Independence Day has come and gone. AND I am not feeling too
independent. In conjunction with that independence-diminished feeling I am
going to share four posts. Two from Social Media surfing and two were thought
provoking comments on my NCCR

You Need To Hear Toby Keith’s New Song ‘Happy Birthday
America (Whatever’s Left Of You)’
Toby Keith (screen grab from 7/3/21 Youtube performance)
By Evita

July 4, 2021
Toby Keith's latest 4th of July song 'Happy Birthday
America' 'will bring a tear to every patriot's eye,' writes the Daily Mail.
Toby Keith’s latest 4th of July song, “Happy Birthday
America,” “will bring a tear to every patriot’s eye,” writes The Daily Mail. It
brought a tear to mine, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it brought a tear or two
to yours, too.
By its title, one would expect a booming July 4th anthem,
perfect to play at the BBQ or on the boat. It isn’t. “Seems like everybody’s
pissin’ on the red, white and blue,” sings Keith. “Happy birthday America
whatever’s left of you.”

… MORE TO READ]
The song is hard to hear when we are supposed to be
celebrating independence and everything that makes America exceptional, but
“Happy Birthday America” is truer to the United States in 2021 than any other
song on your 4th of July playlist.
You were the darlin’ when you
saved the world
WW I and II
France would just be part of Germany now
If it hadn’t been for you
Now your children wanna turn you in
To something other than yourself
They burn your flag in their city streets
More than anybody else
Indeed, 2020 was defined by Marxist race
riots, the destruction
of historical monuments, and a mass
rejection of our once-beloved founding fathers. In the
aftermath, no part of American life seems to be spared from the “Black Lives
Matter”-inspired notion of collective
American shame. You’ll find it in schools,
the workplace,
and the same military that
“saved the world WW I and II.”
Right now at our Olympics, athletes who are supposed to
represent America are instead humiliating us on a national stage before
our allies
and enemies alike. One athlete turned
away from the flag on the podium during the “Star Spangled
Banner.” Another said he
only wants to compete in order to “burn a US flag on the podium.”
All the broken-down cities
By the left’s design
And the right can’t seem to get it right
Most of the time
Keith is spot on about this one, too. Unnecessary
and anti-science COVID-19 lockdowns have brought America’s
most beautiful and historic cities to their knees. Not only have cities been
economically broken-down, but Democrat-endorsed BLM rioting literally torched
the United States in 2020.
Last year, I did live
reporting from Kenosha, Wisconsin after the Jacob Blake
shooting. When I was there during the second night for rioting, I remember
thinking how I never thought that in my home state, a place I lived my whole
life and is 97 percent rural, could ever devolve into, as I said at the time,
“something I had only seen in photos of war-torn countries.”
I returned for several days to talk to business owners and
residents in the daylight and survey the destruction from the nights before. It
was crushing.
Who they gonna count on
When you’re not there to take their call?
Will the world keep right on spinnin’
Without the greatest of them all?
Without the helping hand of God
Your days are numbered, my old friend
We’re sure gonna miss you, girl
You were the best that’s ever been
Keith told Fox
News that he wrote “Happy Birthday America” last
summer. “It had been a screwed up 18 months,” Keith said. “I live in the
heartland, and it just feels like everybody you talk to has the same worries.”
“It just feels like the politicians aren’t getting the job
done on either side and it just feels like the democracy is in danger,” he
said. Keith has never identified with a political party. He was raised a
Democrat in Oklahoma but became an independent in 2008. “I was a Democrat my
whole life,” Keith told the Chicago Tribune at the time. “They kind of disowned
me when I started supporting the troops, then I went and registered
independent.”
One of the only sure things about Keith, the country
superstar who brought us “American Soldier,”
“Made in America,”
and of course “Courtesy
of the Red, White, and Blue,” is that he loves America.
That’s what makes “Happy Birthday America” so
striking. Toby Keith, the man who wrote some of America’s
greatest patriotic anthems, isn’t even wondering if America’s best days are
behind her; he already knows. “Your days are numbered, my old friend. We’re
sure gonna miss you, girl.”
Going back 20 years, “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue,”
one of Keith’s biggest hits written in late 2001, captured the patriotic
American spirit that brought the country together in the wake of the September
11th terrorist attacks.
Now this nation that I love has
fallen under attack
A mighty sucker punch came flyin’ in from somewhere in the back
Soon as we could see clearly
Through our big black eye
Man, we lit up your world
Like the fourth of July
Hey Uncle Sam, put your name at the top of his list
And the Statue of Liberty started shakin’ her fist
And the eagle will fly man, it’s gonna be hell
When you hear mother freedom start ringin’ her bell
And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you
Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue
I cannot remember the Twin Towers falling down. When Alan
Jackson sings “Where
Were You When the World Stopped Turning,” I couldn’t tell you. I was
only a year old. I don’t remember the horror of watching the towers crash live
on TV. The anxiety never sunk in that my homeland is under attack. I also don’t
remember the American flags that showed up overnight in front of homes and
businesses and flew from cars and boats.
As Marine veteran and medal of honor recipient Dakota Meyer
said on Joe Rogan’s podcast: “I would never wish for another 9/11, but I would
give anything for a 9/12… people were proud of America.”
[Blog Editor: Here the post has a Tik Tok platform

