Divided 9th Circuit upholds God in Pledge of Allegiance
Incredible! The U.S. 9th Circuit Appellate Court (Hello – California) has made a ruling that was in favor of God Almighty. Hard to believe is it not?
Well really they didn’t rule in favor of God, the 9th Circuit made a 2-1 split decision tossing atheist Michael Newdow’s civil suit charging the words “under God” are unconstitutional in the Pledge of Allegiance.
The Supreme Court spanked the 9th Circuit in 2002 over a similar issue. Also President GW Bush succeeded in getting a Justice Appointee confirmed by the Senate. The result: legal mumbo jumbo to keep “under God” in the Pledge.
The 9th Circuit also validated “In God We Trust” on US money.
