Supreme Court, a Republican presidential victory in 2020 would
mean nothing. …
Left-wing judges pass so many left-wing laws that they render those who control
Congress, and even the White House, almost irrelevant. I just don’t understand
how anyone who understands the threat the left and the Democrats pose on
America will refuse to vote for the only person who can stop them.”
(Notably, Prager argues that Trump’s convention speech was
not “dark enough.”)
Last week, Donald Trump delivered his GOP convention acceptance speech, outlining in the broadest
terms what his objectives would be if elected president.
This week, Hillary Clinton will conclude the DNC convention
with a similar speech, promising mostly the antithesis of the Trump platform.
And it is unlikely that any of her adoring media will highlight her extensive
record of incompetence and lawlessness.
In advance of Clinton’s diatribe, we compiled a list
of questions for consideration by those who are not yet
committed to vote for Trump. Our editors have expanded that list to include the
following questions:
Who will achieve more with Republicans in Congress?
Who will nominate judges for the federal bench and Supreme Court
who will uphold Rule of Law?
Who is more likely to formulate and enforce stronger foreign
policy in an effort to restore America’s standing in the world?
Who is more likely to seek to begin rebuilding America’s
military might?
Who is more likely to implement policies to protect America
and the West from catastrophic terrorist attacks?
Who is more likely to clearly identify the greatest
ideological threat to the West as “Islamic extremism”?
Who is more likely to treat our nation’s military personnel
and veterans with the dignity and respect they have earned?
Who is more likely to enforce immigration laws and protect
American borders?
Who is more likely to support the Second Amendment?
Who is more likely to reduce taxes?
Who is more likely to balance a budget?
Who is more likely to address our ruinous national debt?
Who is more likely to be a better communicator of free
market principles?
Who is more likely to reduce oppressive central government
regulations?
Who is more likely to repeal ObamaCare and implement market
solutions for health care?
Who is more likely to repeal the onerous Dodd-Frank
regulations?
Who has more experience creating and protecting American
jobs?
Who is more likely to promote Americanism rather than
globalism?
Who is more likely to flex American muscle when dealing with
foreign tyrants?
Who is more likely to aggressively pursue energy
exploration?
Who is more likely to re-write trade agreements that
undermine the U.S. economy?
Who is more likely to populate their administration with
free enterprise advocates?
Who is more likely to advocate for retention of Republican
majorities in the House and Senate?
Who is more likely to resist the influence of Wall Street?
Who is more likely to reject Obama’s unconstitutional
executive overreach?
Who is more likely to denounce Black Lives Matter and other
Democrat Party fronts seeking to disunite America?
I’m sure you can add to this list, and I’m equally sure that
Trump will fare better across the board than Clinton.
In her convention remarks, Michelle Obama declared, “This
election … is about
who will have the power to shape our children for the next four or eight years
of their lives.” Indeed it is, and well into the next generation. Will our
children and their children fare better with leadership from Democrats on the
Left or Republicans on the Right?
So to my fellow conservatives who don’t plan to vote in
2016, I ask the following: What will our nation look like in 2020? How about
2030?
I ask this question not only as a citizen and fellow
Patriot, but also as one who, like many other Patriots, has family blood on the
line in this election. As the father of a young Marine who is bound by oath to
“Support and Defend” our Constitution, I am, like so many of
you, deeply concerned about who will be our next commander in chief.
The last seven years have been very demoralizing for those
of us who are in the trenches every day advocating for Liberty. But take heart.
While Liberty is eternal, the contest
to maintain its beacon of freedom is also eternal, and sitting this election
out or voting for a third-party candidate in a closely contested state only
makes that contest more difficult.
Finally, the Demos are very divided. Let’s finish them off. Hillary
Clinton is a deeply flawed status quo candidate in an election year for change.
My advice to anyone who hasn’t yet committed to vote for Trump
and the Supreme Court, or at least vote against Clinton:
Embrace the suck. Just do it, and convince everyone you know to do the same.

If you were foolish enough to tune into the Democratic
National Convention (DNC) you will noticed the Party faithful spinning lies by
twisting the words of Donald Trump to provide the illusion the GOP candidate
said something he did not. Then Dem Party speaker after speaker took the spun
lies to deride Donald Trump. Now I realize Trump is very far away from the
perfect Conservative candidate; nevertheless, to create a lie then turn around
and have the hubris to lie about how grand Crooked Hillary is – well is
galling!
