of the disaster a Crooked Hillary would present to the further depreciation of

Trump made a number of promises that I enjoyed hearing but kind of would like
to see the proof of the promised pudding.
The Heritage Foundation is
launching a back to the Constitution agenda which points to an article at the Daily
Signal (a Heritage Foundation apparatus).
Public policy is often exciting and urgent. When a war begins
or ends, when votes are counted in an election, or when a major bill is passed,
everyone senses the magnitude of the event.
Some struggles end and new struggles begin. Consequences
carry far into the future. Compared to this, and especially given the way we
think today, the Constitution seems like a boring subject.
But how do we know whether the public policies we adopt are
good? How do we know whether the results of the election will be happy? How
even do we know if the war we have fought was worth it?
Those questions cannot be answered except by reference to
things that are outside the immediate excitement and even our immediate needs.
These larger and more enduring things cannot be understood
without understanding what we are, how we should live, how best over the long
term we can achieve a good life and be free. Somehow, urgent things have to be
judged in light of ultimate things.
The profoundest example of this is in our famous Declaration
of Independence. The people of America decided to form their own country. It
was an act of rebellion. It would carry a death sentence for many if the
revolution failed, and it did carry that sentence for many in the subsequent
war.
How remarkable that in this urgent moment, they would base
what they did upon the “laws of nature and of nature’s God.” They were looking
upward toward the eternal as they began their battle. That is one of the
essential reasons why they succeeded.
How can we remember to do this kind of thinking, when so
many urgent things press upon us and when hundreds of millions of us participate?
The answer is given best of all in history by the
Constitution of the United States, the partner of the declaration, prefigured
in its middle passages.
The purpose of the Constitution is to ground the government
in the people’s authority. It is also to make both we and our government
thoughtful. “It is our reason alone,” writes James Madison, “that must be
placed in control of the government. Our passions must be controlled by it.”
Under the Constitution, it takes time to do big things: We
must think before we act. The Constitution divides power across the land and
between levels and branches of government; the people and the parts of the
government must cooperate if anything is to be done.
To get a majority, they must give reasons—out loud and in
front of millions. This encourages candor and discourages the rankest forms of
partisanship.
Yes, it is still partisan, but at our best moments we are
better than anywhere else. Moreover, the Constitution limits what we can do to
each other, teaching us self-restraint and independence.
In recent decades, our country has suffered public policy
disasters. We have fought many wars without decisive victory. We have spent
many trillions without removing the problems they were designed to remove. We
have become a great debtor nation with fewer reserves, even if our reserves are
still great.
These facts are connected to the compromising of our
constitutional practices. We have changed the way we make laws. The government
is less accountable, and the laws are more numerous and impossible to
understand.
We have made government more centralized, and so its proper
central functions—especially defense—are starved for resources.
As the government gets bigger, the people get smaller. They
are regulated in their private lives, obstructed when they strive, subsidized
in many cases into failure. This is just what the Constitution was designed to
prevent.
No institution has done more to describe and promote public
policy from the conservative point of view than The Heritage Foundation. It was
born decades ago for specifically this purpose. It has always had an interest
in the Constitution.
Now, it is bringing together all of its efforts relating to
that great document into the Institute for Constitutional Government, launching
Nov. 29, to achieve better focus. As a friend of the Constitution and of
Heritage, I am proud of this.
It can only be good. Our freedom is at stake. We will not
save it without restoring our Constitution.

An Ohio State U student of Muslim Somali decent went on a
stabbing spree yesterday and the Mainstream Media and State officials appear
clueless as to the motive:
On Tuesday, nearly a full day after Islamic
terrorist Abdul Razak Ali Artan ran a car into a group of students and then
hopped out with a butcher’s knife and began hacking away, CNN still can’t uncover a
motive. Here’s CNN’s headline: “Students back in class at Ohio State;
investigators search for knife attack motive.” Ohio Governor John Kasich – OH
GOD NO PLEASE GOD NO NOT JOHN KASICH – has now announced “we may never find
out” why Artan committed this act of terrorism.
I have a hot lead.
Here was Artan’s post just before
entering into a personal jihad against Americans:
Yesterday when I first heard the news that a knife and a car
were involved in the Ohio State rampage, I knew it was going to turn out to be
an Islam-inspired terror attack. I had other duties yesterday afternoon
and figured you didn’t need me to report since there would be so many springing
to action and cable news would eventually report on who the perp was.
With the St.
Cloud mall stabbingfresh on our minds, it was not an earth
shattering revelation when we learned later in the day that the jihadist was a
Somali refugee. And, it is actually very funny this morning to hear CNN
report that there is still no declaration that the Somali Muslim was inspired
by his ‘faith.’

And, if I am not too excited by this latest news from Ohio
maybe it’s because I wrote my first post about Somali refugee “youths” (many of
whom we raised since small children with our tax dollars) turning to the
‘religion of peace’ to become jihadists 8 years ago! (Check this out, I wrote that first post on
November 26th, 2008—almost to the day 8 years ago.)
So tell me (everyone yakking about vetting!), how are we
going to screen the Muslim kids who become radicalized in your town?

