Breivik’s Christian Revolution

Nazi Iron Cross

John R. Houk

An Anti-Christian atheist dear one commented on a post I sent to Facebook. The post is entitled, “New York Times reader kills dozens in Norway”. The SlantRight posting is actually an Ann Coulter piece using her political wit to point out that Anders Breivik wrote of more resources than Biblical Christians and Anti-Jihad/Anti-Islamist bloggers. The Anti-Christian dear on was quite antagonistic which forced me to spend more time than I really wished to examining a 1500 page manuscript by terrorist Anders Breivik.

Below are the initial interchanges between the dear one and I which is then followed by my assertions relating to Anders Breivik. (Note that comment section posts are rarely accomplished with grammar and spelling in mind. I usually edit such comments when I repost them but I thought it better not to do so out of anxiety that I may change dear one’s intent.)

Dear one: You neocons can spin and twist all you want. The facts are that he is a Christian, opposed Islam and multiculturalism and killed many people. His rant in his 1500 page diatribe sounds like a compilation of a lot of your posts on Islam. You are associated, like it or not.

John Houk: Dear one you need to re-check your facts! Even though the sicko Breivik may have appreciated Anti-Jihad/Anti-Islamist American writers and Western culture derived from a Christian past, his actions as a terrorist are far removed from bloggers and Christians. Bloggers expose the dark side of Islam to alert people in the West the Anti-Liberty nature of Islam. Breivik’s self-identification as a Christian must also be seen in the context of his self-identifications in his 1500 page manuscript; e.g. Christian Atheist and Christian Agnostic to name a mere couple. Those terms may be a few oxymorons you are more acquainted with. It is the LEFT doing the spinning not any proud Neocon, Anti-Jihad/Anti-Islamist blogger or Christian!

Dear one: He wan't (sic) an atheist John. Christian atheist is an oxymoron. He believed he was a knight of god sent to bring Europe back to it's cultural christian roots, which is ironic because it wasn't until the expanse of the roman empire di(d) Christianity gain a foothold.

Dear one: One retort to your misstatement of facts above: He didn't claim to be a christian atheist or christian agnostic. He said that people who are those two are welcome to join the fight to restore christian cultural values. Please don't misrepresent the facts.
++++++++++++++++++++

Dear one I did not misrepresent the facts! I may not have been precise; however upon a quick perusal of the Breivik manuscript my thoughts are indeed vindicated. Those terms may be a few oxymorons that you are more acquainted with. It is the LEFT doing the spinning not any proud Neocon, Anti-Jihad/Anti-Islamist blogger or Christian!

Is Breivik an atheist? You are correct in this justification.

Is Breivik a Christian? Your assertion is not justified. As I did point out “Christian atheist” is indeed an oxymoron; nevertheless that was Breivik’s phrase for an atheist that respected the roots of Western Culture which is Christianity.

Breivik DID NOT believe he was a knight sent from God in the sense of the Knights Templar of old. Breivik believes he is … READ THE REST AT SlantRight.com.

Breivik DID NOT believe he was a knight sent from God in the sense of the Knights Templar of old. Breivik believes he is a European tasked to raise the consciousness of Europeans to the darkness in Islam by revolutionary means. By revolutionary I mean armed tactics against European governments and institutions. The irony is it seems to be the same modus operandi that Islamic terrorists employ that have a global Caliphate in mind. Breivik implies that the people will rise against the status quo of Left Wing multiculturalism which accepts diversity rather than their national culture. Purist Muslims (Salafists, Wahhabi, Ikhwan, Deobandi, etc.) especially of the al Qaeda type believe attacks on Western institutions of power or Muslims in Islamic nations that might support the status quo of dictatorships or secular leanings will cause the Ummah (community of the people) to rise up and unify all Muslims to reinstitute Mohammed’s program of bringing Islam to the world.

According to my brief scanning (rather than detailed) of the 1500 page manuscript the violence is not aimed at Muslims but rather toward non-Muslims to cause chaos amongst European governments. The ultimate goal is to establish a secular-Christian culture that will then begin expelling Muslims from the European continent back to Muslim dominated lands. Then Breivik leaves the door open to handle the Middle East after Europe is secure.