Obama’s FBI gave her a pass in having an unsecured private
server. In which she dispersed Classified information which included lying that
she never worked with Classified emails because of the moronic stipulation that
nothing was Classified at the time. Friends, Democrats and Leftists – this was
felonious behavior! Others have been prosecuted and found guilty in doing much
less.
BUT WAIT! The FBI is still investigating Crooked Hillary on
the actions of the Clinton Foundation receiving MILLIONS of dollars from Muslim
nations in which Radical (as defined by the PC crowd) Islam is a part of
official policy just before and while she was Secretary of State. Unfortunately,
though, who believes the FBI or the Justice Department will ever prosecute Crooked
Hillary and Slick Willy for any kind of felonious crime while Barack Hussein
Obama is President of the United States?

So Hillary is crooked but praised by the Dems and the Left-oriented
Mainstream Media (MSM). AND I have heard nothing but praise for Hillary’s VP
choice for running mate (including GOP Senators and Congressmen). It seems to
be axiomatic that the Dems are guilty of lying, manipulation and deception because
the VP selection in Senator Tim Kaine of Virginia also follows the Dem
crookedness.
An ACT
for America email alert is warning their readers that Tim Kaine
has extensive connections to Muslim Brotherhood (MB) front organizations in
America, If you are reading this and only have your eyes and ears to the MSM
you may not realize that anything to do with the MB means what the PC crowd
calls Radical Islam. And Radical Islam’s global agenda to establish a
transnational Caliphate to rule the world under Islamic Supremacism. That means
Islamic terrorism and war against the West – the United States of America in
particular.
This is the shame of the Democratic Party, Crooked Hillary
and Senator Tim Kaine.
Hillary Clinton has chosen Virginia Senator Tim Kaine as her
VP, but his suspicious history of Islamic ties has raised some red flags. Kaine
has a background in funding Islamic organizations, has appointed a Hamas
sympathizer as a Muslim Brotherhood front leader, and even spoke at a dinner
honoring a Muslim Brotherhood terror suspect.
Can we really trust this kind of “leadership” in our White House? The
upcoming elections may be the most important in our nation’s history. We
urge you to get educated and think carefully about who is best to protect our
nation and its democratic freedoms in the years ahead.
Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s
newly-announced running mate, Virginia Senator Tim Kaine, has a history of
embracing Islamists. He appointed a Hamas supporter to a state immigration
commission; spoke at a dinner honoring a Muslim Brotherhood terror
suspect and received donations from well-known Islamist groups.
Appointing a Muslim Brotherhood Front Leader Who Supports
Hamas
In 2007, Kaine was the Governor of Virginia and, of all
people chose Muslim American Society (MAS) President Esam Omeish to the state’s
Immigration Commission. A Muslim organization against Islamismcriticized the
appointment and reckless lack of vetting.
Federal prosecutors said in a 2008 court filing that
MAS was “founded as the overt arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in America.” A Chicago
Tribuneinvestigation in
2004 confirmed this, as well as MAS’ crafty use of deceptive semantics to
appear moderate. Convicted terrorist and admitted U.S. Muslim Brotherhood
member Abdurrahman Alamoudi testified in
2012, “Everyone knows that MAS is the Muslim Brotherhood.”
According to Omeish’s website, he was also president of the National Muslim Students Association (click
there to read our profile about its Muslim Brotherhood origins) and served for
two years on the national board of the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA),
which the Justice Department also labeled as a U.S. Muslim Brotherhood entity
and unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas-financing trial.
His website says he was the vice president of Dar al-Hijrah Islamic Center, a
radical mosque known for its history of terror ties, including having future
Al-Qaeda operative Anwar Al-Awlaki as its imam and being frequented by two of the 9/11 hijackers
and Nidal Hasan, the perpetrator of the Fort Hood shooting. Omeish’s website
says he remains a board member.
Omeish’s website also says he was a member of the board of Islamic American University,
which had Hamas financier and Muslim Brotherhood spiritual leader Yousef
Al-Qaradawi chairman of its board until at least 2006.
Omeish was also chairman of the board for the Islamic Center of Passaic County,
a New Jersey mosque with heavy terrorist ties and an imam that the Department
of Homeland Security wants to deport for having links to Hamas.
Omeish directly expressed extremism before Kaine appointed
him. He claimed the Brotherhood is “moderate” and admitted that he and MAS are
influenced by the Islamist movement.
In 2004, Omeish praised the
Hamas spiritual leader as “our beloved Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.” Videotape from 2000 also surfaced where
Omeish pledged to help Palestinians who understand “the jihadway is the way to liberate your land” (he denied this
was an endorsement of violence).