Growing up, I often regarded the zeitgeist captured in
“Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue” as not an ideal or a legacy. It is America,
or so I thought. As I’ve grown older, though, things have changed, and not just
for me, but for Keith and the rest of Americans.
I don’t remember the unique unity experienced in the
immediate aftermath of 9/11. I do, however, remember being taught Thanksgiving
is racist in elementary school. In high school, I remember being handed Howard
Zinn’s “A
People’s History” and hearing the same America-hating narrative repeated
back to me as a history major in college.
Outside of school, one of the most formative experiences of
my life has been my trip to Kenosha, Wisconsin, where I watched an otherwise
sleepy Wisconsin city burn at the hands of radical leftists and their lies.
When I watch Fourth of July TikToks, all I see is boiling
hatred for our country. The flag isn’t a symbol of national unity anymore, it’s
a symbol of racism and oppression.
“All these Fourth of July decorations doesn’t sit well with
me,” says one Tik Tok-er. “We’re at a point where the American flag on any
piece of anything… screams racist to me. It screams colonizer… fourth of July
is officially cancelled… f-ck the fireworks.”

another user, “I will not be celebrating Fourth of July or Thanksgiving now or
ever.”

This constant animosity toward our country, assassination of
authentic history, and assault on America’s legacy is overwhelming. It beats
you down — even the best of us, like Toby Keith.
When I ignore the critical race theory and whatever Ibram X.
Kendi is tweeting about, though, I still see a shining
city upon a hill. I can see the America that can trace its roots to rugged
pilgrims seeking religious freedom in 1620,
not 1619. The one founded on principles that established authentic
equality during the Civil War, suffragist movement, and civil rights movement.
We are two-time World War champs and we triumphed over
communism during the Cold War. Our founders weren’t avid racists, but
enlightened men who sacrificed their reputations, livelihoods, and lives, which
allows us to, as Keith sings, “wake up in freedom.” “Freedom, tested by
blood, and watered with tears.”
Maybe Keith is right, and America’s days are numbered. Maybe
everything that’s good about America is its history that is now being
sacrificed for a left-wing narrative cementing an unavoidable downfall.
But I like to think that if there are still people willing
to bravely fight abroad and at home defend America’s legacy — not just in
Congress, but in the classroom, on the school board, and at the local city
council meeting — then there is still hope. Maybe me saying this despite being
too young to have experienced the America Keith is famous for singing about is
another sign of hope, or maybe it’s just youthful naivete.