Breivik’s new Templars are to be modeled after the Teutonic Knights (German) and what he calls Odinism which is an incorporation of the old Norse Gods. Norse mythic-religion is hardly a part of the Christian faith. Breivik’s Christian-Odinism is no more Christian than is Santeria and Voodoo which incorporates Catholicism in its syncretism. Christian-Odinism is a syncretic combination much as Santeria and Voodoo are. All three religions are condemned as pagan. If a pagan calls himself a Christian it does not make that person a Christian.

Breivik is no fan of Protestantism. He is a fan of Roman Catholicism; however Breivik believes a radical reformation of the Catholic Church needs to occur to eradicate political correctness in order for the Catholic Church to have some cajones to defend the faith from incursions from non-Christian cultures, specifically with Islam in mind.

Here is some of Anders Breivik’s thinking from his 1500 page pdf manuscript entitled, “2083: A European Declaration of War.” [SlantRight Editor: I lost the link to the version I originally downloaded, hence the reference pages below will be a little off from this link provided.]

3.139 Distinguishing between cultural Christendom and religious Christendom – reforming our suicidal Church

A majority of so called agnostics and atheists in Europe are cultural conservative Christians without even knowing it. So what is the difference between cultural Christians and religious Christians?

If you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and Go then you are a religious Christian. Myself and many more like me do not necessarily have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and God. We do however believe in Christianity as a cultural, social, identity and moral platform. This makes us Christian. (SlantRight Emphasis)

A majority of Christians, especially liberal, humanist Christians oppose the doctrines of self defence. I believe that self defence is a central part of Christianity as documented in another part of this book. The modern day pacifist Christianity is among other things a result four current regimes and their deliberate influence of the Church. They castrated and made the Church impotent and irrelevant, we will rejuvenate it by implementing our own reforms. But pragmatism will be the basis for which direction we chose to go. A strong church (on certain areas) is essential for the unity of our European countries. (p. 1297)

… The pacifistic/suicidal Christians must never be allowed to dominate the church again which one of the reasons why I personally believe that the protestant Church in Europe should once again should reform to become Catholic (Nordic countries, the UK, Germany, Benelux etc.). Re-introduction of cultural and Church aspects relating to honour should be the core of our objective when reforming the Church. My hope is that the future must nationalist leadership in Western European countries will agree. … The Church must not put any limits whatsoever on issues relating to science, research and development. Europe will continue to be the world’s center for research and development in all areas, strengthened by a predictable and “unchangeable” cultural framework. This again will considerably strengthen European and societal cohesion and therefore contribute to sustainable societies where harmony, progress, freedom and the furtherance of mankind are the primary civilisational pillars. (p. 1298)

Q: If you were to coin a word for the ideology or movement you represent, what would it be?

A:
Cultural conservatism or a nationalist/conservative direction know as the Vienna school of thought [SlantRight Editor: AKA Austrian School of Thought which is basically Laissez-Faire economics and has been influential with Libertarian economics and political theory. Uh-oh, perhaps Libertarians are a huge influence on the Breivik massacre]. As for the political movement; I would describe it as a National Resistance Movement, an Indigenous Rights Movement or perhaps a Conservative Revolutionary Movement. [SlantRight Editor: Links added by me]

… The primary factors that unites us is that we are all nationalists, anti-Marxist, anti-Islam(isation), we support indigenous rights and we are revolutionary, willing to martyr ourselves. [SlantRight: Emphasis Mine] (p. 1343)

Q: Can significant indirect damage against civilians be justified?

A:
Yes and no. It can be justified in the sense that it is the only pragmatical way to move forward. When someone blows up a government building it is obviously not with the intention to kill the cleaning lady or the janitor. The target has been selected after careful consideration because it will yield the wanted results.

Innocent people will die, in the thousands. But it is still better than the alternative; million of dead Europeans, which the worst case phase 3 scenario.

Q: What about atheists and Odinists, can they join the PCCTS, Knights Templar?