When a state delegate wrote a letter to then-Governor Kaine
warning him that the MAS has “questionable origins,” a Kaine spokesperson said the
charge was bigotry.
Kaine obviously failed to do any kind of basic background
checking in Omeish.
Omeish resigned under heavy pressure, and Kaine acknowledged
that his statements “concerned” him. But, apparently, they didn’t concern him
enough to actually learn about the Muslim Brotherhood network in his state and
to take greater precautions in the future.
Speaking at a Dinner Honoring Muslim Brotherhood Terror
Suspect
In September 2011, Kaine spoke at a
"Candidates Night" dinner organized by the New
Dominion PAC that presented a Lifetime Achievement Award for Jamal Barzinji,
who the Global Muslim Brotherhood Watch describes as a
“founding father of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.”
He first came on to the FBI’s radar in 1987-1988 when an
informant inside the Brotherhood identified Barzinji and
his associated groups as being part of a network of
Brotherhood fronts to “institute the Islamic Revolution in the United States.”
The source said Barzinji and his colleagues were “organizing political support
which involves influencing both public opinion in the United States as well as
the United States Government” using “political action front groups with no
traceable ties.”
Barzinji had his home searched as part of a terrorism
investigation in 2003. U.S. Customs Service Senior Special Agent David Kane said in
a sworn affidavit that Barzinji and the network of entities he led were
investigated because he “is not only closed associated with PIJ [Palestinian
Islamic Jihad]…but
also with Hamas.” Counter-terrorism reporter Patrick Poole broke the
story that Barzinji was nearly prosecuted but
the Obama Justice Department dropped plans for indictment.
Barzinji played a major role in nearly every Brotherhood
front in the U.S. and was vice president of the International Institute of Islamic Thought (IIIT),
which came under terrorism investigation also. Barzinji’s group was so close to
Palestinian Islamic Jihad operative Sami Al-Arian that IIIT’s President
considered his group and Al-Arian’s to be essentially one entity.
The indictment of Al-Arian and
his colleagues says that they “would and did seek to obtain support
from influential individuals, in the United States under the guise of promoting
and protecting Arab rights (emphasis mine).”
The quotes about Brotherhood operative Barzinji’s
aspirations to use civil rights advocacy as a means to influence politicians
are especially relevant when you consider that video from the event honoring Barzinji shows Kaine
saying that it was his fourth time at the annual dinner and thanked his
“friends” that organized it for helping him in his campaign for
lieutenant-governor and governor and asked them to help his Senate campaign.
Islamist Financial Support
Barzinji’s organization, IIIT, donated $10,000 in
2011 to the New Dominion PAC, the organization that held the event honoring
Barzinji that Kaine spoke at. The Barzinji-tied New Dominion PAC donated $43,050 to
Kaine’s gubernatorial campaign between 2003 and 2005. That figure doesn’t even
include other political recipients that assisted Kaine’s campaign.
It’s worth noting that Barzinji’s IIIT donated $3,500 to
Esam Omeish’s 2009 campaign delegate campaign, tying together the cadre of
Muslim Brotherhood-linked leaders who got into Kaine’s orbit.
Conclusion
Kaine has no excuse. If he has an Internet connection, then
he and his staff should have known about their backgrounds. They were either
extremely careless (something Kaine would have in common with
the top of the ticket) or knew and looked the other way in the hopes of earning
donations and votes.
Clinton’s choice of Kaine is widely seen as a way of
strengthening her campaign’s national security credentials. Yet, Clinton is
asking us to trust a candidate on national security who appoints a Hamas
supporter to an immigration commission and speaks at a dinner honoring a Muslim
Brotherhood terror suspect.
America -- the Promised Land of Liberty __ must reject the
lies, the false narratives, presented to Her by Obama and the black nationalist
fascists and nihilists of Black Lives Matter (BLM) and the New Black Panthers,
who seek to undermine the rule of law and our republic. They blur the line
between good and evil in a vile and reprehensible manner, they sacrifice
justice for politics, and they justify the "revenge" murders of
police officers, in their ignorant message of a divided America,
"Black" America vs "White" America.
However, the majority of people in this wonderful country
know there exists only one America filled with millions of people, just like
John Quincy Adams, who fought the slave-holding majority in Congress until his
old body and voice failed him. Americans recall the black soldiers in our wars
for freedom, who bled along with their white brothers for the liberty of all
people, black and white and yellow and red. And Martin Luther King, Jr. paved
the way for all of us to join hands in brotherhood, one people and one nation
under God.