Net Daily on the Somali Islamic terror attack yesterday. If
the news is true about his family’s sojourn in Pakistan then it confirms a
point I have been trying to make for a long time—we are picking up Somalis and
other Muslim refugees around the world and thus ‘vetting’ is almost impossible!
The Somali refugee who
stabbed Ohio State University students with a butcher knife Monday praised a
well-known al-Qaida terrorist on his Facebook page minutes before his attack,
yet authorities say they are not ready to assign a motive.
Police shot and killed the man as
he was attacking students outside a science building. Eleven people were
transported to area hospitals with various injuries, according to the Columbus,
Ohio, fire department.
The dead attacker was reportedly an
Ohio State student – an 18-year-old Somali refugee named Abdul Razak Ali Artan, who
left Somalia with his family for Pakistan in 2007 and obtained a green card to
enter the U.S. in 2014. He reportedly lived near campus, CNBC News
reported.

On his Facebook page, Artan posted
a rant about attacks on Muslims.
Appearing three minutes before the
beginning of the rampage, the post reads: “I can’t take it anymore. America!
Stop interfering with other countries, especially the Muslim Ummah. We are not
weak. We are not weak, remember that.”
The post also praised Anwar
Al-Awlaki, a radical American-born al-Qaida cleric, describing him as a “hero.”
Let’s talk about this Pakistan connection (assuming
that information is correct)!
We know using data that is available at Wraps.net that we are
processing in to the US ‘refugees’ from Pakistan, but a large number are
not Pakistanis. And, I have been for years trying to make the point that
when a supposed legitimate asylum seeker (like a Somali who claims to be
somehow persecuted) arrives in a country such as Malta, Malaysia, Australia, or
Pakistan that those so-called ‘refugees’ are not our problem! Those are safe
countries where the migrant should be asking for asylum. (Unless, of course, if
he or she is a Christian arriving in Pakistan!)
We have seen the most clear case of how outrageous a process
this is with the Australia
dealjust in the last few weeks.
Think about this, in the case of Pakistan, a Muslim country,
why are they sending us Somalis and why are we accepting them? You know
they are being processed in to your towns through theUNHCR
office in Pakistan. Can we count on an honest screening process
there? Apparently not, or we wouldn’t have the Ohio State slasher attack
yesterday.

It is a processing country map and see that in the month of October we took in
97 ‘refugees’ through Pakistan.
Then you go to this
mapwhich lists the ‘nationalities’ admitted in October and
you can see that 60 of the 97 were Pakistanis (I sure hope they were all
Christians!). Who are the 37 others (who told the UN they would be
persecuted if sent home) that we admitted via the UN through Pakistan in
October? Somalis like this Ohio slashers family? You can bet some are
Afghans, but who knows? We don’t. The US State Department knows,
but the public doesn’t.
Where is Congress?
The point I am making is that while we yak about
screening Syrians, all over the world we are taking illegal aliens (with
virtually no paperwork) who arrived in some safe (for them) country and
transform them in to ‘refugees’ to be placed in your towns and supported on
your taxpayers’ dime!
Endnote: I am planning a post soon to
counter the lies being told by refugee contractors arriving in new potential
resettlement sites where they tell the community that no refugees in America
have been involved (or have planned) Islamic terror attacks.

A few months ago A year ago, Two, Three years ago, Six years, Seven - Eight years ago it came to our
attention in Washington County MD that a non-profit group (Virginia Council of
Churches) had been bringing refugees into the city of Hagerstown (county seat)
for a couple of years. Some problems arose and citizens started to take an
interest and ask questions about how this federal program works. Our local
paper had no interest in finding the facts, so we decided to find them
ourselves.
One of the many startling things we found out about this very quiet
effort is that these non-profit groups bring to the US on average each year
15,000 (FY90-FY03) Muslim refugees from the Middle East, Africa, the Balkans,
etc, almost completely funded by the US Government through grants and contracts
to these non-government agencies. Of the 168 refugees brought to our county
since 2004, 125 are Muslim. Although we all have sympathy for persecuted and
suffering people there are real questions to be answered about the wisdom of
this policy.
It turns out that there are hotbeds of this refugee resettlement
controversy throughout the US. We have identified some of

Pay attention to the UN “Earth Systems Governance PROJECT”:
I tend not to traffic too much in
the “eco-fascist” theme, preferring to stick more narrowly to the substance of
particular aspects of particular issues like climate change or air
pollution. But sometimes the jackboot fits, and they should have to wear
it.
I have noted at some length
in the Claremont Review of Books a
while ago the openly anti-democratic and pro-authoritarian views of some
eco-alarmists, but that only makes them just like Thomas (China-Is-Awesome)
Friedman, who for some reason is a respected figure. I quote, for
example, a British analyst who said in a press interview a few years back that
“When the chips are down I think democracy is a less important goal than is the
protection of the planet from the death of life, the end of life on it.”
And also two Australian political scientists who wrote, among other things, “To
retain an inhabitable earth we may have to compromise the eternal vicissitudes
of democracy for an informed leadership that directs.” I love that
euphemism “an informed leadership that directs” bit. And who would do the
“informing”? So much for government by consent of the governed.
Perhaps the movie version will be called An Inconvenient Democracy.
Lately I came across a several
months old column from the Sydney Morning Herald that
offers another example of the mendacity of the climate campaign that I can’t
decide is either clueless or just pathetic. Richard Glover wrote:

