Weekly Update: CUFI Event Protested by pro-Palestinian students at…

Nazi Palestine
Christians United for Israel (CUFI) has sent an email that is both an ad for the upcoming conference in Washington DC and information on how Muslim Apologists and Pro-Palestinians utilize anti-Semitism and Jew-Hatred to promote anti-Israel hatred in order to establish a sovereign State to be known as Palestine. If this “Palestine” is actually allowed to come into fruition, what do you think its biggest export product will be? Of all the possible answers you could think the primary answer is the destruction of Israel, the second Holocaust of driving Jews into the sea and the usurping of Jewish Israel via conquest for a greater Palestine for a bunch of Arabs that have latched onto a so-called Palestinian identity that never existed until about 1967 after Arabs lost territory in an invasion of Israel.

Here is the CUFI email that culminates with some links of interest for defenders of Israel.

Weekly Update: CUFI Event Protested by pro-Palestinian students at Portland State University, ABC station in Columbus, GA airs a 2 part report on CUFI and more...

“IS THERE NOT A CAUSE” 1Samuel 17:29

·         The Drudge Report stated that “Iran boasts US has abandoned Israel!’”

·         Abbas rejects Netanyahu’s proposal to renew peace talks!

·         61% of Egyptians want to annul peace treaty with Israel.

·         Thousands of Palestinian protesters take part in rock-throwing riots in the West Bank, Gaza and neighboring Arab countries demonstrating against Israel’s Independence Day!

·         Swastikas deface CUFI on Campus pro-Israel banners.

·         Erick Stakelbeck protested by pro-Palestinian students and teachers at Portland State University CUFI meeting in support of Israel.

How much more must we see before we too declare as David…“Is there not a cause?”

David acknowledged Goliath’s threat to Israel; he did not ignore it!

When mocked by his peers that his motive was self-rewarding, David took a bold stand and pledged to fight the giant Philistine!

David declared, “The Lord that delivered me out of the paw of the lion, and out of the paw of the bear, he will deliver me out of the hand of this Philistine.”

We MUST take a stand for Israel and the Jewish people this summer like never before. We MUST do all we can to attend the CUFI Washington Summit, July 16-18.

I know economic times are hard…I know that many of you take your hard earned vacation to come to Washington…I know the sacrifices that must be made to show support for Israel and the Jewish people in this crisis hour!

I also know that it will make a difference! I also know that the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will bless you for blessing Israel with your support and participation.

CUFI Event Protested by Pro-Pals

Although CUFI chapters across the country are accustomed to resistance, the pure hatred which faced the CUFI on Campus chapter at Portland State University during a recent event demonstrates the shocking levels of anti-Semitism simmering just underneath the surface on many of America’s leading universities.

On May 14, 2012 CUFI students at Portland State University hosted a “Stand With Israel” event where CBN correspondent and terrorism analyst Erick Stakelbeck addressed a crowd of nearly 150 students and community members on “Terrorism, Israel, and the US”.

As the event approached, over 50 promotional flyers posted by the chapter disappeared or were defaced by anti-Israel activists, forcing the CUFI students to constantly repost flyers throughout the sprawling campus. Then, on Friday, a student made a shocking discovery: someone had scrawled a Nazi Swastika, as well as pro-Palestinian slogans, over a picture of the Star of David on several of the flyers.

This disgusting act of hatred lead to a swarm of coverage by local media outlets including a report on the  local ABC [SlantRight Editor: Actually it is a local CBS affiliate] as well as CBN and TheBlaze.com following a blog post written by Erick Stakelbeck.  That same day, the CUFI on Campus chapter was notified that anti-Israel groups on campus were planning to protest the event.  Despite the continued opposition, the chapter moved forward with the event as planned. We are thrilled to share with you a two-part series about our Georgia Pastors Leadership Tour to Israel  that aired on  the ABC-affiliate in Columbus, Georgia last Thursday and Friday evenings during the local news.
The first part focused on the Christian connection to the land and the Christian holy sites we visited.
The second part
focused on the security threats facing Israel and the Israeli military experts and soldiers we met.

About Christians United for Israel

Statement of Purpose

The purpose of Christians United For Israel (CUFI) is to provide a national association through which every pro-Israel church, parachurch organization, ministry or individual in America can speak and act with one voice in support of Israel in matters related to Biblical issues.

Past, Present, and Future

Israel is in peril. The President of Iran has threatened to wipe Israel off the map and he's rapidly acquiring the nuclear technology with which to make good on this threat. In the meantime, Iran's proxies in Hezbollah and Hamas are arming themselves at an alarming rate, and Hamas has been firing missiles into Southern Israel.

Millions of Christians across America have a deep love for Israel and the Jewish people and want to stand with them during these difficult days. Yet, until recently, pro-Israel Christians were divided and often silent. They limited their support of Israel to prayers and charitable donations.

In February, 2006, over 400 Christian leaders from across the country flew to San Antonio, Texas to join Pastor John Hagee in determining how the Christian world should respond to the ongoing threats to Israel. By the end of the day, the group had decided to launch a national grassroots movement focused on support of Israel and the Jewish people. Christians United for Israel was born.

Since that date, READ THE REST