After two black men were shot by police in the first weeks
of July, one in Baton Rouge and one in Minneapolis, Black Lives Matter, largely
funded by socialist billionaire George Soros [BCN-3/4/16, American Mirror-7/12/16, YourNewsHour.com-7/13/16],
organized "peaceful" protests across the nation, raging against the
police. But violence was repeatedly urged by many of the protest leaders and
America's usual self-serving race-baiters, and the bloodshed that soon followed
is on Obama's hands for having failed to call for calm earlier.
Right Click - Open - For Larger View
Racial politics are identity politics, the politics of
division. They encourage one group, in this case the black community, to
believe that the Democrats are the champions for black people against those who
are "oppressing" them, and all too often of late, they have been the
politics of hate.
Obama, the most partisan U.S. president in history, stated:
"These are not isolated incidents. They are symptomatic of a broader set
of racial disparities that exist in our criminal justice system."
BLM marchers in Dallas chanted "Pigs in a blanket - fry
'em like bacon."
Less than four hours after Louis Farrakhan [The Blaze-7/8/16], leader
of the radical Nation of Islam and mentor to the New Black Panthers, released a
video (5 p.m. July 7th), Micah Johnson, a black Army Veteran,
murdered five Dallas policemen with an SKS 7.62mm rifle. During the ensuing
standoff, Johnson told officers he was angry over recent police shootings and
wanted to kill white people.
Speaking about white people as one entity, Farrakhan told
viewers: "Every damn thing he got, he got it by being violent - killing
people, raping and robbing and murdering. ... and then he has the nerve to come
and tell us that violence and hatred won't get it. Don't buy that!" [NOI Tweet]
Three more policemen were murdered in Baton Rouge on July
17th by Gavin Long, a former Marine and a member of the Nation of Islam, who
raged against "crackers" on Youtube. Long also defended the Dallas
shooter [New York Daily News], saying, "It's justice. You know what I'm
saying."
No -- Murdering innocent police officers, who were doing
their jobs and protecting and serving the protesters in Dallas, is not
"justice".
This tone of "justice" was set on the day former
Attorney General Eric Holder refused to prosecute the New Black Panthers for
voter intimidation in Philadelphia. Add Obama's sympathy for this black fascist
group and the media's obsession with false narratives surrounding police
shootings, and this spate of anti-police violence is no surprise.
Finally, after Baton Rouge, with his words oozing in
sickening hypocrisy, Obama urged Americans to "temper our words and open
our hearts". This man is a real psychopath.
In January 2009 in a National Geographic documentary, King
Epic Times-12/5/14]:
"You want freedom? You going to have to kill some crackers! You going to
have to kill some of their babies!"
Samir Shabbaz, head of the New Black Panthers in Philadelphia, stated [
According to Roland Fryer, Jr., Harvard Ph.d, who conducted
a study of 1332 police shootings in ten large cities in California, Texas and
Florida, "officers were more likely to fire their weapons without first
having been attacked when the suspects were white". Similar studies in
'The Reverse Racism Effect' and by researchers at Washington State University
concur. The studies consider stressors and various levels of tense situations
when the use of lethal force could have been justified. Officers were found to
be 20% less likely to shoot if the suspects were black, in Houston.
But Black Lives Matter and the New Black Panthers aren't
interested in facts from anyone, because they are degenerate murderous
groups, who target white people with intimidation and physical assaults, which
reinforces the racist stereotypes that blacks are aggressive, assaultive and
violent. They destroy far more than their credibility with these tactics, as
they destroy their communities and entire cities, like Ferguson and Baltimore.
And if black lives really mattered to them, they would be shooting the drug
pushers and gang-bangers, who kill thousands of black people annually, instead
of innocent police officers.
In nearly every recent case, a black person was shot by the
police when they resisted arrest. If they had simply complied with the
policeman's lawful order, they might have gone to jail, but they wouldn't have
ended up in a casket.
Delivering some rousing truth at the Republican National
Convention on July 21st, Mark Burns, a black pastor from South Carolina, had
the crowd cheering as he declared: All lives matter ... That means black lives,
white lives, Hispanic lives, Asian lives, Christian lives, Muslim lives - shout
with me - all lives matter ... And despite the color you was born with,
here in America, the only colors that matter are the colors of red, white and
blue!"
