Shifting Gear

‘There is one slight complication, you say.  What about all the Israeli Arabs, full citizens of Israel?  Should they be excluded from the workforce too?  Also, they have unrestricted movement.  Should that be taken away somehow from them?
Those who advocate change answer:  If the message for those who want to enter Israel to harm Israelis is “Stay Out,” the message for Israeli Arabs should be “Make Up Your Mind.  You are either full citizens or you wish destroy to your country.”’ – Ari Bussel

"The whole day you are in front of the screen, go out, spend some time with other children!"

Ari Bussel has a message that certainly global Leftists and many American Conservatives might find problematic. Ari’s theme is one of segregation between Jews and violent Jew-hating Muslims. Ari addresses Muslims living in stolen Jewish land called the occupied West Bank by Westerners and Judea and Samaria by understanding Jewish Israelis.

Contrary to Leftists and 1st Amendment Americans, I absolutely concur with Ari Bussel. My sentiment in America, if you want to live here than abide by the U.S. Constitution and our American heritage OR leave or be expelled. Thus Jewish citizens of Israel should have the same self-preservation sentiments toward Jew-hating Muslims whether they are Israeli citizens or work non-Israeli Arab Muslims working in Israel yet seeking the Jewish State’s destruction or the murder of all Jews.

Shifting Gear

According to many, Israel must shift gears, but she has not yet internalized the urgency of her dilemma.

With almost daily attacks against her citizens, in cities throughout Israel, the efforts by the security forces to thwart the violence are not sufficiently successful.

A great deal goes into this endeavor, but Israel has not found an effective enough deterrent against a brainwashed generation, one whose only passion in life is to become martyrs and whose parents dream of nothing else than the children they groomed for this specific task to achieve eternal glory by shedding Jewish blood.

"When I am older, I want to murder Jews!"
"To murder Jews is not a problem to arrange.
But being older, I would not really count."

Here are some of the steps suggested by those who see a policy shift as necessary:

(a) Immediate cessation of employment of Arabs and actionable steps against those employers who employ them illegally.

(b) Restriction of free movement in Judea and Samaria until calm is restored.

(c) Sending a clear and unequivocal message to Israeli Arabs that it is time to decide if their future lies as citizens of the Jewish state or as members of another country.

Presented with the above points, one is astonished to see the similarities between Israel’s dilemmas and future course of action and what is taking place right now in France and elsewhere in Europe.  Yet there such measures are a necessity no one questions, while in Israel anyone daring to think about them is immediately labeled a “hardliner” and worse.

Let us examine these proposed measures.

Arabs from “Palestinian Authority territories” should not be allowed to work in Israel.  It is not a question of “collective punishment,” perhaps just basic common sense.

Tens of thousands Muslim Arabs are permitted to enter Israel every day to work.  Some are issued permits that allow them to sleep in Israel, but most have to return to their homes every day.  All such permits should be revoked.

It was previously presumed that males in their 30s, married with children, who earn twice or more for daily work in Israel, would not engage in terror.  This has been used as a guideline for issuing permits and most recently proven a fallacy in this Intifada.

Apparently, what the West considers “logical” does not apply in this neighborhood, and conversely what is permissible and expected here (e.g. slashing a human being’s throat, murdering parents alongside their very young children or kidnapping and murdering youth because they are Jewish) is utterly incomprehensible in the West.

To stop employing Muslim Arabs, how does one know they are Muslim and not Christian?  Simply – those coming from “Palestinian Authority territories” are Muslim.  Most Christians have been driven out of there, or fled in fear of their life.

To those who call themselves “Palestinians,” much like ISIS, the land must be clean of any “filth” (their term for Jews and Christians and other non-believers), and they have been most effective in achieving this goal.  While we consider a 13 or 16 year-old boy or girl innocent and incapable of any wrongdoing, in the employ of the “Palestinian” society, they have become instruments of death and weapons of terror, and their sole aspiration and existence hinges upon spilling Jewish blood.

At school, there are classrooms named after their friends who became Shahids (martyrs).  Sport fields are also named after them.  At city squares, there are monuments glorifying their achievements.  On TV, radio and the internet, songs and video clips focus on their amazing deeds.  The politicians repeatedly urge duplication of their heroic actions and provide the justification for carrying them out.  In short, the devil’s army looks to the West as innocent children and blameless youth, when in fact, it is weaponized and ready to strike.

An equal or greater number of Muslim “Palestinians” enter Israel without said permits.  To fight this situation, each Israeli employer caught employing Arab workers (who are not Israeli citizens) should be fined to such an extent that it will serve as a deterrent to any and all employers who think that is the way to go.  In Israel, incidentally, “teaching via one’s pocketbook” works tremendously well.  All that is required is intensive enforcement.

