Jewish-Christian Believer (to some the descriptive is Messianic Christian) Jerry Golden provides a view of Israel’s international political circumstances from a Christian perspective of one who is a dwelling citizen of Israel. For Israelis, Golden’s thoughts cannot be happy. In fact they should be alarmingly disturbing!
For Diaspora Jews it should be a no-brainer to demonstrate support for the National Homeland of the Jews. Unfortunately many Jews that one could call secularist and Leftist today tend to join Western Leftists in condemning Israel for actions propagandized as anti-Arab brutal Apartheid. The reality is Leftist Jews are condemning their homeland for acts of self-preservation and prevention of a Second Jewish Holocaust.
For the most part America’s Christian Right, Pentecostal and Prophetic minded Christians get that Israel’s rebirth in 1948 and its survival troubles are signs of a coming tribulation (bad news) and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ the Son of God (good news). Unfortunately there is a huge segment of Christians that transcends denominations that are nominally labeled as Progressive; however “Progressive” is code for different levels of Leftism that remarkably have come to the point of denying the Divinity of Christ and the authority of the Bible. This means Progressive Christians (Protestant and Catholic) are willing to sell out God’s Chosen People because they believe Israel is a victimizer rather than a victim of Islamic terrorism.
Consider my thoughts as you read Jerry Golden’s perspective of a short fuse that might focus on Israel but explode into a World War.
