Most people in America have at least heard of the existence of “Palestinian Refugees.” Unfortunately most Americans are unaware of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). If an American has to make a guess they would merely say it’s some kind of benevolence organization of the United Nations.
Ironically most Americans would be unaware that the UNRWA is a specific to the refugees created by the invasion of 5 (or so) invading Arab armies that attempted to obliterate Israel’s existence when independence was achieved in 1948. The Muslim and Arab world could not accept a Jewish State and an Arab State created bilaterally from the old Palestine Mandate that had been managed by the British since 1917.
The surrounding Arab nations’ solution was to obliterate Jewish Israel (meaning another holocaust three years after WWII) and then carve up the old Palestine Mandate between the invading Arab nations. There was no intention to allow the creation of even a Muslim State of Palestine.
If the Arabs were truly caring about the Arabs that were displaced by the first Israeli/Arab war of 1948, the land retained by Syria, Transjordan (now Jordan) and Egypt would have been turned into an Arab State called Palestine. Rather Syria controlled the Golan Heights, Jordan controlled what is now called the West Bank (or ironically Occupied Territory) and Egypt already controlling the Sinai acquired the little Gaza Strip. Then Muslim nations intended to keep the refugees displaced to have an excuse to keep attempting to obliterate Israel. Obliteration is exactly what the surrounding Muslims continued to intend with the last war of invading Israel in 1973. There have been several Israel pre-emptive and responding invasions since 1973. The Muslim nations lost their cajones and have not invaded Israel since 1973. Here we are in 2009 with Iran’s nuclear ambitions coupled with open threats of Israeli obliteration have re-awakened the possibility of an Israeli/Muslim war.
In the midst of all this Arab and Muslim hate for Israel and Jews in general the UN, EU and America have insisted the Israeli perform existential actions of giving up Gaza, Judea and Samaria (known outside of Israel as the West Bank) which includes a part of the Israeli capital of Jerusalem.
Honest Reporting shows how crazy the foolishness of believing the propaganda of the self-victimization of dar al-Islam. The UNRWA has become nothing but a tool of the hate Israel crowd of Muslims that would rather add legitimacy to a terrorist State called Palestine which will be ruled by rival terrorist thug organizations that will perpetuate the Arab and Muslim desire to obliterate Israel.