Dr. Anthony Fauci has been right about ONE thing:
The “vaccines” are definitely creating, “Two America’s”. There
are those who have remained true to God and this Republic, and, There are those
who have committed treason against God and this Republic by wearing MASKS and
submitting to the “JABS”.
GREAT FRAUD EXPOSED:
The Evil “Great Reset” Explained in 30 Seconds
DON’T BLAME PRESIDENT TRUMP
Make no mistake:
President Trump saved our Republic with Operation Warpspeed.
The goal of our global enemies was total control of the USA via total economic
destruction of the USA.
The “pandemic” was never about a virus, unless you consider
fear to be a virus.
#CuresForFears
How long did “The Science” say it would take to develop
vaccines?
After seeing the economic destruction caused by a year of
shutdowns, what do you think our country would look like after 5 to 10 years of
shutdowns? That was the plan, and to call the plan Hell on Earth would
perhaps be the greatest understatement ever made.
The “virus” never needed a vaccine, but the “Pandemic” did
because so many people are so cowardly. Nothing makes brainwashing easier
than cowardice.
THE LAND OF THE FREE THE HOME OF THE BRAVE
The brave made this country free.
The brave keep this country free.
Everyone else wore a MASK and lined up for poison.
SHAME ON YOU! If you wore a mask and knelt at the altar
of Fauci and accepted the “vaccines” as your new Lord and Savior:
You need to repent. You need to ask God and your
fellow Americans to forgive you for turning your back on God and on us and on
OUR REPUBLIC which is UNDER ATTACK by the psychopathic predators who are behind
ALL the madness America has been suffering.
The “vaccines” are KILLING PEOPLE. You got TRICKED and
DECEIVED by The DECEIVER, and until you repent and speak out against it YOU are
helping KILL PEOPLE.
IF you repent and ask God to forgive you He WILL save your
body temple from what you have submitted it too. No amount of poison from
the enemy can harm you if God has a reason to prevent it from harming you: But
YOU have to ASK. God didn’t intend to make robots, and as such YOU have
FREE WILL.
The UNVACCINATED Will Be
HUNTED Like ANIMALS: Click Here
TRUMP TRIED EVERYTHING FIRST
He made his choice of prophylactics entirely clear. Ad
nauseum.
What did the Global-Corporate Media do with that
information?
He made his views on MASKS entirely clear: By virtually
NEVER WEARING ONE (except when it actually made sense which is virtually
never).
He VERY publicly demonstrated his full recovery, which at
age 74 took an entire weekend.
TRUMP HAD TO LEAD VIA ACTIONS BECAUSE THE
GLOBAL-CORPORATE MEDIA TWISTS AND WEAPONIZES HIS EVERY WORD
We have learned a lot about who our real enemies are lately
haven’t we?
Now they’re coming with “Climate Change”.
Know what “Covid Lockdowns” and “Climate Lockdowns” have in
common?
Here’s a hint:
They aren’t about Covid and they aren’t about the Climate: They
are about the LOCKDOWNS.
DO NOT FALL FOR IT AGAIN