[Blog Editor: The RNC
might call the Pastor Mark Burns speaking a speech, but I call it 8 and ½ minutes
of DARN GOOD PREACHING:
Over fifty years ago, with the strong advocacy of old white
men such as Senator Everett Dirksen (R), America climbed on "to the sunlit
path of racial justice", but today's black radicals missed class on the
day Martin Luther King Jr.'s advocacy for "nonviolent direct action"
and [sitting] "down together at the table of brotherhood" was taught.
They cast a dark shadow on this path, and their racist progressive intolerance
will only appear as a sad footnote in history.
Americans have been horrified by the mayhem and murder
unleashed by BLM and the New Black Panthers, and we will not allow criminals
running wild and racial division to be any part of America's destiny. Deadly
force cannot be the first instinct of the policeman when dealing with criminal
suspects, if and when this occurs, no matter how nervous the situation, and the
murders of police officers cannot happen anymore or anywhere, simply because
the color blue is now perceived by some as anti-black. The next administration
must target the BLM and the New Black Panther Party under anti-terrorism and
organized crime laws [RICO Act], just as the KKK chapters of old were targeted,
or it can watch as our society collapses and descends into survival of the
fittest. When people's lives are not protected, there is not any Liberty.
But if we really want racial harmony __ what if we all
simply followed God's rule of "do unto others as you would have them do
unto you"?
"Who has put wisdom in the mind? Who has given
understanding to the heart?" __ Job 38: 35-36
Dallas Police Chief David Brown left us one bright moment
amongst these tragedies, as he honored and expressed his love for the fallen
Dallas Police Officers, quoting Stevie Wonder: "I'll be loving you until
the rainbow burns the stars out of the sky ... Until we dream of life and life
becomes a dream ... Until the earth just for the sun denies itself ... Until
the day that you are me and I am you ... Now ain't that loving you."

I am not a big fan of the Gulen (aka Hizmet) Movement. At worst the movement is a
clandestine Islamist movement disguised as a moderate Muslim peaceful interfaith
dialogue organization OR at best it is Islam’s version of a brainwashing
Scientology-like cult.
Ari Bussel sent me this Gulen Movement perspective of the
attempted coup in Turkey which President Recep Erdogan blamed the influential
Gulen Movement in Turkey. Erdogan used the coup attempt to execute a
Nazi-style purge of his enemy rivals which included thousands of
Fethullah Gulen followers in Turkey.
Ari Bussel sent the Pacifica Institute version
of the account without comment. Pacifica totally exonerates its fearless leader
Fethullah Gulen who actually lives in an obscure compound in the USA in exile
from Turkey. Indeed, Gulen has lived in the USA for quite some time operating
as a stealth Islam interfaith advocate. I use the word “stealth” because I am
more convinced Gulen’s moderation is more for show than actual, much like the
numerous Muslim Brotherhood front groups
in America such as the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR).
[I included the video description which are not a part of
the email sent by Ari Bussel.]
As many of you may already be aware, Turkey is going through
a very difficult time nowadays. We are deeply concerned about the ongoing
situation in the country and we, as Pacifica Institute, strongly condemn this
attempted military coup. A coup of any sort defies the democratic process, and
we stand opposed to such a hostile and violent attempt at toppling the
democratically elected government in Turkey.
We would like to share the following information for those
of you who might be interested in reviewing the developments as they took
place. We sincerely hope that this issue is resolved quickly and in the
best interest of Turkey and its citizens.
What happened?
On
Friday night, a group of middle-ranking Turkish soldiers
attempted a coup
Their
focus was on Ankara and Istanbul, taking control of the Istanbul's
bridges, airports, the Turkish parliament, and some police stations
Their
attempted coup was ill-planned and badly executed
Their
efforts were thwarted by the police aided by the huge public support
161
people killed, including members of the coup; 1,500 wounded; 3,000
soldiers arrested
The
government has blamed the attempted coup on the Gulen movement. Some
government ministers have also blamed the US as being behind the
coup.
Who is behind this attempted coup?
We
really do not know. It is too early to say.
Erdogan
is using the incident as a pretext to purge those associated with the
Hizmet Movement from any position affiliated with the state, society
and to further smear the Movement in general
For
example, while it was reported that 47 military officers were involved in
the coup, as of now, almost 3,000 officers, including tens of generals
have been arrested. Furthermore, the Higher Board of Judges and
Prosecutors sacked 2745 judges and prosecutors including ten of its own
members. Already tens of appellate judiciary judges are detained by orders
from the Ankara Prosecutor.
