Caroline Glick is a fearless writer as far as Western Political Correctness is concerned. Her article entitled “The Age of Dissimulation” provides clear articulation that the religion of peace is if anything – NOT PEACEFUL. Admittedly much of Islam’s moral clarity is greater than the West which in Europe has eschewed Christian morality as archaic. Incidentally even in America in which people still recognize themselves as Christians; the Left Wing agenda of rendering Biblical Morality has had an unfortunate success. Although Islam’s moral clarity is basically a reflection of the Law taught to the twelve tribes of the Hebrews long before the birth of Mohammed, that clarity does not translate into allowing God rather than humanity enforcing punishment for clear human abandonment of Divine Morality.
In the West toleration is a requirement for acts of sin that do not bring physical harm to others. There is no toleration in Islam. Biblical Moralists do not accept homosexuality as a lifestyle choice for the Bible specifically forbids inter-gender sex as the act of a reprobate mind. Islamic Moralists do not allow homosexuality either yet to be honest I don’t have a clue if homosexuality is forbidden in the Quran, Hadith or Sira.
The West has handled homosexuality by making Biblical Morality archaic and inculcating societal acceptance via the secularizing effects of Secular Humanism, Moral Relativity and the cultural segregation of multicultural-diversity. Biblical Christians in America are intolerant of the homosexual lifestyle for Biblical reasons; however yet Biblical Christians do not advocate a violent reaction to homosexuals that secularizing forces have validated. Indeed in the West anyone that expresses condemnation of homosexuality in the West is labeled a provocateur of hate and is labeled as a homophobe which is an epithet pictured as bigotry.
In Islamic culture homosexuality is a punishable act which is exacted on the convicted from a whipping to the execution of a death sentence. One example is President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad proclaiming in a speech that there are no homosexuals in Iran. Meaning if one is caught they are dead.
I use homosexuality as a mere drop in the bucket on what punishable crime in the West and in Islamic Culture. Another example is thieving. A thief goes to prison in Western society. A thief in Islamic culture can get the thieving hand or hands lopped off. Adultery in the West is handled by the mercy or lack of mercy by the offended spouse. The punishment for adultery in the West is not criminal, but can result in a divorce in which lawyers argue over the division of property and children until a settlement is hammered out or a Judge decides the division. In Islamic culture an adulterer can be whipped or stoned to death and almost always it is only the female adulterer that is the recipient of said punishment. There is no punishment for fornication (consensual sex between adults) in the West. Secular Humanism has made fornication so acceptable in the West no one turns there head anymore even if the fornicators are living together out of wedlock. That is an unfortunate moral plague in the West. In Islamic culture fornicators receive the whip. I read one place the whip is executed with 100 lashes for male and female. Again, it is usually only the women that are punished in Islamic societies, for it takes four male Muslim witnesses. In a misogynist culture such as Islam, it is doubtful four males are going to testify against a male fornicator. In talking about the four male witnesses are needed to convict, this also applies in the case of a rape of a woman. If there are four male witnesses to a rape in Islamic culture they are probably co-participants in the rape. Again the male is never punished and the female victim of rape may be lashed with the whip or stoned to death depending if she is single or married. After the whipping an unmarried rape victim there is a good chance that a male member of her family (father, brother, uncle, etc.) will kill for family honor. In America forensic evidence is enough to convict a rapist for this violent crime. Of course acts of violence, thievery, fornication and rape executed upon a non-Muslim (kafir) in Islamic culture is likely to NEVER be prosecuted. It is not uncommon for Muslims to rape kafir women in the West (especially Europe) because Islam absolutely does not view crimes against kafir to be a crime.
Thus when I read about the idiocy from a Muslim Cleric or apologist that Islam is peaceful, treats women with respect and generally treats humanity well; I get a little miffed at the hypocrisy. Caroline Glick really takes Islam and the West’s head in the sand toward Islam to task in her article entitled, “The Age of Dissimulation.”
Here is an excerpt from Glick writing about terrorist organization Hamas’ Foreign Minister Mahmoud al-Zahar:
Today, practically, the only individuals willing to speak honestly about who Islamic supremacists are and what they want are the Islamic supremacists themselves.
For instance, in an interview last week with Reuters, the Islamic supremacist Hamas movement's "foreign minister" Mahmoud al- Zahar told the Christian West, "You do not live like human beings. You do not [even] live like animals. You accept homosexuality. And now you criticize us?"
Al-Zahar also made the case for Islamic feminism. As he put it, "We are the ones who respect women and honor women ... not you. You use women as an animal. She has one husband and hundreds of thousands of boyfriends. You don't know who is the father of your sons, because of the way you respect women."
Finally, al-Zahar claimed that Westerners have no right to question Islam or criticize it. In his words, "Is it a crime to Islamize the people? I am a Muslim living here according to our tradition. Why should I live under your tradition? We understand you very well. You are poor people. Morally poor. Don't criticize us because of what we are."
Al-Zahar can sleep easy. The citizens of the West have rarely heard anyone in any positions of power and influence criticize Islamic supremacists "because of what they are."
Anyone in the West with a modicum of common sense should be indignantly upset with Islamic Supremacist al-Zahar for actually comparing the tolerant West to the intolerant Islamic culture. Al-Zahar specifically proclaims a Muslim has NO SHAME for the violent acts of Islam because Islam is so much more pure than the West which is still influenced by its Biblical Christian heritage. This is to say a Biblical Judeo-Christian heritage that is increasingly belittled for its moral values by the ruling of elite of the West.