A:
If you want to fight for the cross and die under the “cross of the martyrs” it’s required that you are a practising Christian, a Christian agnostic or a Christian atheist (cultural Christian). The cultural factors are more important than your personal relationship with God, Jesus or the holy spirit. Even Odinists can fight with us or by our side as brothers in this fight as long as they accept the founding principles of PCCTS, Knights Templar and agree to fight under the cross of the martyrs. The essence of our struggle is to defeat the cultural Marxist/multiculturalist regimes of Western Europe before the we are completely overwhelmed by Muslims.

I have studied Norse Mythology and have a lot of respect for the Odinist traditions. I consider myself to be a Christian, but Odinism is still and will always be an important part of my culture and identity.

Q: Is it likely that Odinists will support the cause of the PCCTS, Knights Templar, considering the fact that many of them hate Christendom?

A: F
irst of all, as a Norwegian, I am extremely proud of my Odinistic/Norse heritage as it is an essential aspect of my culture and my identity. However, things aren’t black and white. Supporting the Christian cultural heritage does not automatically mean you hate Odinism or vice versa. There are pragmatical considerations Odinists have to evaluate as well. Do they really believe the symbolism of Mjöllnir (Thors hammer) has the potential to unite the Nordic peoples against the forces we are facing? Do they really believe Odinistic symbolism would be more suitable compared to the uniting force of Christendom’s symbolism and that of the cross? Anyone with half a brain will … (p. 1349)

As a cultural Christian, I believe Christendom is essential for cultural reasons. After all, Christianity is the ONLY cultural platform that can unite all Europeans, which will be needed in the coming period during the third expulsion of the Muslims.

… As for secularism, are there any strong uniting symbols at all? I think not. In representing your culture. In this context, the cross is the unrivalled as it is the most potent European symbol. I have had this discussion with many Odinists, and even they understand this.

Q: Do I have to believe in God or Jesus in order to become a Justiciar Knight?

A:
As this is a cultural war, our definition of being a Christian does not necessarily constitute that you are required to have a personal relationship with God or Jesus. Being a Christian can mean many things;

    - That you believe in and want to protect Europe’s Christian cultural heritage.

The European cultural heritage, our norms (moral codes and social structure included), our traditions and our modern political systems are based on Christianity – Protestantism, Catholicism, Orthodox Christianity and the legacy of the European enlightenment (reason is the primary source and legitimacy for authority).

… It is therefore essential to understand the difference between a “Christian fundamental theocracy” (everything we do not want) and a secular European society based on our Christian cultural heritage (what we do want).

So no, you don’t need to have a personal relationship with God or Jesus to fight for our Christian cultural heritage. It is enough that you are a Christian-agnostic or Christian-atheist (an atheist who wants to preserve at least the basics of the European Christian cultural legacy (Christian holidays, Christmas and Easter)). (p. 1350)

The PCCTS, Knights Templar is therefore not a religious organisation but rather a Christian “cultural” military order. [SlantRight Emphasis] (p. 1351)

Yeah I know this is a large amount of quoted material for a blog post, yet considering Breivik’s manuscript is 1500 plus pages I believe I did justice with the discussion between me and my Anti-Christian atheistic friend.

Included in the 1500 page document is a minor autobiography. In his bio Breivik alludes to connections with Skin Heads and Neo-Nazis in his youth. He writes that in growing up one of his closest friends was a Muslim with a Pakistani heritage. His friend had an identity crisis and began to hang around Muslims more and more because of the isolation he was feeling from Norwegian nationals. Ultimately Breivik’s friend abandoned him for his Muslim family. Breivik attempts to nonchalant the divide between himself and his Muslim friend; however I could tell from the reading it was not an appreciated choice that was made by his Muslim friend.

Breivik describes youthful gang activity that included both Muslim and Norwegian gangs. He relates a story of how some Muslim gangs intimidated some Norwegian gals (if memory serves correctly, it might have been a guy). The Norwegian youth gang tracked down the Muslim gang with an implied can of whup-ass being delivered to the point that a gang deal was reached for gang borders. You can see the hate beginning here.