How
did the government determine the culpability of 2745 judges overnight in a
coup orchestrated by a fraction of the military? Clearly, these are people
the government wanted to get rid of anyway and is using this opportunity
to do so.
Has Gulen condemned the coup?
Absolutely
and unequivocally
In the
early hours of the coup, the Alliance for Shared Values, an
organization that speaks on behalf of Gulen, condemned the coup attempt.
This was followed by a personal statement by Gulen, and by
leading Gulen inspired organizations condemning the coup without if's and
but's.
Gulen's
condemnation was picked up by the world press, including the FT.
So why has Erdogan blamed Gulen for this coup?
Gulen
and Hizmet is Erdogan's "default scapegoat". Whenever something
happens that he does not approve, he blames it on Gulen.
Be it
a condemnatory letter from 75 US Senators on Turkey; to corruption
investigations; to something [else ridiculous]. Gulen becomes a pretext to
purge state and society of anyone not entirely loyal.
It is
far easier to blame this on Gulen because that is a narrative the public
have already come to accept. Also, by claiming that the Gulen movement is
everywhere, blaming this military act on Gulen allows Erdogan to strike
elsewhere on pretext that they are one and the same.
How did Turkish people stood with President Erdogan
against the military?
Erdogan's
support among the Turkish electorate was approximately 40-50 per cent
before this coup. So he already had widespread support.
Even
those staunchly critical of Erdogan and the government condemned the coup
and stood by the government.
Crucially,
the coup plotters failed to project the sense that their coup was
succeeding which coup experts point out as crucial.
There
was no support for a military takeover by the Turkish people
Why have the people opposed Erdogan in the past? What has
he done that has made people so unhappy?
In his
1st and 2nd terms, Erdogan ran a reforming government.
However,
from 2010 onwards, Erdogan became increasingly authoritarian as he began
to pursue more populist Islamist policies. The summer 2013 Gezi park
protests was in reaction to this authoritarianism which Erdogan labelled
as a coup of the "interest rate lobby", a euphemism for the
Jewish lobby.
This
authoritarian streak gained momentum when a series of corruption
investigations implicating Erdogan's inner circle went public in December
2013 onwards. To suppress the substantial evidence and judicial
investigations, Erdogan fought back to control and colonize the judiciary,
media and civil society to crush all forms of dissent.
Many
people are unhappy with the resulting authoritarian regime.
Aftermath - As of 19 July evening
29,464
suspended from civil service
1,577
deans were asked to resign
21,000
teachers in private schools had their licences revoked
6,319
soldiers are in custody
950
civilians arrested
3
newspapers were denied printing facilities
20
news websites were blocked in Turkey
2,745
members of the judiciary were among the suspended civil service personnel.
What now?
Erdogan
has already won. There won't be any meaningful opposition to his
witch-hunt against opposition groups from now on.
Till
now, the Chief of General Staff resisted Erdogan's attempts of redesigning
the military. The Chief of staff has now given into that.
Having
attained complete loyalty from Turkish state and civil society structures,
Erdogan next stop is likely to be the Turkish diaspora overseas.
We are
already seeing coordinated attacks against Hizmet overseas and this is
likely to continue.
·For the past 6 years Erdogan has been creating
formal and informal structures through which to mobilize the Turkish-speaking
and increasingly wider Muslim communities.
Fethullah Gulen issued the following statement on recent
developments in Turkey
I condemn, in the strongest terms, the attempted military
coup in Turkey. Government should be won through a process of free and fair
elections, not force. I pray to God for Turkey, for Turkish citizens, and
for all those currently in Turkey that this situation is resolved
peacefully and quickly.
As someone who suffered under multiple military coups during
the past five decades, it is especially insulting to be accused of having any
link to such an attempt. I categorically deny such accusations.
Fethullah Gulen's interviews
Mr. Gülen calls for an international investigation of coup
attempt in Turkey
“On the occasion of the latest
incident (coup attempt in Turkey), I can say that, if there is such a claim
that there were people [among the perpetrators] whom I knew, whom I motivated
and lead, people who acted with my orders, let's have an international
committee investigate this matter. Let them investigate if there was such a
thing and let them make a decision. I will comply with whatever the result is,
even if it is a lie... I will comply even if the committee is bribed and signs
and fills papers that calumniate. But only a big international organization
should do the investigation, in my humble opinion"
Fethullah Gülen: 'I deplore and reject any anti-democratic
attempts.'
Q: What is your position on this
coup attempt and the claims that you are involved in this?
