The State of Arizona has yet again placed a law on their books that infuriates Leftists. Both Houses of the Arizona State Congress passed HB 2177 which is dubbed the Birther Bill which requires candidates running for Office in Arizona to prove their birth in America with an original Birth Certificate, Baptismal record or circumcision record.
The Bill sounds like a no-brainer and no-big-deal common sense piece of law to Joe American; however it infuriates people who claim to have been born in America and cannot produce an original Birth Certificate but are to produce a State certified Certificate of Live Birth.
The Leftists in America are lining up to denounce the common sense Birther Bill undoubtedly because it is one step away from focusing on the birth of children from illegal immigrants but especially because their fearful leader President Barack Hussein Obama falls into this category.
So now the calls are ringing out that the Birther Bill is Unconstitutional based on the 14th Amendment when there was little discussion about vetting BHO’s natural born status according to other portions of the U.S. Constitution.
But here is the thing; the portion of the Constitution that deals with the eligibility of who can run and win an election to the Office of President is defined Article II and section 1:
The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice-President chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.
Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
I left out the original clauses amended or superseded by Amendments 12, 20 and 25. Take note that the explanatory notes of the web page I found this at does not include Amendment 14 as representative to any changes of Article II section 1. The clause in question concerning President Barack Hussein Obama is emphasized in bold type.
The Birther Bill is in conjunction of the Article II section 1 clause 5 of the U.S. Constitution. The Birth Bill does not discriminate on citizens based on race, creed, gender or religion. The Birther Bill does not even define what exactly the nature of a Natural Born Citizen is! The Birther Bill merely stipulates that potential candidates for Office provide proper documentation as to where that person was born to insure the person was born within the United States of America.
If the Birther Bill does not contradict the 14th Amendment or the revisions of Amendments 12, 20 and 25 then what is the basis for Arizona to pass such a law in regard to voting procedure within the State? The answer is the 10th Amendment:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
President Obama what is the problem then? Some have speculated there is some embarrassing information on the original Long Form Birth Certificate from Hawaii and thus BHO has used the great expense of an army of lawyers and the current power the Executive Branch to keep his public record private. Maybe the embarrassing Birth Certificate data might be so embarrassing it might jeopardize a reelection for 2012. Assuming there is truth from the President of the United States and he was born in Hawaii as his short form Birth Certificate indicates, then he needs to produce that Long Form document to verify an American birth.
If President BHO is indeed a Natural Born Citizen but fears alternative data to be exposed from his Long Form, then what could that data be? Perhaps BHO had a different father than originally suspected. Perhaps step-daddy Soetoro was BHO’s actual daddy. Perhaps momma was married to Muslims Obama and Soetoro but the sixties sexual revolution found her on the path to a one night stand with an entirely different man and that man is on the Long Form Birth Certificate.
Without the actual Long Form data all my musings are the equivalent of gossip rag garbage.
Come on Mr. President, show us the Long Form and become the transparent public figure you claimed you would be. So what if the Long Form data is embarrassing and politically damaging. Unless the Republicans offer up a moron as a Presidential candidate you probably loose in 2012 anyway. And if you do manage to turn public opinion to your favor by November 2012, think of President Slick Willie Clinton. President Clinton was reelected even though he was impeached and after lying to the nation finally had to accede he received oral sex from Monica Lewinski. Evidently the sperm on Lewinski’s dress belonged to sex-addict Clinton.
Surely Mr. President there is nothing more embarrassing than the public humiliation the reelected William J. Clinton experienced. So Mr. President if you indeed are a Natural Born Citizen then let the cards fall where they land on the table then make your best case for reelection. You might even ask your Secretary of State how Slick Willie pulled it off.