Furthermore, say those who are determined to eradicate the current wave of terror, additional steps are necessary.  Not only work permits should be rescinded.  Movement of Arabs in areas not specifically under “Palestinian Authority” rule should be prohibited.  The message should be clear:  As long as your purpose is to murder us, you are not welcome in our midst.

There used to be checkpoints, the vast majority of which has been removed in recent years.  Except, the few remaining checkpoints do little to prevent the new terror attacks; on the contrary, they invite terrorist to carry out their deeds right then and there.

Free movement has resulted in inflicting blood terror everywhere.  All that one requires is a knife, scissors or another sharp object or a vehicle (passenger car, bus, van, tractor).  Just aim and hit a group of pedestrians.  Jewish children at a bus stop? What a tasty, juicy target.  And so on.  Free movement on Israeli roads means the ability to reach Israelis and hit them in their soft belly – murdering innocent children, women, the elderly or anyone else one encounters.

There is a physical barrier that has prevented terrorism and has nullified the effectiveness of the Second Intifada.  It is made of many segments – wall, fence, the freeway or a hill, i.e. geographic and topographic barriers.  This separation barrier must be reinforced, to ensure that those who want to harm Israel be prevented from entering Israel and endangering her citizens.

There is one slight complication, you say.

You are either full citizens or you wish destroy to your country.”

For decades, ever since her inception as a modern country, Israel has treated her Arabs (Christian or Muslim) and other minorities as full citizens of the Jewish state.  She has done so with only one exception – Arab citizens do not serve in the military (interestingly, other minorities do serve, including the Druze, Bedouin, Circassian).  Without any debt to society, they enjoy full rights and are completely integrated.

For instance, if one looks at any road sign in Israel, it is in three languages – Hebrew, Arabic and English.  To those requiring more “substantive” evidence, Arabs serve on the Supreme Court, in the Parliament as full-fledged members, as judges, teachers, poets, movie producers and directors, doctors, nurses, professors, etc.

There are “mixed” cities throughout Israel, from Jerusalem, Nazareth, Acre, Jaffe (part of Tel Aviv major metropolitan), Lod, Haifa and others.  Jews and Arabs live together, or side by side, their society completely integrated.

Unfortunately, some have shown how ungrateful one can be, spitting into the well from which they drink, draining Jewish blood into it (and if they could, they would contaminate it with poison).

As Israeli Arabs and their leadership in the Israeli parliament (holding 13 out of 120 seats) continue their quest for separation from Israel, prefer to be called “Palestinians,” encourage and participate in the current terror intifada and act as a Fifth Column within Israel proper, Israelis (Jews) have chosen to stay away from Arab businesses.

Etched into the collective memory is one of the first terrorist attacks that happened in the Old City in Jerusalem at the beginning of the current Blood Intifada.

A couple with their very young son was walking and a Muslim Arab terrorist started stabbing them.  The wife, with a knife still in her shoulder, managed to grab the child and run, pleading to no avail with the other Arab shopkeepers to help her and her son, to provide a shelter from a madman.  At the same time, the terrorist was stabbing her husband repeatedly, to death.

One Jerusalemite Arab spat at her.  Another wished her death.  A third kicked her.  A fourth cursed her.  Another stood with a coke can and enjoyed the scene, as if marveling at a TV program.

If a family cannot walk safely in Israel’s capital city, at the holiest place in the world for the two oldest monotheistic religions in the entire region, the situation warrants attention.  The status quo means freedom to worship as one wishes but not on account and to the exclusion of the other.

The Arabs refuse to recognize the right of anyone else to exist and worship, and they are determined to change the status quo by spilling blood and spreading terror.  They have done so successfully in the past, driving away the Christians from Lebanon and Bethlehem, and they want to drive the Jews from Israel.  It is a long held dream, as long as the modern State of Israel, “to throw the Jews to the Sea.”

The “Palestinians” and their ISIS cohorts use the same intimidation tactics, and those work.  Except Israelis are a stubborn people.  If nothing else, those devout Muslims should at least remember reading once, somewhere, that the Jews are a very stubborn people indeed.  They can find multiple references to that in the Bible; alas they only recognize the Judeo-Christian Bible for the benefit of the West eager to know that Islam is an offshoot of its own religious cradle.

So despite the mounting death toll, Israelis’ determination only intensifies.  Thus, a standstill is reached.  On the one side those ISIS-like “Palestinians,” on the other side those “most-stubborn” Israelis.

Change advocates point out Arab leadership has not come out against the daily murders.  Quite on the contrary, the society at large encourages and supports the terror unleashed on Israel.  Its leaders excuse, justify and glorify what is taking place. There was one exception:  The Arab mayor of Nazareth in an outburst against the Arab MKs (Members of the Knesset) said the terror unleashed is hurting his city, as Israelis stopped buying and dining there.