A: I condemn and reject any coup whatsoever. I deplore and reject any coup
attempt as well. I would raise my arms and would stop them saying that
"this is a dead-end", even against considerations of a coup, as the
famous Turkish poet Necip Fazil said…
This has always has been my general attitude; and my attitude will never
change. If even the people who would like to drink my blood would come to the
power through democratic elections, I would never consider or approve them
being taken down through anti-democratic ways and methods. I do not and will
never consider or approve such an attempt. Even if they [those elected] would
drink my blood, I would go among people who are trying to bring them down and
raise my arms and tell them this is dead-end.
Why was Mr. Gulen's name brought up in the coup attempt in
Turkey?
Q: Do you know why the president
(Erdogan) needed to bring your name up in this [coup attempt]?
A: He (Mr. Erdogan) has always had a reaction to those who do not obey him
since the beginning.
As I previously expressed in other occasions, maybe, he was concealing some of
his feelings.
There are things they were not able to achieve worldwide. People in the Hizmet
Movement opened schools in 170 countries.
They tried to open Yunus Emre houses in 14-15 locations but they could not be
successful. Turkish Olympiads displeased them.
Before founding the [AK] Party, he came to consult with me about founding the
party. I met with him twice. One is when he came to ask my opinion about
founding the [AK] Party. I suppose, he went to other people as well. It was not
only a matter of asking opinion but also seeking support. I expressed my own
considerations at the time.
Then my friends told me this. After he met with me in the 5th floor
(Altunizade, Istanbul), when he was in the elevator, he said to the person next
to him "we need to defeat them, vanquish them first."
That is, they do not want any alternative formation, any service to exist.
Fethullah Gülen comments on rumors about the coup attempt in
Turkey
Q: What is your opinion about the
possibility that they (the Turkish gov't) staged this coup attempt themselves;
are there any findings that suggest this?
A: In my opinion, how the incident took place is not like a coup. It is more
like a sham. High level officers were not involved. In the past, coups were
staged by high-level army officers, like generals etc.
I do not know what level officers were involved in the latest attempt. But in
terms of how it took place, it seems more like a scenario to me.
There are also rumors. Some people approach the matter in a way that suggests
'they plotted it themselves to strengthen their power, to do the retrenchment
he wanted to do.'
There are also his (Erdogan's) statements afterwards. He said things like
"Now our hand became stronger. We can easily fire the army officers whom
we wanted to fire on the basis of this [coup attempt] category."
When we bring all these together, it is what we make sense of the entire
statements made before and after the incident.
We cannot say it absolutely. Saying, 'it clearly happened this way' would be an
imputation. However, it is one of the possibilities that come to mind based on
the considerations I mentioned.
Gülen: The truth will eventually come out, let us focus on
integrity and togetherness of our society
Q: Is there any message that you
would like to send out to the people of Turkey?
A: One one side, we hear certain allegations and discomfort from certain groups
of people. On the other side, we see certain people being exposed to oppression
and suffering; they are being crushed under the allegation of horrendous acts.
I would like to ask all of them to keep their calm. I would suggest that they
not rush into any conclusions. Time is the most significant interpreter we
have. Let us allow time to interpret, uncover and resolve this issue.
Also, Allah (God Almighty), whom we
have full faith in, will allow for the truth to come out sooner or later. And
every person will then see things for what they truly are.
Indeed, we must not lose our balance. The nation of Turkey, the people have been
polarized and separated greatly. The repair that is needed requires a great
effort on all our part. Society needs to undergo a rehabilitation process. In
this respect, it would be wrong to bring about new wounds and tears.
The integrity and togetherness of the society.. that is what needs to be
preserved.. and whatever that may require, we must do what we need to do.
CBS8 - San Diego News: Local group reacts to
accusations against cleric
The local group Pacifica Group,
which follows the teachings of a cleric accused of being behind the failed coup
attempt in Turkey, claims Muhammed Fetullah Gulen was not behind Friday's
coup.
Fox31 Denver: Some Coloradans feel backlash of failed
coup in Turkey
AURORA, Colo. -- We’re thousands of
miles from the trouble in Turkey after a failed attempt to overthrow the
government. But some Coloradans are feeling the backlash.
They are supporters of Muslim
cleric Fethullah Gulen, who is accused of spearheading the uprising. The
Multicultural Mosaic Foundation is a nonprofit established by Turkish-Americans
in Colorado in 2003.
Their main source of inspiration is
Gulen. Turkey President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Gulen and his supporters
are terrorists. But Gulen's supporters say that claim is laughable.