On This 4th of July, Biden Admin Preps for War Against
“Domestic Terrorism” — and It Could Include You
We
The People target of Biden War on Terror
By Matt Agorist
July 4, 2021
THE
FREE THOUGHT PROJECT [H/T: SeaShell
Comment]
As Americans don their red, white and blue sequence
bar-b-que aprons and raise their flags, ironically made in China, in an effort
to “celebrate their freedom,” government is plotting away this very second to
find ways to separate you from that freedom. While all recent presidents have
made moves to achieve this very goal, under the guise of fighting domestic
terrorism, the Biden administration has ramped it up — big time.
Despite the largely benign nature of the January 6 riot at
the capitol, over the last six months, president Joe Biden has classified this
unarmed group of rioters as the largest threat against democracy in history,
issued DHS
warnings, ramped up security, and turned Washington D.C. into
a police state.
Despite Joe Biden running on a platform of unity to bring
Americans back together, before he was even sworn in, he reneged on this
promise by alienating tens of millions of Trump supporters — essentially
declaring them the enemy.
“Don’t dare call them protesters,” Biden said after the
largely peaceful march on DC which ended with a few hundred goons out of tens
of thousands of peaceful protesters raiding the capitol. “They were a riotous
mob. Insurrectionists. Domestic terrorists. It’s that basic. It’s that simple.”
While some of the folks certainly thought they were part of
some coup, the reality of the situation was nothing at all as serious as the
media and establishment has reported since. Nevertheless, the police state
advocates are not letting this opportunity go to waste and are milking it for
everything they can.
As we reported earlier this
month, Biden’s administration announced their plans to create
a means of family and friends to snitch on each other — to fight the largely
non-existent threat of domestic terrorism.
In a teleconference, a senior administration official
told reporters of a plan that sounds reminiscent of the Minority Report by
attacking “pre-crime.”
“We will work to improve public awareness of federal
resources to address concerning or threatening behavior before violence
occurs,” the official said.
The official went on to explain how this would work, which
involves family members and friends snitching on each other.
We will work to improve public
awareness of federal resources to address concerning or threatening behavior
before violence occurs. And on that, I would just note that one of the
things we’re talking about is the need to do something in this space, like the
“See something” — “If you see something, say something” concept that has been
promulgated previously by DHS. This involves creating contexts in
which those who are family members or friends or co-workers know that there are
pathways and avenues to raise concerns and seek help for those who they have
perceived to be radicalizing and potentially radicalizing towards violence.
***
“We are investing many agencies
of the government and resourcing them appropriately and asking our citizens to
participate,” the official said. “Because, ultimately, this is really about
homeland security being a responsibility of each citizen of our country to help
us achieve.”
Fast forward to last week, and the Biden administration
announced “with a sense of urgency” an actual app that police will use to
coordinate with the feds to track and monitor these real time reports.
Once the app is ready, “you can, if you’re a cop on the
beat, get those sorts of FOUO [For Official Use Only] products from your
federal partners on your phone,” said the senior White House
official told McClatchy.
In true militaristic fashion, the official compared fighting
to domestic extremism to being at war. “Frankly, that’s where it should be — it
should be at the fingertips of those on the front lines of this.”
While there are certainly several very small groups of
people willing to carry out violence against the US to achieve their means, the
idea that there is some massive insurrection pining away, waiting to take over
the government, is laughable. Nevertheless, the scope of what is considered
“extremism” continues to widen.
Committees are being formed, laws are being passed, and a
new era of “Patriot Act” America is rising as the establishment exploits the
January 6 events to usher in a new level of totalitarianism.
Congress
is seeking is a domestic version of the Patriot Act’s
material-support provision, which criminalizes providing material support to a
designated foreign terrorist organization. “Support” is a broadly interpreted
term which could include participation in propaganda activities, civil protest,
fundraising, even group membership—with no requirement to show any connection
to furthering terrorism. This could encompass tens of millions of Americans.
Despite a slew of laws criminalizing domestic terrorism,
many within Washington continue to push for even more. This is worrisome to
civil rights advocates, who argue that increasing legislation means increasing
the number of people who could be labeled as potential domestic terrorists.
“Such a law is not needed given the broad reach of existing
criminal statutes,” Mara Rudman,
executive vice president for policy at the Center for American Progress, says. “It will not solve the problem of
domestic extremism and is likely to lead to unintended harms. … As lawmakers
explore options for cracking down on these lawless and hateful acts, they
should take care to ensure that the solutions do not create new risks for the
communities they are trying to protect.”
“History is replete with examples of such laws being
weaponized and used against vulnerable citizens, especially Black Americans,
and against individuals who criticize the government,” Rudman said.
Indeed, all totalitarian regimes throughout history have
successfully come to power by convincing their citizens to fear and turn
against anyone who criticizes the almighty state. By continuously attacking
what can and can’t be said about one’s government, all form of political
dissent is eventually outlawed and even thinking about it becomes a crime.
Rather than create a new era of Stasi-esque legislation and
enforcement, those who truly want to seek a peaceful resolution, would do well
to understand what it is people are angry about and seek to address it —
instead of outlawing it.
After all, as John F. Kennedy famously said in 1962, “Those
who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution
inevitable.”
Happy Independence Day.