Many say this is exactly what should take place:  avoid Arab-owned businesses.  Stay away from Jewish-owned businesses that employ Arabs.  Then, and only then, they might wake up and understand that this Intifada is bad for business, their business.

For anyone who is already on the edge of their seats ready to protest such horrible ideas by “hardliner advocates” (they are only “hardliners” if they are Israel-proponents) ready to use a plethora of names (starting with Islamophobes and Extremists), just ask yourselves if that is not exactly what you strive for when you promote “two states for two people, a Jewish and a Muslim state, side by side?”

First, complete separation.  Then, if normalcy can be achieved and safety and security maintained, a more open co-existence can be tried.  But at the moment, those who do not like Israel, those who prefer not to be called Israelis and those who act to bring Israel’s downfall should leave or stay out.  They are not welcome in Israel.  This message now being sent by some should be clear, its pitch noticeable to all.  When the message is voiced by one and all, the world might start taking notice.  Until then, it is an incoherent gibberish.

Alas, Arab Israelis do not want to leave.  They tell us explicitly it is “their” country, they are the landlords and Jews must return to Europe (most of them forget they came from Egypt or Saudi Arabia less than a century ago to find employment from the Zionists, now claim Lordship).  Israeli Arabs want to stay, because they know the best and safest place for them is Israel.  There is no better place for a Muslim Arab then in Israel proper.  Except, they need to make a choice they refuse to make.

Israeli Arabs need to decide if they prefer to remain Israeli citizens or if they want to see the erasure of the Jewish state from existence.  Indecision is unacceptable, for Israelis are determined to remain in their ancient homeland.

Remaining in oblivion is no longer an option, for the situation, like a cancer that has spread, has reached a tipping point where action is required if the body is to survive.

Anyone can see the Muslim Arabs, by their own actions, are bringing hard times to their people, since those in Israel may start feeling the integration crumpling.  Those in “Palestine” will understand that Jews, who were willing to co-exist, employ them and live side-by-side, are now—out of fear of their lives—no longer willing to do so.

An unintended consequence of Israeli deaths – sacrificed by Muslim terrorists on the altar of Death-to-the-Filthy-Jews – is to bring suffering to Muslims as well.  Except, it is becoming more and more evident, the latter do not care.  For them, the suffering is a small price to pay.  The more Jewish blood that is spilled and the greater the fear in the hearts of the Israelis, the greater is their achievement.

If we internalize this, we then know better how to fight.  The Muslim Arabs have raised and trained a generation for one thing only:  so it can be unleashed, wave after wave, as cheap and easily replaceable human killing machines.  All the Muslim Arabs need to do is send one to two a day, or three to five.  They have hundreds of thousands standing at ready to do their bidding, to achieve eternal glory for their families and themselves.

Are these Muslim Arabs who call themselves “Palestinians” different from their brethren of the Islamic State?  It seems to many, the similarities are striking.  The more blood they shed, the greater their deed.  The more gruesome their actions, the more fear they spread.  Both have unlimited resources; the latter from conquering oil fields, taking over banks and businesses and looting artworks and other treasures and the former from a non-stop flow of funding from the USA and Europe.

It is important to note that Europe and the USA are financing those who carved themselves a state out of the Body Israel.  They are active participants in Israel’s fate, neglecting the reality that what works against Israel is then immediately exported to the European capitals and later to the USA.

For those still in doubt, try to remember the Friday attacks in Paris in November 2015 that left 130 dead.

Israel needs to take extreme measures, and these do not sit well with the open and all-inclusive society Israel has created.  But, say those who want change, if Israel does not take these steps now, she will continue to pay the price in blood.

Winter 2014:
Me:  "Ok, Mom, I am going out."
Mom:  "Take a coat, it is cold outside."

Winter 2015:
Me:  "Ok, Mom, I am going out."
Mom:  "Take a knife.  It is dangerous outside."

First, the Muslim Arabs threw rocks.  Then they threw Molotov Cocktails.  Then they used knives.  From knives they graduated to live weapons.  And from there, they returned to the tested old methods of missiles and bombs.  To step up, rather than using regular bombs from the manufacturing facilities in Gaza and Iran, all that one should do is use dirty bombs.

To my European and American readers – we are repeatedly warned to remember what is happening in Israel will soon come to a theater nearby. In Paris, they shot one concertgoer after the next, in sequence, void of any compassion and with utter determination and joy, and only stopped to reload their guns.

If the steps suggested may not be to our taste, we are told to consider, what would we do if the theater were right in our neighborhood, city or country?  The steps proposed, insist the presenters, are nothing compared to what the French or the authorities in Belgium or other countries have implemented once attacked.

Alas, proponents for change say Israel has always been held to a different standard by the world than it holds itself. Since she is blamed and maligned any way, at least she will manage to better protect her citizens and restore normalcy by such a complete separation.