After the gunfire rang out and more
than 265 people died, government supporters stopped the military from
overthrowing Erdogan.
"To see bombs thrown at
bridges, military attack civilians, this is heart break," said Ismail
Akbulut, president of Multicultural Mosaic Foundation in Aurora.
For Akbulut, of Superior, that
wouldn't be the end of it. The accusations came next.
"They held the movement
responsible for what was going on in Turkey," he said.
Multicultural Mosaic Foundation is
affiliated with the Gulen movement, named after the famed cleric, who Turkey's
president called the head terrorist who plotted the uprising.
But Akbulut said Gulen's
movement is about peace, pro-democracy and bringing people together without
religion or politics.
"He preached for more than 40 years
nonviolence. He is referenced as the Turkish Mahatma Gandhi," he said.
But accusations by Erdogan still
spark anger.
"People who we called friends
in the U.S., in Colorado, wrote on Facebook, called us terrorists, threatened
us," said Akbulut.
One message said, "If you
truly like Turkey and you would like to do something good, go ahead destroy
yourself because we don't want to make our hands dirty."
Another said in an email: “I don't
want to be subscribed on the list of a terrorist group trying to overthrow a
democratically-elected government ..."
"We have a culture center
here. We feel we could be attacked by supporters of Erdogan," Akbulut
said.
Erdogan supporters already
vandalized a cultural center affiliated with Gulen in Lyon, France.
"Turkey was doing a few years
ago a good job promoting democracy. Now it's turning into a dictatorship,"
said Akbulut.
Erdogan demanded the United States
extradite Gulen to Turkey from Pennsylvania. And the U.S. said it will if
Turkey has evidence of Gulen's involvement in the coup.
Colorado group defends Turkish cleric accused in coup
DENVER - After Turkish President
Tayipp Erdogan reassured the country his government successfully stopped a
military coup, he began pointing fingers at an exiled cleric living in
Pennsylvania whose movement maintains followers around the world -- including
people in Colorado.
The Multicultural Mosaic Society in
Denver is a group that follows the teachings of Fethullah Gulen. The group’s
president, Ismail Akbulut, says he wasn’t surprised by the accusations. He says
it’s led to violence and discrimination against people in the Gulen Movement.
“It is scary because some friends
and family members are being targeted by individuals in Turkey motivated by
Turkish president Erdogan. They are seeing them as terrorists so they target
them individually, attack them physically and also on social media with death
threats,” Akbulut said.
Experts at University of Denver
agree with Akbulut. Director of Middle East Studies at the University, Nadar
Hashemi, finds the accusations to be farfetched but not surprising when
considering the relationship history between Erdogan and Gulen. In 2013,
documents and audio was leaked exposing corruption within the Turkish
government and it’s widely believed that the Gulen Movement was behind it.
“Since then Erdogan has basically
been on a campaign to completely eradicate the Gulen Movement from Turkish
society and I think he is using the coup now as an opportunity to try and
settle scores suggesting that he is going to demand the extradition of
Fethullah Gulen from the United States even hinting that U.S.-Turkish relations
and relations between Turkey and NATO could be put in jeopardy if the united
states doesn’t comply with his request,” Nadar said.
But the Gulen Movement’s not a
violent one despite the Erdogan led government labeling the group as a
terrorist organization. Hashemi says it’s a civil society, religious based
movement that does social welfare work. Gulen promoted interfaith communication
and perhaps most notably, education.
Gulen inspired schools have popped
up all over the world with a focus on S.T.E.M. education and English language
learning outside of the US. Several hundred secular charter schools exist in
the United States, including the Lotus School of Excellence in Aurora.
Hashemi says these schools
generally have a good reputation but there have been investigations into
questionable financial management of the schools run largely by Turkish
immigrants who follow the teachings of Gulen.
“They finance the movement, they
have schools around the world including several hundred charter schools here in
the United States. It does have a certain hierarchal sort of authoritarian
internal organizing capacity and component to it’s internal functioning,”
Hashemi said.
The Colorado Board of Education
denied to appeals for additional charter schools by Lotus citing “financial
concerns, facility concerns, enrollment concerns” and a “lack of transparency.”
But the way schools are run
probably aren’t an indication of Gulen’s involvement or lack-thereof in last
week’s coup.
“It is sad to see people are going
against other citizens, other friends because they are motivated by the Turkish
president,” said Akbulut, worried about an Erdogan dictatorship. “I am
completely against the military coup attempt. I am completely against the
military regime. I am pro democracy.”
