Prophecy Update is an excellent website that posts media articles that are slanted toward current events in a Christian perspective. Prophecy Update archives an e-newsletter at its InJesus site which you can explore HERE.
Today I am cross posting some articles that relate to Iran and its nuclear program which unless you are duped moron is actually a nuclear weapons program.
One thing I noticed which I found interesting is some further information I missed concerning President Barack Hussein Obama’s new nuclear WMD engagement strategy. I have been listening to my fellow critics of the strategy which includes a non-retaliation policy of signatories of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). This means if an NPT signatory was responsible for another form of a WMD attack then America would not retaliate with nuclear warheads. An example of a non-nuclear attack could a first strike with chemical WMD. Those that disagree with the non-retaliation strategy feel this weakens our military strength in deterring all forms of foreign first strike capabilities.
Now this is what I found interesting. The non-retaliation strategy is relevant toward signatories; it is not relevant toward non-signatories. Therefore rogue nations like Iran and North Korea can be targets of nuclear retaliation for any kind of first strike attack. In the Prophecy Update excerpts for April 11 you will notice that Ahmadinejad and the Iranian Shi’ite big dog Ayatollah Khamenei are hopping mad.
As much as I do not like the rest of BHO’s nuclear strategy, the concept of creating a list of non-signatory nations that are open to a nuclear WMD response is brilliant.