Breivik then makes friends with Skinheads and Neo-Nazi youths which he asserts were more into being social bad-boys than politics.

I personally believe his autobiography to this point; however from this point onward the account of his life seems a bit stretched. He describes joining a transnational European Knights Templar. Breivik’s invitation to join in a leadership capacity gave him the honor of being among the youngest in association. Evidently Breivik’s Knights Templar are a secretive lot laying the ground work that will begin the revolution to bring down the current ruling elites of Europe and then begin to deport Muslims.

I don’t know about you but there seems to be some parallels of how Adolf Hitler actually rose to power in Germany. This is not to say that Breivik is anywhere close to Hitler’s position of rising because Breivik is now in jail awaiting prosecution which will either send him to prison or to the nut house. Prison was a period of time that Hitler used to write his Nazi manual entitled Mein Kampf. Hitler laid out his thoughts on the racial superiority of the Germanic people compared to other races. Then Hitler laid out his thoughts about races and/or people he considered subhuman and a stain to the racial purity Hitler envisioned. In Hitler’s eyes the biggest racial stain were the Jews. Thus a final solution must be placed into action to get rid of the Jews from Germany or any land controlled by the Third Reich. The Final Solution led to the Holocaust in which Six Million Jews were slaughtered along with about Six Million non-Jews that Hitler also considered a racial stain.

I quickly thumbed through Breivik’s manuscript and I did not notice any a Final Solution to terminate Muslims. Breivik does write about stages or phases that involving deporting Muslims. I did not read the framework of those phases; however I am certain the Jews were told they were to be deported only to discover Concentration Camps and extermination chambers.

Breivik’s Knights Templar is a next level Nazi Party. Instead of establishing the superiority of the German people, Breivik establishes Western Culture as it has been derived from its Christian roots as superior to those who practice Islam. It is a bit more difficult to brand Muslims as a race as the Jews had by Hitler. Islam is designed to be attractive on a multiracial basis of conversion while Judaism is rather insular and stand-offish toward non-Jews. This is especially the case of Orthodox Jews in being separate from non-Jews.

It is obvious that Breivik’s “Christendom” superiority complex is largely based that Muslims living in Europe are from Asia, Middle East and Africa (although most Muslims live in Indonesia).

So let’s recap my dear one’s assertions toward Ann Coulter’s article:

Dear one: He wan't (sic) an atheist John. Christian atheist is an oxymoron. He believed he was a knight of god sent to bring Europe back to it's cultural christian roots, which is ironic because it wasn't until the expanse of the roman empire di(d) Christianity gain a foothold.

Breivik is not an atheist; however he is not what one would call a Christian that worships ONLY the oneness of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Breivik stipulates he is not religious and is proud of Nordic heritage which includes the religiosity of Odinism which is pagan worship. Breivik is all about brainwashing Europeans with symbols he believes will bring a cohesion to Europeans in general. Breivik chooses Christian symbolism merely because it is more ubiquitous than regional nationalistic symbols (e.g. Odinism) or ideologies based on race (e.g. Nazism). I am fairly confident in saying for Breivik that Christian symbolism holds the most importance as a European unifier; however other symbolism such as from Odinism, Nazism or the old Roman Empire can be inculcated into Breivik’s vision of Cultural Christian primacy if the inculcation means the expulsion of Muslims from Europe.

Dear one: One retort to your misstatement of facts above: He didn't claim to be a christian atheist or christian agnostic. He said that people who are those two are welcome to join the fight to restore christian cultural values. Please don't misrepresent the facts.

Let’s examine how awful my misstatement is. Here is Breivik qualifying those who can join the revolution to change European society:

If you want to fight for the cross and die under the “cross of the martyrs” it’s required that you are a practising Christian, a Christian agnostic or a Christian atheist (cultural Christian). The cultural factors are more important than your personal relationship with God, Jesus or the holy spirit.

Breivik says a Christian Atheist is a Cultural Christian. Now here is Breivik specifically identifying the kind of Christian he is:

As a cultural Christian, I believe Christendom is essential for cultural reasons.

That specifically reads that Anders Breivik considers himself a “Christian Atheist”.
