Obama’s Disgust for Christianity Observed in NDAA

Militant atheists and Americans that believe themselves to be Christians yet demand that Christianity be removed from the Public Realm are degrading American Culture. The Founding Fathers – even those devoted to Deism – acknowledged Christianity or at the very least Christian principles, to be the center of beneficial laws under a government.

I received an email from Mathew Staver of the Liberty Counsel pertaining to a militant atheist that is a Christian-Hater in particular. Stave informs that atheist Mikey Weinstein is a huge influence on President Barack Hussein Obama. What a surprise, right?

There is some bipartisan agreement to add an amendment to the next National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) which will allow members of the Military the Religious Freedom of expression that all civilian Americans enjoy under the First Amendment (OR DO WE?).

Guess who is strongly opposing this Religious Freedom Amendment as part of the NDAA? If you read my posts you have probably made the correct guess that President Barack Hussein Obama is resisting the Religious Freedom Amendment to the NDAA. According Mat Staver it is Mikey Weinstein that is exerting advice on how to resist Religious Liberty in the United States Military. However, there is a history of Obama Administration extricating Religious Freedom out of our Military. Ted Starnes has an article in Townhall.com entitled, “Groups Say Religious Liberty in Military is in Danger”.

Starnes writes about the Religious Freedom Amendment, Obama’s opposition to it, lists a short list of Anti-Christian rules imposed on Servicemen and the twelve Groups (including Liberty Counsel) that are engaging with Congress to make sure Religious Freedom is available in the Military.

The amendment was authored by Rep. John Fleming, R-La. It would have “required the Armed Forces to accommodate ‘actions and speech’ reflecting the conscience, moral, principles or religious beliefs of the member.”

The Obama Administration said the amendment would have a “significant adverse effect on good order, discipline, morale, and mission accomplishment.”

If Leftists, Democrats and Separation Church-State secularists don’t see this as a war on Christianity they either lying or are ignorant. Now that I think of it probably both lying and ignorant.

This is crazy and unconstitutional. Activist Living Constitution Judges and Justices have brought America to this point in which Christianity is slowly being stripped out of the fabric of America. Christian Morality is what has made America great and exceptional. Without Christianity ceases to be exceptional.

Atheists and Democrats believe they have hit the nail on the head when they propagandize that the majority of the Founding Fathers were not Christians because they were Deists – minions of the Enlightenment that did not regard the supernatural of any religion let alone Christianity.

The haters of Christianity fail to inform that Deists in America differed from Deists in Europe and France in particular. French Deists were as close to being atheists without denying the existence of religion completely. American Deists contrarily and in the majority had a high regard for the principle inherent in Christianity that contributed societal morality and civil order.

See what you can glean from some Founding Fathers involve the Declaration of Independence, the writing of the Constitution and the ratification of the Constitution. Consider some these quotes in no particular order from the Founding Fathers:

I should include George Washington and the other signers of the Constitution sent to be ratified by the States that eventually created the United States of America; however Jefferson, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton and Jay were influential in the establishment and early interpretation of the Constitution. Jefferson was actually away representing the Articles of Confederation government as Ambassador to France and had no actual hand in what was in the Constitution other than his friendship with James Madison. The point though is this: The Constitutional Framers regardless of their affinity to Christianity either as a traditional Believer or as a Deist asserted that Christianity was essential to the formation of the USA and Christianity would be basis of virtuous and moral foundation for Society and government.

According to his own organization, the so-called Military Religious Freedom Foundation, “Mikey Weinstein is the undisputed leader of the national movement to restore the obliterated wall separating church and state in the most technologically lethal organization ever created by humankind: the United States armed forces.”

Mikey Weinstein is also responsible for publishing some of the most vile and abusive rhetoric used against American Christians, particularly those serving in the military. He has access to the Pentagon and is shaping President Obama’s anti-religion policy there.

Don’t let the bogus name Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) fool you. What Mikey Weinstein wants is freedom FROM religion, particularly in the United States military. 

I don’t need to characterize Weinstein to you. Instead, his own words tell you everything you need to know about this dangerous anti-Christian activist.  

In response to the Religious Liberties Amendment being appended to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) – a measure Liberty Counsel is strongly supporting – Weinstein said this on his MRFF website… 

“This danger [to our troops] is not a “jihad” of exotic, international origin. Quite on the contrary, it is a homegrown Holy War emanating from belligerent fundamentalist Christian bigots in government who delight in fancying themselves as the prodigiously proselytizing foot-soldiers of a modern-day ‘Crusade.’ The latest vicious whirlwind imperiling our service members, and consequently our national security, comes in a two-pronged effort to implant “Religious Freedom” amendments in the 2014 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

Weinstein is outspokenly against any Christian influence whatsoever on our military.  One recent MRFF headline reads, “‘Drones for Christ’: The Horrifying Prospects of Merging Church & State in the U.S. Military,” and the body of the article demonizes Liberty University’s cutting-edge aviation programs….

“Liberty bills itself as ‘one of America’s top military-friendly schools.’ It trains chaplains for the various branches of the military. And it trains pilots in its School of Aeronautics (SOA) – pilots who go up in planes and drone pilots who sit behind desks wearing pilot suits… Liberty has been turning out ‘Christ-centered aviators’ for a decade… [This] starkly illustrates the immense gravity of MRFF's mission.”

The MRFF mission is clear:  To demean and belittle people of faith while promoting a religion-free military and destroying the First Amendment rights of our servicemen and women.

It’s clear he is a vicious anti-Christian blowhard, but just how influential is Mikey Weinstein? 

According to the Huffington post, in a recent demonstration of his personal power, Weinstein called the Pentagon and demanded that the Air Force remove a painting from one of their offices entitled “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”  He gave them one hour to comply and in 56 minutes the painting was gone.

In 2012, Weinstein was declared one of the “100 Most Influential People in U.S. Defense” by Defense News. Weinstein also won the “Person of the Year” award from Americans United for Separation of Church and State in 2011.

++Weinstein’s mission is now Barack Obama’s mission.

Mikey Weinsten’s influence in the administration’s military policy making is one of the major reasons why the Religious Liberties Amendment must be passed in the Senate! 

Service members turning to God and relying on their faith for personal strength in times of danger is a practice as old as mankind itself, yet our President has deemed that expressions of faith somehow undermine “good order” in the military!

We are calling for the Senate to pass the Religious Liberties Amendment as proposed by Senator Mike Lee (R-UT) and Ted Cruz (R-TX), amending the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).
