I am certain loads of more information will surface about the Islamic terrorists Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev as the next few days’ progress. Until then here are some links that summarize the info I have perused.

Tsarnaev brothers’ parents believe they were innocent and somehow set up:

Page 2 WaPo – Father believes sons were a part of set-up; Ma and Pa left USA back to Russian Republic of Dagestan; Pa was ill and Ma investigated for shop lifting; more background on Tsarnaev brothers:

Page 3 WaPo – Tamerlan married to American Katherine Russell age 26; Previous Tamerlan girlfriend complained of assault and Tamerlan was charged; Wife Katherine began dressing in traditional Muslim female garb and acted the good Muslim by rarely going out; Dzhokhar graduated from High School in 20011 and was the captain of his wrestling team. Dzhokhar was attending college at UMass; apparently an avid skateboarder with the intention of becoming a dentist; Tsarnaev brothers’ uncle Ruslan Tsarni is a Muslim that proclaims shame for carnage perpetrated by his nephews; Ruslan sticks up for his brother and father of Tsarnaev terrorist brothers by asserting that Anzor Tsarnaev had little influence over his sons:

Chechnya connections build picture of Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev- The Guardian - 19 April 2013 18.11 EDT

The Tsarnaev family moved to Dagestan, a Muslim republic neighbouring Chechnya, sometime between 1999 and 2001. According to his page on the Russian social network VKontakte, the younger Tsarnaev attended School Number One in Makhachkala, Dagestan's capital. Irina Bandurina, an administrator at the school, said Tsarnaev studied there in 2001, after moving from Kyrgyzstan, and left for the United States in 2002.

The family appears to have settled in Cambridge, Massachusetts. But according to US law enforcement officials cited by the Wall Street Journal, the two brothers arrived separately: one with his parents in 2002, the other in 2004. The officials said that one or both of the brothers had returned to the Caucasus for some time after emigrating to the US.

Tamerlan is thought to have spent around six months of last year out of the US, during which time he saw his father in Dagestan. Anzor Tsarnaev told the New York Times that during the visit he and his son "went to Chechnya to visit relatives".

Authorities in Chechnya, in the midst of a massive campaign to show that life in the republic has normalised despite a continuing low-level insurgency, harshly denied any links to the brothers. "Any attempt to make a link between Chechnya and the Tsarnaevs, if found guilty, is in vain," the republic's leader, Ramzan Kadyrov, wrote on Instagram on Friday. "They grew up in the US, their views and beliefs were formed there. The roots of evil must be searched for in America."

Yet the brothers left internet evidence that showed their deep ties to the republic. The last entry on Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's page on VKontakte, posted on 19 March, shows a video of his brother humorously imitating various accents from the region, in fluent Russian. It shows that among the three groups to which he belongs are "Chechen's" and "Chechnya: Everything about the Chechen Republic".

Tamerlan Tsarnaev's links run even deeper. A YouTube account that appears to have been run by the elder Tsarnaev includes a playlist devoted to Timur Mutsuraev, a Chechen singer now in exile who sang of the republic's battle for freedom from Russia. His account also includes a playlist devoted to "terrorism", including one video in English entitled "The Emergence of Prophecy: The Black Flags from Khorasan". He also maintained a playlist devoted to Islam.

Chechnya's separatist cause struck Tamerlan Tsarnaev deeply, according to a report by photographer Johannes Hirn, who profiled the young Chechen when he was training for a boxing match in 2010. One caption in the report reads: "Unless his native Chechnya becomes independent, Tamerlan says he would rather compete for the United States than for Russia." The elder Tsarnaev fought for a while as a competitive boxer, taking time off from his studies at Bunker Hill community college in Charleston, Massachusetts.

The report also shows him to have been very religious, and poorly integrated in the US. According to Hirn's report, the Chechen once said: "I don't have a single American friend, I don't understand them." Read in Entirety

Boston Bomb Suspect's Dad Learns of Son's Capture: 'Tell Police Everything' - ABC News - April 19, 2013

Anzorf Tsarnaev

The father of a suspected Boston Marathon bomber started to cry when ABC News told him that his son had been captured alive.

"Thank God," Anzor Tsarnaev said, speaking in Russian, thanking ABC News for relaying word that his son, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was in custody and alive.

Asked what he wanted to tell his son, Anzor Tsarnaev said, "Tell police everything. Everything. Just be honest."

Tsarnaev spoke to ABC News on more than one occasion today from his home in Makhachkala, the capital of Dagestan, Russia, as Boston police carried out an intense dragnet for his son.

The elder Tsarnaev, in a series of conversations with ABC News, insisted his sons were innocent, but said he would appeal to his son to "surrender peacefully."

"Give up. Give up. You have a bright future ahead of you. Come home to Russia," the dad said.

The father warned, however, "If they killed him, then all hell would break loose."

"If they kill my second child, I will know that it is an inside job, a hit job. The police are to blame," the father told ABC News. "Someone, some organization is out to get them."

Anzor Tsarnaev said that his sons were "set up" and that they are "very nice kids" who have no experience with weapons and explosives.

The father said his two daughters, ages 22 and 24, live in the U.S. One lives in West New York, N.J.

Boston Bomb Suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Clings to Life – ABC News - April 20, 2013

The man whose brief life on the lam paralyzed Boston clung to life today as investigators waited for a chance to ask him why he and his brother attacked the Boston Marathon.

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19, was in Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center today. It is the same hospital where Tsarnaev's older brother Tamerlan, 26, was brought early Friday after a shootout with police. Tamerlan died of his wounds.

A hospital spokesperson said early this morning that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was still alive, however the FBI asked they give no updates on his condition.

Police believe Dzhokhar Tsarnaev he was initially wounded Thursday night in the gunbattle that killed his brother. Police said they found blood in a car he abandoned and blood at a house. Police said he went undetected by the massive manhunt because he had managed to get just one block outside the search perimeter.

It is unclear whether Tsarnaev was hit again during a final volley before his arrest in the boat.

Investigators -- who are expected to be the country's elite counterterror unit -- are hoping that Tsarnaev survives because they are intent on determining what triggered the shocking attack and whether he had any help. The bombing killed three, including a young boy, and wounded about 170. An MIT security officer was allegedly killed by the duo on Wednesday night and a Boston transit cop was badly wounded in a subsequent shootout.

A senior Justice Department official told ABC News that federal law enforcement officials are invoking the public safety exception to the Miranda rights, so that Tsarnaev will be questioned immediately without having Miranda rights issued to him. Read Entirety