Democrat Mandated COVID-19 Lockdowns Caused More Deaths
Instead Of Reducing Them, RAND study finds
July 4, 2021
The Democrat media complex was an accomplice to this mass
murder.
COVID-19 lockdowns caused more deaths instead of reducing them,
RAND study finds
By: Michael McKenna, June 30, 2021 Washington
Times:
COVID-19 lockdowns caused more deaths instead of reducing
them, study finds
Those who pushed ‘shelter in place’ policies share the
blame, but everyone feels the consequences
ANALYSIS/OPINION:
As we begin to pick through the rubble of the early days
of the coronavirus that started in Wuhan in an effort to determine with some
specificity the origins of COVID-19, and whether it was accidentally or
purposefully released from a Chinese lab, it is important, too, that we assess
the wisdom of our public health approaches to the disease.
Chief among those approaches was the institution of
lockdowns across a broad range of populations.
The pathologies of the lockdowns are clear and have been
both predicted and recorded. They include increased risk of preventable deaths
from cancer, heart disease, etc., as well as psychological trauma, resulting in
increased homicides, accidents and suicidal ideations, caused by long periods
of isolation.
What is less clear is whether the lockdowns served any
useful medical purpose.
Fortunately, two researchers at the RAND Corporation and
two researchers from the University of Southern California have done an
analysis of the medical value of the lockdowns (which they refer to as
“sheltering in place,” or SIP, policies). They looked at 43 countries and all
of the states in the union, and published their assessment in June as a working
paper of the National Bureau for Economic Research.
Shelter-in-place orders didn’t save lives during the pandemic, research paper
concludes
You may have missed the report. It has not received much
coverage from the media, who must be busy with some incredibly important and
hard-hitting story about Dr. Anthony Fauci or the first lady.
Let’s remedy that oversight.
The RAND/USC team is unsparingly direct: “[W]e fail to
find that SIP policies saved lives. To the contrary, we find a positive
association between SIP policies and excess deaths. We find that following the
implementation of SIP policies, excess mortality increases.”
So, the lockdowns didn’t reduce the number of deaths,
failed to prevent any excess deaths, and in fact resulted in increased deaths.
Additionally, countries that locked their citizens in
their homes were experiencing declining — not increasing — excess mortality
prior to lockdowns. In other words, lockdowns probably made the situation
worse.
The researchers were again direct. “If SIP were
implemented when excess deaths were rising then the results … would be biased
towards finding that SIP policies lead to excess deaths. However, we find the
opposite: countries that implemented SIP policies experienced a decline in
excess mortality prior to implementation compared to countries that did not
implement SIP policies.”
Moreover, unless you lived on an island, it did not seem
to make any difference when the lockdowns were implemented. They were
ineffectual at best and led to increased mortality at worst.
From the study: “It is also possible that the average
effects in our event studies might hide heterogeneity (differences) in the
impact of policies across countries and U.S. states. For example, SIP policies
might be more effective when implemented early in the pandemic or SIP policies
might work better when community transmission is high. … Overall, we find
little evidence of heterogenous effects except that SIP policies seem to be
more effective in island nations or … Hawaii.”
Finally, there was no advantage to locking down early or
staying locked down longer. The researchers noted: “We failed to find that
countries or U.S. states that implemented SIP policies earlier, and in which
SIP policies had longer to operate, had lower excess deaths than countries/U.S.
states that were slower to implement SIP policies.”
So, the duration of the lockdowns made no difference.
The simple fact is that COVID-19 was and is a highly
infectious respiratory disease to which everyone is eventually going be exposed
either naturally or through vaccines. The disease tends to kill older people
and those with preexisting respiratory challenges or who are obese.
The RAND/USC study makes it clear that all the lockdowns
accomplished was to add personal, psychological and economic devastation to the
terrible personal and societal toll of illness and death.
Everyone involved — from President Trump and his public
health advisers who initiated the first lockdown (remember “15 days to slow the
spread”), right on through to those who continue to insist that isolation for
everyone, even those not at risk, is the correct course of action — share the blame.
But all of us share the consequences.