Epigenetics, the study of how
environmental factors and lifestyle choices influence our genes, has flourished
to become one of the most groundbreaking areas of science over the past decade.
Studies have shown that, among other things, toxins, stress, socio-economic
status, bullying, racism and the lifestyles of our parents and grandparents can all turn on or off certain genes in our
DNA. The field is radically changing how we think about
nature and nurture – giving it an impact far beyond the lab. [This first

epigenetics, just think back through human history. There certainly is no
shortage of war, famine, exploitation, destruction, epidemic and trauma.

that the environment could influence inheritance. Some focused on the fact that

special care, as it was believed that the damage was likely transmitted across

population could be improved if people with traits seen as undesirable could be
stopped from reproducing. Some countries therefore launched eugenics programs
prohibiting certain marriages and supporting forced sterilizations. Those seen
as unfit to pass on their genes typically included people with mental or
physical disabilities. However, such measures became increasingly out of
fashion after World War II (though persisted until 1970s in many Western
countries), as it became associated with Nazi Germany (in truth Nazis learned a

A new day had dawned, and the United States was being given
by God a second chance to right the ship of state.
On the morning Donald Trump won the
presidency, no one was happier than I. It seemed as if a black cloud had been
lifted overhead. I had felt that the nation was overly inhabited not just by
illegal aliens for the last eight years, but in fact had been seized by nearly
every imaginable evil element from “outer space” – inter-stellar Muslims and
black-Muslims, to anarchists, to atheists, to radical anti-male feminists and
radical gay, lesbian and trangender [sic] activists, and last but not least to
socialists and communists. While this may seem like an exaggeration, I felt
that way nevertheless. Making matters worse was the arrogant anti-white,
anti-Semitic and anti-Christian strut and attitude of our current president,
one Barack Hussein Obama, a man so filled with not too disguised disdain,
stoked by his even more hateful wife, Michelle, that I frankly did not feel
welcome in the reshaped country he pursued relentlessly. On my numerous trips
to Washington, D.C., it seemed as if the city had been hijacked and occupied by
every subversive Barack and Michelle Obama could find to further their
anti-American agenda.
Coupled with this was a sick
feeling that should Hillary Clinton have won the presidency – along with her
degenerate husband, Bill, as “First Pervert” and her lovely, criminally minded
daughter, Chelsea, the greaser of the Clinton Foundation – the nation would
surely go down for the count. And, along with the “Three Clinton Criminal
Stooges,” would come the rodent-like felons around them, lowlifes like Harold
Ickes, John Podesta, Cheryl Mills, Terry McAuliffe and many others. It would
have been the end of the United States.

I am supportive of any new
administration Trump constructs, but I am worried that our legal system will
not be fully restored – because in the last 24 years, the lower federal courts
have by and large been stocked with judges, mostly appointed by Presidents
Clinton and Obama, who are political hacks. There a few exceptions, but the
rest are few and far between. Their lack of moral and ethical honesty
regrettably mirror the presidents who appointed them to the bench.
The testament to this is that it
took illegal computer hacks and WikiLeaks to reveal the criminality of the
Clinton crowd in the lead-up to the election, not court orders by the federal
judges who had cases in Washington, D.C., administering to Freedom of
Information Act (FOIA) requests filed not just by me, but also my former group
Judicial Watch, the Associated Press, the Daily Caller and a host of others. By
and large, as I have previously written in my columns, these federal judges,
almost exclusively Clinton and Obama appointees, had slow-rolled years of old
records requests so only a handful of documents, at the Obama-Clinton State
Department in particular, dealing in large part with the felonious Hillary’s
private email server, would be disclosed to the citizenry before the elections.
And, this is why perhaps the most
important task our new president can perform is not just to appoint honest and
principled Supreme Court justices, but lower federal court judges who have the
courage to represent the interests of the American people, not just the
politicians who got them their jobs. But The Donald’s unnecessary recent
pronouncement that his incoming Justice Department will not hold Hillary
Clinton and her accomplices to account for their crimes sends a disquieting
message to lower federal court judges that they can continue to cover up for
the political elite.
So this Thanksgiving weekend let’s
truly thank God that we have a new anti-establishment president, but let us
also pray that he will have the courage to help restore the rule of law in a
country that was intended to be a nation of laws and not men. To this end,
Donald Trump must not only appoint honest judges, but also hold true to his campaign
covenant to have the Clintons prosecuted as the poster boy and girl of a new
legal order, one that fulfills the promise of 1776. For if the Clintons are
allowed to get off scot-free once again, how can we expect these new federal
judges to enforce the law when our chief executive, the one who appointed them,
