Can Conservatives be Homosexuals?

Here is a simple question: Can one be a Conservative and a homosexual in America? The simple answer is yes.
Unfortunately for homosexual-Conservatives the question and the answer are not simple. The question and the answer are indeed complicated. Conservatism and Christianity in America is a symbiotic association in which the former draws much of its ideology from the tenets of the latter. The Word of God in the Old and New Testament condemns the act of sex between a male and a male as well as between a female and a female as a sin. Sin separates from God. God gave His only begotten Son up to an unjust death to restore righteousness or right standing between God and a human thus ending separation for all those who believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and the first born from the dead Resurrected as fully man and fully God with all the attributes God laid aside to become incarnated as a man with like temptations yet born without sin (i.e. again without born without being separated from God).
The question of one being both a Conservative and a homosexual is not simple, rather that question is complicated. Thus the complicated answer is NO. Conservatism receiving principles from a Christian heritage precludes a homosexual to be a Conservative.
Self-proclaimed Conservative-homosexual Christopher Barron of GOProud and Joseph Farah had a debate about the issue of the compatibility of Conservatism and homosexuality.
