O Jerusalem

The European Union (EU) has decided to impose its multiculturalist sympathies for Arab terrorists that call themselves Palestinians. The EU has decided to meddle in Israel’s sovereignty by declaring the West Bank (Judaea and Samaria to Israel), Gaza and the formerly Jordanian occupied portion of Jerusalem to be formed into a Palestinian State. In the EU’s estimation the formerly Jordanian occupied portion of Jerusalem will become East Jerusalem and the capital of Palestine.
Evidently it is politically incorrect to do to the Arabs what the Turks did to the Greeks and what the Islamic Middle East did to Jews.
Greeks had been basically brutally oppressed by Ottoman Turks since the Muslim conquest of the Byzantine Empire in the fifteenth century. Greece finally found liberation from the oppressive grip of Muslim Ottoman Turkey in 1832. The Allies won World War I in 1918. The Ottoman Empire was a part of the defeated enemies which included the now defunct Austro-Hungary Empire and the Germany of Kaiser Wilhelm. The Greeks were enticed by Britain to invade the defeated Ottoman Empire as incentive for the Ottoman government to fulfill all of the peace treaty that it had signed with the Allies. So it went in 1919 the Greeks invaded Ottoman Turkey to reclaim her heritage. The half-a-million or so Turks that remarkably still resided in free Greece began to feel the heat of centuries of abuse toward Greeks. Unfortunately for Greece, British military support did not actually come. The Greek forces met defeat after defeat. By 1922 Ataturk was the big dog in Turkey as the Ottoman Sultanate and Muslim Caliphate were eventually abolished. Ataturk’s terms of winning the war with Greece was the forced deportation of Greeks that resided in Anatolia for thousands of years. I am convinced the Turkish fear was an independent Greece invading Turkey again to reclaim its heritage. With the millions of Greeks residing in Anatolia Turkey, the Muslim Turks feared a Trojan horse in their midst. Over a million Greeks faced death or deportation. Deportation was not a pleasant experience under Turkish management.
After Israel declared independence in 1948 and withstood 5 invading Arab nations (and a few independent armies), Middle Eastern Muslim nations confiscated the property of nearly million Jews and deported them to Israel. It is the height of hypocrisy that Arabs stick to the much publicized propaganda of the “Right of Return.” The EU and America (Democrats and Republicans) have embraced this mythological propaganda. It is an atrocity comparable to promoting the myth of the Russian created documents of the Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Those pure anti-Semitic documents paint Jews in a bloody light determined to have global domination. Of course that is another Muslim hypocrisy because the authentic documents called the Quran, Hadith, Sira and Sunna promote global domination under Islamic Supremacy.
One has to ask, “Why is the EU mentality so bent on accommodating Islamic domination?” I think the answer lies between economics and the egalitarian concepts multicultural diversity.
OneJerusalem.org sent an email pertaining to this atrocity a couple of days ago. OneJerusalem.org also asks for funds in the email to counter the pressure of the EU nations.

European Union Officially Calls for Division of Jerusalem

Dear Friend of Jerusalem,
As we have reported, the European Union's movement against a free and united Jerusalem has resulted in a formal declaration that Jerusalem should be divided.
The EU states, "The Council recalls that it has never recognized the annexation of East Jerusalem. If there is to be a genuine peace, a way must be found through negotiations to resolve the status of Jerusalem as the future capital of two states.
The Council calls calls (sic) for the reopening of Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem in accordance with the Road Map. It also calls on the Israeli government to cease all discriminatory treatment of Palestinians in East Jerusalem."
In other words, the future of Jerusalem is officially an international football, and at the end of the game, the Palestinians are to get their wish: To call Jerusalem their capital.
This is an unprecedented intrusion into Israeli affairs. It completely ignores the facts on the ground. Before Israel controlled Jerusalem, Christians and Jews were barred from the Old City. The Jewish Quarter was destroyed and Jews were expelled and many killed.
Under Israeli rule, all people are permitted to live in and visit Jerusalem. Forcing an official Palestinian presence on this situation will cause unnecessary tensions and increase the danger level. Imagine the Field Day that terrorists will have launching attacks on visitors -- right from land in the Old City. Remember the carnage that resulted from the pull-out from Gaza? This will be a disaster.
It will also be a victory of another sort for the Palestinian leaders, like Abbas, who believe that Jews never lived in Jerusalem. They deny the existence of the Jewish Temples. Even under Israeli control, the Palestinians have destroyed thousands of years worth of Christian and Jewish antiquities. Imagine the carnage if they are ever put in control.
It is puzzling that Israel's official response to the EU declaration did not defend a united Jerusalem under the State of Israel. We need to defend a united Jerusalem every opportunity we get.
One Jerusalem is committed to fighting for the defense of Israel's united, undivided capital. To do so, we need your help. Many of you have contributed generously and we thank you. For those who haven't, we ask you to please do so. It is only through your generous contributions that we can continue to to (sic) fight the battle for a united Jerusalem, a battle that we must win.
Sincerely,
Allen Roth & David Goder
